Great quality hotel in Taormina, comfortable rooms and really good & proper breakfast. Our favorite is the chef’s omelette! The balcony door is very sound proof, we can barely hear the noise from the street at night. There is an elevator to bring your luggages up. Very friendly staff and good service. Beautiful boutique hotel right in the centre of Taormina. Close to shops, restaurants and easy access to all the major tourist attractions. Breakfast on the terrace is a major highlight as you can see the coastline and on a clear day, full view of Mt Etna. Great food and friendly service. At night the terrace becomes a roof top bar and our bar tender, Manuel was a delight. His cocktails (designed by the man himself) were incredible and if he’s not too busy he will have a good long chat with you about the history of Sicily and just about anything else. He has what we call the Sicilian Charm. But all the staff were amazing and made our stay very memorable.

We were so impressed. Initially booked for one night as a random place to stay on our first night in Sicily. We saw the room, and immediately decided to stay for three nights. I feel like we got the best view of the ocean in Taormina! We swam in the Mediterranean, an easy bus ride down the hill from the hotel. I can not speak highly enough of our stay here.

All of the staff were wonderful. The front desk went out of their way to help my boyfriend and I make last minute dining reservations the night of and helped accommodate us with everything we needed. The morning staff, Andrew and Graziana, were very attentive to our needs and extremely friendly. They have a lovely aperitivo set up on their terrace that my boyfriend and I loved, and on Friday night there was a bartender up there who helped us with picking out the most delicious bottle of wine that we had the whole trip. The entire property was clean and conveniently located. Taormina is very busy, so you can hear what’s happening on Corso Umberto, but we liked it. All in all, we’d definitely stay again and absolutely loved this hotel.

Started with a detailed email that was so helpful and guided us perfectly. Location is just the best- convenient and perfect for someone that is not able to climb too many stairs. Easy check on process. Staff were all respectful and responsive- they couldn’t have been more concerned. Rooms are immaculate and well appointed. Modern amenities throughout, while still honoring the historic decorative elements of Taormina. Beautiful terrace that you could enjoy for Apertivo time and breakfast. Service was impeccable and consistent. Host gave us great dinner advice - off the tourist path. I would highly recommend to any type of traveler.

Taodomus is beautifully renovated boutique hotel with superbly attentive staff. Breakfast on the roof is a feast of elegantly prepared delicacies. It is within the medieval gates of Taormina, a few minutes’ walk from the ancient sites and close to dozens of restaurants, bars and pizzerias. That’s a plus if you love window shopping in dense crowds of tourists. If not, you may want to search for a place off the well-beaten path.

We highly recommend this hotel for exploring Taormina. A perfectly central location, we walked all over and had access to so many great restaurants and shops. The hotel was charming, our room comfy and clean. The breakfast on the rooftop was outstanding with lots of local foods to choose from. Room is very nice and comfortable. Front desk is extremely helpful and booked an excursion for us that was wonderful. Breakfast was tasty. However, be aware that there are lots of stairs. Breakfast is served on roof. 5th floor. We stayed on 4th. The elevator was broken our entire stay of 4 nights. Not a problem for us, but for others could be a very big deal. Located on the Main Street. Extremely convenient to shopping and dining. Near catania gate so also close to taxi drop off/pickup.

Fantastic! Beautiful hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. We were getting picked up by a taxi at 8am when checking out. Breakfast was at 8.30, so the hotel organised breakfast for us especially, at 7.30am. We were so appreciative of their offer. Would absolutely definitely return and recommend. There is no pool but they have an agreement with a hotel nearby, to use their pool for a daily fee of 15 euros. That pool was also in a lovely location overlooking Giardini Naxos.

The Hotel Taodomus is a hidden gem. I was in Italy for 2 1/2 weeks and it was by far my favorite hotel. The staff were amazing, both welcoming and helpful. Our room was beautiful. The hotel was recently renovated so everything is new and of high quality.The location couldn’t be better. It is just a few minutes walk from the train station, restaurants, shopping, and the town plaza. Also, the breakfast on the balcony is delightful and delicious - with an amazing view, a buffet, and a menu you can order from. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have worked for hotel for over 20 years so I am very picky about choosing the right hotel for my vacations. I love the Taodomus hotel, it is on the main street so it is extremely convenient! The hotel and the room was very clean so we were very pleased. Luca was very helpful during check in, very polite.Judith and Serena were great and took care of us during breakfast, having breakfast at the roof terrace with those amazing views was just breath taking. Valentina gave us wonderful recommendations, the agency for the Etna Tour was amazing and Giorgio, our guide, was SUPERB! The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the hotel does not have IRON for the guests and when you are attending a wedding this is very important. We traveled from Miami so it was far, therefore the clothing needed some pressing but NO IRON! Luckily I called my friend who was staying at the Continental Hotel, just a block away. When I told her about it, she said \"your fancy hotel does not have an iron??\" Anyway, it was my friend who saved us with her iron. Would I still recommend this hotel, ABSOLUTELY, it is an awesome hotel with great staff. It seems that a prior guest had an accident with an iron so now all the guess are paying for it. My advise have an Iron available, get a deposit of 100 EUR and tell the guest they can have it for 30 minutes. Last but not least, we had a Classic room and our bathroom's window looked at the ETNA Volcano, we even got to see its eruption, AMAZING!

Got some excellent assistance from Valentina with things to do, directions and bus schedules. (Smoking was overlooked on the terrace in the evening and rather than say smoking is not permitted ....staff member said I complained and am allergic)

Potentially a nice hotel but there are a number of shortcomings. Staying in my room there was noise from the terrace above from around 5am as tables etc were being prepared for breakfast. The room is very small with no towel rails and no drawer space to speak of. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows and the staff helpful and friendly. Instructions to get to the hotel are not as clear as they could be as when we finally made it it was simple a simple walk from a large car park situated outside the town???

Such a strategic position thus allows our guests to enjoy a complete holiday, sharing their time between the seaside, shopping , restaurants, excursions, night-life, exhibitions, concerts, opera and ballet performances which take place in the ancient Greek Amphitheatre between June and September. The building, constructed about 45 years ago, came into existence, because of a romance, a promise of marriage and the beginning of a lovely family.
He came from a far distant town, whereas she was from Taormina. After some time and after many love-filled visits, they decided to get married and start a family together.
Thirty years later, the family decided to transform the place into a holiday residence, so over 10 months' restructuring took place– the walls, the windows and terraces, all the electric and water plants , all the window and door frames were overhauled, the finest, oak patterned flooring laid, the walls re-decorated and high-quality fittings provided for all the bathrooms. All the work was carried out by dedicated local craftsmen.
The result is a series of apartments and suites. The interiors and the decorative elements are all strictly Italian, including the fabrics, the workmen, the furniture, the curtain-makers, the lamp-producers, the people who made the sofas, armchairs, chairs, cupboards carried out their work with loving attention to the smallest detail, so that a guest can feel as comfortable and at home as possible, surrounded by beautiful interiors.
Taormina is at the centre of a historic and highly picturesque area which captures the admiration of visitors from Italy and from all over the world, increasing the number of people who crowd the narrow streets of the ancient town every year.
