100% Recommend and would stay again. Fast and easy checkin and check-out. They allowed us to drop our bags early and leave them after we checked out. Very large room (Italian hotel rooms are usually tiny), spacious bathroom. Great location in the middle of all the action. Well priced. Great customer service too!

The room was nice - comfortable bed and plenty of storage space BUT there were a number of things I didn’t like. Breakfast is served in the room. The elevator was very slow. It was very noisy with loud people partying on the street below every night until after midnight.

Our room was nice and big. Breakfast is served in the room. Staff is nice and the hotel is close to the Arena and other touristic attractions. We only had a couple of problems. The room was cleaned rather late and it was complicated to arrange a taxi to Lake Garda.

Probably one of the best properties I’ve stayed at internationally. The room was large, with a family room, dining area and bedroom. The in house breakfast experience was like royalty. They enter your room at your selected time, set your dining table and serve the breakfast you requested. Amazing!! The front desk was very nice and multilingual. They have reasonable laundry service available. WiFi was fast and included. The luggage aids were very helpful. This hotel was in a perfect location to walk anywhere in Verona. A very short walk to the opera arena. There are a large variety of food options and bars nearby. The train station is about 20 minutes walking. A scenic walk so it goes by quickly. I did not have a vehicle, so cannot remark on parking. I don’t believe there was a swimming pool. Either way, I highly recommend this hotel. Upon my return to Verona, I will definitely return here.

We are a family of four. This hotel is perfectly located in the city centre. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was very nice. Good shower!
My only criticism’s would be that noise does seem to travel through the floors, so if you are a light sleeper you will hear people coming and going, but it is a very old building so it’s to be expected. We would definitely stay again.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The trouble is that the room overlooks the main, busiest, loudest street in the city center. If you’re going to party till 2am you won’t mind. If you are hoping for a good night’s sleep you need to know that even noise canceling headphones didn’t quite work.

I had a wonderful stay at one of the best hotels in Italy during my holiday. The location was perfect—shopping was just downstairs, restaurants were everywhere, and the bus stop was only a few minutes’ walk away, just 3-4 stops from the train station. The service was fantastic, and breakfast was delivered right to our room, allowing us to enjoy our meal in privacy. The receptionist was responsive to our requests and served us with great joy. I felt very welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

We had an amazing time in Escalus, we only booked for one night and we were supposed to get the annex, but they offered us the suite in the main hotel and ended up staying there since it was more convenient for just one night. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The location is unbeatable, a block away from the arena. The amenities offered are welcome, the coffee machine and pods are a plus. Do not hesitate to book!

The place is nicely located, nested within few steps from the Arena. Helpful and friendly staff. One concern we did have was the mold above the shower tub and the dripping off the ceiling. Small but quaint 2 bedroom apartment. Not a lot of light/lighting (but we did go at the end of November - not sure what this would be like in the height of summer). Two steps in the apartment between bedrooms bathroom and the kitchen living room - to be aware of in case this is an issue for you. Building has an elevator but there is a small step in the hallway to get to apartment - in case this is an issue for some. Walking distance to many sights and pedestrian shopping area. Would recommend staying here.

This was a boutique hotel with spacious rooms that included a suite set-up of a living room and bedroom, along with a nice sized bathroom. It was only a few blocks from the center of town, so everything was within walking distance. The front desk woman was so nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

Great location with lovely staff! Both Valentina’s were super helpful with guiding us in by car and arranging valet parking service. The room was modern and very comfortable. Bathroom was with a big rain shower! The little kitchenette was nice but not very usable as the tea pot and microwave are not plugged in. I was able to make a cup of tea in the little seating area. Breakfast is brought to the room and was on time and well done. The best part was the location! Walking distance to everything and literally steps from the Roman arena.

It was a little hard to navigate to by car, but Nichol guided us by telephone and was extraordinarily helpful during our stay. Room was perfect, and breakfast served to order in your suite until 11 am was crowning touch. Hotel is on a quiet street very close to busy areas.

Perfect location for a stay in Verona. Staff were so helpful and nothing was too much problem. Suites were very well kitted out, quiet and comfortable. What an amazing place!

Amazing!!! The Apartment was easily within walking distance of everything. The staff was SUPER helpful and accommodating. There is an elevator so you don’t have to schlep your bags (they actually held our bags at the main hotel and brought them over after we were done putzing around Verona. Parking was a breeze and they brought the car back to our front doorstep when it was time to check out. Absolutely an amazing stay!!!

The entire team who was working when we arrived - Marco and staff - went out of their way - the hotel is located in an area where there are limited cars allowed -while my husband parked the car along the curb I rang the hotel door bell and the young lady accompanied us in our car to the area where there is the valet parking ( extra charge but so worth it ) oh and she also helped us unload our luggage out front
We were offered something cold to drink during check in and also given a room upgrade - the room was meticulous with a stocked ( inexpensive ) mini bar - the hotel is in the prime area very close the the arena and beautiful shopping area. We wished we could have spent more than one night . Checkout was also efficient and friendly . Not something easily found in certain areas of Italy ( sorry but true ) and I can get by on my Italian skills . Professional , gracious group of people and beautiful hotel

I would definitely stay here again. First and foremost, the location is excellent - walking distance to everything you may want to see and do in Verona and just steps from the arena and a 5 minute walk from Piazza Erbe.

The rooms are clean and modern with a lot of attention to detail, including little amaretti as a welcome treat.

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, having helped us book reservations for dinner and directed us around town.

Good boutique hotel. perfect location for sightseeing but very difficult to get to and parking. Use the parking garage for 1/2 the price what the hotel charges. Limited breakfast but nicely delivered to your room. The suite is very large for Italy. the bathroom is very nice but the large rain shower head is not comfortable. On a very noisy street. However, overall good value for the price.

The hotel is a boutique hotel, very well located near the Arena, also city center. Rooms are super modern and very spacious as well. Small stylish hotel in a perfect position

Staff provided a very personal service in this elegant private hotel. Our suite was generous in size, with stylish modern Italian designed decor and furnishings. Bathroom was spacious with every accessory needed - including scales to gently remind that you are probably eating too much. Plenty of room to relax after exploring a fascinating city, with feet up on a couch or comfortable chair.

Breakfast was served in our room, with a gracious smile and a flourish of tablecloth and napkins , set at the desk. A nicely private arrangement.

While the front door is only a hundred metres from the popular Arena ,entry is secure, and double glazed windows at the back of the hotel cut the noise, but not the view of the marble paved main shopping street below.

We were given coffee while an early entry to our room was organised, escorted to our room, and provided with maps, restaurant recommendations, and opening times of particular attractions.

Clever costume photos on the walls made a subtle link to Verona's Shakespeare and Romeo and Juliet'theme. Full marks to the designer.

Perfectly located just a few minutes stroll from the arena. Pity there is no lobby bar but there is a simple inexpensive restaurant just accross the road. Every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful and the room service breakfast was excellent.

Our stay at the Escalus Luxury Suites exceeded our expectations in every respect. The location in the historic area is fabulous and the apartment spacious and tastefully designed with a comfortable bed and pillows and touches that show real care and attention to guests' enjoyment. Added to this is the exceptionally warm welcome and hospitality extended by Marco who organised valet parking (at an additional charge) and made a dinner reservation which for us at a charming restaurant and was a font of help and advice concerning our onward journey as well as in concerning our stay. We are planning our return to Veriona and will definitely try to stay at Escalus apartments when we do.

The best location and also quiet situated in the heart of the designer shops and 2 minutes walk from the colosseum. The staff was so friendly and helpful with advice on places to go and restaurants. The in room breakfast was very good to including the bacon and eggs. Loved Verona we would definitely go back again and stay at the Escalus. Would recommend taking the train to Lake Garda also. The staff also organised private luxury car airport transfers for us also which was not more than a normal taxi. They made us feel very special - Thank you for looking after us so well

Classy suites in heart of Verona

The hotel is a great oasis in a very beautiful city. Most are within walking distance. No hesitation to stay again. Next time I will know to drop wife and luggage at front door then continue down to end of street turn right and road widens enough to temporarily park as I walk back and hotel does valet parking. Cost €30 night. Parking is 2.4 km away. At least that's where they parked it. I'm not walking or carrying luggage that far. Or very far for that matter.
Breakfast is brought to your suite in am. Housekeeping excellent. Had wet mini fridge and someone cleaned up the interior right away. Very apologetic. Never found out why wet. Doesn't matter.
We had a temporary hot headed truck driver who didn't want me to pull bags out in front of hotel. Was leaving them there with my wife. He was very unpleasant with profanity and constant honking. I was telling him one minute and he could see I was struggling to quickly do it. I got staff to tell me where I should go with their valet parking. Receptionist sent bottle of champagne to room as a gesture of \"sorry for that introduction to our hotel\". Classy

Modern and sophisticated hotel

The escalus was a great modern and sophisticated hotel in the heart of the old city of Verona. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel breakfast was served in the room and was excellent with fresh fruit, eggs, pastries, and beverage options. The staff was helpful they spoke excellent English and were very knowledgable.

The TV didn't work and one of the wardrobe doors wouldn't close so was permanently swung open which I'm surprised staff didn't notice. Also one of the lamps didn't work and the room had no overhead lightings so was v dark without it. Staff were quick to replace the TV and change the lightbulb, although the lamp was broken again by the next morning. Good breakfast and v helpful staff though

Nice location and staff, extra beds are small

We made reservation for 4 adults but hotel only had small twin beds available. The beds were so small that adult could not lay flat, they were more like for kids..... one of my friend ended up sleeping on the coach. It was definitely not a luxurious experience in such hotel. I would reconsider if I would stay there again.
