The reception and bar staff as superb, the hotel is jn a central location, easy to access and rooms can be accessed by lift or stairs.
The breakfast buffet is 5stars - so much choice for continental choice - full English is not a tradition here so please don’t expect black pudding and beans as it’s continental but the food is perfect.
The rooms were not cleaned daily - although we are clean, maybe fresh towels on the 3rd day would have been nice. Also we had to ask for pillows. The spa facility was out of action and I was only notified the day before travelling so cancellation was not an option. I would have preferred to know sooner or offered alternative.
Would I book again, Kosice yes, this hotel, no sorry

The staff was excellent. I got in early a Polarisnd they watched my bag for a couple of hours so I could explore the city. They also suggested a great place for a traditional Slovakian meal.

Very good hotel near the old city.
The rooms were good in general, my only complain were the curtains, it did let the light come from the outside.
The breakfast was excelent with many options.
The spa was also a nice addition to the hotel.
The region around is very walkable with my restaurants and things to do

Lovely hotel

I really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Bristol. The buffet breakfast was amazing and even included a glass of prosecco. The spa and saunas were nice, with robes provided and additional towels. I would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Boutique Hotel Bristol is a simple offering in Košice’s charming old town. The hotel is well located for all travellers, and my room was well appointed, with a comfortable bed, air conditioning unit and powerful shower. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it for a weekend break.

Great Hotel by Old Town

I chose Hotel Bristol because it is on the edge of Old Town. Proved to be a good choice. The hotel had everything we needed and was very close to Old Town and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Great location and nice hotel

Great location, good breakfast. Used their offer of 10% discount on nearby Rosto steak house, great meal. Had a minor issue with dirty coffee cup in room but deal with professionally and was given a bottle of fizz as an apology.

bristol hotel.mixed bag

bristol hotel is a bit of a mixed bag,in a good position in the old town close to cathedral.hotel is comfortable but a couple of things annoyed me immenseley,
firstly you cant adjust the temperature in the room and during my stay it was horrendously hot such that i had to leave the window open all night.!!
secondly i chose the hotel as i had done a lot of driving and hotel advertised a spa and pool...when i got to the pool /spa area i felt the pool which was very cold so i thought id just use the spa and to my horror it was even colder!!!ive been to hotels/cruises all around the world and spas havealways been hot and bubbly.not in slovakia,hotel bristol!!!!
the bristol hotel doesnt have a restaurant but have a link up with the steak restaurant across the road which i discovered is one of the most expensive in slovakia,
based on the cost and information above i wont be staying at the hotel bristol next time in slovakia,kosice.
however the breakfast buffett was good.may i suggest hotel bristol arrange for their pool and spa to be heated appropriately.

Location, location.

This hotel offers a bit of local flavors than most US hotel chains. Noticed receptionists, waitress are all friendly and I would like to mention that breakfast crew are hard working & efficient as well. But as a traveler from abroad, the location couldn’t be any better—next to the town historical center and a pleasant eight minute-walk to the Kosice train station.

Great view!

If you get a room on the 3rd floor, look out the skylight at night. You'll see an absolutely gorgeous view of the adjoining cathedral, which is the largest church in Slovakia.

Near to bus and train main stations. The cleanest bathroom and very shiny. Good size room. Mine faced the street and there was noise at night from cars and people. Ask for room facing car park if this would be a problem for you. Tasty breakfast. WiFi worked well. Very friendly and attentive staff. Nice bar area. There is a closed in smoking area, also a covered courtyard area.

The hotel is convent located one block of the main street. The room was large and nicely decorated. The breakfast (INCLUDED IN OUR PACKAGE) is served in the ground floor dining room. It was very good.
I heartily recommend staying at the Bristol.

I booked a room for two. This included two breakfasts. I was attending my son's graduation and asked him to join me for breakfast. I was disappointed to be cornered by the manager and told I had to pay extra for my son's breakfast, when my room was booked for two, inclusive of this meal. I was happy to pay of course but it was unpleasant to be stopped in this way.

Great place in a fun town

Great location, lovely room with view of the cathedral, fantastic service by all I interacted with. I recommend anyone traveling to try the local language, but it is comforting being at a hotel where everyone's English is flawless. Nice restaurant and cafe. Clean, modern, comfortable. If I'm ever back, this is where I'd come.

Awesome boutique hotel near Old Center

Had a great experience here. The staff was friendly, the inclusive breakfast was good, the location was awesome (I could see Cathedral of St. Elizabeth out the window), and the room was very clean and comfortable (albeit on a slightly small side). What more could you ask for??? The hotel also gave us vouchers for a free welcome drink, which was a nice touch.

Weekend in Eastern Slovakia

Stylish boutique type hotel, nice bar/cafe area with smoking room. Good breakfast. Rooms a good size and nicely equipped. Handy for main sights (2 mins walk) and station (5 mins walk) with restaurants and bars all very near by. Has a spa but didn't have enough time to try out.

Very nice hotel with friendly, professional staff

I stayed at the Bristol a few years ago and I must say that it has improved quite a bit since then. The breakfast has gotten better and the staff has really come into its own. Friendly, helpful and sincere works throughout the hotel made my stay very pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean albeit simple. The bar/cafe area downstairs is a good place for a casual meeting with friends or business associates and the food is good as well. I hope to stay there again.

Friendly staff, good location close to main pedestrian shopping/ eating areas around St Elisabeth cathedral. Secure car parking on site (charged/ day). Dinner menu cheap, freshly cooked + good sized portions. Nice Breakfast (incl) with lots of hot & cold choices, room had simple furniture but well presented. Welcome drink could be beer or soft drink or the most fantastic hot chocolate we've ever had, with fresh cream on top - delicious! 2 free bottles of water in room, but no tea making facilities. Ample sized double rooms, beds firm but comfy with clean bathroom + good shower. Kia Royal champagne cocktail very reasonable cost.

夜、エアコンやヒーターが働かず、少し寒かったです。あと、クラシックホテルであるため、仕方ないのかもしれませんが、ホテル内に段差が多く大型スーツケースは持ち運びに不便でした。
朝食は美味しかったです。

Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer, auch das Bad hatte eine angenehme Größe und sehr gute Pflegeprodukte von L‘Occitane. Die Klimaanlage konnte individuell und problemlos geregelt werden. Der Spa Bereich hat von 16-21:30 geöffnet und bietet einen kleinen Pool, Sauna, Dampfbad, Hammam und ein Saunabecken. Alles war sehr gepflegt und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und es gab eine gute Auswahl (auch für Vegetarier). Das Gepäck konnten wir nach dem Check Out noch in einem versperrten Kasten aufbewahren lassen. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Dom entfernt.

L'hôtel est très bien situé au centre-ville, notre chambre était moderne et fonctionnelle. Le petit déjeuner excellent. Le personnel est très attentif. Preuve en est : notre chauffage ne fonctionnait pas et le lendemain, ils ont réparé la panne du chauffage. Par contre, ce qui pourrait être amélioré, c'est de mettre une bouilloire dans la chambre pour se faire du thé ou du café et mettre également une bouteille d'eau gratuitement à disposition des hôtes. Des petits détails qui comptent ...

Parking complet, aucun solution trouvé par l’établissement a part se garer chez sur le parking d’un voisins qui n’a pas apprécier et l’a fait savoir en remontant les essuies glace du véhicule. De plus le parking afficher gratuit à la réservation et confirmé à l’arrivée par le réceptionniste, puis demande 9e le lendemain matin au check-out ! Hallucinant, à la limite de l’arnaque. Il faut refuser de payer dans cette situation.
L’hôtel en lui même reste correct mais personnel incompétent, je ne recommande pas surtout si vous voyager en voiture.
