The door lock is not secure. The fridge is old and beat up. All the furniture looks very outdated. Even the lamp shades are stained and cracked. The outside of the hotel looks abandoned, dirty, no landscaping, the sign is damaged. GFI plug is broken, couldn't use microwave. Room smelled musty and smokey.

HORRIBLE. We travled 6 hours to walk into a none smoking room with our 3 children and highly reeked of cigharettes. I sprayed fabreeze, tried to deal with it, already irritated about the condition of the room after a long car ride, and decided to go to bed. Pulled back the covers and 20 or so roaches scattered. I freaked out, grabbed my kids and our things and we left. The office didnt seem to care. And said they would not refund us our money being that we had been there for 2 hours already and that was against their policy. We went and stayed down the street at best western. I will NEVER step foot in that parking lot.

Horrible. We ended up leaving a day early. There were roaches everywhere. On the floor, in the toilet. They scurried when the lights came on. Tune place was filthy. It was used more for residences than guests. They're was open air drug use. Our smoke alarm needed maintenance and they came and took time whole detector out of the room and did not bring it back. The cops banged loudly on the neighbor's door at 3AM, waking us up, and then end up taking him to jail. That same neighbor was a resident. We ended up leaving early because we did not feel like it was a safe environment.

It was a week of work but the people at the roadway inn made me feel at home and were there to help with any problems
I would recommend this hotel Over the others I have stayed that I’ve stayed in . I will be back next week or in two weeks and then another two weeks after that it was a great place to stay. Thank you very much for making me feel it on.

Non-smoking rooms reeked of cigarettes and marijuana, all furniture was heavily worn, stained, and smelled like bad body odor. Cockroaches everywhere. It looked like the rooms aren’t ever actually cleaned other than putting on different sheets. Lots of permanent residents hanging around outside of rooms and in parking areas, staring at anyone coming and going. Even the lobby smelled terrible and was partially closed due to a water leak in the ceiling. I don’t understand how this place hasn’t been condemned by the city and torn down.

As an ultimate last resort. Other than that DO NOT STAY. Room was totally disgusting. Roaches and grasshoppers everywhere in room. Smell when walked in was rancid. Bedding was beyond gross. Found 'whip it" shells under bed along with other drug paraphernalia. Very dark and dingy. Wasn't able to sleep because we had to watch our vehicles all night because of "people" loitering in the parking lots and looking into vehicles I know it's cheap and you get what you paid for but this was beyond. Ended up leaving way early just because unsafe feeling.

Sexual assaults happen on this property apparently? Lots of yelling outside. Management knocking on doors to ask if I who is the person who was secually assaulted. Of course, I then felt unsafe the remainder of the stay. Lights, microwave, and TV remote don't work. Rooms unclean, carpets stained, SO MUCH hair in the bathroom, dead bugs. Not a good experience, moving hotels today for the remaining week of my stay. Staff insufficiently trained, guests blamed for not having full information that wasn't communicated.

There was a dirty sock in my room from previous, a flashlight under the chair. The chain on the door had what looked to be gorilla glue all over it. There was blood on the wall. In room 256 and my friends in 258 there was blood and hair on the walls. There were stains all over the sheets. The air conditioner did not cool well.

In major need up repair and maintenance. No extra towels were available for my family. Had to goto Walmart to purchase face towelas and bath towels. When asked for trash bags to take out our trash. I was only give 1 back for a room with 2 cans. We use whatever grocery bags we had. An expensive lesson learned.

before COVID, my son and I stayed at this location for several years (2010-2019) when we came to Schlitterbahn. Now that COVID seems to have settled down we decided to relive some good memories but was very disappointed for the property has gone downhill I guess due to change in management. We checked in at 630pm and our room was extremely hot. It took 8 hours before it became somewhat comfortable. Roaches (6) were found crawling around the lavatory and bathtub. This really concerns me for do I now have roaches that have come home with me.

We got a non smoking room and the room smelled like smoke. On the door it even says non smoking room and it smelled like smoke. We told the front desk and they said this is what the housekeepers use to fragrance the room. We know what smoke smells like. I think housekeeper probably try to get rid of the smell but once it’s in the couch, chair, mattress and rug it can’t eliminate the odor. Also our air conditioner was not working. We put the temperature down to 60 all night it kept running and at times waking up sweating. It s too bad because the rooms are really are nice. But you got to have an air conditioning working. Also a non smoking room should not smell like smoke.

This motel is a scam. It is a bait and switch. The photos show there being a hot tub but it is filled with concrete. The photos show a large lobby with breakfast buffet. No lobby exists and definitely no breakfast at all. The photos show them cleaning but our room had fresh blood, ejaculation and hair on the sheets on both beds. They were clearly just remade, not washed. There was also no coffee maker in this room. We moved to another room and bothe the fridge and microwave didnt work, not to mention they were covered in mold. We had food in our cooler and needed to use the fridge. We also had leftovers we wanted to heat up. They have a big sign that says no refunds. And a hand painted one that says you park here at your own risk. The listing made it look so nice. I chose this one over several in that area of the same price because of the hot tub and larger breakfast. I regret that. I could have had a clean hotel and somewhat of a breakfast anywhere else! So beware! Stay at travel lodge, days inn, studio 6, anywhere but there. They lied and told expedia that i never rose any complaints at all, which I did! They even had a maintenance man come up. So I am unable to get a refund for all rhe false advertising. I do not recommend this place at all and expedia should not have rhem on their platform anymore!!

Annoyed and surprised at the type of hotel offered. Not recommended for any reason to stay.

I share with you my experience on January 7, 2023.

1.- I requested a NO SMOKING room, and when I entered the room it smelled too much of cigarettes.
2.- the first thing I saw in the room was a cockroach on the refrigerator and another one in the toilet.
3.- the amenities of coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator in a dirty and bad looking condition. Do not use them at all.
4.- sheets and pillows with cigarette burn holes.
5.- a/c equipment did not work properly.

In short not recommended to use this hotel unless it is your last choice.

The property was fine. It's not luxury resort, but I just wanted a night's sleep before an early morning race I was in town for. The staff was great, friendly, fast. The room was clean and large! even the full-size fridge surprised me. It was the neighboring room occupants that never went to sleep that I could hear talking outside and in their room. They never shut the TV off. The insolation between the rooms is very poor. I left at 4am just to get some sleep in my truck before the race.

The room was infested with large crickets. The microwave had to be plugged in the bathroom because it wouldn't work in the outlet in the main room. The ice machine on my side of the building was broken. The pool was closed for the season despite the fact that it was 90 degrees outside. The management hardly spoke English and weren't friendly at all. The bolt on the door was broken. The bed was hard as a rock. I got charged twice as much for paying online ahead of time than my friend, who paid when she arrived. The only good thing about this place was they had a normal sized refrigerator in the room for food and there's plenty of places to eat and shop next door.

Hotel could be cleaner and it’s every dated. Me and my fiancé woke up to bug bites this morning after staying multiple nights with no issues. People were partying and screaming until the late hours. Our room was non smoking but you could smell cigarettes. The smell of marijuana was pretty strong throughout the hotel rooms. The woman at the front desk isn’t friendly. I had to go get toilet paper late at night and the man working questioned me if I had paid my pet fees or not. The hotel did the trick by giving us a place to sleep but we weren’t in our room until night time.

On the Rode again.

The motel was a little dated but the room served its purpose. I was looking for a clean bed and a hot shower and that's what I got. Staff was cordial. Insulated walls would've been nice so I wouldn't have had to listen to the guest in the next room yell every vulgarity know to man as he played his video game. Definitely Reflection of the Price

Made a last minute trip to NB. Didn't want to pay $200+ I was seeing for other motels. Saw pictures of Rodeway Inn. It is NOTHING like the photos. My room was non-smoking but reeked of smoke. The carpets were filthy and needed to be ripped up. There was not any extra safety features on the door, i.e., chain, dead bolt, etc.... My room had a door that lead to an adjoining room. A rolling chair was in front of it. That didn't make me feel safe. The ceiling tiles in the vanity area had been moved around and some had holes. I was paranoid someone had put a camera up there. I requested a room on the ground floor since I had surgery and wanted to avoid stairs. My room was on the second floor. When I said something to the man at the front desk, he just shrugged. I am glad they read the special instructions/requests made. My room was up stairs next to a stairwell with no lighting and close to a corner; it was super dark . The only thing that helped was at night, the outside lights lit up, so it wasn't quite as dark. I didn't try the pool, but there were several guests out there. The area around the hotel was run down, and fence separated the Motel 6 behind it.
