This is a small intimate hotel, but the more superior rooms (e.g. those with a hot tub) have great privacy and stunning views. Our hot tub was perfectly heated throughout our stay, which was needed given the weather this time of year can be variable. The staff were super friendly, professional and accommodating, always available via WhatsApp to help arrange transfers/lifts across the island at short notice. Given taxis on the island are few and far between, and we were drinking vinsanto most days, this was invaluable - the only alternative would be car rental and considerably less vinsanto!

The hotel is a great location for the best vineyards on the island, and very convenient for both Fira, Oia and the airport.

All in all, a lovely modern, convenient hotel, with great staff and incredible views. Would stay again!

I absolutely loved my stay at Grand View. It was clean, the staff was beyond helpful. Sophia reached out ahead of time and answered questions I had. They arranged tours and transportation if you needed it. The food was amazing. Breakfast was fresh and there was always someone there to help. They even deliver my breakfast to my room the first morning. The drinks, yum! The view is spectacular. I plan to come back to Santorini and will stay again. It’s walking distance to the village, a must do! Eddie was the driver from the resort and if he was busy, they would call a service for transportation. Fito, made the best drinks. I highly recommend. Th room were clean and charming and they had a variety of rooms and suites. I don’t think any had a bad view.

We visited in March and the weather was cold and very windy. We had a Jacuzzi suite which never got warmer than a cool bathtub. The lounge chairs were comfortable but very low to the ground and difficult to get out of.
The staff was very accommodating and the resort was very well kept. Spectacular views!

We spent absolutely lovely time staying at Grand View hotel. Our room was cozy and comfortable, serviced every day (fresh towels, cleaning). The caldera view from the hotel is spectacular! Sofia and Eddy are very friendly and supportive. We used public transportation instead of rental car. The bus stop is located just in 5 minutes walk. We definitely recommend Grand View hotel!

The ocean view from our room and pool area is absolutely stunning. Perfect spot for sunset! Sophia and Eddie and crew are very helpful regarding our airport transportation (midnight flight), car rental requests, and recommendations about Santorini. We took the sailing cruise (5 hours including open bar and lunch), it was so perfect in late Oct. the swim in water was refreshing and the view during the entire trip is breathtaking. Highly recommended.

Had to split our stay between the Superior Double room and the Jacuzzi Luxe suite. Quite a difference between the 2 rooms. I would not stay in the smaller Superior Double again…. A bit too small and the tiny shower stall only had a handheld device, no overhead shower head. The Luxe suite was great with living room area and huge balcony with hot tub. Overall, a very nice facility and great staff all around.

Sophia was an excellent manager! She is very attentive and is willing to cater to your every need. We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The suite was absolutely beautiful and pristine. The serenity of the views was on par to a slice of heaven! Thank you to all of the staff for a fabulous stay and look forward to seeing you all again. Let me mention the breakfast was very good as well and the direct access to the pool was a perk we enjoyed. Majestic view and the sunset view from the pool side makes this property very unique. Being away from the center of the town and away from crowds makes this property an ideal romantic getaway. I think this is the best place to view the sunset, away from the crowds at IOS.

Grand View is the perfect place to stay in Santorini. It is picturesque, quiet, and a great place to relax and be surrounded by beauty. Grand View describes this place perfectly. It is the view that makes this place special! The room was fine. The hot tub was warm. The location is good and gave us the chance to explore a different section of the island. Staff was friendly. We were there off season with a few early season hiccups. Room was not initially set up for 3 but only two. Shampoo and soap containers were not all full. Our room circuit breaker went off several times and had to be reset. Not sure why. It was extremely windy. These things probably contributed to the room being cold at night. Only got to have breakfast 1 of the two days since we had to leave for the airport very early. Breakfast was okay. Some items were limited and cold by the time we got down to breakfast.

Unforgettable Santorini stay

I can see why this place has nearly all five star reviews on every rating. The staff are absolutely incredible - Sofia and Marcos and Eddie were wonderful throughout the stay. Sofia helped answer all my questions without worry and Marcos was the kindest, even helping ease my sadness when I left something behind in Oia I could not get back. The hotel is sparkling and I could see them constantly keeping hot tubs and pool areas tidy. 10/10 stars to the delicious breakfast with sweet pumpkin cake, carrot and orange breads, and banana smoothie! The view is unforgettable. This hotel is worth every penny!

This property was the best I've ever stayed at. The room was great. Off the bat they decorated for our honeymoon free of charge. They made sure to clean the room and provide us a fresh water every day. They provided us transfers where needed and they brought the rental car agency to us where we expressed wanting to rent a car. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Everything about this hotel was amazing and the staff went above and beyond every time for us. We even booked a catamaran excursion through the hotel ony husband's birthday and they surprised him by sending a cake on the excursion with us for him. Would give 10 stars if I could. An absolutely amazing experience staying with Grand view and would definitely come back.

We enjoyed the honeymoon suite. It was very private with our own deep hot tub. That was a perfect temperature. Did not expect them to Have lunch and dinner available for purchase Mike was an excellent waiter and we enjoyed dinner overlooking the Calera and sunset from our own balcony. Lovely people.

Excellent hotel with amazing views, particularly of the sunsets over the caldera. We had a deluxe suite which had a jucuzzi on balcony. Welcome bottle of Prosecco & grapes on arrival. Staff were very friendly & helpful. They also have food available all day, which was lovely sat by the pool or overlooking the caldera.

Beautiful hotel, location and great staff.

Excellent stay in what felt like a boutique hotel. We had paid extra for the villa for our short stay and it was amazing. Some photos do not show that it now has a hot tub. Very clean and I have to mention that the staff seem to be a really good team. Breakfast and the food in general were full of flavor and up there with the best food we had. You don’t need to go sunset hunting here.

The hotel was nice ,cozy with amazing view. The sunset was exactly the same as Oia's. The only thing we did not like was the shared bathroom in our 2 bedroom suite that was accessible only from one of the rooms.

This was a really nice option to stay in Santorini if you don't want the hustle & bustle of Oia or First all the time. The views are so spectacular! I would strongly recommend renting a car to be able to get around easily - 2 min to amazing bakery and supermarket, 10 min to Perissa beach (soft black sand), 5-10 min to many wineries (one winery right next door). We drove to Fira and Oia different days, parked outside of the villages in the large parking lots and walked around all day.

We had an excellent time at the Grandview hotel! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in finding us things to do and wineries to go to. They also helped arrange transfer to our next hotel for a very fair price. But that doesn’t even start the best part! When they say grand view, it is truly a grand view. The pool is exceptional and overlooks the amazing caldera. They also have an excellent pool bar with good food and reasonably priced drinks. We only spent one night at this hotel, but wished we would have spent more, the pool is incredible.

Family Room stay in the Grand View

We initially stayed in the private villa for 2 nights which was amazing and exceeded our expectations (barring the hillside cats who visit for food. They were quite cute in the end and didn’t at all spoil our stay but we just didn’t expect this addition to the property).
We wanted an extra night but it was booked so we ended up in the family room. It was smaller than hoped with no living room area. Okay for a pit stop but not ideal for days relaxing and not enough room for 4 people other than to sleep. Quite surprised that breakfast was also reduced according to the room grade but it was still tasty.
But the hotel has a lovely family feel, the people are so friendly and humble and we absolutely hope to visit the villa again.
The receptionist who greeted us, gave us a map and explained Santorini is first class. The driver was also really helpful. But special thanks to the housekeeper who gave us plenty of water for the room, Nicos who was a joy to speak to and professional, Eva, who is just so professional and an absolute joy and the waiter with the nose ring whose name I didn’t catch really made our stay. He was so kind and gracious.
The Grand View is definitely worth the visit and is reasonably well situated. Just choose the right room for your family size.

Hotel has sime amazing views from pool side sunset time is beautiful. The breakfast was lovely every morning and the service from the staff was faultless they couldn't do enough for you. The recent vacation that myself and two other women in their 60s had on Santorini was wonderful. Our accommodations at the Grandview were very comfortable, very clean and unique. The rooms are large with breathtaking views from our rooms and the pool/patio area. The other guests were a mix of couples, young families and singles, like ourselves. All very friendly and all very happy with the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The location of the hotel was very close to the bus stop, making it very easy to get to where we wanted to go. The village of Megalohori was in walking distance and very safe even at night. The staff were all very pleasant and extremely helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and answered all our questions right away. I would definitely back to the Grand View and would recommend it to anyone.

Best views of the caldera and sunset

Andreas, Dina and the rest of the staff made us feel super welcome during our stay. We had a room with outside jacuzzi and the view was absolutely amazing. The hotel also has sweeping views of the sunset over the sea, which can be a bit tricky to get at other spots on the island due to the islands opposite. There’s a lovely little village about 10 minutes walk away for lunch and dinner, or get the Greek salad and sit by the pool. It’s in a quieter part of Santorini to Thira overlooking the Caldera, but you can get nearly anywhere within 30 minutes car or quad bike.

The lovely lady who worked every Day in the bar serving from midday to late evening was wonderful so friendly couldn’t do more for you, Andreas the manager was also the same! Couldn’t do more for us was very accommodating. Overall a very enjoyable stay. The hotel isn’t walking to anywhere so I would recommend hireing a quad bike. Best way to get around the whole island, this was all arranged by the hotel an delivered to us there. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet due to covid they either bought to your room or you could have outside by the pool. It was a large selection of continental which we were happy to have. Overall very good stay.

The hotel is clean. The first night we bought food and took it to the pool area, we were told we could not eat outside food their. If we wanted to have dinner with a view we had to buy the food they sell there. Which was a limited selection and not very authentic Greek food. That was disappointing.
