On arrival it wasn't exactly clean but then day after daily clean was great, Staff is friendly but one in particular was had a communication breakdown. Balcony and view was amazing but the neighbours was making noises a few times even once late at night waking us up 3am. Hot tub was great.

Cons side is the ceiling shower and a body shower was bad, wasn't strong and leaking. Not alot of food options in the hotel area. Mainly bathroom is an issue. Bed was rock hard but didn’t exactly bothered us, yellow stain on the pillow was already there after they cleaned the room and they lefted the equipment in the jacuzzi twice.

Part of us felt the money we spent on this holiday isn't 100% worth it if we’re honest.

Our stay was absolutely top-notch. The views cannot be beaten. It's outside of the \"busy\" areas and was perfect to get to enjoy a much slower pace. You will need to rent a vehicle to get around from here. The concierge was amazing. Anything we wanted to do was arranged within minutes. Transport from our ferry and then to the airport was first class and on time. We could not have felt more pampered.

The views from the poolside were amazing! Lovely little pool with comfy sunbeds to chill.
We paid the extra €10 for breakfast which was worth it and also ate there in the evening for the sunset views - food was average quality, more expensive than other restaurants in Megalochori but you're getting the sunset view.
The hotel arranged airport pickup and drop off at the port with Marcos for €40 per journey.
Free bottle of water in the fridge on arrival and a payable mini bar & snacks.
Would definitely recommend this hotel, it was perfect for our one night stay before catching the ferry to other islands.

While the overall stay was good, I cannot give a full 5 stars due to a few reasons.

Firstly, the staff was very friendly, including the manager Sophia. The view from our honeymoon suite was beautiful and exactly like the pictures online. However, there were a few important issues that made the stay less enjoyable.

• Cost of Taxi Transfers / Hidden Costs

I highly recommend not booking airport transportation through the hotel. An Uber ended up being significantly cheaper than what we were charged for a simple 12-minute drive. It came to almost $70 CAD, which is unreasonable for such a short trip.

On our way back to the airport after checkout, Grand View arranged another ride for us through an external company since we had an early flight. The driver arrived 10 minutes late and then demanded cash payment on the spot. Since it was our last day in Europe, we did not have enough cash left. He then made us walk to an ATM, where we had to pay an additional $20 in ATM fees on top of the already expensive ride.

After bringing this concern to Grand View’s attention, I was simply told they were unaware cash was required and then wished a safe flight, which felt dismissive considering the situation.

• Ants in the Room

While the room itself was generally clean, we noticed a large number of ants beside the bed (photo attached). After informing management, the area was cleaned and sprayed, but the ants returned again the following morning. The room was cleaned a second time, and thank

I loved staying at Grand View Hotel for Three nights. It is a fentastic experience and mind blowing views, you can enjoy sunset daily from hotel pool area while lots of others travel to Oia or other top hills for sunset. Breakfast was amaging, staff was friendly and helpful. Room was big enough for 4 of us, 2A and 2C. A free parking available on site which is add-on. I will def''ly recommend this to friends and would love to stay again here.

We were very happy with our room overlooking the caldera. We had a fairly basic room selected to keep the vacation costs down, but were not disappointed at all. Our balcony had a great view of the pool and sunset, and the hotel is located far enough off the main street to be very quiet at night. We also rented a car and found Megalochori to be an ideal location, central enough to get to Oia, Fira, and Akrotiri quickly. If you prefer riding the bus there is a bus stop right down the road, a quick and easy walk. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with plenty of options for any taste. If our travels bring us back to Santorini I will stay here again.

Absolutely fabulous. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a better hotel. Did Jacuzzi the view the food everything was just wonderful. The location is great too. It’s off the beaten path and a little less touristy like the other areas. Be sure to explore the local area there are a couple wineries and a cultural center there. All the employees on the property were extra nice. Great food. I wish I was there still.

Such a beautiful trip, and after touring the island we’re really glad we stayed here for a good blend of privacy with views but accessibility to Megalachori!

We arrived at Grand View after having a bad experience at another place. What a difference we had here. The lady on reception (Sophia I think) was so welcoming and informative. We booked some activities with her. She had info about the island, beaches, places to eat and then got staff to show us to our room and take our luggage. The room was amazing. Spotless and spacious. The views were incredible and the balcony was a perfect finishing touch. We spent 3 nights in the lux suite and 3 nights in the honeymoon suite. Both were amazing so I'd recommend either. The staff were always on hand and couldn't do enough; from front desk, to cleaners, restaurant staff and maintenance. I didn't get the guys name who runs the pool bar and restaurant but he is an asset to the hotel. One of the best experiences of customer care, hospitality and their amazing use of the property they have. If I come back to Santorini, this is where I am staying. Take my advice and book here.

I stayed in Grand View for 6 nights in which I received the most impeccable hospitality! Management were very helpful when coming to any inquiries I had about the area (Megalochori) alongside booking activities. The staff always met me with a smile on their faces and a positive attitude throughout my stay, especially the cleaners that went above and beyond even in times I would not request for my room to be cleaned. The hotel couldn’t be in another perfect spot; you can view the sunset from the hotel alongside the whole landscape of Santorini which was absolutely mesmerising! I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone considering booking, it’s truly an experience in Santorini you wouldn’t want to miss out on!

This elegant hotel boasts breathtaking views of the water and surrounding landscape, set in an exceptional location. The rooms are impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, featuring tasteful interiors and well-appointed bathrooms stocked with all essential amenities, including soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The shower experience was particularly enjoyable.

One of the highlights of the stay was the breakfast, which was simply outstanding. The spread offered an impressive variety of options from fresh fruits and baked goods to hot, freshly prepared dishes catering to a wide range of tastes. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making breakfast a delightful way to start each day.

The staff were consistently warm, professional, and welcoming, contributing greatly to an overall pleasant stay. Guests can relax by the pool, which is surrounded by ample seating an ideal spot to soak in the natural beauty and admire the stunning sunsets.

The hotel also assisted with arranging a rental car, and the entire process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is a small intimate hotel, but the more superior rooms (e.g. those with a hot tub) have great privacy and stunning views. Our hot tub was perfectly heated throughout our stay, which was needed given the weather this time of year can be variable. The staff were super friendly, professional and accommodating, always available via WhatsApp to help arrange transfers/lifts across the island at short notice. Given taxis on the island are few and far between, and we were drinking vinsanto most days, this was invaluable - the only alternative would be car rental and considerably less vinsanto!

The hotel is a great location for the best vineyards on the island, and very convenient for both Fira, Oia and the airport.

All in all, a lovely modern, convenient hotel, with great staff and incredible views. Would stay again!

I absolutely loved my stay at Grand View. It was clean, the staff was beyond helpful. Sophia reached out ahead of time and answered questions I had. They arranged tours and transportation if you needed it. The food was amazing. Breakfast was fresh and there was always someone there to help. They even deliver my breakfast to my room the first morning. The drinks, yum! The view is spectacular. I plan to come back to Santorini and will stay again. It’s walking distance to the village, a must do! Eddie was the driver from the resort and if he was busy, they would call a service for transportation. Fito, made the best drinks. I highly recommend. Th room were clean and charming and they had a variety of rooms and suites. I don’t think any had a bad view.

Had to split our stay between the Superior Double room and the Jacuzzi Luxe suite. Quite a difference between the 2 rooms. I would not stay in the smaller Superior Double again…. A bit too small and the tiny shower stall only had a handheld device, no overhead shower head. The Luxe suite was great with living room area and huge balcony with hot tub. Overall, a very nice facility and great staff all around.

Grand View says it all

Grand View describes this place perfectly. It is the view that makes this place special! The room was fine. The hot tub was warm. The location is good and gave us the chance to explore a different section of the island. Staff was friendly. We were there off season with a few early season hiccups. Room was not initially set up for 3 but only two. Shampoo and soap containers were not all full. Our room circuit breaker went off several times and had to be reset. Not sure why. It was extremely windy. These things probably contributed to the room being cold at night. Only got to have breakfast 1 of the two days since we had to leave for the airport very early. Breakfast was okay. Some items were limited and cold by the time we got down to breakfast.

They made sure to clean the room and provide us a fresh water every day. They provided us transfers where needed and they brought the rental car agency to us where we expressed wanting to rent a car. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Everything about this hotel was amazing and the staff went above and beyond every time for us. We even booked a catamaran excursion through the hotel ony husband's birthday and they surprised him by sending a cake on the excursion with us for him. Would give 10 stars if I could. An absolutely amazing experience staying with Grand view and would definitely come back.

The Grand View Resort met, and then exceeded all of my expectations. We had only a short time on Santorini, but the staff at Grand View did everything to ensure this was easy, comfortable and fun. They arranged transportation, had good recommendations and were very accommodating. The hotel is gorgeous.

We enjoyed the honeymoon suite. It was very private with our own deep hot tub. That was a perfect temperature. Did not expect them to Have lunch and dinner available for purchase Mike was an excellent waiter and we enjoyed dinner overlooking the Calera and sunset from our own balcony. Lovely people.

Excellent hotel with amazing views

Excellent hotel with amazing views, particularly of the sunsets over the caldera. We had a deluxe suite which had a jucuzzi on balcony. Welcome bottle of Prosecco & grapes on arrival. Staff were very friendly & helpful. They also have food available all day, which was lovely sat by the pool or overlooking the caldera.

Beautiful hotel, location and great staff.

Excellent stay in what felt like a boutique hotel. We had paid extra for the villa for our short stay and it was amazing. Some photos do not show that it now has a hot tub. Very clean and I have to mention that the staff seem to be a really good team. Breakfast and the food in general were full of flavor and up there with the best food we had. You don’t need to go sunset hunting here.

The view was great but they need to do better with the hotel interior design and furniture. Chris was very warm and friendly. She does a good job of hospitality. The breakfast was the same everyday. The hotel was clean and quiet. Room service till 11pm, food was great. No restaurants or shops around the place.

The staff were so nice, friendly and helpful. We really liked Sofia the lady who was working at te reception . She was very nice, professional and knowledgable about Santorini. The breakfasts were amazing and a bit different everyday.
The hotel was nice ,cozy with amazing view. The sunset was exactly the same as Oia's. The only thing we did not like was the shared bathroom in our 2 bedroom suite that was accessible only from one of the rooms.
