Brilliant hotel for a shortcity trip

The hotel as staff is very good. We really enjoyed staying in Hasselt. The hotel is located between all different restaurants and close to the shopping streets. We would definitely recommend the hotel. Next time we are in Hasselt we will stay again in this hotel.

Great hotel but invest in ear plugs

Very nice hotel, good room size, nice shower, pleasant and friendly staff. My only \"but\" is, dont choose it if you are a light sleeper, you can hear everything from the street and considering its city centre, there is a lot going on till late.

A right bobby dazzler !!!!

Hotel is located not far from Market square, plenty of places to meet and eat / drink, If you leave the hotels fantastic courtyard outback with outstanding service from a varied food and drinks menu.
The rooms are modern and spacious with all that is required, no coffee/ tea facilities in room but complementary water is replaced daily if consumed. Would rate hotel as 8 out of 10 and the only reason full marks are not given was due to no air con in the 3 rooms we had for 3 nights, it was hot and if the patio doors are opened the nightlife below can be heard and annoying when trying to sleep.
Aircon is on the list to have fitted and hopefully when we return next year it will be in and working.
Fantastic relaxing time.

The Mother Goose is a delightful, cute hotel located very centrally in Utrecht. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was really comfortable. The only downside was that there wasn't an easy place to plug in chargers, it required some crawling around. Also the room did not have regular tissues, meaning the toilet paper had to do double duty for that. However there is free Nespresso and tea in the room, which was great. The breakfast option is also very affordable and convenient.

Great Hotel - nice staff...but all really let down by a few things. First this is a noisy hotel - don't take a room at the front...you will not sleep! Second, no coffee making or phone in the room! This is 2018 people!! Third...I have emailed the owners and informed them of my views...and given them time to respond in person...they have failed to do so...very poor customer service! What a shame as the hotel, the room and the people there are really good...all it needs is a set of triple glazing, a pod coffee maker in the room and maybe, a phone?

I stayed here for a single night during a work trip to Belgium.
The hotel is well located within an area of the town where there are a number of places to eat, bars and shops all within a short walk. I made contact with the hotel in advance of my stay and they agreed to reserve a parking space for me - the car parking is about a five minute walk from the hotel, and there is a key code required to get in (on arriving I stopped at the hotel to get the code and directions before checking in).
The hotel is in a quirky building, i was very happy with my room - spacious, comfortable, large window and the wifi worked well so I wa able to work in the room without any problems. The room wasn't spotless, but the cleaning was adequate.
I ate in the hotel in the evening and also for breakfast - both meals were good and the selection was better than average also.
All the staff members that I met during my stay were very friendly and helpful - I wouldn't hesitate to return here in the future.

Amazing breakfast and very friendly staff. Room good- but I did not find it comfortable that the terrace is used to stash old bottles from the restaurant and staff walk sometimes there. Had a family room with a children room inside - felt strange as I was a solo traveller. Bad wifi.

Hasselt is a stunningly beautiful small town with old cobbled streets, friendly people and plenty of great places to eat and drink. The hotel is beautiful with spacious and clean rooms, a great dinner service and outdoor seating.

Perfect room, silent, climate / lighting control, whole wall window, amazing bed. Really the only problem was the lack of coffee in the room - and not in the hotel as a whole once the restaurant closes at 10pm. Building sympathetically reinvented and integrated to modern extension - interesting. Breakfast delightful, though short-staffed so slow, coffee prepared cup by cup. Desk staff a bit grumpy. Good Italian coffee bar diagonally opposite - Cafe Latino - tasty quick Thai noodles nearby from Tasty Bowl.

Refreshingley different from the normal chains

Nice quirky hotel that makes a refreshing change from the usual chains. Okay Restaurant and also plenty more very close by. Lovely looking courtyard so looking forward to spending time there in the summer.

Ontbijt = prima, ligging tov winkelstraat = perfect maar geluidsoverlast van naburig cafe is ongelooflijk! Geen oog dicht gedaan... precies je zit zelf op café. En dit tot 5u30 's ochtends, om daarna de poetsdienst van het stad te moeten horen.
Ook gemeld aan receptie, ze zijn zich ervan bewust: in gesprek met stad & volgende maand nieuwe extra vensters aan terras.

Ein sehr gemütliches, nettes Hotel. Leider hatte die zentrale Lage im Gastronomie-Viertel zur Folge, dass es am Wochenende bei Sommerwetter bis jeweils 4 Uhr morgens unsäglich laut war, trotz geschlossener Fenster.

Mooie tuin en erg goed restaurant. Ook de vriendelijkheid van het personeel is opvallend en fijn.
Het ‘binnen klimaat’ echter is wel een behoorlijk probleem; bijna overal is het benauwd en zelfs bedompt…. en dat leidt enorm af.
Ook de kwaliteit van het bed was bedroevend.
Nét te krap, nét te zacht……. een topper toevoegen zou misschien heel veel veranderen!

Das Hotel befindet sich mitten auf der Partymile von Hasselt, wo am WE die ganze Nacht durchgehend, Parylärm ist!
Ich habe kein Auge zugetan.

Prima overnachting maar niet voor langer

Bed heeft geen hoofdbord en werkt dus niet fijn, laat staan tv kijken vanuit bed. Erg luidruchtig maar wel middenin de stad dus is ook te verwachten. Parking erg moeilijk te vinden. Erg aardige mensen.

Kleine puntjes van kritiek: geen licht vlakbij de badkamerspiegel. Vuile voegen van de badkamertegels, maar gezien de aard ervan (klein en fijn) onvermijdelijk. Geen probleem, maar jammer.

Via de boekingssite geen waarschuwing dat de parking betalend was. 5x vastgereden in de stad zelf omdat we de parking niet vonden. Uiteindelijk bleek dat we een code moesten ontvangen om de poort te openen maar deze hebben we nooit ontvangen.

Onthaal was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamers waren praktisch ingedeeld, zeer schoon en een goed bed.

Wij sliepen aan een straat waar glasbakken stonden. Tot middernacht veel lawaai van feestende jongeren op straat (weekdag) daarna werden de glas en vuilnisbakken klaargezet dus om 3u weer wakker. Om 7u ophaling dus echt wel een rumoerige omgeving. Ook in het hotel zelf hoor je enorm veel.

Meisjes aan het ontbijt waren vriendelijk maar ze hadden problemen met de stroom waardoor alles koud was.

Prachtige tuin om in buiten te zitten bij goed weer! Ook een prachtig gebouw.

Wij zouden jammergenoeg niet opnieuw boeken.

Het in inchecken ging goed.
Er hing een onaangename geur in de kamer, ik denk een probleem met de afloop.
Het ontbijt wordt niet op tijd bijgevuld en tafels blijven te lang niet afgeruimd staan.
Personeel was onderbemand en daardoor niet vriendelijk.

We hadden 4 kamers geboekt waarvan 2 kamers ruim waren en 2 klein. Niet alle kamers konden voldoende verwarmd worden, de ventilatie werkte jammergenoeg niet overal wat na het douchen voor vochtigheid zorgt. We hadden een ietwat hogere verewachting van de kwaliteit van de kamer.
Geen klachten over de vriendelijkheid van het personeel!

Ligging hotel midden in centrum is leuk voor verkennen stad maar luidruchtig 's nachts.
Geen bemande receptie bij aankomst om 17u, alles lag wel klaar en vriendelijke barman heeft ons geholpen. Maar receptie is wel het visitekaartje van een hotel en daardoor wat doods. Jammer, want voor de rest wel mooi hotel

Mooi hotel in hartje Hasselt

Knus en mooi hotel, alleen het rook bij de receptie/lift erg naar riool. Bij de bar boven niet meer maar wij roken het in de brasserie bij het raam nog wel. Dat was jammer, verder een goed verblijf gehad in Hasselt. En de bedden/matrassen waren voor ons erg zacht. Ook erg gehorig maar we lagen ook hartje centrum dus dat is dan logisch. Bediening was erg vriendelijk en dat maakte alles goed..

Ontbijt is niet uitgebreid maar je komt niets te kort.

Très bel hôtel, stationnement compliqué.

L’hôtel est bien situé dans le centre, très propre particulièrement bien décoré et très confortable.
Le restaurant est excellent, le petit déjeuner bien mais pas exceptionnel (œufs brouillés très secs.
Le personnel est sympathique et à l’écoute.
Deux points à préciser :
- être en plein centre a un prix : un bar situé dans la rue où donnent les chambres, un peu bruyant (les discussions, pas la musique). On oublie les fenêtre ouvertes en été.
- le parking : situé à 200m de l’hôtel, il n’est plus accessible après 20h car des bornes sont levées interdisant l’accès aux rue le soir. Et aucun moyen pour l’hôtel (pour le moment) de permettre l’accès. J’ai dû faire 300m en marche arrière dans la rue en sens unique pour me garer. J’aurais aimé un geste commercial et mon stationnement offert, ce qui n’a pas été le cas. Je n’ai pas demandé.

Het spijtige is dat het personeel hun best doet om het zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Maar aan straatlawaai kunnen ze niets doen. Voldoende isoleren zou al een hele vooruitgang zijn, spijtig voor al de goede bedoelingen, maar dit is voor ons de reden waarom we waarschijnlijk niet meer terug gaan...

Mooi hotel, kamer rook beetje muf, maar nadat we de ramen even hadden open gezet was dit vrij snel in orde.
Grootste nadeel en tegelijk een voordeel is de ligging; het hotel ligt namelijk heel centraal in Hasselt-centrum waardoor wij op een zaterdagavond enorm veel last hebben gehad van nachtlawaai. Er liggen verschillende cafés in de buurt en dat hebben we geweten. Ik heb denk ik die nacht ieder uur gezien...
Het ontbijt is mooi uitgestald en van zeer goede kwaliteit, al loopt de bediening wat chaotisch. Je kan een eitje vragen, maar dit wist ik pas na 20 minuten toen ik dit hoorde van een andere tafel.

Perfecte locatie om Hasselt te verkennen!

Vlot onthaal bij inchecken. Mooie, ruime kamer maar veel te warm op de kamer. Zelfs met ramen open te zetten koelde het bijna niet af. Bij uitchecken zeiden ze dan dat airco pas werkt vanaf mei???

Leuk hotel , goed gelegen in het centrum . Alleen jammer dat het bed verlaagt in de grond staat . De matras ligt gelijk met de grond . Voor oudere mensen niet handig om eruit te raken .

Er was geen warm water s morgens bij het douchen en 1 handdoek voor 2 personen, veel hinder van luidruchtige jongeren op straat s nachts , hotel is natuurlijk gelegen in t centrum maar mss beter isoleren?
Het ontbijt was heel verzorgd en lekker !
