This was our second stay at Hotel Villa Sirina, as always it was lovely!

Staff were very nice, breakfast was good but the same every day. We had a superior sea facing room which was okay with a nice view but would have appreciated a couple of comfy chairs and some drinks in the fridge and milk for tea & coffee. The toiletries provided limited as were the sachets of coffee (only 2 a day ☹️).
We stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time @ 69 & 76 & quite fit we were able to get around without a car, there are plenty of buses and the train station was 15 minutes walk away as was Giardini Naxos. So much to see & do in a beautiful area.

Views from the hotel and the surrounding area are just fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. The pool is very good. Breakfasts are good. Parking tricky like most of Italy. Bed and pillows ok but not great. Used buses and taxis to access nearby Taormina and Castelmola further up the hill.

This property is beautifully situated and I really felt I was in Sicily! It’s quaint and the staff is very helpful, especially the woman who set up breakfast, Georgina?
She also made/ brought lunch on the veranda. It is up on the mountain, half way up to Taormina Centro where all the action is. So, we had to spend money on taxis as it was not an easy walk for. For me anyway. lol. If you don’t mind the walk, or if I’d have a car, by all means Villa Sirina is well worth it.

the Villa is located at one of the best location you can find for the price. The staff / manager couldn't be any nicer, accommodating. The breakfasts were a delight, as they were served on the patio by the pool, with view over the sea. On top, the villa has free parking, which is a prime aspect knowing how Taormina gets congested (5 mins drive up).

Lovely little boutique hotel with fabulous staff (especially Giovanna!) You can walk to Taormina but it's up a brutal hill and took us (two reasonably fit people in our thirties) about 40 minutes in 32 degree heat. However, the buses are very regular and not a problem! Breakfast is decent, pool is lovely and quiet. The place is absolutely spotless and clean.

We spent 4 nights in this property. You can walk to the bus station and train station. Breakfast was very good and pastries were beautiful. You need to carry luggages and walk on stairs.

We had a very nice stay here. The hotel is slightly removed from the town, so a car was helpful but you could also use public transport. The view from the room was stunning. The breakfast was decent and the staff were amazing. Giovanna welcomed us at breakfast every morning with a smile and impeccable service. We also loved being greeted by Narina, the hotel dog.

We love this hotel! We never return to the same place twice but love that it feels like home here. Breakfast is amazing and the lady who serves us each day is gorgeous. We love hiking up to Taormina but being near Naxos although most normal people probably get the bus which is super close and easy. The pool is always quiet, it feels like we have jt to ourselves regularly.

Pretty old style hotel, although amenities were a bit basic. We had a large room with lovely sun terrace overlooking the pool. Very clean. Breakfast was reasonable. It is walkable to Taormina but it should be noted the road is quite dangerous.

We were really pleased with our stay. The hotel is not in Taormina town but down the hill near the hospital and is a bit to far to walk to get to Taormina but there is a good cheap bus service on the main road about 300 meters away. The reception staff explained where the but stop was and provided bus timetables with the bus stops highlighted. All the staff are helpful and pleasant. The seafront is easily walkable as is the railway station and we would recommend a day trip on the train to Siracruse only 8 euro each way. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We had a good room and a very good breakfast with a lovely lady serving coffees etc. Shortcomings are that the place is slightly past its best. The doors squeal, simply throughlack of WD40!, there is no lift and everything is quite well-worn. WIFI was patchy. Parking is a bit tricky as space is somewhat limited.
Don't expect much of a smile from the guy behind he desk - something of the curmudgeon we thought but maybe he was having a bad day!

Unfortunately our airplane was delayed so we were late arriving at hotel and only stayed one night. Hotel is very nice, staff were friendly and very helpful. Location is great, in between Giardini-Naxos (walking distance) and Taormina. Great having somewhere so close to everything and also have free parking and breakfast. Room was spacious.

We stayed here for two nights visiting Taomina. Very clean property with good breakfasts. The pool is not huge but very well kept and fine for a quick dip. I would point out that the hotel is in the middle of a mountain range with Taomina city located above and the hotel is next to a curving switch back road up to the city. So like other travelers posted, you can't walk up to Taomina. We took taxis which cost 15 Euro each way. However, the local means it is quiet and away from the city hustle. So if you have a car or are ok with using the taxis, this is a great place. Very quaint and clean.

Hotel staff were very pleasant and the view from our room was beautiful. It was also my favorite hotel for breakfast options during our stay in Italy. However, the bed was the most uncomfortable, very hard. It was also a little far from the town and we had to take a bus which was about a 5 minute walk up/down hill, but, definitely doable. It was a great place but, maybe not for a short stay, only 2 nights for us. Overall beautiful hotel and would still recommend but, a little far from town.

The hotel was excellent the staff were very friendly though you'd better brush up on your Italian if you want a conversation. The room was spacious with a large balcony and great view of the sea. Note that if you want to go to Taormina itself you'll need to take the car as the hotel is only part way up from the sea. The hotel is a short walk from the stony beach at Giardini Naxos where there are a limited number of restaurants within walking distance it's best to go into town.

Lovely building with lots of antiques and relatively modern facilities. The people are very nice, the wifi works well, the breakfast was good, the pool was very nice, and the garden is a dream. The location is relatively quiet. It was quite warm one afternoon, and the air-conditioning did not work. After some time it was fixed, but the unit produced only warm air. Soon it ceased to function altogether and we gave up. I imagine conditions will be very difficult in the summer months if it remains disfunctional; we were there in early May. There is parking on site, which is essential in this region.

This hotel was a beautiful traditional place to stay. However there were problems - the main one being the location. It was on a very busy corner of a busy road. It was on the outskirts of Tropea and you could not walk anywhere from it.

We needed a room for one night,and came across Villa Sirina.
It is a nice,family-run hotel,the staff is amazing and the room was a good size with a terrace and a nice view.
The only negative is a very firm mattress on the bed,but the many other positives outweigh that.

Hotel was exceptionally clean and staff,owners were very friendly and efficient. Our room overlooked the swimming pool and down to the sea. Large balcony to sit on and enjoy those views. Short walk downhill into town which had plenty of restaurants to choose from. Breakfast buffet was lovely sitting on the terrace. Plenty of everything , pastries,fresh fruit,cereals , bacon and eggs.
The hotel is close to Taormina but it would be a very steep walk to get there plus there is no footpath so I don't think I would recommend it. The local bus is only €3 euros return so that is the better option. We did have a car and there was free parking at the hotel. Sightseeing tours are plentiful so you could stay here without a car. The railway station is also close if you wish to use trains.

This hotel is a lovely old villa,,very clean spacious public rooms rooms and lovely friendly and helpful staff.The lovely Manuela and Luigi, Guissepe and Slav to name a few. The breakfast which we had on the garden terrace was really good with an amazing choice. Towels changed daily and beds every other day.Fantastic air conditioning in the bedrooms which was needed and appreciated. Great pool kept very clean.The hotel is near a busy road and the hospital and there is some noise but after a day you cease to notice it. A short walk down into Guardini Naxos or a 10 minute bus ride up into Taormina(3 euros return). We spent 3 nights here and were sad to leave.

Lovely setting and very calm hotel. This is family run and it shows as all staff are really polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast outside near the pool and the sun shining - bliss!!! We had a lovely room overlooking the pool area with view to sea beyond.

We like to stay at good hotels that are quiet but not far from the main attractions. This is a perfect hotel if you want that. It has parking and a very nice pool. The hotel is Managed by very nice people, Salvatore and his wife, and with a great staff. Coffee is usually good in Italy but in Villa Sirina we had the best coffee, breakfast was very nice, and the hotel is decorated with great taste. I am highly recommending it to friends that want to go to Taormina. If you have a car, a short drive will bring to a parking lot that is located at the beginning of the main street in Taormina. Downtown Taormina is just a few minutes away.

This is a warm and inviting hotel, with a staff to match. Unfailing helpful and kind describes the staff. The hotel is spotless. Breakfast excellent. It has a wonderful outdoor area with a pool, tables and chairs and very comfortable loungers. Bar is right there, and service with a smile. I really can’t overstate what a wonderful stay we had. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay minutes from Taormina this is it. My only caution is that a car would be helpful since lunch and dinner are not available at the hotel. Walking down to the town and some excellent restaurants is a ten minute walk – very pleasant. Walking up to Taormina would be a hike. So this is a great place to use as base, or just stay for a very quiet and enjoyable vacation.

A Wonderful, warm and welcoming place to stay
Hotel Sirina is right on the seacoast, with spectacular views. It is also next to the road that you can drive up to a parking garage, take the elevator up and walk directly out to the tourist town of Taromina. Taromina is a great place to visit, eat and shop. But returning to Hotel Sirina, lying by the pool and getting away from the crowds of Taromina is a real gift. There are also many delightful places to eat in Giardini, that are a short walk from the hotel.

Hotel Sirina is a lovely small hotel. Friendly and helpful service with lovely balcony in our room looking over pool and Sea. Comfortable, but not fancy. We felt very welcome there and would highly recommend. Free parking is also available. The hotel is down the hill from the old town of Taormina and not readily walkable since the road up to Taormina is extremely steep with switchbacks and no sidewalks for walkers. If you are comfortable driving in those condi however, it is very close. Great value and would recommend!

We had not realised Taormina is on top of a steep hill. Too far to walk on a hot day. This will be common to any hotel not in the centre of the town and is not a criticism of the hotel - who did advise us to take the car for the short drive to the car park.

The hotel is a little jewel in Taormina. It is family run and attention is focused on guests feeling at home and welcome. The lobby and breakfast room are elegantly appointed and the outside pool area is beautiful and with glorious views of the ocean and mountains. The breakfast was not merely plentiful, but there were also hot items and freshly baked homemade cookies. The woman serving in the breakfast room greeted us each day with warmth and wasattentive to our requests. This is a wonderful hotel to stay at when visiting Taormina.

Had a pleasent 6 night stay. The staff was wonderful and committed to be at your service. The hotel itself seem more like a B&B. Not very modern, but nice simple and comfortable. Unfortunately Mt. Etna is just out of site but this hotel is nicely centered, A 10 min walk down to the beach and 5-10 min cab ride up to Taromina. The only down sides is it's next to a hospital so the occasional siren can be heard (rare). Also depending on the side you are on, you either have a sea view or a hillside view, call ahead.
Over all this hotel was a wonderful stay and I would recommend it to fellow travelers.

Room was kept very clean. However the room is very basic . The toilet flush is not working. Safe provided in the room is from 30 years ago and tiny.

We had a one night stay here during our recent holiday touring Sicily. Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds; room was very nice, comfortable bed, bathroom of good standard with complimentary toiletries. Balcony overlooking the gardens and swimming pool. Breakfast in a nice dining room was very good - plenty of choice. Staff very nice and spoke good English; lovely lady who was singing! Car parking on site. Hotel is walking distance of Giardini Naxos for bars and restaurants; you need to take the car to Taormina (5 minute drive to secured car park), if you try to walk it is a very steep hill on a very winding road that has no path. It is also a fairly busy road. Would recommend this hotel.

Such a strategic position thus allows our guests to enjoy a complete holiday, sharing their time between the seaside, shopping , restaurants, excursions, night-life, exhibitions, concerts, opera and ballet performances which take place in the ancient Greek Amphitheatre between June and September. The building, constructed about 45 years ago, came into existence, because of a romance, a promise of marriage and the beginning of a lovely family.
He came from a far distant town, whereas she was from Taormina. After some time and after many love-filled visits, they decided to get married and start a family together.
Thirty years later, the family decided to transform the place into a holiday residence, so over 10 months' restructuring took place– the walls, the windows and terraces, all the electric and water plants , all the window and door frames were overhauled, the finest, oak patterned flooring laid, the walls re-decorated and high-quality fittings provided for all the bathrooms. All the work was carried out by dedicated local craftsmen.
The result is a series of apartments and suites. The interiors and the decorative elements are all strictly Italian, including the fabrics, the workmen, the furniture, the curtain-makers, the lamp-producers, the people who made the sofas, armchairs, chairs, cupboards carried out their work with loving attention to the smallest detail, so that a guest can feel as comfortable and at home as possible, surrounded by beautiful interiors.
Taormina is at the centre of a historic and highly picturesque area which captures the admiration of visitors from Italy and from all over the world, increasing the number of people who crowd the narrow streets of the ancient town every year.
