The staff were brilliant and the location was perfect. The only criticism was that the hotel had the heating on full pelt and without air conditioning the room was stifling and you had to have the window open but although the room (60) was a long way from the main road,the sound travelled and we ended up borrowing a fan so we could keep the window shut but still have air movement. Also the bed was harder than we would have wanted and creaked badly. The breakfast was lovely and the hotel just oozed charm with areal Italian homely feel as expected from being family run

I expected better for the price. Whilst clean, the AC was not performing well. The bed was terrible ~ super hard mattress (if that suits you then you’ll be happy). Overall the hotel rooms are tired and in desperate need of transportation to today. Only one power point was working there charging our phones was a challenge.

The basis is good, the hotel is well placed, but everything recent is done on the cheap, and it shows.

This is an older hotel and needs an up lift . During our stay there were problems with the TV reception on the English channels and the internet was a hotspot which was very very slow and for a period of time there was no service .

I had a single room but it was very large - more like a double but with a single bed in it. In general the hotel was old fashioned but in a good or traditional way! Breakfast was great. Location was perfect as just metres from the Arena.
