We have stayed here many times and enjoyed it. My only complaint is:
If you advertise your breakfast is served until 12:00 Sunday
Then don’t start putting the buffet away 45 minutes early.
We have experienced this on more than one occasion and we’re quite disappointed.

We really enjoyed the super large and cosy bedroom, as much as the modern bath and the large shower in the bathroom :)
Friendly staff, good location in the heart of the city center, and really close to a Q-Park parking.
The city was a bit quiet when we were there, but small, walkable and pretty charming.
Highly recommended hotel. Go for a deluxe room, you won't regret it :)

Always amazing!

We always stay at this hotel when we go to Tongeren. It is the perfect place because it is in the middle of the florhmarkt. The rooms are spacious and clean. My only suggestion is too not stay in a room that faces the main street. The bar across the street can get loud and could hinder sleep. This isn't the hotels fault, but just something to note.

Making the best of the lockdowns,great breakfast !

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in 2020 before the lockdowns, and now again for 1 night in March '21 during the 3rd lockdown, so we can compare the service.

In 2020 we could leave our luggage at the reception when we arrived before the official check-in time of 3pm, now it's not possible; there is no one there before that time.You can reach them by phone though. Beware: the receptionist only stays there until 5 or 5.30 pm, unless you warned them of a late arrival.

Check-in was smooth. We got 2 electronic cards with which we could open the front door and the door of our room. We were told to leave those in a special box when we checked out in the morning.

The room was big and clean. It has a comfortable double bed (I would like some ergonomic pillows though), a shower,a sink ,an separate toilet, a flatscreen tv, a medium size fridge, and since the lockdown: a table at which you can eat in the morning and the evening.
Plates, glasses and utensils can be found in the bar next to the reception.

In 2020 restaurant Esaki could be reached through a door in the lobby. Now this door is closed when the receptionist goes home, so you have to walk around the block to get your take-away dinner.

Breakfast is always extra; but is is worth it's price ! In 2020 it was a buffet, now it's an extensive breakfast box, with croissants,buns,sandwiches,different cheeses and kinds of ham,eggs,butter, jam,chocolate and gingerbread spread, brownies,water, fruitjuice and coffee or tea.

Situation of the hotel is perfect - mid downtown area with shops and restaurants in walking distance . Very good bathroom with separate shower cubicle (very big) and separate toilet. Cleanliness perfect- good matras and pillows. Will certainly go back again

Great spot to enjoy the Antique Market each Sunday

We stayed at this hotel because it's in the middle of the Sunday antique market. We could walk around the market, bring purchases back to the hotel and continue shopping. Extremely convenient to the market.

We like the proximity of the hotel to the center of town & the late checkout option on Sundays. We do not like the fact that it calls itself a 4 star hotel yet we’ve never seen the attached restraint up & running. The €19 per person breakfast is quite sad. We’ve had it in the past so chose the locale cafe for a fraction of the cost yet much better quality.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff welcoming. The room was very clean, but we did have to ask to have the heating turned up the room felt very cold. It was very close to what we wanted to see, and do. Parking was easy to find.

The location was brilliant as my wife is from a local village near Tongeren. My wife was in fact born at the Eberon Hotel when it was a hospital. Our first night was fine although the hotel staff did not know anything about local parking tariffs apart from an underground car park at 10 Euros per day but you can’t come and go. No coffee making facilities in the room bad for a 4 star establishment. The next day was even worse. Our room had not been cleaned and clean linen and towels left outside the door. Complained and was offered an upgrade but declined this as very disappointed with the first impression that we got. Hotel has no information regarding evacuation procedures and assembly location in case of an emergency. Would not stay here again and certainly this hotel needs to be regraded as it does not deserve 4 star status.

This is my sophomore stay at the Eburon and will definitely go back. Historic building, swanky reception area, welcome cava with pastries and late checkout for only 10 euros! It's a good base for doing the Antiekmarket on Sundays. It's right in the middle of the action. A lot of good restos and bars around. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and king sized beds! And the aircon actually works! Just make sure to close the shower area real tight because water seem to seep through and potentially puddle in the room. Good selection for breakfast too.

Lovely hotel with mix of traditional historic building and modern refurbishment. Lovely quiet location overlooking town from Velux windows. Staff in the breakfast room could have been more friendly given that they did not say a word but they were very attentive to keeping the buffet breakfast well stocked and tidy almost to the point of OCD. A lovely place to stay.

Perfect location for the antique markets!

This hotel is located centrally to the antique markets, so it makes getting up early to find the good pieces all the more easier. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, but the rooms could use a slight upgrade. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. This hotel is also centrally located to the museums and local shops. I would recommend this hotel. I will also stay here again on any return visits.

Stayed there on a Saturday Night to be local for the Tongeren Antique market held on Sundays. The location of the hotel is Awesome, right in the middle of the area for the Antique market. The Check in process was smooth and the room was fairly spacious for European Hotels. All modern amenities, but the carpeting was rough and rigid wool, somewhat painful to walk on with bare feet. That would be my only complaint.

Oh My God. They destroyed a 12th century building.

Sadly, the worst design job I have ever seen. I don't like to say bad things, but what can you say about a 4 star hotel that has motion lighting in the bathroom so you have to keep moving to keep the light on? Reading lamps that point downward, a bathtub in the sitting room, no temperature adjustments, no restaurant, and blinding white paint on every surface except the floor, which is covered in purple, plastic wicker rug. Unpleasant odours, horrendous decor, I could go on for another paragraph. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. All the grace, age and history has been painted right out, very, very tragic.

Lovely setting but lacking good service!

First impressions were good, but that's where it ended! The hotel lobby is light, bright and modern, but under-utilised. In the 4 days we were there we only ever saw about 3 other guests (although hotel was full) and the bar never seemed open! There was no restaurant (other than a breakfast room) although one is advertised. The room was nicely furnished, again modern/minimalist.
One day our used coffee cups were not cleaned/replaced and the coffee supplies not replenished. On our way out that evening I asked for it to be done. When we got back someone had put 2 coffee pods on the tray but left the dirty cups! 4* service??
I'd pre-paid for the hotel through Expedia when I booked it over 8 months ago, but the hotel tried to charge me again, over 600 Euro's! It took a few heated exchanges before they agreed it had been paid for (they even had my printed confirmation from Expedia!)
The staff were curt and often absent from the front desk.
I paid good money for this hotel and expected much better. I was disappointed especially as this was part of a surprise weekend away for my husband's 40th. I felt let-down by the hotel. I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend it.

We went to Tongaren for the weekly market (350+ antique vendors) and Eburon Hotel is right in the middle of the action. It's a very walkable area with wonderful shops, restaurants, and beautiful sights. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful, able to provide directions, recommendations, and amenities upon request. The parking situation is a bit odd - if you go for the weekend, you can park in the attached city parking garage (no hotel parking garage - cost roughly E13 daily) but park in the -2 level as the first level is used by the antiques market on Sunday.

Das Zimmer war nicht richtig gereinigt. Die Milch für die Nespressomaschine war sauer und die Maschine nicht gereinigt (alte Pads). Außerdem waren Pflegeprodukte leer. Leider hat es auch noch an 3 Stellen reingeregnet. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr geräumig und außergewöhnlich eingerichtet. Insgesamt bewerten wir den Aufenthalt mit okay.

Bin nach 3 Stunden Fahrt im hotel angekommen, Rezeption hat erstmal auf sich warten lassen bis er nach 10 Minuten kam, total unfreundlich und inkompetent, dachte wäre Azubi. Nachts im zimmer konnte man nicht schlafen wegen gehämmer und bohren.

Grote kamer, goed koel en warm te krijgen. Bij aankomst en vertrek en tijdens ontbijt aardig personeel. Gratis drankjes tussen 17.00 u en 21.00 u doet gezellig aan.
Uitzicht op het plein, toen wij er waren geen overlast.
Vervelend: mogelijkheid tot reserveren van ontbijttafel door andere gasten. Hierdoor was er nauwelijks plek, terwijl wij tijdens ons ontbijt de gereserveerde tafels niet werden gebruikt. Douchekraan ingewikkeld, hierdoor verspil je onnodig water.

Prettige verblijfplaats.

Perfecte ligging, in het centrum. Betaalbare parkeergarage dichtbij en het is heel stil in de avond/nacht. Perfect voor de nachtrust.
De kamer was wel fris en moeilijk warm te krijgen, omdat dat gaat via airco die heel hoog hangt.... warmte blijft dan hoog hangen en verwarmt niet de kamer.

Auf den Fotos sah alles ordentlich aus,für den Preis erwarte ich mehr Sauberkeit, der Teppich ist schon fast eklig mit den ganzen Flecken, die Rezeption ist so gut wie nie besetzt, wenn ,dann ist das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Hotelbar hat eine kleine Karte dort muss man erst telefonisch Personal anfordern. Das Frühstück mit über 20 Euro war viel zu teuer für das Angebot. Es wurden zwischenzeitlich auch keine Teller eingesammelt. In der Stadt bekommt man günstiger und vor allem besseres Frühstück.Die Nähe zum Antikmarkt ist genial .

De kamer was zeer net. Door de zeer hoge plafonds van ik denk wel bijna 4 meter, gaf het een enorm ruim gevoel. De zoon van 9 jaar was zeer te spreken over zijn stapelbed, hij had super goed geslapen. De kamer rook en voelde fris.
Enkel de airco was niet echt van de stilste en deze heb ik 's nachts dan ook uitgezet.
Het ontbijt was top! Eieren, spek, croissants, ... Zelfs champagne stond er klaar.

Als je Tongeren wilt verkennen, dan is Eburon de perfecte startplaats.

Comfortabel verblijven in een mooi hotel

Eburon Hotel is een mooi, modern hotel, met comfortabele kamers.
De zaal waar ontbeten en gedineerd kan worden is prachtig. Het ontbijt was rijkelijk en overheerlijk.
Vervelend is wel dat in de kamer de badkamer geen afgesloten ruimte is. Licht aan 's ochtends of 's nachts voor een toiletbezoek betekent iedereen wakker...
Bij aankomst werd ons een glaasje cava aangeboden. Heel attent en geapprecieerd!

Originell, modern, schlicht und dennoch warm eingerichtet. Perfekte Lage für eine Stadterkundung und den berühmten Flohmarkt. Komme gern wieder und empfehle das Hotel uneingeschränkt. Ohne Frühstück gebucht - deswegen kann ich dazu natürlich nichts schreiben.
Kaffeekapselmaschine im Zimmer - Reisewasserkocher hatte ich dabei.
Top: Badewanne im Raum, extra Dusche und separate Toilette.

Parkhaus (11 Euro pro 24 Stunden) in 200 m Entfernung (durch den Innenhof und zwischen ein paar Geschäften her laufen zum Aufzug des Parkhauses. Beim Parken bis einschließlich Sonntag Ebene -2 nehmen, da das Auto sonst wegen des Flohmarktes abgeschleppt wird).
Hotelmitarbeiter/innen erklären alles perfekt und sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend!

Wir hatten einen herrlichen Aufenthalt in Tongeren, das Hotel liegt in bester Lage, wenn man den tollen Antiktrödel besuchen möchte. Das Parkhaus für 11€ pro 24 Stunden ist direkt hinter dem Hotel. Zum Marktplatz mit vielen Lokalitäten sind es gerade mal fünf Minuten Fußweg. Der Trödel beginnt direkt vor der Haustür. Für 10 € zusätzlich kann man Late-Check-Out buchen, das ermöglicht bis 18 Uhr das Zimmer zu behalten. Das war für uns perfekt.
Der Frühstücksraum/Restaurant ist optisch wirklich toll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Service beim Frühstück gibt es nicht, komplett Selbstbedienung, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Das Frühstück war nicht außergewöhnlich gut, jedoch absolut gut und angemessen.
Das Zimmer, wir hatten die größere Variante gewählt, war wirklich sehr hell, geräumig und ansprechend. Es gibt eine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer. Dusche, Bad und Bett waren sehr sauber. Einzig der Teppich zeigt hier und da Gebrauchsspuren. Der Blick aus unserem Zimmer ging leider auch nur auf ein riesiges Dach und war nicht besonders schön, aber wir waren jnicht oft im Zimmer, somit war das kein Problem. Ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen.
