I arrived a day late due to a delayed flight from Australia and they had sold my room that i had prepaid for. This is despite me emailing the hotel to advise i would be late arriving.
I was supposed to be attending a conference at the hotel and had to travel 30 minutes from another hotel. Very upset and poor service.

I was a little disappointed, room was only cleaned on really low effort, the blankets in the room had a really strange format (too short, i am 1.85m), the AC (even outside it was like cold) was blowing all night and had always to be turned of manually on request (but was running automatically again from 6am in the morning), so you woke always up super cold, there was no option to turn it off permanent or heat. Staff at the bar was good, the rest was also not too attentive, i did not enjoy this stay much and wished would have done another hotel choice.

The breakfast was delicious. The pool was okay, but it was awkward going through a shopping mall in your bathing suit to get there. The bathtub drain did not work and they promised to send someone up to our room. It took over 6 hours and me going back down to the reception desk to get it resolved.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff on checkout. Only let down by a lack of AC (set to max and it was at least over 20c) and pillows being a bit thin. Location is excellent for metro and trams. Being attached to a shopping centre and fitness centre are bonuses.

Great location and happy hour!

9 night stay , so having a separate lounge area was essential as I knew jet lag would be a factor!!! Big bonus is the free breakfast (same each day but good enough to set you for the day) , but even better was the ‘kickback happy hour’ this gave 3 alcoholic drinks each, plus a basic dinner - per person between 1730 and 1900 - this was great and meant we we only actually ate out a couple times in the evening, allowing to focus on the important stuff - the honky tonks!!!!

I loved that the hotel is internally connected to a shopping mall and to the metro station. It was easy to get anywhere and you could shop for essentials without stepping outside.

The only thing I would say was not great is the fact that if you get in late, there is no place to eat. We found a very basic pizza stand not far away and it did the job to feed us at 11 pm, but the hotel offers nothing at all not even at the bar. Maybe if they had 2 or 3 types of ready made sandwiches, they would make a great difference.

Also, staff at the restaurant does not speak English and no one could tell me what fish was offered at the buffet breakfast (the label just says fish). Not even the chef!

Overall we had a great experience, the hotel is nice and staff in general is friendly. I would definitely go back.

It is a clean and well serviced hotel. Staff a very helpful. It’s conveniently connected to the mall and I like that the Congress center is within the hotel.
I prefer a gym that is dedicated to the hotel and within the hotel rather than connected to the food court of the mall.

A modern, very quiet and comfortable air conditioned hotel with easy parking as it is in a shopping mall on the outskirts of Prague. The parking is quite expensive (around £25 a night I think) but is very convenient. The metro station is in the downstairs of the shopping centre and there are trams straight into the centre of Prague too. The inclusive breakfast buffet is extensive.

A lovely hotel in a nice local area.

A very comfortable hotel with clean rooms and warm staff at reception. The access to the spa was nice although we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy it. The location is great for getting in and out of the city but might be a bit confusing for first timers to Prague. Luckily we know the area as we have family living nearby. Could highly recommended local pubs and eateries Radagast and Besnowska! The only downside to our stay was the breakfast. The fresh offerings were nice but the fried breakfast was a bit over done and the coffee was very watery. Other than that a very pleasant stay at a lovely hotel.

Brilliant hotel but unfortunate checkout incident

The hotel stay was excellent until an unfortunate incident at check out which accounts for my mediocre overall score. The room was very comfortable, bright and roomy; it was extremely clean and housekeeping could not be faulted. Black out curtains with remote control blinds were a HUGE plus as it meant one can sleep late without being awakened by the sunrise but once awake, the room can be optionally flooded with lots of natural lighting with the press of a button. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety available. Breakfast area was large; clean, bright with superb access to all of the breakfast components. The location right next to the metro with a 20 min quick ride (7 stops) to the Old Town Centre is a plus. Added to that, the hotel adjoins a large bright lovely new mall with loads of options: restaurants (fast food/Czech/international); cafes; pharmacy; supermarket; clothing and shoes outlets and a wide range of other business common to a mall. There’s also a fitness Center with a lovely (though small) indoor swimming pool. The hotel’s conference Center facilities were also superb - my primary reason for travel. The staff overall were helpful, efficient and friendly - very unfortunate for us that our check out turned pear-shaped the way it did.

It was ok. I certainly wouldn't be rushing back to this hotel. The rooms are nice but quite dated for 2019, the breakfast had very basic items despite a wide assortment of them. For the price charged it just about scrapes it, but certainly nothing to get excited about. Also, long way from the old town, so not good if you're looking for a hotel from a tourism perspective. Gym is also external and located in the shopping centre, which is linked and connected.

The hotel is right next to a metro station (Vysočanská) on the yellow line and is about 15 minutes from the city centre. There's not a lot around the hotel but the ride into town is fast and frequent and late night trains take you back easily.

The hotel itself is clean and well-appointed. Staff efficient but not necessarily happy-smily. If you want immersive experience with all of Prague at your doorstep then this is not the place for you. If you want to have a nice relaxing time (and the swimming pool, sauna and other wellness features) are next door and come in the price which is great.

Breakfast there is a good choice of hot and cold fare.

One thing not very good is the shower in the rooms. in my room it went hot/cold/hot/cold and is located in the bath tub with just one of those silly half screens

Extremely average hotel in the middle of absolutely no where. Nothing to do in the area, further away from the airport then centre itself and takes 20 minutes to get to the centre. Hotel itself is outdated and rooms are average.
Price is too high for what you get. Room service food was terrible - stale bread with, what seemed like, a week old desert.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice, though overly warm for us, and the location is very good - adjacent to a subway stop. The buffet breakfast was better than average, a wide variety of eggs, meats, breads, fruit, etc. Elevators are very unpredictable - we were never stranded but sometimes it took some arguing to get them to take us to our floor.

However, poor toileteries, old furniture, not comfortable mattress or pillows, infact king bed was two twin mattresses, duvet cover was too tiny for one person.

The clarion congress is an Excellent hotel with good accessibility .the staff are very polite and helpful.Both Tereza's at the concierge went out of their way to help us .The cooling sytem in the rooms keep switching off automatically,the receptionist said that they switch off in the night .Also the children are not allowed in the pool after 4 pm .Hope they make this clear on their website.

The whole Clarion hotel/Prague City experience has been simply wonderful. Some may think the Clarion is a bit remote, forget it, the metro brings the centre of Prague to the doorstep. Just take care with validation of tickets on trams and metro.

Great hotel close to the O2 Arena only about a five or ten minute walk away, also right above a tube station so it's just a fifteen minute journey right into the centre. Breakfast was good and the free wifi was brilliant throughout the hotel. For what we paid it was an absolute bargain! Would return at the drop of a hat.

A very comfortable and professionally managed business hotel. Rooms were well furnished, but with the typical small European TV. Free wifi in the room and was fast enough for video calls. Breakfast was included and was quite good. Convenient for public transportation with a metro stop in the attached mall basement but otherwise this is not a convenient location for tourists.

A very large hotel. Conference venue as well as tourist groups. Great breakfast. Free WiFi in room, paid in conference rooms. Valet laundry available. Ironing board and iron in room. Complementary access to the Gym at the \"Galerie-Fenix\" shopping mall directly attached to hotel. Rooms are medium to large (in European standards) and adequately equipped. Staff speaks decent English. The only real downside of the hotel is its location. Touristic Prague is a small part of town, 1-2 hour walking distance end to end. This hotel is NOT in the touristic part of town. It is a 10-15 minutes taxi (or Metro) ride away. The good news is that the Metro station is right at the hotel/Mall basement. The bad news is that you need to ask the reception desk or concierge to call a taxi as the hotel entrance is not at the main road. Distance to airport 40 to 70 minutes depending on traffic. Taxi fare ~$40 give or take.

It's a very nice & relatively new hotel.
The staffs are nice and professional: the reception desk, the breakfast service, the housekeeping.. they made me feel very comfortable. The breakfast, SUPERB. prepared with heart.
The hotel is 7 metro stops from city center. in 10 min you're in downtown. It's connected underground to a metro station, which made it super easy to find. A supermarket (billa) is also connected with the hotel: saved me a lot during my stay.
The room is not big but quite clean. Depending on which side your room is, it might be on the street side. Luckily it's not a busy street and with little noise, compared to some hotels I know in downtown.
There is an independent gym in the mall associated with the hotel. Free, however not infinitely. The gym manager allowed me to use it for 20 mins each day. (maybe it's just my package I don't know.) not a big deal though given I'm not in prague to work out.

The only reason I gave 3 to the \"comfort of your room\" is because of my nasty neighbors, which to be honest, is NOT in control of the hotel. A family with two kids were next door to me. Those stupid kids often run in the corridor and made loud noise, even at night. And their parents just let them be. Again, it's not the hotel's fault. Bad guests are everywhere.
Last tip for your stay in Prague, watch out scammers! be careful with taxi, and never exchange money with individuals on street! Police are not helpful with that there.

If you were canny, you could probably sleep 4 in one room !

Be careful to the service you'll get !

The service of the hotel is globally good, but be careful to the Taxi service, it is awful. We booked a taxi for 7 am to the airport. The taxi made available to us at 07h20. After we left the hotel and drove about 15 minutes, the driver had been called by his manager to come back to hotel!!! because \"someone else booked our taxi\"!!! We lost precious time and because of the traffic there was, we arrived at the airport late but fortunately we catched our flight.Then, hotel is good, the service inside also but, in my case, Taxi management is not good at all.

We did stay in Executive rooms so everything was all we expected it to be. We would strongly recommend it also on value for money. It is only about 12 minutes on the underground from the Centre of Prague and it is around 50% cheaper than similar hotels in the Central area

It´s a big hotel, every thing is new, it´s not like those old European hotels, this is very American, big rooms, big bathrooms, it´s not close to the center of Prague, but in the Metro it only takes 15 minutes, the rooms got every thing, safe box, fridge, hair dryer, ironing table, air condition, Internet, the TV channels are bad, The Metro is right next to the hotel, there is also a small mall next to it where you can buy food and put it in the fridge (fruits, sandwiches, etc) the personal speaks english, the breakfast is ok, nothing fancy

Great hotel, shame about the smoking policy!

great hotel, great staff, great food, great location & amenities overall, had everything we needed for a holiday. only major negative - you're greeted into the hotel with a cloud of smoke and stale cigarette stench! such a lovely, modern lobby & bar which is marred by the many smokers that always seem to be there. we couldn't enjoy the bar or use our laptop with the wifi as the wifi point was near the bar amidst all the smoke. they did however seem to be doing something about it - barriers were going up the day we left to separate (or better still, isolate the smokers), so if that's the case we would certainly recommend the clarion for a good value, high quality hotel.
another minor negative was we weren't given any body lotion as expected for a 4* hotel, the shower gel was inadequate (an adult needs 2 of the watery sachets for a good shower and you only get one), we did ask for more or simply got them off the housekeeper.
i would have given the hotel 5 stars if it weren't for the smoking problem so i have given it 4.

Wonderful hotel

I did not encounter one hotel staff that was not helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast had such a wide variety. Eventhough the center was accessible by metro(10-15 minutes), we wished the hotel was closer to the center.

Clarion Congres Hotel Prague - comfortable

We had a nice stay at the Clarion. Good transport links with the metro just meters from the hotel. We had access the the 'Wellness and Fitness' facilities too which pleased my boyfriend. It's located inside a shopping center which can be handy, but it did confuse us slightly when we exited the hotel via the shopping centre exit after hours as all the doors seemed shut, the security guard to let us out. It's easy to get into the centre of Prague from this location so its pretty ideal. If you want to stay in a hotel with character I wouldn't advise staying here as its obviously made to purpose (and very well) but with so much beautiful architecture in Prague this hotel lacks that special charm you would find in a more traditional building. But none the less a lovely and comfortable stay

Lovely Hotel

The Hotel was very comfortable and clean, although it wasn't a central hotel it had easy access by using the Metro which was just outside. It only took about 15-20 mins to the old town with trains every few minutes. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a great choice for everyone.

The hotel manager was very helpful and went out of his way to help us. Our car battery died overnight in the hotel garage, and the manager arranged a quick jump start. He didn't charge us for the service.

The historical, downtown of Prague is easily accessible by the subway stop attached to the hotel.

Great location

The underground and shopping mall so nearby it was really very easy to reach Prague and have all convenients of attending the conference in the hotel
