We had to ask for towels 4 times since 9am and finally got it at 7pm….. “oh you know how cleaning ladies are..” is not the best answer to give to your guests at 4 star hotel. Spa was nice, room huge but had dead mosquitoes on the walls and bugs walking around in the bathroom.

Beware / avoid !

Booked the hotel expecting a peaceful stay away from city , do not make my mistake !

The hotel is in bad condition . The room was very dirty . The bathroom smelled like wet dog was kept in it . The bathroom floor and sink very dirty . The fridge was dirty and had smoked fish juice in it . The room latch lock broken off .

There was a party in the parking lot until 1am which disturb the peace . The rooms are not soundproof . Noise from all directions will disturb your room peace .

I am a loyal guest who travels from abroad and repeatedly chooses this hotel over many others available. This time, I booked a premium room that was even better than many others hotel rooms, I have stayed in before, and I was pleased it faced the forest as I had initially requested. However, right next to that forest was the main event area, and from around 3 pm until past midnight there was loud music and a concert that made it impossible to rest. After the concert, there were drunk people wandering around the hotel grounds, which did not make me feel comfortable or safe — especially given that this is a spa destination meant for relaxation. No one at reception informed me about this event, nor was I offered a refund, discount, or even a simple apology afterwards. In the morning, I was asked to check out despite having planned a late check-out due to the disturbance. As a returning guest who spends above average here, I found this very disappointing and it makes me question staying again or recommending the hotel to my family.

The hotel advertised play area and water sports but the play area is not suitable for young children. The indoor play are is never open. The water area is untidy and unkept. The rooms are fine but tired and dated. The pool area is nice. The restaurant staff are not very helpful.

This property had varying degrees of newness. Some parts older though rooms are a very generous size - the new part is beautiful and the pool is stunning. The food in Bora Bora on the small lake was delicious and breakfast buffet had lots of options. The playground for kids was dated but the kids didn't mind.

Overall, I'd recommend the stay for a calmer day away from the city.

Great place for a family vacation

It's far from Old Town but they do have a free shuttle to town. This hotel has an indoor pool for adults and a small indoor pool for kids. It has a sauna and steam room. Really nice gym. Multiple restaurants. It has a lake with paddle boats, row boats, and kayak to use for free. The hotel is huge and could definitely use some updating but it's a great value for families.

I was expecting a very relaxing spa space. From the pictures it looks glorious, however in reality the spa is very noisy from the various jacuzzi and waterfall machines…. It just wasn’t relaxing. The facilities are great though. The rooms were excellent, very spacious. The breakfast hall and breakfast buffet was like something from the 90’s…. Very much in need of an update!
We had an excellent waiter called Alex who was very attentive and well mannered.

We had a family room for one night stay. Firstly, the reception could not find out booking. When we finally got the room, we were given the ''older'' part of the hotel. The rooms are very spacious but lacks modern vibe, had rusty tap, radiator in the bathroom. There was no drinking water in the room provided and I had to request for it. Walls are thin as we could hear music from other room very clearly. Also, TV kept blurring, buzzing or blacking out.
In the restaurant, lack of staff was felt, queue for coffee was huge. But food was tasty!
Other than the above, the hotel has a nice spa area, stunning grounds, nice little beach area.

The guy at reception could not find out reservation
Took him over 20 minutes and 3 different room attempts to sort us a room that at neither matched the one we booked at the end I gave up as I could guess the gentleman was in training and bless him for trying. Someone was sitting at the back didn't bother to help him out which wasn't nice. I suggest get a grip on your booking system and customer service.
Need some investments on the outside decor
The room itself was very clean and comfortable, nice breakfast will return next time I stay in Vilnius

I am coming to Vilnius Grand Resort not a first time,but this time really didn't like it ... if I will need to write down everything what was wrong . .., it's will takes ages... mostly I didn't like service in Bora Bora on 25.07.21 app 3-4pm and 7-8pm... Was so unprofesionall,even rude attidute to me and other guest .Lady with short,blond hair and I think she will be over 35 or 40 years old. Ok,let's start when I ask or any table is free she said not here ,this tables reserved,just on another side ,but there are still dirty glasses after party... no problem I can wait. .. Was waitting 10-15min or even longer ,no one came over to clean a table ,just seen talking behind the bar and doing other things.... Even I been ignored ... Wasn't many people in Bora Bora...I just got mad , stopped another waitter young girl and asked then table will be ready ,received answer she will check for me... are serously I been waitting already then she took to that table where before I received what this tables is not free reserved... Are you serously? When what for been waitting?!!! Even yesterday for other hotels guest been told same way.. common you will loose yours guest for sure! And on the end at 11pm when we pop over to put signature on receipt ,we received like advise how to stop moscitos coming and bites too.. just put vodka on the body,hahah... can you see moscitos is not biteing us behind the bar... Common ??!!! From when she can talk to me like to a friend? I am a custumer !!!

The hotel was beautiful and the service was nice however many of the facilities were closed due to COVID and this was not clear from the information on the webpages. Spa was wonderful if you paid the additional fee for premium. Regular spa which was part of room prices was really poor... I would recommend the place if you plan for few days of relaxing in the spa or play golf.

The resort it's self was wonderful but my room lacked a few things. The duvet was too small for the bed so had to request a bigger one. There were no tea and coffee making facilities and the heating was on so high i couldn't sleep without the window open. They really should let you control the temperature in each room.

We were staying at the hotel for a wedding. On arrival we were given our key but the room wasn’t the superior room we had booked, so had to get it changed. The hotel was very apologetic.

The room was comfortable - although the A/C was a bit feeble. No tea & coffee in the room though.

Food was ok - breakfast was extra. We had it on one of the days, but didn’t bother for the others as we were a bit underwhelmed. The restaurant on the lake was really nice for food and late night drinks.

The pool at the hotel is really great - and bigger than most hotel pools.

Personally, we found the hotel a little dated, and would probably go for somewhere else if we were to go back.

Hotel is long in the tooth. They are building a new wing so it isn’t the prettiest view. Toilet didn’t work and the room was very worn feeling. Pillows were stained and there was hair on the comforter. Breakfast was lackluster. I guess they will renovate these rooms once the new wing is done.

Really nice hotel around 20km outside Vilnius. I was there for a week long conference so I was fine, but if you are staying as a tourist, you would be best off with a car as there is nothing nearby.

The hotel is building a new \"world class\" spa but it looks a good way off completion at the moment. They do offer spa services already and have a pool but they are building a new one for a reason.

Food was pretty good with an extensive breakfast buffet.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

I had an Executive room which was spacious, nicely furnished and with a great bathroom. TV is poor by modern standards - lots of channels in different languages but almost all news / financial news.

The only real issue I experienced was very in and out WiFi. It would be maximum strength one minute and would then be 1 bar a minute later. Annoying more than catastrophic but if you are reliant on the internet whilst staying, it could be an issue.

All in all, very nice

Great hotel but different service after summer.

Vey comfortable very good hotel. However, the standard of service after summer is different compared to the peak months. I was very surprised mid-shower to find that hot water had been shut down. What surprised me most was when I was told that this was for planned maintenance. Some communication with the residents before the event would have been good.
Other than hot water problems on two out of four days, the stay was good

Pictures can be deceiving.

I primarily picked this hotel based on the fitness facilities. The pictures are misleading . The equipment was in poor shape and lacked a lot of equipment a supposed 5 star resort should have.

Perfect place for a short break

Conveniently located to visit all the major places in the area - both Vilnius centre and Trakai are reachable in about half an hour by car. One of the great additions to the venue - huge gym with lot of options to choose from, swimming pool, saunas.

As it is near a golf course, it is far away from food and shops, and you need your car to drive over 10km. Although it has a shuttle to the city, the one we wanted to take left 5 minutes early.

The twin bed is narrow, and the blanket slips down.

This is a very beautiful place to stay with great English speaking staff and service. The only downside to us was the cost of eating and room service on site, because most desired restaurants and old town are ways away. If you are not worrying about paying for an expensive dinner, the area is perfect for anyone looking to get away from day to day.

The hotel is good for people who want a calming, resort experience. It is located in a wooded area and there is no city noise. Although the hotel is located along a highway, I didn't hear any noise coming from it. The city of Vilnius is not far away and the hotel offers a shuttle bus service.

A Visit To Paradise

We go to the Vilnius Grand Resort frequently, so we are known there. We always have a good time, but this visit was exceptional, thanks the nice facilities and to magnificent weather. We enjoyed our time in spa and pool area. Then in the early afternoon we had a drink and snack at the Bora Bora bar, the outdoor bar on the wooden pier on the lake behind the hotel. It was perfect. The next day we enjoyed a Greek brunch, again in Bora Bora. It was a perfect weekend visit. In addition to the facilities, we are always happy with the friendly service and the comfortable rooms.

The one area that could use a bit of improvement is the breakfast. The breakfast room is beautiful with an excellent view of the lake. What could help? Fresh juices, fresh waffles, a bigger selection of breads and rolls, muffins, etc would make me happier.

But overall, we really enjoy our relaxing breaks at this hotel and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Fabulous getaway from it all resort.

We stayed in a city centre hotel for 3 nights then came here for 3 nights. This hotel was a lovely contrast and was very relaxing.
The building is well looked after, but a little on the tired side. The location is beautiful - set between two stunning lakes. As far as I could tell, every room had a beautiful view from their balcony.
The spa facilities are good. I used the pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room every day that I was there. It is open from 7am until 10pm. I didn't use the gym, but it looked okay for a hotel gym.
The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was good - there was a wide choice of cold meats, fish and cheeses - never something that I fancy for breakfast! There was also a selection of cereals, breads and pastries and a range of cooked breakfast items (bacon, eggs, sausages etc)
There were different dining options - the restaurant was fine French cuisine. A little on the pricey side for Lithuania, but very, very reasonable by UK prices (approx. 23Euros for steak or rack of lamb).
There was a snack bar menu which was reasonable and included burgers, sandwiches, nachos etc. (all under 10 Euros.)
There was also the Bora Bora bar, which opened whilst we were there. They apologised that their barbecue menu was so limited as they weren't fully up and running yet. But we ate there one night and the food was delicious and, again, very reasonably priced. I had a pork and vegetable kebab in pitta with salad for 9 Euros.

Amazing Scenery & Excellent Food!!

So I visited Vilnius In June 2014 with my girlfriend. Le Merdian hotel was clean and staff were helpful especially a lady named Stacia.

The setting around the hotel is perfect for those wanting to escape city life being located around 16km from Vilnius.

Food in the restraint is amazing & perfect for those who fancy a romantic sunset dinner with quality service!!

Bedrooms were also comfortable and generously sized.

My partner & I will most definitely return here, also loved it!!

A superb Holiday resort

This is more of a holiday resort than a hotel. Vilnius is a full 20 minutes away and is not all that interesting. I was a little bit disappointed with this stay as the indoor facilities are definitely a bit shabby and the rooms look a bit worn. I was put in a smoking room, which do get more wear and tear than the non-smoking rooms that I request but everything looked tired. The Turkish bath controls are in poor repair and everything doesn't look 5 star.

Even though Vilnius is a strange city, there should be a late night shuttle for people who want to visit a restaurant in town.

However, the external facilities are still fantastic and can't be beaten for the price!

Le meridien was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly, both on reception and in the restaurant. The food was tasty, both at breakfast and in the evening. My room was huge and very comfortable, and the air conditioning was great. The bathroom could perhaps have done with a make over, in particular the shower, but was far from terrible. I didn't use the swimming area, but it looked lovely. What really made this hotel was its location, right on a huge lake. The grounds were beautifully kept, and it was very peaceful, yet still within easy reach of Vilnius in a car.

An enclosed paradise

Le Meridien is near Vilnius but it is not in Vilnius. It is for people who want to spend a luxurious holiday surrounded by tranquility, beautiful surroundings and the best golf course in Europe, outside of Spain and Britain!

There were some minor problems regarding maintenance of equipment, as I visited during mid-winter but a word in the ear of the helpful staff fixed everything. The bed mattresses are not quite the quality I would expect from a 5 star but were perfectly adequate, and I understand that the more expensive rooms have better.

Fantastic, safe 25M pool with shallow kids' pool very close by and within easy eyeshot of adults.

The hotel bus to Vilnius is extremely prompt and punctual, but perhaps the driver should avoid smoking inside of the bus while he waits? Also a later bus service would be much appreciated, but during the winter season having the bus running at all is credit to the hotel.

The only other minor negative is that the Wi-Fi is not free and overpriced! There are 3 free computers in the Business room but fast free internet should be compulsory in any hotel with 4 stars or greater in my humble opinion!

All in all, I had a fabulous time and will return soon.

One of my favourites for 10 years already

A spacious hotel a little bit out of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. You don't know what SPACIOUS means until you've seen this hotel - the size and the amount of space (and light) in the corridors, the galleries, and the restaurants makes you feel you are in a castle. The landscapes are pictoresque, also, with small lakes surrounding the hotel.

Nice hotel, breakfast was too expensive and quality very very average.

Too far from the city. There is a hotel shuttle to the city but not so convenient. There is free internet which was nice to have. We were there for business and didn't get to use the golf, etc.

staff were really friendly and helpful. shuttle service reliable and punctual.
better directions/instructions for shuttle service. hotel should include a map showing exact location rather than just white bridge/olympic casino.

Peaceful hotel away from the busy city of Vilnius

Location and grounds of the hotel were great. Right on the A1 not far from Vilnius and only 40 minutes from the lovely historical town of Trakai. Excellent service in the hotel, restaurant food and service was 5 star and not over expensive. Very good swimming pool with the usual spa treatments and service. A bonus for golfers is the excellent 18 hole course which again was reasonably priced. All of the staff we came into contact with were really helpful and pleasant My wife and I had a very enjoyable time walking in the extensive grounds and around the Golf Course.

Spa og basseng var bra og moderne, samme med treningsrom. Men hotellet var i hovedsak gammelt og slitt. Markedsføring på Hotels.com stemmer ikke, her virker hotellet moderne og fancy. Service-instillingen var middels i beste fall.

Camere ampie. Alloggiato in camera standard la pulizia lascia molto a desiderare: ciuffi di capelli nella moquette, tenda vasca da bagno sporca

Slitet & gammalt rum som behöver en uppfräschning. Frukosten var bara kass. Allt fanns men, inget var gott och det kändes som ”billigt”. Italienska restaurangen var en av de sämsta burgarna jag ätit i mitt liv och då har jag ätit några hotell burgare efter 2-3 veckor i månaden på hotell i tjänsten.
Överlag håller det här hotellet tunt och man blir lite fintad av bilderna. Däremot så var all personal fantastiskt hjälpsamma och service minded.

Mit dem Auto gut erreichbar, viele Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Gelände ist sehr groß, teilweise etwas unübersichtlich. Spa und Wellnessbereich sehr schön, Frühstück gut. Teilweise lange Wege innerhalb des Resorts.

Magnifique environnement, restaurants, espaces aquatiques. Mais les chambres sont très mal insonorisées, on entend tout chez les voisins, discussions, télévision… même pas une bouilloire ou un peu de café / thé à disposition, dommage. Chambres très basiques.

It is a big hotel in the nice surroundings next to a lake but it is very outdated, at least the rooms we had with a balcony and a nice view on the lake but no chairs to sit on the balcony, what si the point with it then? We went there for the SPA and it was under annual cleaning! So only big pool was available and that one was so crowded with children that we haven't even tried to get in. The service at the spa reception was terrible, we specifically asked for all to be charged at the room but when we came to the spa we had to go back to our room which is quite far away to bring credit card to pay all at the spa. Spa treatment was nice and the girls were kind.
