Amazing view - if stairs are not a problem for you

This property should note for everybody STAIRS STAIRS STAIRS everywhere and all the time!
For people who are not well-moveable absolutely unsuitable accommodation :(

For others - amazing view from every room :))

Also there is problem with parking. So this property should not announce that there is parking available. It is not true for everybody.

We came in winter and heating was not working, so there was very cold in a room.

Amazing stay at villa Greta! You can see all!

Amazing location. Although difficult to reach close to the top of the mountain, on the way to Castelmola, has wonderful rooms with terrace and nice view. It is not you regular hotel. Built in a rock it's a hilly hotel! But great! Nice buffet Italian breakfast! all rooms very clean, good TV and powerful reliable WiFi!

Beautiful place. Hotel was great. My only 2 complaints were that water in the shower didn't get hot,just lukewarm, and the bed was hard/uncomfortable. The view from the window was great. Hotel staff excellent. Safe area but have to walk up steep hill, stairs to get to hotel and room.

Cute with amazing views, but low grill

The hotel room was very lovely, clean and modern with of course amazing views over Etna. We were greeted nicely to the hotel. Please note that unless you plan on taking a lot of taxis, and are less mobile, the hotel is only accessible via some very steep stairs from the town. What let the hotel down for us was the complete lack of sound insulation between rooms. Wearing headphones at 1am trying to block out noisy neighbours ruined the experience for us. However the place is a good price and could suit people not bothered by this sort of thing!

wonderful views!

beautiful view to Etna and Taormina from the room, a balcon and from the restaurant where we ate the breakfast - good products, cheese, ham, jogurt, croissants, butter, rolls. No wifi in our room, working in the restaurant, service speak English very well,old furniture and equipment. Recommend due to extra views.

Generally nice hotel. Rooms were very clean. Most with their own terraces / balconies with excellent views of the bay and Mt Etna. Breakfast basic but nice. Hotel is situated at the top of the hill so it is a bit of a climb up and down to the town.

Bar and restaurant quite expensive - would have been more likely to stay there in the evening for meal/drinks if more reasonably priced. Better value drinks and food in the town.

Had requested a taxi to take us to the train station for 7am - this was booked by a member of staff the night before. Unfortunately the taxi did not arrive and we missed our train. This was most likely the fault of the taxi company but no-one was around in the hotel at that time to help us find another and we ended up walking with our bags down the hill to the station.

Stunning views

A Lovely stay which offers and easy 10 minute walk to central Taormina alternatively take a bus outside your door, or up to Castelmola. Morning breakfast offers lovely relaxed service with very friendly staff and the restaurant offers some traditional culinary delights. overall we had a fabulous stay in Taormina and highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Hotel owner ok but female reception staff very unfriendly and rather abrupt. This hotel has so many steps to get to reception and rooms ( around 50 from top entrance). plus to get to the hotel one has to walk uphill for about 1 KM some rather steep roads and steps. It is not for the elderly , young families or normal people. The rooms are very basic.The breakfast is basic and same. If you eat meat then you will be eating with the wasps who get to the sliced ham before you. The staff seem indifferent to this.All in all not one I would stay at again or recommend to any of my friends.

Absolutely great views

Hotel overlooks mt Etna and the coast, very beautiful. Should also do dinner at the hotel dining area for a night coz it is so romantic to watch the sunset. Have the mussel pot, delicious! Only downside is u hv to climb up and down daily (abt 15min) to get to the main plaza and it is quite a distance to walk to the bus station even with the shortcut (I got lost!)

The hotel is quite good. What you would expect from a 2-star I guess (since we've never been to a 2-star I cannot compare with others). Breakfast is scarce as what they give you is what you have to eat. No choice, which was quite a disappointment.

The hotel is up on the hill about 15 mins walk up hill and a load of steps when you get to the hotel, so if you have a bags need a taxi up and down to town which will cost about €20. The bed' are fold out bed and very uncomfortable we had a double which was 2 pushed togther but on my side under the mattress was 2 planks of would were the spring had broke on the bed. Nice view of town and etna but not wort the hassle of hill and bad bed also the toilet smelled of urine all the time which could be just the heat and drains etc.. If you are looking for cheap one night maby but other wise stay somewere else

A quirky hotel with fantastic views. The room was pretty basic but functional and the staff very very helpful. It's a 20 minute climb up the steps from the town but that was part of the fun and you can always take a rest and look at the view.

Great view but very unfriendly staff!!!

The hotel has a very nice location with views over the sea and Mount Etna (that was the reason for booking it), however I had a very bad experience with their staff, including the owner. First of all, the room I was offered was different from what I booked and didn't have central heating. The air conditioning system was providing only cold air and I was freezing during the night. However, I am allergic to air conditioning and could not have used it anyway. The hotel should mention that they only use air conditioning for heating. It was cold in the bathroom too, as the room/bathroom have only a wooden roof. The shower cabin was tiny! When I checked out the owner was not available to talk to me about my complain and one member of the staff came with ridiculous excuses as they only use air conditioning in Italy and if I can't stand it I should not return to the country!
One good point for them: the room and bathroom were very clean! But the surroundings were quite in a mess because they were doing some refurbishment! I could not enjoy my stay there!

Happy times

Having stayed in Taormina previously we knew where we were going to be in relation to the town centre so on reading other reviews that put location as a negative its misleading as this is part of the whole beauty of Taormina, a picturesque town set on a mountain side.
Staff at the hotel were helpful and courteous. We had a few small issues, but they were dealt with immediately.
The room no.33 was spacious, with two basins in the bathroom and a very warm powerful shower. The double bed was two singles together but that made for a good nights sleep. We had a private balcony with the stunning view of Etna and the bay.
Breakfast was plenty, a bowl of cereal, fresh fruit to help yourself. On the table a croissant and two rolls each, meat or cheese fillings and coffee or tea.
For the money paid this was definately value for money and would recommend this for a 2* stay.

Do not spend money on Postcards till you've seen this view

Normally we skip these \"polls\" from the webpages, but this hotel was so uplifting that we had to write a recommendation...
A great family-owned Hotel located on the mountainside! Amazing view overlooking Toarmina, the sea and Etna. Friendly and kind staff. We had a pleasant stay and would certainly recommend it - as you won't be dissapointed (if you don't mind climbing stairs:)

Lovely little hotel. Clean and staff are very friendly. Much better than I expected from a 2 star hotel. Only a few minutes walk down a lot of steps to main part of town. Views from balconies are amazing.
Very reasonably priced...would definitely recommend it.

Well after being greeted in a nice way
we was taken to are room,
which was in a nice location
but i did notice a smell of damp in the entrance hallway.
the view was very nice, & on a clear day you can see mount etna..

me and a friend stayed here for 2 nights out of 8 days in italy:)
we had a comfortable quite night in the room which was good after our long journey..

The only thing that really could of been better with the room
was if the shower could of been bigger
i'm not a fatty but i found it hard to move which was i bit frustrating...

morning breakfast was rubbish!!
& there only seemed to be one guy, who was trying to do everything
like..

help other guests at reception
answer the phone
attend to the dinning room, of which there was 8 guests at the time, waiting for there breakfast service

and he seemed very stressed
which i CAN understand,
poor guy:(

Anyway if i remember we had,
a croissant,
a bread roll with no choice of jam \"I hate cherry\".
a coffee that was nasty,
just tasted of coal dust!!!

was i really in italy?

I then noticed that every one else was ordering a cappuccinos,
at extra cost no doubt, i guess they didn't think too much of the house coffee either

we did get some cornflakes...yippee
but only after having to wait ten minutes for them to refill the milk jug

and at one point, i did ask the waiter, receptionist, maybe even the cleaner if i could have a boiled egg as i had seen a finished one on another table.
and he abruptly answered NO!

sorry for asking!!!!

we noticed the drying room for the towels in the afternoon,
it seemed to be in a very damp area, and all the towels were hanging there, and it was raining now so it couldnt of helped much

when we got back to our room after a long day exploring beautiful taormina
all i was looking forward to was a nice
\"tight\" shower.. lol
unfortunately when i went to dry myself, the towel was damp, in fact all of them were!!
did they change the towels i wondered, i think they did.
it was just that the new ones hadn't dried properly from being outside!!!

Anyway
the last bit is the best..

I left my coat in the wardrobe the day i left for catania
so when we got to our next hotel the receptionist offered to call them,
how nice:)
they told her that they would go and look, but we would have to call back again as they was busy right now

Or is it that you have a staffing problem?

So we did call back,
twice,
& no answer.

The following day we hired a car
and before we left early to go up etna,
the receptionist kindly tried to call again for me
this time they answered it was somebody different this time,
and they told us that it had been checked and that there was no jacket there.

how strange is that, the cleaners had not been in there yet!!!
maybe the place was haunted!!

well after our day up the mountain we came back past taormina in the evening
& so i decided to go and check with them,
maybe even get to look for myself
sort of guest apperance i suppose..

as to be honest
i really didn't think that they had looked themselves, and i just wanted some reaction..

Well i certainly got that when the manager saw me arrive,
he new exactly who i was..
I told him that i was passing and just wanted to take a look for my jacket
he said that i should of called first!!
so i told him that we did...twice last night, but no answer
he then said,
that's impossible
as they always answer,
what number did i use??????

so
I first asked him if the cleaners had found it?
and replied that the cleaners had not been in there yet,
cool!
can i go and check please?
at first he seemed hesitant, but then realised just how far i had come
so we went up to look
sure enough, there was no jacket, but then i think we all new that

when we walked back to reception, he then unbelievable said to me
that he would call the cleaners to ask them???????

ASK THEM WHAT?
you just told me 10 minutes ago that they had not been in the room!!!

well at this point i new that i just wanted to leave this place
as i was getting really angry.
so i said.

no problem,
thanks & goodbye.

the manager then said
that i should leave my email just in case
in case of what i thought?
lol,
talk about being kicked when down!

but i did leave it
& my telephone no too

but have not heard from them yet

Great location, great view, great staff

I arrived in Taormina in the evening without a reservation anywhere. I found an internet cafe and booked this room. When I arrived, they had not yet received the email regarding my reservation, however they accepted my reservation printouts and were very accommodating and polite. This hotel has a nice restaurant and bar, with a nice breakfast and a great view of the coast. Other than the shower not working, it was an excellent experience.

Hotel Villa Greta in Taormina, Sicily

The hotel has a beautiful view from the dining room and the food and beds are good. However, it is not suitable for anyone who has problems with steps. We counted over 200 steps from the lower street level to our room. We arrived by car and the hotel only provides street parking on very steep narrow streets. We asked for a non smoking room and that was perhaps the problem. The location of our room was at the end of the garden had no balcony like a number of the other rooms. Some of the furniture had broken handles but the worst was that we had a toilet that was leaking around the base (it was fixed during our stay) and our towels were not changed during our 4 day stay even though some of the linens were dirty because of the leaking toilet. We also were told initially that breakfast would not be served until 9 am which is pretty late if you want to make excursions. Later we found out that you could ask for breakfast as early as 6 am if you let the staff know in advance.

It matter when you've got that view

We are budget travellers so our priorities are maybe different from couples who are looking for a resort holiday, with this in mind Villa Greta would score 10/10 easily.

Taormina is a spectacular place to spend a few days, longer if you enjoy days down at the beach below the town. This hotel would not be suitable for anyone with mobility concerns, buggy with young children etc. It is accessed from the town up a well lit path, mostly steps climbing for approx 10min so when you arrive with bags it is essential to take transport, the Castelmola bus (at least every 30min) or the town bus, both are used to tourists and know where to let you off for your hotel.

Great spot for sight seeing as you are halfway up to Castelmola, and near to Madonna della rocca, you can use the paths or jump on the town bus if you are not so keen on a walk.

Breakfast was a simple enough affair, pastries, jam, meat, cheese, rolls and cereal - my only criticism would be that it would benefit from not being quite so formal, be nicer and more relaxed - if it was help yourself. We didn't eat in the restaurant. We never had the need for much interaction with the staff but they seamed pleasant and helpful.

The room itself was very dated and mismatched but that really didn't matter as it was clean and secure. Bathroom was practical. Telly and aircon both worked fine. We spent all our time either out or on the balcony, 2 chairs, a table and the best view possible, town below, Etna to the right - constantly changing with the clouds and light. We had some pretty bad weather but the lightening just added to the view again.

After 4 nights the walk home did start to tire, but a change into comfy shoes and 10 minutes later you lost your envy of the town hotels.

Would go back in a second, and highly recommend to all like-minded tourists.

This was one of the cheaper hotels in Taormina through Expedia, but there are better hotels for the price. We got a \"basic\" room and it was exactly that. A bed and a (not entirely clean) bathroom. The shower was pretty awful too. The real benefit of this place though is the view and it gets a pass mark for that alone. Incredible views on a clear morning from the (very basic) breakfast. One way to save some more money on your trip would be to buy a bottle of prosecco and drink it on their sun deck; cheaper than the bars downtown and it lets you freshen up in your room before hitting town for dinner etc.

Hotel Villa Greta

For the price of the hotel per night and the location, this hotel was not worth it. The Shower in the bathroom was the size of a coffin and not comfortable at all, we had to open the door to the shower in order to wash ourselves. The air conditioning sucked and you had to walk miles with your luggage. The best part of the hotel was the view, it was spectacular. You are miles away from the beach as well so either pay more to be right in front of the beach, or get a hotel on the mountain that is ok with a great view. Oh and the restaurant in the hotel is expensive, you can eat for about the same price in the center of Taormina. I wish we had payed a bit more and stayed somewhere else.

Breathtaking Views and wonderful food

Hotel Villa Greta is ideal if you want a reasonable priced break in Taormina and good value for the price charged. Dont be put off by the dated appearance as the rooms are clean and comfortable with maid service daily and although the bathroom did not look like much everything worked and the shower excellent for rubbing off the dust of travelling. Greta appeared a bit formidable at first but when asked for anything flashed the most wonderful smile and tride her best to accomodate needs. She searched around to try and find me an adapter to charge the mobile. The restaurant on the terrace was the ideal romantic setting under the stars and moon with etna in the background looking down on the lights of Taormina. The waiters accomodated my sons faddy eating and specially made him chips which he said were the best he ever tasted and at 4 euros a bargain in Taormina. They also did not mind if I only ate a starter and made it feel like a banquet. Food was delicious and great variety for a small restaurant.Equally the breakfast is the best I found in Sicily if you ask for coffee a small bucket arrives with a jug of hot milk fresh bread and different jams, meats, cheese every morning. The staff made me feel special even though we stayed in the budget room and did not have much to spend. The steps may be difficult for someone with mobility problems or small children. The gardens are spectacular and we had a wonderful sense of privacy and were pretty much left in peace.

Hotel Villa Greta ** had lovely atmosphere,beautiful view over the sea and mount Etna.Hotel service exellent-clean rooms,staf very profesional,helpfull,they speak 3-4 languages,very good Italien cusine!
Transfer to the beach Letojani-shower,WC,Bar-restaurant,swiming pool for children,sun beds/umbrelas.
Hotel had lovely view,day or night,was very enjoyable!!!!
Also food in the resaurant was lovely and always fresh!!!!
In the hotel is amazing,quiet atmosphere.
I was very happy there!
*Recommendation-rent car,will be easyer for you to get there,it will save you from walk on steps.

Initially friendly and helpful but spoiled by awful service at dinner

The location of Villa Greta is stunning, but one can't help feeling that it's seen better days. Our bedroom was clean but smelled of stale smoke - the same goes for the dining room. We opted (mistakenly as it turned out) to have dinner at the hotel, and the service was dire. It took over an hour just for the bread and cold starter to arrive and nearly two hours before our main course. All without any apology or explanation. It's a shame because the food itself was decent, straightforward Sicilian fare.

Tolles Hotel in Taormina!

Wünderschönes, süßes Hotel in bester Hanglage in Taormina. Man läuft 5-10 min zur Haupteinkaufsstraße ein paar Treppen hinunter und schon ist man mitten im Geschehen.
Das Hotel ist schön und „Italienisch“ eingerichtet und supersauber!!! Die Hanglage lässt es etwas verwinkelt sein aber das macht einen großen Charme aus! Tolle Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den Ätna und das eigene Restaurant ist excellent.
Da wir während unseres Aufenthalts immer vor dem regulären Frühstück das Hotel verlassen haben, wurde uns jeden Abend ein Tablett mit Frühstück bereits ins Zimmer gebracht! Toller Service, nettes Personal und auf jeden Fall meine erste Wahl, sollte ich nochmal naja Taormina kommen....

Vacanza bella ma faticosa

Soddisfatti di tuttoun,eccetto per la logistica in quanto la viabilità risulta proibitiva e persino impraticabile per una persona anziana o con qualche problema di deambulazione.
Occorre salire una rampa di scale lunga e impervia peril raggiungere la struttura infatti abbiamo dovuto servircifare di un taxi per spostarci.

Neben der super Lage (Parkplatz an Straße mit vergleichsweise bequemem Zugang vom oberen Eingang, der nicht der postalischen Adresse entspricht - vorher unbedingt erfragen!) leider sehr abgeranzte Badausstattung mit Insektenbefall (Dezember!); man darf nirgends genau hinschauen. Sehr unprofessionelle Rechnungslegung (vergessene und verwechselte Posten wurden mitreisenden Freunden präsentiert, statt mit dem Hauptreisenden und Zahlenden zu klären - 3 Anläufe notwendig, bis alles stimmte - sehr unangenehm in Bezug auf Diskretion). Restaurant akzeptabel, aber ortsüblich völlig überteuert. Frühstück - naja: billig, abgepackt, löslicher Kaffee ...
2 Sterne sind ok, aber auch kein halber mehr.

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel mit Blick

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Greta (deutsch-italienische Leitung) war wunderschön, es fehlte an nichts. Das Personal war immer aufmerksam und sehr bemüht, die Sauberkeit verdient ebenfalls 5 Sterne, die Zimmer haben einen tollen Blick über die Küste, das Meer und den Etna! Besonders das Frühstück war reichlich und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt auf Sizilien in diesem Hotel wirklich sehr genossen. Da das Hotel am Hang liegt, erfordert der Treppenaufstieg ca. eine viertel Stunde, belohnt wird man durch die tolle Aussicht. Außerdem fährt direkt vor dem Hotel regelmäßig ein Bus rauf und runter von/ bis Taormina Bzw. auch direkt runter an den Strand.

Une vue de rêve sur Taormina et sur la côte Est de la Sicile depuis les chambres et le restaurant. Services corrects sans être irréprochables. Pas de WIFI (ou aucune info dispo à ce sujet), pas de livret d'accueil dans la chambre comme cela se fait souvent dans les hôtels, pas de bouteilles d'eau offertes, eau chaude un peu juste si les voisins se douchent en même temps. Petit déj correct, assez basique. Accueil néanmoins agréable.

Budget Friendly Hotel With Amazing Views

Nice hotel with greats views over Etna and the sea. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffé was small but very tasty. I would really recommend this place if you prefer a calm place with great views. Great price!

Sehr nettes Personal, etwas renovierungsbedürftige Einrichtung aber noch akzeptabel. Hervorragende Lage mit Parkplätzen an der Straße. Zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten in der Altstadt. Für italienische Verhältnisse gutes Frühstück - allerdings nur Kaffee aus der Kanne. Kein Espresso, Cappuccino etc.
Ärgerlich, dass Wifi nur im öffentlichen Bereich zur Verfügung stand.

Hotel tegen de steile heuvel aan gebouwd. Mooi aangekleed met planten. Parkeergelegenheid bij de weg. Ontbijt was goed. Airco aanwezig. De stad is op loopafstand.

El servicio a la llegada impecable, nos ayudó a aparcar el coche y con el equipaje.
La cena en el hotel exquisita, de las mejores que he probado en Sicilia.
La habitación muy correcta y con una maravillosa vista sobre el Etna que estaba llameante esa noche.
Por la mañana fue toda una decepción. El desayuno un poco caótico... La camarera/recepcionista no es válida para estar sola...faltaba reponer casi todo, no había platos, ni boles para servirse, y muchas mesas sin recoger... A parte de hacer café expreso no daba a basto y con mucho más y le llovían las quejas de los clientes. Muy poco resolutiva, no tenía ni siquiera un mapa para señalizar donde estábamos ni darnos información. Escasa de idiomas...

Arrange to stay another bed & breakfast

I should stay in the hotel 19&20 July a single room, I came early then I put my luggage in the lobby, go out for some sight seeing. When I come back prepare to take my room in the afternoon, the manager just told me some problem of water supply in the room, then bring me to another bed & breakfast nearby. Let me stay there 2 nights, and did not care of me at all. I should stay in a hotel that I paid for, he just send me to another B&B with what he said the excuse, no any compensation at all. Actually I wonder whether the hotel is overbooked, and the manager use this way to solve the problem, I will never recommend this hotel to others, or if you want to be cheated, please stay.

Sono stato a taormina per un viaggio di piacere. L'albergo era posizionato nella parte superiore di taormina e non è assolutamente vero che si impiega a piedi 10 minuti per arrivare al centro ma soprattutto al ritorno. L'albergo era in manutenzione e la stanza sporca. Quello che ho pagato era una tariffa adeguata ma sicuramente non scontata come si leggeva nel sito.

Superbe vue

La chambre est plus basique mais confortable avec comme seul défaut une douche un peu étroite. L'hôtel dispose de plusieurs terrasses avec une superbe vue sur Taormina et sur l'Etna. Le petit déjeuner est très bien avec des produits frais. L'accès à l'hôtel par la route peut être long mais une fois arrivé, le personnel de l'hôtel montre un raccourci à prendre via des escaliers pour accéder au centre de Taormina, ce qui facilite grandement les ballades dans le centre.

Bella vista, ma leggermente fuori Taormina

II b&b è molto pulito e la postazione offre delle visuali splendide.. però è a 10 minuti a piedi da taormina, attraverso vicoletti suggestivi che ti fanno sbucare in Taormina vecchia, fino a piazza tasso. Il problema può sorgere se vai in macchina, la strada è strettissima e trovare il posto dove parcheggiare è difficile... così una volta che la sistemi, non la rimovi più volentieri. E la sera a tornare verso il b&b è faticoso, tutta salita e le strade non sono illuminate. La stanza era bella e spaziosa, anche se il condizionatore emanava tanfo di piedi e la tavoletta del water era rotta, si spostava a tradimento mentre eri a sedere sopra!

Renovierung dringend erforderlich

Das Hotel bietet eine herrliche Aussicht auf den Ätna, Stadt und Meer. Das war es dann aber. Das Haus hat viele enge Treppen. Nichts für körperlich eingeschränkte Personen. Wir hatten ein superior-room. Leider war davon nicht viel zu sehen. Die Bilder die wir bei der Internet Buchung gesehen hatten gehörten wohl nicht zu diesem Zimmer. Die Matratzen waren total durch gelegen und provisorisch mit zwei Brettern unterlegt. Im Bad war Schimmel. Die allgemeine Einrichtung im Zimmer und Bad ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach, immerhin mit mehr als nur Croissants.

Die beste Aussicht!

Ich war aus beruflichen Gründen in diesem Hotel, würde es allerdings auch für eine Urlaubsreise empfehlen. Die Anreise mit dem 'Interbus' war ok, die Weiterreise zum Hotel nahm ich auch mit dem Bus vor. Mit Reisegepäck ist die 'Villa Greta' unfach zu weit oben gelegen. Hier muss man doch fit sein, um das Hotel zu Fuß zu erklimmen :-) Als ich ankam, wurde ich sehr nett empfangen und auf mein Zimmer gebracht. Sogar meinen Koffer hat man mir getragen. Das Zimmer war recht klein, das Bad noch kleiner. Doch alles war sauber und ordentlich. Frühstück war in Ordnung: Brötchen, Aufstriche, Obst, Müsli/Cornflakes, Saft und Kaffee... und die beste Aussicht die man sich vorstellen kann. Man blickt über die Bucht und kann auch den Ätna bestaunen. Um die in Stadt (Beginn des 'Corso Umberto') zu gelangen, braucht man dank der 'Abkürzungen' tatsächlich nur 10 min. Ansonsten fährt auch ein Bus direkt am oberen Hoteleingang ab, welcher am Busterminal hält (1,80€ Einzelfahrt). Insgesamt also ein niedliches, kleines Hotel mit sehr netten Angestellten, tollem Abendessen (die Preise sind im übrigen nicht teurer als in der Stadt) und einer bezaubernden Aussicht. WLAN gibt's gratis im Restaurant.

Ligging van het hotel is prachtig, maar niet gemakkelijk te bereiken : te voet met vele trappen. Per auto via lange, steile, smalle slingerweg. Eenmaal aangekomen, valt ook het parkeren niet mee.

Grazioso hotel vista mare

L'hotel si trova sulla strada per Castelmola quindi non è facile da raggiungere senza auto(bisogna prendere un paio di bus), tuttavia grazie alle scalinate si arriva al centro di Taormina in poco più di 10 minuti, la veduta sul mare è eccezionale, la cortesia del personale è fuori dal comune, peccato per il parcheggio che non è facile da trovare data la conformazione della strada (stretta, in salita e tutta curve); la pulizia delle camere è molto buona, la colazione è abbondante e di qualità, consiglio molto il ristorante che è molto conveniente rispetto ai prezzi del centro; rapporto qualità prezzo buono!

Only super hot water

The price was ok. The staff was really nice. There are a lot of stairs to climb from Taormina to the hotel but thats also a nice adventure with amazing views. We had a nice window view of the sea. Unfortunately we only had super hot water in the bathroom, couldnt take a shower because of that! Didn't ask the staff about it, so I dont know why. The breakfast was better than im used to in these places. Fruit sallad, bread, salami, cheese. I would chose this hotel again.
