We loved our stay. We took a tour around the island and we both agreed our view was the best. Had a personal tour guide to show us around the island and he was great but definitely pick your time wisely and pay in advance. We added more time to our tour and when we got back they would not let us charge it. We had to use the ATM on site and pay cash. 4 hours is enough time for this tour and the wine tasting at the end was amazing. NATALIA is the best bartender. Her cocktails are amazing and shes wonderful. Would definitely return to this place.

There was a lovely lady at the reception who greeted us with orange juice and provided all the important information we needed about Santorini. She looked after us well, we had the best room in the hotel and it was fabulous with the amazing view. They suggested dinner at Charlina with free transport, they treated us like royalty. Gave amazing food with a complimentary dessert and wine. The breakfast was nice with the amazing caldera view. Location was not in the busy place. Everything was phenomenal at this hotel. We were looked after really well. I would suggest to my friends and family to visit this wonderful hotel. Thank you Receptionist Letica you looked after us really well. George, you were amazing too. We loved you as our driver who took us everywhere and gave us important information. We had a relaxing, beautiful and romantic trip.

The female who checked us in tried to offer us a basic room and only after much objection did we get something similar to what we paid for and booked so we were not happy but accepted as we didnt want to spoil our holiday.
This female continued to be a problem so we blocked her, everyone else in the hotel were wonderful from the General Manager down to the Cleaning team. Sadly lots of the facilities were closed as they were not set up for the season and nothing is a walk away. We did have pretty decent breakfasts each day and Eri in the restaurant is very helpful but we were the only guests for dinner when we booked and the Sky was not always open The location is lovely and the views incredible. The General Manager needs a special mention, he's a real asset and always with a smile.

The staff were amazing and friendly, the room was incredible and the location is breathtaking. It's a perfect location for a break from the buzz of a city. The little town of Megalochori is a short walk and beautiful. We ventured into Fira a couple of times and the taxis were about €20-25 from the hotel.

A few things reviews told us that were true, and some may not like, is the pool is not heated at all - or it wasn't whilst we were there. The other thing is the pool bar does play music from about mid-morning until evening, which may not be to people's liking.

The only, little disappointment we had was with the cleanliness of the pools, which were a little dirty during the week. Not dirty enough to not swim in, but just needed a clean.

We would stay here again though. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Our stay at the Suites of the Gods was wonderful. The highlight has to be the stunning infinity pool overlooking the caldera — photos don’t do it justice.

The location couldn’t be more convenient. It’s perfectly situated to explore the entire island — just a short drive to Fira and the black sand beaches — yet still feels private and serene.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with recommendations or arrangements, making our stay effortless. We had stayed there the year prior as well and the staff gave us a complimentary room upgrade - which was much appreciated! And, they will arrange for scooters or atvs to be delivered directly to the hotel (quite convenient!)

If you’re visiting Santorini and want a mix of luxury, convenience, and unforgettable scenery, the Suites of the Gods is a perfect choice. We can’t wait to come back!

The property was like walking into “lifestyles of the rich and famous”. The view was breathtaking and every day we were amazed by the Caldera view. The infinity pool area was the hub of relaxation with a well equipped restaurant and bar with excellent service and excellent live music. We got to know the staff and they were terrific, friendly, and fast. The room itself was epic…like walking into a well appointed cave suite with a giant tub! We walked out of our room stepped right onto the pool deck with an epic view of the Santorini Caldera. Food was fresh, excellently prepared, and delicious. Our first day we ate at the hotel restaurant overlooking the Caldera, and for our last day, we chose the Hotel restaurant again because it was the best food we had and the service and quieter atmosphere were more special for our anniversary. Our server, Crisanti, was helpful, cheerful and became a friend by the end of the trip. The front desk staff was cheerful and helpful. The spa was convenient and Margarita at the spa was a terrific. I would go back anytime. The location, amenities and staff helped make it the most relaxing vacation I’ve had in a long time and a special anniversary trip!

We arrived early in the morning and were grateful we had arranged the hotel shuttle in advance—highly recommended if you’re not renting a car. The drive from the airport was brief, just 10 to 15 minutes, and cost under 25 euros. From the moment we walked through the doors, the warmth of the front desk staff stood out. Andriana, in particular, was incredibly kind and managed to have our room ready by 12:45 p.m.—a gesture we truly appreciated after arriving around 9 a.m. While we waited, we enjoyed breakfast with a stunning view, and spent time in the lobby, it was remarkable to watch how gracefully the front desk team handled each guest’s needs, always with a smile. Their hospitality was genuinely unmatched. Our suite was clean, quiet, and comfortable. In the afternoons, music from the pool area filtered up to our room, sometimes accompanied by a live DJ. While it added to the vibrant atmosphere, it may be something to consider for those traveling with small children or seeking total silence. The pool was pristine and lively in the afternoons, offering a relaxed yet energetic vibe. Transportation around the island was easy to arrange, and the hotel’s drivers were courteous and helpful. That said, because the property is perched on a cliff, rides can become expensive. Thankfully, there’s a convenient bus stop right in front of the hotel. Will stay here again for the breathtaking sunsets!

Excellent ... don't listen to the negative reviews! Okay, not five star by UK or major European city standard but really great for view, facilities, location and standards.

Meal prices are slightly higher than I would pay but tbh you'll pay similar if not more in all other hotel restaurants. You really want to find local taverns anyway whilst you're out there and just a short walk or drive to Megalochori village will find you just that.

The gym is small but reasonably well equipped, the pool is fantastic, just ask to not be roomed in any of the 1xx rooms: 2, 3, 4 etc better. But tbh, the music doesn't start until after breakfast anyway and you SHOULD be up and out by then anyway!!

The spa still wasn't fullly up this past weekend though so, if you are expecting that, book somewhere else. But the masseur will come to your room. I would say though that the massage prices are high compared to what you can get elsewhere on the island.

That aside, we loved it and would definitely consider thos place again. The staff, Theo and Letisia were great, really conscientious and helpful.

This place is fabulous value and very recommended!

This was a beautiful property high up on the mountainside. It was just as the pictures showed.

The staff were wonderful on the property. For breakfast every morning we really enjoyed talking with the waiter, he was great and the food and drinks were very good.

The transportation is a challenge on this island but with the help of the front desk we were able to rent a car and it was fun driving around the island, visiting all the places we wanted. In town we walked a lot. It was great

The only downside was the big pool was emptied due to the recent earthquakes and so we couldn’t enjoy the beauty of the infinity pool, but that was a natural disaster not the fault of the hotel itself.

We would definitely stay here again, hopefully with the pool next time!

My Husband and I visited this location between Feb 8-14 for our 10yr Anniversary. Even though the island was evacuated because of the quakes our stay here was phenomenal! Theradore was excellent. The first night we landed we had fear and with his excellent service he had us feel “at home” and that transitioned through the entire stay. Lateshia Was so sweet and kind to us as well. I will be booking this location to visit again in September. Room was clean, food was amazing and the views OMG THE VIEWS was spectacular. Heaven on earth. I recently had the opportunity to stay at Suites of the Gods Cave & Spa in Santorini from February 3 to 5, 2025. While Santorini itself is always a breathtaking destination, my visit was accompanied by an unexpected challenge—ongoing seismic activity. Despite the situation, my experience at the hotel remained memorable, and I’d like to share my honest review.

The Hotel & Atmosphere

The hotel’s location is stunning, offering panoramic caldera views that are truly unmatched. The architecture blends seamlessly with the island’s natural beauty, and the cave-style suites provide a unique, luxurious feel. However, the earthquakes did add a layer of unease to the experience. The tremors were noticeable, but the hotel’s structure felt solid, which provided some reassurance.

Room & Comfort

I stayed in a cave-style suite, which was spacious, elegantly decorated, and featured a private terrace overlooking the caldera. The ambiance was relaxing, and the in-room amenities were top-notch. That said, due to the ongoing tremors, some minor disturbances occurred—like occasional vibrations—but nothing alarming enough to force evacuation.

Staff & Service

The hotel staff was exceptionally professional and accommodating, especially considering the circumstances. They remained calm, reassured guests.

Our room was so nice with a wonderful view but to close to the parking and Main Street, we heard the noise of the cars and loud music coming from cars while parking in front of our room.

Also the receptionist didn’t mentioned that a public transportation is available about 2 min walking, he simply informed us that shuttles are available from the hotel to many touristic areas.

Breakfast was acceptable but below my expectations.

The view is phenomenal. Breathtaking. This is the silver lining. The property and its facilities are very outdated. The pool was dirty and the layout mats were not cleaned. The TV in my room looked like it was from the 90’s and the mini fridge was on its last leg. The bathtub also floods the floor when it is drained. There is a drain on the floor, so they must know it does that. I found it unsanitary. The sink looked beautiful, but the underneath shelving was dusty and filled with dead gnats. There were also living gnats around the room throughout my stay. On the sink itself, looked like it was caked with grime where it was attached to.The restaurant is beautiful and the outdoor seating is wonderful. The food was wonderful, but way too expensive. Some of the staff were kind and accommodating, others could be rude and disinterested at times. Some of the hotel staff could be pushy towards signing up with their activities or cab services. Also, the main waiter was overly friendly with me and another woman. At first I thought maybe his personality was just a little over-zealous but now think it was borderline sexual harassment. I told him I had a boyfriend a few times and he still continued to wink at me and touch the back of my arm. I felt very uncomfortable and offended. I didn’t eat at the restaurant the last few nights because I didn’t want to interact with him. If I were to give feedback to hotel: update the rooms and hotel, fire perverted waiter, & lower price of food.

The hotel is advertised as a Spa. Unfortunately, the music around the pool area is way too loud. In the afternoon it reached around 80 decibels on the patios of the rooms surrounding to the pool. In addition, it was discotheque music, definitely not spa music. We complained about this and were compensated. However, it would be better if the hotel is clearer about this in the description.

Party vibes every day with beautiful views. I would suggest not booking the hotel if you want a more quiet experience.

We checked in on a Sunday and there was a DJ playing at the pool. If you’re looking for a quiet resort, I would choose another one. We loved being in Megalochori and central to most things but did not enjoy the people next to our suite blasting music all day and night. The staff did fix the situation and luckily they checked out the very next day.

The property itself has everything you need though and plenty of parking if you rent a car which we loved.

There is only 1 restaurant in the hotel though the food is good. Not much choices for a 4 days stay.
The hotel is far away from tourist areas (FIRA, OIA etc). Other than renting a car, public transport is the only choice but schedule is not on time and is always full - packed like sardines. Bus operators, most are very "unfriendly" or you may say "rude".

Don’t book it. This is a scam property. Looks like a cheap motel on the outside, and the interior is run down, dirty, and definitely not up to a 5-star hotel standard. The 3 and 4 star resorts we stayed at far exceeded suites of the gods. They originally put us in a cheaper room than we booked, and gave us a “free upgrade” to our original booking when we complained. The room had mold in the bathroom and shower, and a floor drain in the bathroom that backed up and flooded the floor with oily water when we showered. Out of our four night, non-refundable stay, we couldn’t stomach staying. We left for another resort called Nikos Villas which was lovely. The staff was rude and unpleasant. Stay away from this place.

The room was perfect for the 4 of us. The breakfast was delicious! Nice variety of choices. Stunning views from our room of Caldera. Some staff not the friendliest. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a stunning location with breathtaking views! Amenities were perfect, staff was great and arranged all of our transportation! Our driver George in particular was such a great person and knowledgeable of the area with great local tips for our first visit! We went off season so price was great! We will always stay here during future teipa

Beautiful and serene, if you are in Santorini to absorb its beauty, this is the place for you as it’s quiet and relaxing and perhaps the most gorgeous views of caldera. If you want to be near all attractions then be prepare to take taxi or public bus to get to Fira and Oia.

We had a great view of the caldera, the Aegean Sea and stunning landscape. The room was very spacious. We had free breakfast which I didn't know came with my room booking. Adrianna at the front desk was very very helpful and accommodating with all our inquiries and needs. Highly recommended.
