The location was a short distance to town but not walkable due to the right roadways. We took cabs to all of our destinations after an uphill walk to our first destination (Siena is built on top of the hill).
The staff was very friendly and helpful in suggesting wineries to tour.
The only downside was the room and bathroom
size. To sit on the toilet the shower doors needed to be opened up and there was no space in the main room to sit even tho there were 2 chairs provided.

Great hotel with good facilities and spacious rooms.
This place is good if you are travelling by car as there is free parking.
The only issue is that it is far to get into the heart of Siena but there is bus nearby which is frequent. The only problem is that the bus does not go run late and so you are reliant on taxis.

They were accommodating. It was my daughter and I traveling together. We were placed in a floor level room and we like to sleep with the window opened. I asked to be placed one level up and she said no I didn't pay for a room on the higher floor. The hotel was almost empty and it didn't seem like that great of a request.

Good location ! Great for travelers with car

If you are driving in Siena , this hotel is easily located and has a big spacious parking lot right upfront so it make driving very easy . You can just buy bus tickets at the hotel for your ride up to the Siena city center . Bus stop is located after crossing the round about and turn left walk straight and you see a bus stop .
For me , while walking I look at the bus that drove by me and knew there will be a stop in front . Bus come every 15 mins from .:03

First night I stayed at a room where there is no WiFi and they can’t change a room for me till the next day . My suggest is you check the WiFi coverage of the room first before you decide to take it if WiFi is very important to you as not all room has WiFi .
Breakfast selection is just very average and in my opinion not worth to pay for it .

Good location , good for drivers that need parking .overall I am happy with the hotel !

The hotel staff was exceptional, especially Alessia who spoke many languages to help us and guests around us during check in. She was very informative about how to get around during a holiday and how to best see the city.

This hotel is a bus/cab ride from historic Siena, so keep that in mind, but transit was quite easy.

One night in Siena

We stayed overnight with another couple while visiting Siena. The location is a short cab ride from the center of town, but very convenient. Staff was friendly and accommodating. My wife received a massage from the small spa in the hotel. The therapist actually stayed an extra half hour to fit her in! We will definitely stay here again.

Good hotel just outside of Siena city centre

Good value for its location. Approximately a 20 minute walk to Siena city centre. There is a local bus if you don't want to hike up. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is clean. Air conditioner is good. Good connection to wifi. We purchased the option that included breakfast. Not the best but convenient given that we weren't going back into city centre in the morning. We got to this hotel via taxi from the bus terminal (we took a bus from Florence to Siena) but there is parking available for those arriving by car.

We stayed one night before picking up a rental car from Europcar that is approx. 3.5km away from the hotel.

Not a bad hotel for the price, but a bus ride away from the city itself. From what we heard from the other tourists we met, you'd be better off spending your money on accommodation within the city walls. The hotel served its purpose, but I wouldn't stay here again nor recommend it particularly.

Amazing hotel!! As soon as we arrived the gentleman on the front desk was so lovely and helpful. He explained everything about siena and the best travel options to get into the town. The room was very spacious and had sky tv. The lovely part was the fact the hotel left us a complimentary bottle of prosecco and left rose pettles on the bed because we were visiting for our anniversary. Would definitely come back to this hotel again.

Basic budget hotel, just outside of Siena

This is a no frills hotel, with all the basic amenities, including breakfast, for a reasonable price. It's technically within walking distance of Siena, but it's about a 30 mins walk. However, if you have a car, it's within about 5 mins driving distance to the nearest parking lot outside of Siena city walls, from which it's about a 5-10 mins walk to the center of town.
There are a few minor issues with it, however. There is a crazy breakfast lady, who works in the cafeteria (and seemingly runs it) and acted like she was trying to punish us, not feed us. Otherwise, the breakfast itself was OK, albeit somewhat limited. The AC is a little weak and cannot be adjusted. Otherwise, the room is basic, with adequate space for medium sized luggage; the bathroom is clean and functional and the bed is better than average for a budget hotel.
All in all, we were happy with our stay and I would recommend it for budget travelers, especially for those with a car.

over priced, inconvenient location, subpar service

This was the most expensive hotel of our trip to Italy, but we were disappointed and would not go back. Its a newer place, but at $140 not any better than the $90 rooms we stayed at elsewhere in Italy. the hotel is hard to find at first located on a traffic circle highway with no shops anywhere near. Its way too far to talk to Siena over a mile up a giant hill, and the bus back stops running at 7:30 pm, so we had to drive in, and we might as well have been further away and saved $50. We asked about the spa on check in, and it was full, they dissuaded us from the morning usage, but later we asked about it, and it was full too. So no spa at all. Also, the breakfast was lacking in egg or meat like other upscale hotels. The women working in the lunch room were so busy gossiping that it took 20 minutes to serve coffee. On check in, they took our passports for hours until we insisted they return them. The room was tiny and not special.

Really good location to get access from the high way.We arrived at the hotel late at around 01:00,and the staff was really helpful introducing the surroundings for us.Really appreciate his active working attitude,so as to the waitresses and chef.They were really happy working like a busy bee.It was a shame I only stayed for one night,if possible,it's the best choice to stay next time back to Parma.

Good value hotel, best if you have a car

This hotel is very good value for exploring Siena and other parts of Tuscany and ideal if you have a car. It's a bit of a walk away from Siena town centre but there's a bus that goes every 15 minutes however the last bus back is at 8.30pm so not easy to have dinner in town. However there are a few restaurants very nearby the hotel that are just fine. Continental breakfast is great. Wifi is great. Very clean room. Excellent budget-friendly option.

Modern décor with parking was a good stay for a night. A short walk to the bus stop but we were unaware that there is more than one route for Bus 54 that takes you into Siena near the Duomo. They sell the tickets at the front desk so it was convenient. The spa was very relaxing.

AMAZING! The receptionist at the hotel made our trip to Siena so much better than we could have imagined. Their local knowledge and recommendations of the city was a huge bonus!The hotel was great -- clean, spacious, and very flexible. They did everything they would have possibly done and more to make our experience unforgettable. The location is perfect for the price paid. No, it is not in the middle of Siena -- but, Siena is very accessible from the hotel. There is a bus that goes every 15 minutes. For those of us traveling by car through tuscany, there is free parking at the hotel and there are multiple parking garages close to the city, ranging from free to 2 euros per hour. Pretty perfect.

We stayed at the San Marco for one night to go to the Palio in Siena. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel clean and modern. Location was good and easy to catch a bus the short ride up the hill to the walled city of Siena. Breakfast was nice also. Only complaints were poor internet and also the squeakiest bed ever. Maybe not ideal for romantic getaways!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Very convenient for people with cars. Free ,ample parking. 100 meters away is the #54 bus stop to go to and return from the central Siena city. They even sell the bus tickets. Room was spacious, clean, quiet. Bathroom very adequate. Served me coffee early morning. Breakfast is served at 6:30AM. Staff very courteous. Even helped to take our bags to the room for free. Elevator is appreciated. Cost $ 120/night with free parking, breakfast, convenient connection to the central city. Can't beat it. Highly recommended.

Very nice staff, reasonable price, good atmosphere, view of the Duomo off to the right from the window, high ceilings, panoramic view from dining area at breakfast. It's in a building with several other pensione so it's easy to miss it when driving by; this is a good place not to have a car. Note not the hotels fault, but the cab fare from the rental agency where we dropped off the car from just on the other side of the train station to the hotel was astronomical. We had bags and couldn't walk them. It was easy however walking the bags to the train station when we left on the high speed train to Rome, which is much easier if less educartional then driving.

O atendimento foi excelente.
A recepcionista Maddalena, em especial, foi bastante atenciosa.
O hotel é uma ótima opção para quem está de carro, pois no centro da cidade não há onde estacionar.
Entretanto, para os pontos turísticos, você terá que ir de carro e deixá-lo em um dos estacionamentos no centro histórico que te cobram 2 euros por hora.

Hotel um pouco distante do centro, mas excelente para servir de base para conhecer as cidades vizinhas. Estacionamento amplo, quartos e wc bons, bom café da manhã, tem só 2 restaurantes próximo mas muito bons (Mulichele e Lá Colonna)

New clean building and enough parking space are quite good condition in Siera. And distance to city area is also attractive point. recommend it.
