I enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Carlton hotel. My room was very nice, comfortable bed, clean, nice decor. The Carlton Hotel is in an excellent location opposite the famous Raffles Hotel. It is close to Raffles City shopping centre, City Hall MRT, streets of small shops, underground arcade that leads to Suntec City. All the staff at the Carlton Hotel were excellent, courteous, helpful and friendly.

Our first time in Singapore and we were delighted we chose to stay at the Carlton Hotel. Fabulous hotel, friendly, welcoming staff, superb facilities and great location. We stayed 4 nights, did a mini cruise to Phuket and Penang before returning to the Carlton for a further 3 nights where we were thrilled to have been upgraded to a larger room with stunning city views, a lovely touch as returning clients ❤️ Tux barman makes the best Singapore Sling, Tuxedo coffee shop for great coffee and fantastic pastries, we enjoyed breakfast and the Hong Kong buffet lunch once during our stay, both excellent! Highly recommend and would book again if we return to Singapore!

We stayed at Carlton Hotel Singapore for six nights and overall had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent — within easy walking distance of many restaurants, shopping areas, and major tourist attractions, which made exploring the city very convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel worked well as a base for our time in Singapore.

The only downside was the late-night check-in experience. We arrived around 2 a.m., and the staff member on duty was not particularly welcoming and made the process more difficult than expected. Considering Singapore’s usually high hospitality standards, this was a bit surprising.

Aside from that moment, the stay was comfortable and the location remains a strong advantage of this hotel.

This hotel is very nice, comfortable and is brilliantly located to walk to a lot of places (in good comfortable footwear)and within a very easy few minutes walk to City Hall MRT. They have a wonderful team on reception, concierge, housekeeping, poolside & restaurant. The catering team are amazing.and the cafe in reception lobby is also great. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and housekeeping made a wonderful birthday decoration for the bedroom to mark my daughter's birthday THANK YOU! Such a fantastic surprise. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. You have a tremendous team of professional, helpful and caring staff👏👏👏

Really enjoyed our stay over the 3 days. Room which was on the 13th floor was spotless and immacultely cleaned every day ( if you wanted it cleaned every day ). Everyone from the reception staff to the room housekeeping staff were always polite and courteous. The pool was quiet for the most part, so plenty of loungers to be had. Would def recommend. In a great location aa well right across from Raffles

Unlimited water bottles, all staff i encountered were courteous, room was clean. Everything was perfect except for 2 items:

1. Water coming from the faucet in the sink has a bad smell
2. They should put a socket in the bathroom for hair dryer so that when your companion is still sleeping, you can just dry your hair in the bathroom in front of the mirror.

Other than the 2, I had a good 4 nights stay.

I decided to splurge on my visit to the Carlton when visiting Singapore. I wish I had splurged a bit more. The check in was transactional and cold, no info provided. I had to ask which way to the elevator. I walked over to the one concierge person (only one for a hotel with 2 towers) and got one-word answers. The room is nice; the views are good. The AC has only one setting, Icebox. Great for sleeping but frozen when in the room, we had to turn it off and live in a musty room during the day. The shower goes from scalding to frigid every 20 seconds. I am baffled how the temps were able to change. Resulted in very short showers. The buffet breakfast was the same all 3 days, and I think my high school cafeteria was better. The scrambled eggs were undercooked, and the omelet line had only one server. THIS is a big hotel, I never had time to wait for a omelet, I think they cut corners, the one folks that were pleasant was the bell boys.

My wife and I had an incredible stay at the Carlton.
We were there for our honeymoon, and everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were incredible! Upon check in we were told we were up graded, and we ended up with a larger room with an incredible view toward Marina Bay. We were also greeted with an incredible piece of chocolate cake that had a handmade chocolate butterfly on top. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Marina Bay. Can't wait to go back! Thanks all for a fantastic stay.

The room was very clean and spacious. The staff at check-in were friendly and even gave us a free upgrade to a room with a bath which was a very nice way to relax after a hot and long day of walking. It was a perfect location for us and the public transport around easily connects you with main attractions like Sentosa Island and Marina Bay. Raffles iconic Long Bar is right next door too which was fab!

Fabulous hotel right I the middle of the city. Next door to Raffles and at one end of Orchard Road. There is a massive Mall (Raffles City) opposite where you can buy anything that you may need. It’s within five minutes of the underground system and less than a fifteen minute stroll to all the major attractions.

Itself is very clean and modern with everything that you need to make your stay comfortable.
The staff were amazing. Leah even recommended a curry house in the suburbs was was wonderful. He made sure to chat with us whenever he saw us and made us feel
Even more welcomed.
We will stay at the Carlton if we’re ever back in Singapore. Why stay anywhere else when it has everything you need.
