I really want to give this hotel a good review, but we would not stay here again. The gentlemen at check in was super nice and we can't say enough good things about him. The issues we had was the hotel not being clean. You could tell that the floors in out room were not cleaned just by looking at them and my white socks were black from walking around. The ice machine filter has not been cleaned in some time, and we could tell because our ice was black and dirty. I'm not sure if the juice machine at breakfast had the same issue or not but the apple juice literally made me get sick after about 30 minutes. We didn't use the hot tub or pool, but it seemed to be the nicest perk if you get to use it. The pool room was very clean.

I booked for 2 nights. When I came back at 10pm the second night, there was a large group of young foreign construction workers partially clothed, tatoos, etc., in the rooms around mine. When I got to mine, the door was open, my stuff was moved, and there were people in my room. The kind gentleman working at the desk that shift explained that a number of rooms had mistakes. My room was not cleaned. I was in the system as a 'no-show,' even though I had checked in and stayed there. NOT COOL.

The bed was supra interesting and by that I mean it was so relaxing! The breakfast was interesting too, they had something different both days I stayed there. When I checked in they were nice and friendly. When I made coffee my coffee maker was broke and they fixed it right away. The room was clean and the pool was so great it was worth it and more. Thank you to the hotel. I am so happy I took an adventure out.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The property was in poor condition. The hot tub, pool, and surrounding areas were visibly dirty, and the carpets in the hallways were stained and unkept. Inside the room, we found mold on the shower curtain, mouse droppings on the bathroom floor, handprints on the headboard, and dead bugs in the drawers. Even worse, there were cockroaches in the bedside drawers and what appeared to be dirt or insect feces behind the bed. We were offered a 25% discount for the inconvenience, but it was never applied to our account. Overall, this was an unacceptable experience and I would not recommend staying here ever.

Worst Hotel Ever

The worst hotel experiences I have ever had. So-Called \"hot\" breakfast was stone cold. Coffee was disgusting. And those were the good points. When toilet backed up and I called to the front desk there was no answer, even after repeated calls. Went down to find the front desk clerk asleep at his computer. Woke him and explained the situation, to which he angrily replied, \"that's not my problem.\" I explained that, in fact, it is his problem so he stormed off and came back several minutes later with a plunger that he handed to me. I asked how I was supposed to deal with the water on the floor and he responded, \"I'm not leaning it up.\" I demanded he call his manager who was able to get another person who works there to help--and he was very helpful. But this was a truly horrid experience and I cannot believe anyone would put this person as their front desk clerk.

This was absolutely the filthiest, most depressing hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The smell in the hallways and room actually made my eyes water it was so disgusting. Everything had a layer of grime and filth. I’m shocked we didn’t get bed bugs honestly. The breakfast was pathetically bad - the waffle maker didn’t work, the juice machine was broken, the hardboiled eggs were moldy, there was no milk, no syrup. I mean literally there was just nothing but moldy nasty food and broken appliances. Seriously - do not stay here, it is beyond terrible.

This property was very dirty. From the lobby to the room. My feet were black from the floor in the room . The pool was very cloudy and run down. There was an odd smell that lingered. There was very little breakfast options and the eggs looked dried out. The air conditioning keep the room moist upon leaving our clothes were damp.

Had a reservation via Expedia. Received confirmation number from Expedia and Quality Inn. I show up at the front desk to be told my reservation had be cancelled. Could not tell me by who, just asked me to call expedia. Called expedia customer service and they could not understand why the hotel cancelled the reservation. They were on the line with the hotel for 45 minutes, they could not explain to Expedia why they cancelled it, but they accepted no responsibility. Worst part was there was no room available for more than 30 miles away. I went to Indianapolis and spend the night. Stay away from places like that. FYI: Because it was a last minute reservation the rate was $590 for one night? That place is a dumpster, but had no choice. Thankfully they will refund the money.

The desk staff wasnt super friendly. The fridge or something around the tv made tons of noise all night. You could hear the foot steps from up stairs loudly. The patio was gross.
We booked the hotel mainly because it had a \"working\" pool and hot tub
The pool was freezing and had a smell
The hot tub edges were gross and you couldnt see at all and the steps were horrible and we almost fell in.
Overall very upset with our stay.

We had to move rooms once because the balcony door did not lock. We were moved no problem but wound up in the basement where the pool was. I cannot describe the smell. Pickles and chlorine? It was ghastly. Our shoes stuck to the floor. That being said, the beds were made nicely and the breakfast was decent!

Now that road construction is almost finished access to the hotel is excellent.
Nice and quiet with the property set back off the main road. The rooms on the backside have a little balcony that looks over onto a little lake. It was nice to sit out on.
The hotel itself is older but seems to be solid and well taken care of. Obviously renovated at some point in the not so distant past.
The room was in good shape and had typical furniture. Clean.
Front desk was friendly and helpful.
And for the price it overall was excellent. Only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because it isn't some fancy resort. But for the price it's definitely five stars.
I didn't eat breakfast or go swimming so no opinion there. I did walk around the pool area and it seemed nice.

I paid for a video producer to come from ohio to shoot a music video and i bought this room for HIM to stay in (not me) he drove 3 hrs anx they called me and said they wouldnt honor my stay and when i asked for a refund i was hung up on after i explained the situation. So i went and bought a room somewhere else and never was refunded i received no services what so ever..!

On check-in, front desk worker not dressed very professional nor very friendly. Front desk did not have change for laundry. Stained ceilings in room. Bottom of bathroom door in poor shape. Curved shower rod was bent down causing shower curtain to not close fully on ends. Fruit flies in room. Garbage outside on grass out of room patio door. Hallway carpet dirty looking. No elevator. Linens were clean, though and bed was comfortable.

Would have gave 5 stars but there was a god awful smell coming from the mini fridge. Hated that. Opened the balcony door for an hour or two to try and clear it out, but it persisted. Other than that the stay was solid. I’m in a hotel multiple times every week all over the country and only ever review if I have a complaint worthy enough to say something, or the stay was exceptionally great. The pillows were perfect, the bed was soft, shower was good, balcony is a nice touch. Other than the smell radiating from the mini fridge the room was nice. Thanks

I stay here often. Always clean and quiet. Staff is always friendly and helpful. It is an older establishment but is in good repair. I've seen a lot of grumbling on other reviews of the cost of a room during graduation weekend. The higher cost has nothing to do with staff and yes you are going to pay a premium cost for a room during grad weekend or little 5 week and thats just simple supply and demand. There were 20k students that graduated this last graduation in 2025. There are not enough rooms/air bnbs in a 50 mile area for all the families that want to attend. If the prices are gross blame the city for not doing more to land more hotels ease the strain. Also if you know your family member is going to graduate in 2026 and you want a cheap room book it now because even if you think you are ok and you'll get a cheap room at a 2 star in January you are already too late.

After our 1 day stay I reported the room I was in and especially the pool and hot tub to the Indiana State Department of Health. There is no way the hot tub would pass a health inspection. No towels in the pool area. You must take the towel from your room? Even the desk attendant was unkept and inattentive. This hotel might be ok for local construction workers but not for tourist or visitors. More than one person outside smoking pot which make the property smell like pot. By all means never take a child to the facility. Spend a little extra and get a safe clean hotel. Especially if you are with your wife and children.

We canceled the room immediately after entering and looking around. Counter tops sticky and dirty.

Linens stained with bodily fluids. Signs of bedbugs on the sheets and mattresses.

Pool had a film on it and hot tub had brown murky water.

Front desk was rude on entering and leaving. Would not refund our stay and currently dealing with both expedia and quality inn on getting a refund.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very warm and inviting and delicious. I had to inform the front desk that there was no shampoo in the shower and I found a small screw in the bottom of the tub n there was a problem with the toilet running constantly. I noticed there were mildew stains at the bottom of the shower curtain. I had stayed for 2 nights and upon getting to my room the second night I noticed the bed was not made the towels were not freshened n the trash was not taken out. It was just disappointing getting to my room after a long day out n wanting to jump into a freshly made bed and it wasn’t done

Our room was not clean. One of the beds had multiple stains on the comforter and a hole from probably a cigarette. One pillow case was stained. There was a huge red/ brown stain on the mattress showing through the fitted sheet. The bed skirt had several spots of a thick brown substance on it. It looked absolutely filthy! There were a couple small pieces of glass on the floor beside the bed and the wall and a brown/red stain too. The whole floor left the bottom of our socks dirty. The curtain had rips in it. Our room also had an old stale smell. The hotel in general appears old. The hallways are very dingy and dark with dirty carpet and a stale smell. The only redeeming quality was the breakfast - it was nice to have waffles! We would never stay here again nor would we recommend it to anyone!

Jesse checked me in. It was painful. He stared for a very long time at my driver’s license, holding it close. Was he high or did he have poor eyesight? Initially told me that he couldn’t find my reservation. Long pause. I told him I got a confirmation. He did find it. I was not happy that hotel did not have an elevator, I started dragging my suitcase up the stairs, another patron offered to help, and did. While I ate breakfast the next morning, I did enjoy a waffle, but the two bins for biscuits and whatever was next to it were empty and never refilled in the time I was there. I do appreciate a hot breakfast, so at least I got hot waffles and a toasted bagel I made myself. But I did get an affordable good nights sleep, and that was what I needed

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality for a $70 per night stay. Comfortable beds, the place seems like its from the 1980's but its refurbished nicely. The pool was better than expected and really no complaints. Better than expected for the price and a bit of a European feel inside.

I did like the front entrance look it has. But what I didn't like was the outside security light wasn't working it would flick on and off leaving the entrance closest to my room dark and very unsafe feeling. Also I wasn't happy about the breakfast I would definitely not recommend it there was no hot breakfast at all and the pancakes and waffles tasted like rubber.

The property has been well kept. Everything looked great. Room 211 has a broken tile in the bathroom right at the toilet.
The outdoor safety lights are broken and need to be repaired.
The spa hot tub was broken.

Check in staff was nice and helpful, but the hotel itself really needs some updates and deep cleaning. The biggest bummer was that the hot tub was broken, especially after looking forward to it after a long drive. The main pool temp was fine, but the water looked so dirty that none of us wanted to get in. Breakfast was fine. Overall, it served its purpose for a quick one-night trip, but we'll stay somewhere different next time.
