This is exactly what I want in a hotel, especially as a solo traveller.
24 hr desk, affordable rooms, walkable location, very clean, clear communication. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
The rooms were spotless and I loved the retro tiles in the bathroom!

Staff were great and we found the hotel with ease. Room was perfect for our overnight stay. Location was brilliant, just a 10 minute walk from the Porta Romana metro stop. loads of cool bars and restaurants close by too. We left on a Friday and there was a huge street market on the main road beside the hotel which looked amazing also! Overall great stay, definitely will be back to Milan!

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and spacious with A/C that actually worked amazingly!! The area is perfect with everything you need in close proximity, but not super busy. Also a super easy quick transit to the centre of Milan. Would definitely come back in the future!

Very easily accessible from Milan with a tram stop a couple of minutes away. Receptionist was very helpful and make us feel welcome.

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for two nights. Impressed us a lot is the service provided by the receptionist, Stefania who helped us a lot, solved our problems. Besides, she is so sincere and wears smiles all the times.

Hotel Palladio for being a 1 star hotel is very clean comfortable size room for 3 adults and bathroom, i felt comfortable and pleased staying here. The security was amazing i felt safe staying g here It’s located 10/15 min from the Duomo by the tram. The Tram bus stop is located right next to the hotel. Near the hotel there is an amazing restaurant called I tentacoli definitely recommended. I leave very pleased by stay here at the hotel palladio

Overall it is what it is you could hear everything withing rooms walls are paper thin.
And worst part was reception messed up with the check in and didn’t get my info right so at middle night of night when i was sleeping they called me over and over again then instead of allowing me to get dressed knocked on my door and the qoute on qoute new guy came into my room when i was in my underwear and my wife sleeping overall unprofessional.

This was an ideal European hotel.
Awkward entrance, tiny elevator, tiny room, and tiny bathroom space. I stand at 5’10” and about 200lbs, and had struggle fitting and maneuvering in the shower. The shower was tiny. Plus there’s no space to place personal items (soap, deodorant, toothbrush, lotions) anywhere.

The staff were nice, but they’re only available during daytime hours. We stayed two nights, which was enough.
The stay wasn’t bad, but the furniture, and amenities are noticeably old, worn out and vintage.

Good value but then noticeably cheap hotel choice for Milan. Easy to get to via public transport. Be aware that reception closes at 9.30pm for anyone arriving late! No iron was not great for going there on a work trip. Basic but with character and definitely worthwhile if travelling on a budget.

The area where the hotel is located isn't bad, safe and green, but there's absolutely nothing to do there. I walked daily easily 10-12 km to see the sights, go to nice eating facilities and stores.
The hotel itself is strikingly unattractive, with 1960 furniture, tiny uncomfortable pillows, scratchy blankets and TV with nothing but a plethora of channels in Italian.
No services in the hotel( i.e. coffee shop, restaurants, kiosk), the receptionists work in my estimate about half a day, nobody at the reception before 12 pm.
My plane arrived at 9 am, they didn't let come back till 3.30 pm, their checking time.
I will never ever go back to this establishment!

Older hotel in nice neighborhood

The hotel is older and in a working-class neighborhood - a lot of shop, restaurants and apartments. It is a 5-minute walk from the Metro. The room was clean and spacious. The balcony overlooks a courtyard, but nothing spectacular.

This place is phenomenal! A stay here is worth your money and time. It was way more than we expected. Everything in the room felt so comfortable. The lack of breakfast or other things one could expect in hotel is not a problem at all considering the quality of our stay. The double bed is very comfortable but it’s made of two mattresses. So there can be a gap formed in the middle. Overall excellent stay!!

We stayed at Hotel Palladio for one night after traveling all day from Civitavecchia. Public transportation is a short 10-15 minute walk to the hotel. When we arrived, right before we pressed the buzzard to be let in, the front desk agent opened the door to let us in. Our check in was quick and easy, he gave us some information about sites to see, transportation and check out. When we got to our room it was really warm but we turned on the AC and our night was comfortable. The area around the hotel was quiet and there were a few places for coffee and small breakfast nearby. Also, if you've never been to Italy during the summer, there are a lot of mosquitoes, bring some spray, wipes or balm. We enjoyed our stayed overall and would recommend.

Warning. They charge you a 40 Euro fee if you check in after 10pm, but youd be lucky because the receptionist goes home at 11pm and that it if you arrive even later. Once you are inside the hotel is fine, with large rooms but it's not very clean and there are NOT services.

The property was very basic, nothing really special about it. Had an elevator which was a plus. No breakfast option, which was kind of inconvenient. Room was slightly small. Heater did not work and when we contacted staff about it, someone came up to the room to look at it but due to the language barrier, there was some miscommunication and unclear about what the heater situation was after he left.

The hotel was set in a lovely building with a courtyard and staff were friendly and helpful the room was big enough for me and my daughter and very clean. Only had 8 channels on the tv and they were all Italian but wasn't there to watch tv so that didn't bother me...was out sightseeing all day...the hotel was in walking distance of shops restaurants and the bus and on Friday the street next to the hotel is closed off for a market which wax an unexpected bonus...would stay here again...

Excellent staff and bedrooms! We were lucky and got a room with a balcony. We stepped outside and it was incredible! There's a school across the street from the hotel and there's a gelateria. If you walk towards the croquetta Metro station there are local bakeries and businesses. We encountered mostly locals and it was amazing! Overall it was a great hotel for a 3 night stay.

Overall the hotel is great value, well connected by and underground to the city centre and railway stations. Staff are very kind and helpful. The wardrobe in our room had its doors broken and the mattress was too soft for us. The bathroom was outside the room but for our use only, this was ok. We had our own key so could leave our stuff inside.

Good hotel when visiting milano in a budget. The hotel is in a residencial area of milano, so if you are looking to feel like a local for a few days this is your place. Hotel is around 10 minutes walking from the metro station which will give you access to the city center (Duommo). Staff was very nice and helpful.

Slighty out of the centre, but great on a budget

We arrived at the hotel around 9am and they let us have the room even though check in is not until 3pm as the room was ready. Our bathroom was external but right across from our room so not an issue. The room was big and the bed comfortable, and they loaned us an Italian plug adapter without charge which was great. The hotel is 2 minutes from the tram stop to the city centre, and 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. There was no breakfast option unfortunately but there were a few cafes/bistros nearby. The air conditioning didn't function but the room was cool anyway. Overall a very pleasant stay on a budget, would recommend for anyone staying in Milan for a few days.
