Fair Price and easily accessible

3 bed room, 3rd bed was folded up on arrival but found it. Air conditioning did not seem to set to cool but could set fan and heat. Room was quite warm but unexpected heat wave and 4 in the room - considering the price it was fine for the 6 hours we were there for!

Suitable as a motel only.

Room smelt of sweat, woke up with a sore back because of the bed.

No curtains, only a net so people walking past the room would often look in and youre awoken as soon as the sun comes up..

If not, certainly by the noisy cleaners cart as they pull it past your room

Perfect stopover

Such a friendly place. The guy who checked us in was welcoming, humorous and efficient. He worked so hard, I hope the company realise how great an asset he is. He manned reception, served our meal, ran the bar (thanks for the Negroni) and was there doing it all again at breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was exceptional both at dinner and breakfast. Rooms might be ready for an revamp but everything was clean and worked well. Certainly somewhere to book for a repeat visit, hopefully soon.

Check in was ok the disappointment started when we went to bed that’s when the party started next door loud music smoking weed the lost goes on granted it’s not the fault of the hotel but when I went to check out at 630 the next morning the young guy wasn’t interested in my complaint i definitely would not stop there again

Going Downhill

Our 2 guests advise that they have stayed here many times but the last couple of visits the restaurant has run out of some food and drinks. One guest also had to change rooms due to a faulty TV and wasput in a room that was already occupied so finally had a 3rd room that was OK. We have other guest arriving tonight so I hope they can have a better experience

Always a great welcome

By no means my first visit and it won’t be my last. Always a great welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Very handy as it is just off the motorway and within easy distance of the centre of Liege. Have stayed for an overnight whilst en route and for longer stays. My room requirements were taken care of although, on this occasion, it was not one of the newer renovated ones but just as comfortable and clean.

We used this as a stopping point on our journey south. Rooms were small and basic and served out need. The restaurant was basic but very good. One complaint is with the directions and location of the hotel are difficult.

Thoroughly recommend this Campanille at Liege

I am used to staying with Campanille and thoroughly recommend this one at Liege. The welcome was great, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is good and very clean. The breakfast was good and dinner was varied and well cooked and presented. Liege centre is a few minutes drive away and the hotel is two minutes from the motorway network. I look forward to another visit next time I am visiting the beautiful city of Liege.

Having read previous reviews, we weren’t expecting much. However we found a nice motel with lovely and helpful staff.
The room had all we needed. If we were staying longer, a fridge would have been nice but the air conditioning was a welcome surprise.
The restaurant has a limited menu but food and service good.
Previous reviews stated that there was only WiFi in the lobby but we had it in our room and the TV had BBC 1&2- bonus!
Being by the room made it a bit noisy but helped with getting around.
Overall good value for money.

Cheap but not impressed!

I have stayed in the campanille hotels in the UK and while they are very much a budget hotel, I was very disappointed with this hotel. I do not normally like to write bad reviews but in this case it is justified.

In truth it all needs to be improved, decoration is damaged and needs upgrading, while some of the soft furnishings (curtains) had some kind of stains / dirt on that turned my stomach. I was only there for the one night and cannot comment about the quality of food etc.

The staff were pleasant and polite.

Nice quick hotel if you are passing by.

Was doing some cargo work at the airport and needed a place to stay urgently found this hotel to be cheap and easy access, I loved the rooms they are nice, but they have to put darker curtains as ours it could almost see thru it and they meant that as soon as sun came on the room was too bright! Other than that I recommend this nice little hotel.

Stayed 3 nights for Belgium F1 weekend. Expected small & basic, which it is. Beds & bathroom clean but kids bed on top of a cupboard & uncomfortable. Kettle only just working, a lamp not working & pieces knocked off walls. Hotel looked shabby. Expexted F1 weekend to be costly but still seemed overpriced at just over £100 per night!!

Campanile Fail

Arrived at the hotel later than anticipated, at 1:30 am due to catching a later ferry than planned. The access was easy and the sat-nav coordinates were accurate. We ascertained that check-out was 12:00 middday but were disturbed TWICE by room service wanting to clean our room! at 8:30 a quck knock on the door and an immediate entry by the cleaner - not acceptable as our bed was clearly visible from the door and the situation could have been embarrassing. Once was bad enough but at 11:00 the very same thing. When I showered I found hair floated out of the plug hole of the bath - a different colour from ours! Additionally the plastic glass in the bathroom, although in side a non-sealed plastic wrapper was greasy and had obviously been used previously. This is not what I expect from a leading chain such as Campanile. Very disappointed indeed.

Nice easy acess hotel from the airport.

Couldn't find a cheaper hotel to rest after a cargo project at LGG airport, so this hotel popped out on my Expedia app it was cheap and easy to book I checked in in less then a minute paid online no questions asked! This is the motel style hotel like in America rooms are nice and cosy but could be better with a darker curtain!! Other then that great stay recommend!

A perfect stop for a tired traveller. Very simple check in etc and helpful staff at whatever time you arrive whether it be early or up to 2300 Hours!
Accommodation first class and no problem with parking etc..

Hard to find, expensive, know-nothing staff

This hotel, while near a motorway, is difficult to find and lacks signage. It's expensive -- basically you pay 100 bucks for a 50-buck room. It's a long walk up the stairs and over an outdoor gangway to second floor rooms, where we were stuck. There is, of course, no elevator.

They added a forty dollar breakfast charge to our bill even though we did not have breakfast in the hotel breakfast room. Luckily we found this out before we, gladly, left the premises, and insisted they remove the charge.

Plus they charge you an extra city tax upon checkout, whatever that it.

Not up to usual Campanile standards

As a regular at Campanile Hotels this was a disappointment. The site was convenient for an overnight stop, and the food and staff were good, but the room had power cables sticking out of walls, a work surface was covered in many spots of varnish, the entrance door stuck and the toilet flush was difficult to operate. Not what you expect or want after a 12 hour journey. Nowhere near the usual Campanile standard

Hotel a bit in need of minor repairs but still good value for money. My only real complaints were not enough pillows and the complementry creams and sugars were insufficient for tea bags and coffee satchets.

Basic but OK for short stay.

This Hotel a little tired in places. I stayed here with two colleagues each room was in a slightly different state. It seemed some were part refurbished with aircon being added but this was not finished. Small details let the place down for example bathroom heaters part working, some lights not working, mold on the bathroom ceiling. On the positive side the rooms have everything you need at a very good price. TV had BBC1 & 2 and lots of euro channels. Hotel has excellent access to ring road but is a long way from the nearest collection of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was continental but quite good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again but only for a short duration.

Rooms are quite small, but the bath was bigger as expected.

The good thing: If you smoke you just go out of the door of your room and you are outside already.

So the hotel is not bad at all.

The rooms were in need of refurbishment but the hotel information stated that there is a programme underway. The staff were very helpfull. The centre of Liege can be accessed by bus or the hotel will call a taxi. We used both methods. We had breakfast at the hotel. The usual continental breakfast was on offer. However as my friend and I only had a bowl of cereal each we found this to be phenominally expensive. Otherwise no problems.

Very Outdated!

This is only a place to go to for one nights rest. I would not recommend staying here for longer than one night. You will have a clean bed but do not expect anything more. We have stayed at cheaper and had better accommodations. The rooms needed a major remodeling! Very old and very worn out rooms! The hotel room was cold when we arrived and it took 3+ hours to get the room heated. Toilet did not flush well. There are no elevators and it has 3 levels.
-Hot water maker for instant coffee and tea.
-New flat screen TV's.
- Also, a convenient US 115V to 220V outlet for shavers.
-Bathroom did have electric heater but, only half the coils worked.
-Breakfast available but, not included.

Campanile in Liege - don't bother

If you want to go to Liege itself the hotel is in a bad part of town. Not easy to access at all and next to some very sketchy neighbourhoods. Honestly I can't think of any city anywhere I've been where I left less safe than I did in Liege after dark. Horrible place.

The rooms themselves were fine but basic. Decent price I guess but you can get better in a more central location.

They never made clear that breakfast wasn't included in the bill and nobody told us how much breakfast would cost. At checkout we were told it was eleven euros per person - a real rip off for what was basically toast and cereal.

Would not recommend this hotel and would not recommend Liege either. If you're travelling through the area do yourself a favour and visit Namur instead!

Super fint hotel til prisen - bedre end forventet God service. Fint med en lille have hvor man kan spise, hygge og lege.

Very Well maintained, clean, basic but very good value for money. Great bathroom. The breakfast buffet is good and so are the hamburgers you can order at diner time.
Ask for an extra blanket for your bed because it can get chilly at night (or bring one, as I did.

Vi var på hotellet i halvanden time og måtte simpelthen fortsætte vores kør selv ferie uden en overnatning, det ene værelse nabo havde et par som råbte og skreg, en nabo med hunde som gøede, folk der gik forbi værelset og larmede helt vildt, det lugtede af weed overalt og den baby seng som de burde have havde de ikke så ingen seng til vores søn, men da nogle forsøgte at komme ind på vores værelse ude fra, lammede det over for mig, det var en frygtelig oplevelse og kan ikke anbefale det til nogle som vil have søvn om natten. Væggene var papirs tynde og det samme var døren som det blæste ind af, og den vej der lå udenfor var der udrykningskøretøjer på 2 gange på halvanden time med lyd, bil på p pladsen med bilalarm 2 gange!

Accueil chaleureux, personnel donnant des renseignements fiables. Chambre plutôt grande, bien équipée (chauffage silencieux en plus, apprécié en décembre) sobrement meublée. Wifi efficace. Table-bureau appréciable avec set de convivialité (café, thé et bouilloire). Hôtel situé près d'une ligne de bus 81 allant directement en ville. N'hésitez pas à demander une chambre ne donnant pas sur la rue si vous souhaitez être plus au calme.

De kamer die wij hadden stonk ontzettend naar de sigaretten rook.
Na dit aangegeven te hebben, was er geen andere kamer voor ons. Ook geen mogelijkheden om het op te frissen of verbeteren voor ons. Het was geen fijne kamer om in te verblijven.
Het ontbijt viel erg tegen. Veel brood was al op en de vleeswaren die er lagen waren oud en de ham smaakte zelfs zuur.
De mevrouw achter de receptie was niet heel erg gastvrij of klantvriendelijk. Geen fijn welkom of tot ziens.
We hadden 2 nachten geboekt maar zijn maar 1 nacht gebleven. Ook toen geen na vraag door de receptioniste of tegemoet koming.
Wij raden deze accommodatie niet aan. Je betaald veel geld en krijgt weinig tot niks.
