The staff were lovely, and the location was good. May I recommend that room 9 have a fire ladder on the roof for the fire exit? As it is now, there is no where to go but to stand on those steps and \"wait for help\" in case of fire.

This is a lovely hotel in a quiet and safe part of Liege. The hotel is very convenient to shopping and restaurants, and is located across the street from the Montagne de Bueren steps. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

So happy to have found this hotel - in a quiet but convenient location, and easy to find as it's right by a v distinctive church that can be spotted from a distance all over Liège! Everyone I met who worked there was so friendly, and made me feel welcome. I opted for the breakfast and it was tasty - basket of mini pastries and breads along with jams, sirop de Liège, yoghurt and cheese (there was the option to have ham as well but I'm vegetarian).
The room was great - bed comfortable, nice view, clean and had kettle, tea, coffee and water.

It was a short stay. The hotel was quaint and comfortable. Close, but not too close to the heart of the historic city. Serendipitously, the bus to the train station arrived across the street just as we left the hotel to there.

A Night In Liege
This was our first time in Liege, so we weren't familiar with the area at all. Needless to say, we were extremely happy with the Hotel Hors Chateau. It's incredibly charming with just 9 rooms, and each decorated in a unique and fashionably modern way. The brick walls and decor are too cute! The hotel had just one employee assisting us...who also happened to prepare a personalized breakfast for us the next morning! Room comfort is a 4/5 only because our room was just a bit cold even with the heat on. This was probably because our room was facing the street, since another room we booked that was facing the opposite direction was perfectly fine. Overall, this hotel is a great choice if you're in Liege (and very affordable too)!

Kleines, aber feines Hotel, in sehr zentraler Lage. Zimmer sind liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Aufgrund der Zimmergröße eher für einen Kurzaufenthalt geeignet. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkmöglichkeiten in ca. 5 Minuten Entfernung. Super geeignet für Städtetrip.

Tiene escalera súper empinada de acceso sin ascensor, hay que ser levantador pesas para llegar arriba con las valijas, además en la habitación otra escalera similar para llegar a la cama. Totalmente inadecuado como hotel. No recomendable!!
