Not the best experience, lots of services available on the app but not in the hotel, stayed 4 nights the room was never cleaned, had trouble with the key three times, also it’s says there was laundry service and it wasn’t had to sort out myself.

I love when you walk in the Bartender can also check you in! And it is a short walk from all the clubs that are hopping if you want nightlife. But it’s far enough away that it’s quiet at the hotel.

Great location, excellent facilities and parking

Have visited a number of times now and will always stay here when in Liege. Good value for money and a nice alternative interior based around centralised bar. Good beers of course as it’s Belgium and they have a free pool table too which is always entertaining. Parking is off site over the road in modern parking place and is around 18 euros a night with validated ticket form reception of hotel. Good food available too and plenty of places to have a drink and eat in nearby. Has a nice chilled vibe to it and breakfast is good too. Will come back 100%

Even better than it looks!

Wonderful staff, clean, and lobby is absolutely awesome! It has a bar with loungy booth seating everywhere, a pool table, and other games. Very classy!

Everyone at the front desk was friendly, especially to my two dogs. Our Standard room was based on the first floor and was nice, especially the shower. Breakfast selection was good for this rate of hotel. Parking was 5 minutes away from the hotel. The location of the hotel is good. Easy to get to the restaurants and city centre, especially the Theatre Royal.

Sadly disappointing

Stayed in Prague Pentahotel and had the most amazing stay, so thought this would be the same, but unfortunately it wasn't. The hotel is o.k., but far from everything, limited menu and room was small, noisy, terrible view of carpark and staff pretty unresponsive. Won't be staying here again unfortunately.

Honestly, the only \"bad\" thing that comes to mind is perhaps a few more options for breakfast, though I understand the space was limited.

Other than that, I commend the staff first and foremost for their flexibility and kindness.

Very nice staff and perfect location

Very nice people, beautiful environment and perfect location. My only concern is the air conditioning setting. It stopped during the night and I woke up because it was too warm for me. I went downstairs and the gentleman working the front desk told me that when it reaches the minimum temperature it stops automatically. He offered to give me another room but I was not going to move everything in the middle of the night. So I could not get back to sleep until 6am…

The hotel receptionist was a touch ... condescending at checking in ... when asked billing questions ... but the rest of the staff more than made up for \"her\" ... possible personal lack of self esteem and dismissive air.

The room was excellent. Spacious and modern. However, there seems to be a problem with checking the rooms: the lightbulb of the bedside table lamp was missing, the TV was not working and the hairdryer was broken.
The breakfast was amazing and recommended for the price (I paid 10€)

The staff at this location were very accommodating and patient, and eager to help with anything. I highly recommend the breakfast!

The beds were comfortable, but the sheets were rougher than I am used to. The air-conditioning took the edge off some very hot summer days. The hotel wifi dropped out sometimes, but never enough that I was prevent from working.

Overall, a great place to stay.

Incredible staff at a great location and price

I booked this hotel for its great location and price, both of which are great. But what really blew me away was the incredible level of service. When the kitchen did not have the traditional dish I wanted, one of the staff members called a local restaurant that did and made sure that I got in before it closed. They also did brewery tour research for me essentially unprompted when I mentioned it as an interest. All of this is in addition to just being a great, friendly bunch that was a central part of a great night spent in the hotel bar over a few beers. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, and I travel often.

This area is run down, few amenities in the area, some rough-looking locals hanging around. I wasn't in Liege enough to see if the whole town was in the same condition.
The hotel was also in need of upgrades, small, tight room.
About 40 minutes walk from the train station, over cobblestones!

Another great hotel from Pentahotels

Pantahotel is one of my favourite chains. This was the first one outside the UK that I have visited and the standards are as high as ever. I love the slightly trendy style but still open and welcoming to all. The rooms are a really good size and very well appointed. The beds are outstandingly comfortable. Shame I had an early start. The friendly staff really look like they are happy to be at work and look after you. the location is good and accessible and a short walk for all the attractions of Liege.

Trendy hotel in a great location

We chose Pentahotel mostly because of its location near the center of Liège, but for the location we felt the price was quite low and the quality very good. We loved the design and decor of the room. The beds were super comfortable and most everything was quite clean. The only minor disappointment was the shower floor -- it really needs a good scrub with some bleach. The bath towels were also a little bit thin and threadbare, but definitely clean and usable.

We missed the hotel breakfast so can't comment on the food at the bar/restaurant, but we did have a few drinks and found them to be good and well-priced. The bar is a comfy lounge -- a nice contrast from many of the crowded places in Le Carré!

They also have onsite parking that is reasonably priced -- it probably costs the same or cheaper than covered garages nearby.

You walk into a cheese tacky but cosy and cool bar and this is your reception are (which is actually a bar and restaurant
This star are amazing, I needed glue (odd) and next thing you know I am offered 2 choices. The rooms are really cool , Diesel towels and a barn sliding door for the bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable on this trip. Enjoy

Funky hotel, excellent value for money

We stayed for one night on a tour of Europe in our classic car, so parking was an influence on our choice of hotel. The hotel itself is on quite a busy road, but that makes it easy to find!
Check in was easy and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only gripe I have with the room is that we overlooked the grubby 60's concrete car park that we'd just parked in but we were only there for one night and were eager to explore the city so it wasn't that much of a problem. On the plus side it meant we had a very quiet room and a good night's sleep!
We didn't eat in the hotel but did have a couple of drinks in the bar which is cool and funky. The bar staff made great suggestions of different local beers to try.
The city centre is about a 10 min stroll away with plenty of restaurants and great shopping.

Wonderful hotel, 10/15min walk to centre

Was in liege for the beer lovers marathon, the hotel was a 10min walk into the town square. There was a number of different events going on (mainly revolving around beer, which I'd highly recommend you try). Hotel staff's was great (which was handy cos I don't speak French, etc) they showed us maps of what to see and do as well as restaurants (girlfriend is vegan so that helped a great deal). Would stay again!

We loved the relaxed atmosphere in the reception & bar area. I love the the intimate and candle lit area. My teenage sons loved the snooker table. Rooms were moderne, fresh and clean. We had a couple of bar meals for convenience which were fine.

A great hotel right in the centre of Liege easy walk to bars and restaurants. Free parking for our motorcycles in the multi story right above the hotel. The staff speak English brilliantly and are Very helpful. Cost of breakfast a bit steep. The room was spacious clean with a great bathroom. Wi Fi free with faster options at a cost. The free option worked well enough for me. The onsite bar was appreciated.

Nice hotel but frightening city at night time

Nice and convenient hotel, staff very nice, room very clean. Had to go there for a conference but the city itself is not safe. I did not feel secure when going out at night or on my way back from the university.
I would not have chosen this city if I had organised a conference, it can be frightening at times.

Penta Hotel Liege. Highly recommended

We went to Liege to see the Gipsy Kings who were appearing at 'Le Forum' which was a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is strikingly modern and a shock when you first walk in as there is no traditional reception - you go to the bar to checkin/out. It's very modern but very comfortable. The staff are friendly and speak good English. As we were delayed getting to Liege we went straight to the concert on arrival but we had a meal when we got back to the hotel. The food was very well presented and tasty. There is a multi storey car park next to the hotel which was really convenient. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Liege.

A fairly large hotel near the city centre

We had a nice time at this hotel. The location was about a 7 minute walk from the city centre. The room was decent and the hotel had a gym. The breakfast was quite good. The check in was held at the bar area, which was different. The A/C did not work well.I would stay there again. It was good values for the dollar.

Great hotel!

This is one of the newest Penta hotels, only having opened in December 2014. No expense has been spared. I think this is what is called a boutique hotel. The interior is very unusual, perhaps quirky, but in a good way. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are well appointed and it has a good aura. Within 10 minutes walk either left or right you will find a plethora of bars and restaurants. There is an adjoining car park with discounted rates for hotel guests. Highly recommended

Room very spacious with good facilities. On arrival, ignore the 'sports bar' feel to the entrance. The rooms are very good, service is friendly, and breakfast buffet was very extensive, covering UK, French and German styles.. The room on the higher floor eliminated any noise from the road below. Good value (but we had just come from Paris!).

Funny Crazy Great Place

I booked Pentahotel attracted by some beautiful pictures, including that of the bar, with some great light. I was just a little surprised to be immediately at that bar when I arrived... And just a little more when I asked where the reception was and got a smily answer: \"Here!\" Really funny. I had never been to a hotel which bar is the reception (or vice versa)!!

That was fun and the hotel is really good. Beds are comfy, very clean... Excelllent shower (that is so important for me!) The only thing they should be careful with is the cleaning lady ringing the bell early on a Sunday... That's a sin! One at hotel business, or any business for that matter, should always remember that the client comes first... Not the cleaning staff... And not the cleaning personal's Union..!

But, again, small minus. Pentahotel is excellent. I would definitely be there again if I had to go to Liège again. In fact, I'd rather go to Pentahotel than to Liège... Even though I liked Liège..! I was happilly surprised...

Brilliant!

We got stuck in Liege because of train delays and chose the hotel because of the ratings.
There are some businesses that inspire you. And this is clewrly one of them.
Thoughtfulness all around. You look closely and you find that each aspect has been evolved right down to the toiletries, wall designs etc.
It also has an unbeatable breakfast spread!
