Our room was on 10th floor and was absolutely amazing, stylish wooden Japanese style walls with loads of mirrors, a comfortable bed, super modern bathroom with bath and shower. The room was really well equipped including a minibar, safe, hairdryer and a kettle. The breakfast was also great, I loved the locally grown cucumber and tomatoes, Slovakian traditional foods and gluten free bakery available upon request. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best of all the hotel has a gym! The only thing for possible improvement would be the slow lift and the view around the hotel from our room. But I’d definitely recommend Yasmin to anyone who wants to stay in Košice and will stay there again! For me 10/10

The front desk lady was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good night sleep, which is very important. The room was quiet. It had a beautiful view from the huge window. The breakfast in the morning had a small but good selection. The staff was very helpful. Their cappuccino machine made the best cappuccinos.
The only negative thing that I found was that the carpet looked old and had stains, the room was too dark for my taste.

Views and Location

Front desk at check-in started our stay with a wonderful start - welcoming and charming! Our room had an incredible view! It was quiet, great air conditioning, and a comfortable room. The location is great to access the center for endless dining, snd wonderful exploring. Gym was decent too. Breakfast was simple but has all the hot/cold options you’d want/need. We also had free parking. Highly recommended!

The hotel is oldfashioned if not outdated, smellt plastic, furniture out of touch,
Big ground but No swimmingpool,
Restaurant is clised for private function,
No balcony!

Probably one of the nicer hotels in Kosice. Can't complain about anything. They were hosting several young women athletic teams from different countries while I was there but I still received hospitality.

Old town Košice is within 0.5 - 1.5 km of the hotel, with many statues, churches, museums, restaurants, cafes, etc. It is a small city.

I enjoyed my stay.

Short walk to central area of old
Town. Friendly staff and good choice of breakfast. Shower flooded the bathroom floor but this was cleaned up by room staff. Some rooms a little smoky but not too off putting.

Standard quality hotel in Kosice

The hotel is located not too far from the city centre but the surrounding areas cannot be considered the best in the city. The walking distance to the city centre is not more than 12 minutes (1 kilomtre approximatedly). The breakfast was of a standard quality. The personnel was quite helpful and extremely kind, all of them spoke english.

Liked the building style and decor. Very nice! Arrived at 9:10 on a Friday night and was told restaurant closed at10, but restaurant staff had already closed the kitchen and only the bar was open. Found a small nearby hotel was accommodating for dinner thankfully.
Location is not ideal but still can walk to the somewhat dingy old town in reasonable distance.

A very good hotel in Kosice

This is a really good hotel and if you get it via hotels.com for a good price then it is totally worth it. Rooms are equivalent to the 4-star standard and the personell is really attending and friendly. Breakfast is plentiful and with good variety, however if you do not have it included in the price, it is quite expensive. The only problem is the bar, which is not open later into the night, then there is no possibility to buy drinks in the hotel. All in all a very good hotel, probably one of the best in the city.

Everything was mostly very good. Carpet could be cleaner but still alright. WiFi quite slow but alright for browsing. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom very nice. Price said that it includes taxes and fees but I still had to pay city tax.
To sum up, great place for staying over night.

Located within walking distance to town center. What I did not like was that the hallways were not well lit. Also, the shower area had a glass wall that prevented anyone answering the door if someone was in the shower. Definite privacy issure if family traveling together.

Poor breakfast!

The staff in hotel were mostly friendly except on checkout the lady was not pleasant!
Room was a non smoking room yet there was a strong smell of smoke coming through air conditioning.
Bathroom door had no proper handle you had to pull it strongly to close.
No proper bar in place.
Breakfast very poor. Food poor quality and hot food dried up and cold.
Buffet was cleared away st 10.29.
Not a hotel to relax in!

Good hotel but poor breakfast.

We had a room on 11 floor - fantastic view.
Very close to old town. The bar is closed during weekend as the hotel is almot empty.
Breakfast very expensive €12, you expect the best quality food but you get nothing special. The coffee is awful.
In general - good hotel but they should improve the food.

A lovely place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Yasmin in Kosice. All the staff were very helpful and the Hotel was spotlessly clean and fresh. It has a good atmosphere and was well placed for walking into the city for the sights and restaurants. You can find every type of food available in the many restaurants who were very welcoming. We will hopefully be visiting again in the Autumn.

Slightly outside the immediate center of town but a short walk from the main street/square. Comfortable and stylish. Essentially a \"panelak\" (concrete apartment building) but they have renovated it to perfection with golden mosaic tiles covering the outside, and pleasant wooden accents throughout inside. Surprisingly good restaurant with friendly staff.

Overall a good hotel to say.

We had booked a junior suite which was well appointed however the wifi was terrible. The views were good and hotel located not far from the city center.

The only down side was the service in the restaurant - Very slow.

My first impression of the hotel was that it was built in the 60s with lots of shiny black and chrome but it was actually built in 2009. It was immaculate. The room was comfortable with everything I needed. The WIFI was free and the connection was good. There was a buffet breakfast for 9 euros with lots of choice. It was half a mile from the centre but it was a pleasant walk or there was a bike hire for 5 euros. The area behind the hotel was a bit run down. Kosice is well worth a visit. The centre is a wide tree lined promenade full of bars and restaurants around the stunning Cathedral. It was a European city of Culture in 2009 I think.

Great hotel and a lovely stay. The room was excellent as was the food we had. It's very close to the city centre but Kosice can best be described as needing a bit of TLC and that was reflected in the immediate area. Would have no hesitation recommending it.

Modern room, on a small side, bathroom not very practical, at this level I would expect a hairdryer! Nowhere to put your towels while in a shower/bathtub, which is unnecessary high, may be an issue for older less fit people.....
Staff and food in the restaurant hit and miss. Breakfast not spectacular but very good.

Typical Expedia Shambles

Expedia had made a wholly inappropriate hotel available to us. I booked a room for my family and myself and paid for it in full totally oblivious to the fact that it was wholly inappropriate. The booking confirmation e-mail from Expedia provided showed \"2 adults, 1 child\" but on arrival found that Hotel Yasmin only had rooms containing beds for two people. We could only have an extra bed by booking another room.

Needless to say, we spent a very cramped, uncomfortable night. None of us slept well at all and this problem resulted in a dreadful end to what otherwise was a pleasant summer holiday.

I have raised a strong complaint with Expedia about this.

The standard of the hotel itself and our room could not be faulted and the centre of Kosice is beautiful.

Room was large and on the 8th floor provided a good view of the surrounding area. All the facilities were provided mini bar LCD TV good strong WiFi in the room. The breakfast was good value for 6 Euros which consisted included cold or hot menus.

Overall a good place to stay. Initially given a corner room where there was no wi fi reception but they changed our room promptly. Rooms clean, beds a bit hard. Breakfast good. Had a couple of other meals in restaurant which were very good.
Some staff very friendly and helpful but others less so. This seems typical for Slovakia

great all round hotel, very helpful staff

Due to train connections arrived 4 hours early. Like most hotels, they let me leave my bags there and then organised my room to be available 2 hours before check in... really nice considering I must have looked like hell after being awake for around 30 hours haha.
Room was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good variety of foods.
Maybe a 5 minute walk from the city centre. Great internet access.
