From the moment I arrived, Swati and the front desk team made me feel genuinely welcome. Their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to help with even the smallest requests set the tone for a wonderful stay. Every interaction felt sincere, and their responsiveness made everything effortless. I’ve stayed at several Hyatt properties around the world, but there’s something truly special about Hyatt hotels in India—their hospitality consistently goes above and beyond, and this visit was no exception.
My room was always kept in pristine condition, and I deeply appreciated the care put into maintaining it each day. Sobha, who looked after my room, was exceptional. Her attention to detail and thoughtful approach were evident in everything she did. The small gestures—fresh flowers, neatly arranged amenities, and the fun, creatively folded towels—always brought a smile to my face. These personal touches made the space feel warm and welcoming, almost like a home away from home.
Overall, the service, warmth, and genuine hospitality I experienced throughout my stay exceeded every expectation. It’s these memorable moments and thoughtful details that remind me why Hyatt remains one of my top choices whenever I travel.

We got a different room than we had requested and were told it was an ‘upgrade’. It wasn’t. No privacy and noisy as it was next to the pool so we couldn’t open the curtains as there seemed to be always people just outside our window.. It was also noisy due to some constant noise coming through either the ceiling or adjacent wall.
Bathroom was not up to five star standards at all.
The breakfast and dining room staff in attendance were very good. So was the staff at the front desk. Room service was also very good. Sunil in attendance deserves a lot of credit for his efficiency.

The staff is amazing. Also the breakfast is very delicious and the ambience is very appealing. The wait staff knows exactly what you like and next day you will get the right coffee, bread etc without asking. Also, kudos to the pastry chef!!

They also have live Indian classical music that sets you up in the right mood.

The rooms could have a bit of upgrades but not an area of concern.

The front facing rooms (facing the large busy street) can be too noisy for very noise sensitive people like me bit for normal people probably fine. Lots of heavy trucks and some sort of machine noise. The thick windows were good but not quite good enough for me. In the middle of the night I changed to a room facing a vacant lot in the back and it was perfect!! Service was excellent. Gave me lots of extra drinking water, and extra sheet and duvet all very quickly without having to argue or pay like some other hotels.
My main fruistrations were hard to get cash and my data plan (which worked fine in Delhi) didnt work in Pune. You might consider brining cash and buying a local SIM card in advance. Of course make sure you have Uber which works great and is totally essential. I'm not sure they even have regula cabs with meters.

My stay for 2 weeks at Hyatt was pleasant, the staff was good overall specially the security guards and there is a Sardarji who was always very helpful.

My experience with cleaning staff was not good though, found cockroaches in bathroom, also I lost some of my gift coupons which were kept on table. When asked to my surprise they straight away declined it. I was giving generous tip to cleaning staff daily but after this incident I stopped.

Food quality is good, restaurant staff is very helpful and friendly and they will make sure your concerns are addressed.

I have a serious issue with the smell at the lobby and the elevators. They’re using some kind of scent. And they have a water fountain at the lobby you can smell like a sewage. I have reported the matter to the managers, and by the way, this is not the first time that I have reported this. This is a completely serious issue other than that the hotel staff they’re excellent but the smell is nasty

Very nice spacious room & bathroom. Very comfortable bed with nice soft sheets & fluffy pillows. We were given a nice room with an awesome view of the city.

This hotel is very clean and we appreciated the high security, we felt very safe. But the highlight of our stay was the staff, they were so accommodating and kind to us. We had stayed at a 5 star hotel for 2 nights before we had to move because of the location to our convention. We spent the additional 2 nights at the Doubletree and honesty wish we had spent the whole 4 nights here because we enjoyed it so much more. Thank you to the staff for giving 5 star service. We will definitely stay here again.

The stay started off with an extremely stressful and unpleasant experience of pests (cockroaches) in our room and in the dining area (even on the dining table itself)!
We had to raise the issue beyond the front desk associates and had to engage the GM and the Front Office Manager.
The silver lining was the sincere attention given to our grievances aka serious health and hygiene concerns by these two individuals.
The issue was taken very seriously as it should have been and immediate remedial steps were being put in place.
I do want to also note that the Exec Chef was particularly concerned about the issue and was equally involved in addressing the issue in the dining area. He was also personally involved in taking care of our dietary needs throughout our entire stay.
In summary what could have been an absolute disastrous situation was saved by this team and for that both my wife and I are thankful.
Though inexcusable, the gap was owned and addressed by the team which goes a long way … owning a mistake is key and diligently addressing it shows responsibility.

Very nice hotel, great restaurants and food in house, staff super helpful, grand opulence in the midst of the City. Everything in Pune is a mix of old and new, modern and ancient, pristine and squalor. Just go a half mile and it all renews again. The symphony of horns in traffic is worth the visit, as you navigate the City to see the sights.

Hyatt leaves a lot to desire for - age is showing on the property.
Worst issue was a live small cockroach in the dinner buffet area that I had to point to the chef manning the station who squashed it with a paper towel and continued with his service as if no big deal. I informed Mr Mahesh the main chef who seemed a lot more concerned and apologetic.
The front desk staff is not welcoming at all except for Mr Amol Gaikwad who seemed eager to serve - kudos to him on his attitude.
Mr Deepak Borade Asst Housekeeping Manager is definitely worth a mention who (after realizing they had ruined my wife’s pure silk top in the laundry) went above and beyond to take care of us and was genuinely concerned about the shortcomings. Stuff happens - it’s how you deal with it matters.
Perhaps the broader staff need to learn from their mates (Amol and Deepak) or go stay at any Taj Property for a few days to learn what service really means!

The only thing I was not impressed by was that we could not walk anywhere from the property as there is a lot of traffic and no sidewalks. That being said, we didn't feel the need to leave the property much as it is very large, comfortable, beautiful, with great restaurants, spa, gym... We loved their breakfast buffet. It was a great way to start the day.

My mother and I used all of the amenities more than once! The machines at the gym are top notch. Spa staff was lovely and services were reasonably priced. We also spent considerable time on the shaded outdoor beds by the pool. It felt like the garden of Eden out there! The Wifi was strong so I was able to work easily on my computer.

The whole staff at the hotel was LOVELY and so helpful! We would especially like to thank Sahil (our house keeper), Ubhay (at the bar), Neerav (helped us at the front desk many times), Caroline (at the restaurant), Arbinda and papuu (helped us at the restaurant), and Pooja who checked on us during our stay.

I am signing up to be a member of Hyatt because of our stay. I would highly recommend.

Front desk staff was not coming as customer friendly, at times sounded very rigid and mechanical robots. Giving a blunt no answer is not appreciated. Noticed a few ants in the bathroom. Hotel needs to take of that very meticulously else it’s a big no-no for coming back to this hotel again. Frontdesk Staff is suggested to be trained on soft skills and smoother interactions. Won’t be surprised if I come next time and find the same communication style by them.

Very good hotel and good ambience, friendly staff who go out of the way to help, didn’t expect anything less from Hyatt.

However on the hygiene of staff, quite a few staff smelled bad body odor or with a strong smoking smell, or bad smell smell from mouth this made it unpleasant at times when dealing with staff. I hope Hyatt can take care of this.

The Hotel is nowhere near what a 5 Star hotel should be like.

1. The rooms are tiny.
2. The Temp is fixed for multiple rooms and does not change.
3. The A/C Vent whose temp you cannot control comes on your head
4. The Alleyway on the room floors are dingy and dirty.

We were given an upgraded Executive suit without asking. The staff were prompt and polite. The room size was big, and top-notch cleanliness all over the hotel. Great range of breakfast choices with a LIVE counter for freshly prepared delicacies. The In-room dining was great too. It is just 10 minutes from the Pune airport and 20 minutes into the central Pune areas. The SPA services were brilliant too. You can just go there and relax, and take care of your business or vacation, the rest will be taken care of by the hotel staff.

Finishings in the room were not done well, sloppy painting, use of cheap ply wood or MDF in the ceiling areas installed not well. The cheap wood generated really unpleasant smells so I left the suite door and washroom door open to try to dissipate the smell however the seating area of the suite was musty smelling and leaving all the doors open lead to a mosquito coming to bite me in my sleep 4 bites. The sheets weren't clean they had hair on them pillow cases had hair on them, water stains all over the towel holders and faucets indicating they weren't cleaned properly. When I asked for new sheets the house keeper came in with their shoes on, no booties and walked across the whole area bringing in whatever was on their shoes. At breakfast the cooks and servers were coughing into the buffet food, obviously not on purpose but definitely not good hygiene. Though I noticed the other guests doing the same thing so maybe this is a cultural thing in Pune. Anyways I struggled to see how this place is a 5 star establishment, maybe there's a different scale in Pune. The level of eagerness to serve seemed ok but I expect high levels of cleanliness in a 5 star establishment.

Hotel is lovely - clean, comfortable room. Food is good. What stopped this being a five is staff in some areas, notably in room dining call so often to check if everything is fine it drives me nuts! Please deliver the food and collect the tray from outside the room. No phone calls to check if the food is ok or when to collect the tray. I lost count of how many meetings were interrupted by these calls this week. Completely unnecessary!

I will be back!

It’s the little things that make us feel warm and fuzzy at an otherwise impersonal hotel. A warm welcome at the reception. A handwritten note in the room. Kiran, the duty manager, cordial and customer centric. The staff at the restaurant, the quality of food. The drivers who dropped us to work and picked us up again in the evening. The guards at the gate... everyone from start to finish was simply marvellous. The thankyou for staying with us chocolate note on a plate with a croissant was a nice touch too.

Hyatt Pune felt like a home away from home! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and valued. Special thanks to Kiran for being a darling and being extra helpful.
