The property was approximately a 25 min walk from town. We didn’t spend much time in the room as we were exploring alghero. We had some issues with the balcony door at check in (it was almost falling off it’s hinges).

Very clean & super friendly staff (esp Mario). Great position at the end of the promenade & an easy 20\30min walk into the old town, Rental bikes avail to take you along the flat bike path to spaiggia Maria Piā 6km away!

We had a problem with wifi in our room which they looked at - it was ok for apple products but not strong enough for my android phone unless we kept our bedroom door open. Huge spacious quiet internet\smart TV ROOM. It was a pity no one knew or provided instructions how to operate the smart tv to the internet but if you like Italian tv its fine. (my hubby would have loved to watch sport on it)! For the price we paid, location, roof top terrace for apero & including a buffet breakfast it represented great value. We would stay here again! Thank you Mario for recommendions for the poor weather we experienced! The spa next door was a particular bonus

Quiet hotel outside of town

The bed was more comfortable than it looked. Excellent air-con. No in-room safe. 24/7 reception. Balcony and bannisters unsettlingly wobbly. Staff friendly and helpful. There is only 1 restaurant close-by (next door) but plenty in town, which is a 15-30 min stroll depending on where you are going - but the walk is easy and pleasant.

Nice hotel, nothing fancy but good value. Just 10 minutes walk from city center and a lot less expensive than hotels tjat are closer. Also bike renting service available (€5 for half a day!) And the breakfasy was amazing!
Only strange, you have to pay for the jacuzzis on the roof terrace, I would think such is included in tje price.

A warm welcome at this hotel.

Good location about 10-15 minutes pleasant walk into the old town. On-street parking is hit and miss so may need to leave car a block away.
Very friendly, helpful staff and a comfortable feel to the place. Good and plentiful breakfast selection of fresh produce; more fruit would be a good addition.
Rooms clean and functional but very sterile and a little gloomy - even \"superior\" rooms with sea view. Plain white walls with no pictures and very sparse furniture.
Biggest criticism is the beds. Narrow singles (even in \"double\" room) with hard mattresses of a utilitarian design more likely to be found in a youth hostel.
Change the beds, add some jolly pictures and a tub chair or two to get a near excellent rating!
Don't dismiss the place though.

A great find

I booked this hotel as it was close to a family member who was working in the area. It's in a quiet area away from the main tourist hotels and beaches. It's family run and very friendly. Their English is as limited as my Italian (but that's the same for most of the island) but the power of pointing and body language ensured this was not an issue. The room and bathroom where spacious, more so than most hotel rooms and room service was daily and excellent. The breakfast was fine, continental style, with plentiful coffee refills if required. It is approx 10-15 mins walk to the town (depending on which area you wish to visit), but it is along a well lit sea front esplanade so an easy walk and much needed after an evening meal!!!! We did not use the restaurant attached so cannot comment on it, there was no reason except we were only there for a few days and preferred to try other establishments in the main town.

It is easy to park the car outside for free on the street. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into the old town in Alghero. I can defintively go back here!

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Piras in Alghero! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding – the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (and more). They were always available, extremely helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect.

The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday. The location is great too – close enough to explore Alghero easily, yet peaceful enough to enjoy some quiet time.

What truly stood out, however, was the hospitality. Any request, big or small, was handled immediately and with a smile. It felt like being truly taken care of, which made our stay stress-free and unforgettable.

I can’t recommend Villa Piras enough – if you are looking for excellent service, comfort, and a truly memorable experience in Alghero, this is the place to stay!

Gezellig, net, old style hotel, rustig gelegen op wandelafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden van Alghero. Een zeer aangename wandeling langs zee, brengt je in 10 minuten naar de oude stad. De bus van en naar Bosa stopt vlakbij het hotel, idem voor de stadsbus naar het treinstation. Een mooie wandeling van 8 km brengt je naar Fertilia. Grote supermarkt op 10 min. wandelen van het hotel. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Ruime kamer, we kregen een upgrade naar een 4 persoonskamer waarvoor dank. Geen waterkoker beschikbaar. Heerlijk dakterras met zitjes en ligzetels. Ontbijtruimte niet echt gezellig, komt ook soms druk over. Standaard ontbijtbuffet zonder tierlantijntjes, en zonder variatie, wordt wel constant aangevuld. Wat groenten bij het ontbijt zouden welkom zijn. Lekkere pizza's in het restaurant naast het hotel.

Cosa che poi ha meravigliato che fuori della camera erano stazionati i carrelli con l'occorrente per la pulizia delle stanze . Il resto nella norma .

Déception pour cet hôtel : la chambre : douche très petite pas possible de pouvoir bouger normalement et nous sommes mince, pas de produits douche, pas d’insonorisation, pas de bouilloire pour avoir un bol d’eau chaude pour un thé…2,50 € !!! TV ridiculement petite, matelas une planche , pour sortir sur la petite terrasse porte pourrie et située dans la salle de bain !!
Parking 10€ ne pas prendre , dans la rue on se gare sans problème mais on nous ne l’indique pas…

Good place to discover the city

The hotel is located a bit outside of the city center, however it's only a 20 min walk and the views during that walk are beautiful. We had a suite with two bedrooms. In our room the shower did not close completely, causing a bit of flooding on the floor. Also the pillows were quite hard. In our bedroom there was a very loud noise which we first thought to be the air-condition, however, it turned out to be the fridge.

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung. Großes Zimmer. Die angekündigte Terrasse mit Meerblick war ein Balkon. Dafür gibt es aber eine große Dachterrasse für alle. Nur leider abends mit Flutlicht Beleuchtung, was jegliches Sonnenuntergang Ambiente zunichte macht. Schade, aber das könnte man ja ändern.

Ottima posizione e discreta vista mare seppur con davanti altre case. Camere grandi ma vuote di arredamenti, un minuscolo armadio e basta. Materasso scarso a molle abbastanza scomodo. Parcheggio a pagamento in un garage scomodissimo, con la mia jeep compass ci entravo a malapena con diverse manovre. Adatto a dimensioni tipo fiat panda! Ottima la colazione anche se per 3 giorni sono state riproposte le solite torte avanzate. Magari sarebbe consigliabile aprirne una alla volta. Nel complesso comunque discreto.

Stort rum med balkong gångavstånd till stan

Bra läge med gångavstånd till gamla stan som var trevlig att gå i på kvällen och många trevliga restauranger.
Vi parkerade på gatan men biev erbjudna att parkera i deras parkeringshus som låg nära för 10 euro. Hon var osäker på om det var tillåtet att stå där vi parkerat. Vi försökte parkera i p-huset men helt omöjligt då det var mycket trångt och vi hade ändå en liten bil.
Fint rum med stor balkong med utsikt mot havet dock en bilväg nedanför. Fanns en klippig strand nära men massor av illaluktande tång. Gick en bit mot gamla stan och hittade en liten sandstrand som var helt ok att ligga på några timmar på kvällen.
God frukost och inte så mycket folk. Bra service och gott kaffe! Många sorters kakor så klart!
Hårda sängar men är ju vanligt i Italien.
Helt ok hotel för en natt!

Abbiamo soggiornato dal 5 al 10 ottobre 2021,si tutto bene, nel complesso pulito e soddisfacente, se devo dirla tutta la tv troppo piccola per il tipo di camera , un põ scarna per la grandezza della stessa. Comunque le ragazze della sala colazione fanno guadagnare punti , in quanto gentili e sempre attente al buffet, non manca nulla e le torte sono veramente buone. La reception è altrettanto attenta e da informazioni dettagliate sulle escursioni e orari bus. Insomma consigliabile per chi vuole soggiornare in questa bella città....

Hotel situato in una zona tranquilla al di fuori del centro storico,purtroppo manca il parcheggio e si rischia la multa se si lascia la macchina nella via dell' hotel.La camera nonostante fosse una superior con vista mare era molto spartana,il letto formato da due brandine con scomodi materassini.Il bagno,pur essendo spazioso aveva il box doccia con una piccola doccetta e privo di un portasapone.La colazione viene servita con un buffet self service , anziche' essere servito dal personale per il rispetto delle norme anti covid

Corona bedingt wurde man für das Frühstück in Gruppen aufgeteilt und hatte eine halbe Stunde Zeit zum Essen. Alles vom buffet wird einem von Mitarbeitern gereicht, diese geben einem allerdings das Gefühl man solle sich beeilen und nicht zu viel nehmen. 1 Minute bevor das Frühstück endete bekamen wir nichts mehr zu essen nicht einmal ein Stück Kuchen oder Obst um es auch mit aufs Zimmer zu nehmen. Wir haben ein Baby das auch noch nicht genug gegessen hatte. Da fehlte die Menschlichkeit. Zudem wird auf den Bildern die Rolle Dachterasse mit Whirlpool gezeigt, jedoch muss man pro halbe Stunde und Person 5 Euro bezahlen um sie zu nutzen. Eine Frechheit meiner Meinung nach.

Hôtel bien situé. Possibilité de se garer facilement à côté gratuitement. Belle terrasse pour un beau coucher du soleil (Alghero étant à l'ouest). 15 minute à pied pour rejoindre le centre historique en longeant la plage. (belle promenade)!

Mention spéciale à Elisabetta qui nous a conseillé de bon restaurants et à su répondre à toutes nos attentes !

Hôtel avec tout le nécessaire, Elisabetha a l’accueil est merveilleuse. En revanche, la décoration est très démodée, Le frigo fait beaucoup de bruit et le jaccuzy est froid (30 degrés)

Piacevolissima esperienza nella sempre meravigliosa Alghero, a due passi dal mare e dal centro, hotel dotato di ogni comfort, camera spaziosa pulita e con una parziale vista mare. Un saluto alla gentilissima ragazza del ricevimento

We got the room just behind the reception, so next morning it was noisy when people were checking out. Otherwise nothing to complain about. Massimilian in the reception was very friendly and introduced Alghero for us in a pleasant way.

O quarto era bem limpo, o recepção muito atenciosa oferecendo diversas dicas sobre o local e welcome drink, ficamos apenas um dia mas gostamos bastante. Apenas dois ponto, um pouco longe da old Alghero (principal região noturna) e não tem estacionamento no hotel.

Les conseils du personnel de l’accueil ont été mauvais. Nous demandons quand aura lieu le marché local... on nous répond jeudi, le jeudi matin nous nous apprêtons à aller sur le marché, et là, nous nous rendons compte que le marché a lieu le mercredi... la veille donc... tant pis pour nous... Nous avions pris la formule demi-pension et nous n’avons pas su avant de faire notre choix que le restaurant ne faisait pas partis de l’hôtel mais un restaurant indépendant. Dans le menu du soir ni les boissons, ni les desserts ne sont inclus. Cela ne nous a pas été précisé non plus ! Un samedi soir le restaurant a eu un problème et n’a pas pu ouvrir ses portes à la clientèle. Lorsque nous sommes rentrés de balade, rien ne nous a été signalé... nous sommes donc partis manger comme tous les soirs au restaurant et avons trouvé portes closes. En revenant à l’accueil de l’hôtel, on ne nous propose pas de solution... « allez voir au centre-ville d’Alghero, vous trouverez plein de restaurants... » voilà ce qui nous a été dit. C’est plus que moyen !! L’hôtel est relativement excentré et la plage à côté est très moyenne ou alors il faut aimer les algues. Globalement nous sommes déçus

Hotel ben tenuto con personale gentile e qualificato, molto disponibile a fornire informazioni e consigli.
La camera era ampia, pulita ed il balcona aveva una veduta a mare.
La colazione a 7 € il parcheggio si trova in zona. Sotto vi è un ristorante.
Nel complesso una valida soluzione
