This was our first time in Budapest and we travelled to the hotel using the airport express bus. It is a less than 10 minute walk from the bus stop and a great base for exploring the city. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was warm, well maintained and the hotel offers everything you need for short city break with a fantastic breakfast buffet with a choice for everyone. My only negative (which is out of the control of the hotel) is that it can be quite noisy outside if you have a low floor outward facing room - we were on the 1st floor. If you are a light sleeper like me, then maybe request a high floor on internally facing room. Apart from that, would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

The rooms were not as described. We booked for 5 adults and were told when we called that they could put a cot in the one of the two rooms as had been done by other hotels. When we arrived, it was a crib. Worse yet, they told us it was what we asked for and charged us a small fortune for another room.

The rooms were utilitarian but comfortable. Wide variation in room quality though.

The hotel amenities all close early as well, which was unfortunate because we never saw the wellness centre.

Room & Maintenance Issues
On the first night, the room air-conditioning/heater unit was excessively noisy. I contacted the front desk and was assured that a maintenance technician would be sent to attend to the issue. However, no one came. I called again and received the same assurance, but once again, no action was taken.

On the same call, I requested the General Manager’s email address, which was dismissed by the staff member, who stated that it was “not necessary.” Only during this third call was I finally offered a room change.

Poor Service Recovery & Staff Attitude
When I eventually moved rooms, porter assistance was only offered after I had already brought three pieces of luggage down to the lobby myself, by which point the offer was no longer useful. Throughout these interactions, the staff’s attitude was notably nonchalant and lacked any sense of urgency or empathy.

Key Card & Booking Handling Issue
The following day, upon returning to my room, my key card stopped working. At the front desk, I was attended by the same staff member who had checked me in. I was told that this was because I had separate bookings and that I would need to come down again the next day to revalidate my key. When I asked if this would happen again, the response was a casual “yes.”
Overall, this stay was marked by:

The hotel staff was wonderful very very helpful in fixing an excursion that I messed up. The room was very clean and very comfortable. We had a standard room, if you don’t like street noise ask for one on the courtyard we were on the second floor and up until 11 o’clock you could hear people on the street. Didn’t bother us as we go to bed late. Great location just inside the Jewish quarter very close to main public transportation. The breakfast was plentiful. Everything was good. The next day not prepared as well but I’m sure they would’ve corrected something if we asked. All in all, I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Overall the hotel was good. The breakfast was good and had a nice variety. The room was nice and clean. The window opens so that was nice. They had the heater going so no A/C. During the day the room can get warm. I left the window open and it helped balance the temp.

The hotel is in a good walking location to lots of restaurants, events and sights to see.

Great location for visiting the main sights and good choice for breakfast . Had a deluxe room but it overlooked the street and at night it was noisy and we couldn’t open the window due to the noise . The AC had been turned off throughout the hotel even though autumn daytime temperatures were 19degrees so the rooms were quite warm and stuffy . Nonetheless a great stay with helpful staff !

The hotel is stunning and the location is great for getting around the city.
The a/c didn’t work as the heating is now on for winter. Our room on the 6th floor was really hot but, the maintenance team did provide a fan to help.
Breakfast was abit limited and the quality of meat a very thick bacon was very fatty.
Some of the concierge knowledge on public transport was a little sketchy but, we found our way with a map and google.
Lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep which is great at night if you don’t want to venture too far at night.
The robes provided are perfect for the spa & the mini bar is great if you arrive in the evening before you can get to a shop for provisions.

The towels are very thin and worn
Otherwise a great hotel but when you can’t sleep because it’s too hot (in October) then it spoils the holiday

The nigt was very warm and condition doesn't work at all.The noise was coming from reception area.,we saw some man was standing at hotel reception open air area and they were disgusting about something, made a lot of noise.The breakfast was OK,but no Prosecco ,which are always served at this class hotels in all Europe.Dissapointing.

What a grand hotel! We enjoyed our time here - the staff from the moment we arrived were very welcoming and helpful with tourist information and the room was spacious and clean, with a good sized bathroom. We enjoyed both the indoor heated and outdoor pool as well as the Swedish and Infra red saunas- didn’t get a chance to use the gym unfortunately. Great location just a short walk to so many dining and bar options. Even though we were in a busy area the hotel was very quiet and slept well in the plush bed. We would definitely stay again if we return to Budapest. Thank you !

An excellent stay, we were very well looked after and can recommend. Only drawback of the stay was the absence of English Tea at breakfast. However a manager by the name of Levente, was excellent and always seemed to source us a tea bag, a very lovely and helpful person. Very nice hotel in excellent location. Helpful staff. The standard double room was an adequate size and although on second floor it was very quiet. Breakfast good. Ordered a room service meal one evening which arrived fairly quickly and was very tasty. Roof top area for relaxing but so much to see in Budapest did not have time to avail of the facilities! Only complaint was that bedroom mattress was not comfortable. All considered would definitely consider staying here again.

The spa area was nice, two pools and plenty of loungers and chairs spread across the decks. We wanted a massage on Sunday but we left it too late to book on Sunday morning as they were already full

The room was clean but very small, not a lot of space for two people to manoeuvre around. These days I think a firm mattress is more common than soft - this bed was super soft, you sank into it - suits some but wasn’t for us.
The bathroom was a good size but not optimal. The shower was tiny and the tray a simple plastic square which didn’t feel safe. There is plenty of space to create shower of a walk in style but double in nature

The bar was well staffed and attentive however the ambiance was more like of a coffee shop and not a bar.

The location is good, quite central and next to a food hub (street food) so lots of choice on the door step

The hop on hop off bus is at the end of the street so quite handy.

2) The magnetic door closing strip was useless on the shower and there was a gap at the bottom of the shower door where the water spewed out.
3) One morning there was no hot water
4)The TV Youtube app would not play above 720HD
8) This room is right by the staff rest/maintenance room where you constantly get the door slamming sending a bang through the room.

Hotel is nice and clean inside, there are 2 pools. Lots of food options around the area. Hotel is located in the back street, however, we do feel safe walking in late at night as there were always people walking.
Breakfast needs to be improve, we were there for 4 days, no change to breakfast, staled bread, diluted juices.

All the work was carried out by dedicated local craftsmen.

The result is a series of apartments and suites.
