We had a really pleasant stay at Dorint Potsdam. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the reception, which immediately set a positive tone.

The hotel is very clean, and our room was spotless and comfortable. You can really feel that everything is well taken care of. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and very tasty options to start the day.

What stood out the most was the staff. Everyone was professional, friendly, and always smiling, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The pool area was also very nice and clean, perfect for relaxing after a day out.

Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean but the furnishings were more for function than comfort. The bed was a bit too low to the floor and firm for my back, but thats a personal issue- it may be just fine for many others. The staff was amazing and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. The restaurant was not open the entire time we were there, and that was quite disappointing. There are restaurants around within a 15 minute walk or so. Overall we really liked the location, the staff and the town!disapaft

First, I had like to say thank you to the Staff and all the people there that keep the hotel running.

I got a package deal on Expedia “Hotel and Flight”. It had to be the greatest steal, cause the hotel was nice. Really nice, and my flight with Air Lingus was amazing.

Thank you for creating opportunities for some of us to travel and enjoy other cultures and how others live and eat. If I’m all over the place explaining myself. I have to talk about the food.

I ate like it was going out of fashion. Chicken, Fries, Vegetables, the burger, the meat, fish, food, can’t eat Onions. I devoured the plate all the time. Parents tell you finish your food on plate.

I got to walk it off through the streets of Potsdam window shopping. Let’s just say you need to travel with your richer friends.

I can keep writing about Dorint Hotel in Potsdam. You get the picture, travel there, it’s a lot of fun.

Thanks you Expedia for the package deals. I hope to travel most of the known world meeting new people and eating every where.

The hotel itself is fine. But, check-in was probably the most unwelcoming event I’ve ever experienced. I, always polite, gave my details with a smile. The gentleman was miserable, barely two words out of the whole exchange, quite unwelcoming. Check-in details and communication of services available were non-existent. No direction to the restaurant or where breakfast would be served. Quite ride if I’m honest.

The restaurant closed at 9 pm, so I had to spend an hour finding an Uber Eats. Thankfully, I managed to find somewhere, otherwise have gone to bed hungry.
The bar, was ok, poor selection of snacks, fridge was poorly stocked too.
I was really looking forward to visiting here. Underwhelmed and just a sad place to visit.

The only redeeming part was the young lady welcoming guest in for breakfast. She had a great warm welcoming and a smile to match. Give her a pay raise and get her on reception!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dorint. The room was big and the facilities were excellent. We didn't use the spa or sauna but they are available for a fee. Reception was very friendly and offered plenty or tourist advice. Onsite parking is available for a fee. For longer stays, if you forfeit room cleaning, they offer a bar drink voucher as a reward. Town centre or Sanssouci palace each about 15 minutes walk. The buffet breakfast was the best we have had.

Our stay at this Hotel was very nice. The Hotel was busy hosting a conference but our check in went smoothly and fast. Marcel at the front desk took the time to explain to us about the things to see and places to go, He was great. We even got a couple of perks thanks to Expedia .

I stayed here in a studio with my family, it was lovely and clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the pool was just lovely. My son loved having his own room within our room, two bathrooms was really helpful with 4 of us staying there and great to have a whole kitchen and 3 fridges! It's in a great location just a short walk to all the attractions. The food at breakfast and in the evening in the bar was delicious. We had a wonderful time and really didn't want to leave. We'll definitely be back and stay longer next time.

A beautiful hotel, in a beautiful neighborhood. The room was spacious and spot clean, and the staff friendly and efficient. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed all amenities. The sauna was the highlight of it all :-). The streets around the hotel, in this historic neighborhood, are full of life until late in the evening, and the dining on the little sidewalk terraces is diverse and exquisite.
Just a little “minus”: the AC was less than expected, but then again we are “polar bears”. Still not enough of a “minus” to subtract from the five star rating.
We will stay at this hotel again.

A pleasant place to stay with good facilities and within easy walking distance to the town. Reception staff were welcoming and efficient. The hotel still lacks some of basic items considered essentials in the modern world such as USB ports or sufficient sockets to cope with business electronic accessories. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of excellent food available. Disappointed with the bar service, appreciated it a busy evening but 15 minutes after the barman acknowledged I was waiting still no drink - so gave up!
Garage parking is an additional 20€ per night

I stayed there for 21 nights and it was simply disappointing. They claim to be a so-called “Superior-First Class” property, showing the official 4 1/2 star placard at the door. They don’t have either valet parking or bellman service to start with. The worst part is the beds. You basically have to sleep on nearly floor level, for elderly people or people with disabilities it’s almost impossible to get up without assistance. My mattress was of cheap quality, pillows were worn out and flat. Another thumb down: room cleaning. Glass tables weren’t wiped for weeks, trash bins remained uncollected for up to 5 days, bed linens have not been changed for days, a used coffee pot left untouched on the nightstand for over a week. Thumbs up for decent breakfast but thumbs down for mostly overcrowded breakfast restaurant. (Self)-Parking fee is $22 per day but they give you a 50% discount when you stay over a longer period. Overall, I would rather not return again, there were simply too many issues.

Stayed three nights as a break from a one month stay in Berlin. The hotel is modern and well maintained and staffed. Mostly business people and some tour buses, but is large enough to still feel intimate. I loved the pool and fitness centre. My room was large and extremely clean. The included breakfast was great, almost too many options, but all of good quality. The area is quiet, but found it was a simple walk to SanSouci Palace... and the amazing gardens. The walk to the old city was a safe and easy eight minutes... great eating and shopping area in the old city. I also found a nearby Russian restaurant that was a highlight (Matschkes Gallery Cafe). Very good German style hotel, quiet relaxing and worth a stay.

Die Lage ist super alles fussläufig zu erreichen .
Die Zimmer sind schlicht und einfach . Leider geht die Lüftung im Bad nicht und die Schiebetüren des Schrankes auch nicht .
Personal ist freundlich , dennoch könnten sie an Beschwerde Management noch etwas arbeiten .
Wir hatten eine Baustelle im Flur direkt neben dem Zimmer. Abgesehen von dem Bohr Lärm um 9 und den Dreck, sind wir schwierig ins Zimmer gekommen, da es gesperrt war. Nur mit großen Umweg und Treppen ging es .
Das Hotel war leer, daher versteh ich nicht , warum man uns genau dieses Zimmer gibt.
Als ich es ansprach wurde nur beschämt gelächelt .

Leider stand der Pool nicht zur Verfügung, aber dafür durften wir kostenlos den SPA-Bereich nutzen. Lobenswert, schnelle unkomplizierte Alternative gefunden.

Das Personal hat einen unglaublich tollen Eindruck hinterlassen, ich finde das geht gar nicht besser. Ausnahmslos freundlich und motiviert, danke dafür!

Zimmer war wirklich sehr geräumig, allerdings etwas Vintage :) aber pikobello sauber!

Frühstück war toll, aber es ginge noch besser. Für mich eine glatte \"2\".

Einen Kritikpunkt habe ich: Es gab Abendessen am Ankunftstag überhaupt nicht und für den Rest der Woche nur als Buffet für 40€ pro Person. Wir waren nicht die einzigen, denen das aufgestoßen ist. Wenn es nicht anders geht, wegen Personalmangel oder was für einem anderen Grund auch immer, dann sollte man das _vorher_ klar kommunizieren!! Danke aber an den Kollegen von der Rezeption, der uns den \"fliegenden Holländer\" als Restaurant-Tipp genannt hatte, das war suuuuper!! Wirklich zu empfehlen!

– Das Hotel erhebt beim Checkin überraschend eine separate Gebühr für die Nutzung von Schwimmbad/Sauna in Höhe von 7,50 € pro Person, weder bei der Hotelbeschreibung noch bei der Buchung wird man jedoch darauf hingewiesen!
– Auf allen Polstermöbeln, Stühle am Esstisch sowie dem Teppich waren zahlreiche Hundehaare offensichtlich vom vorherigen Hotelgast; trotz meines zweimaligen, expliziten Hinweises an der Rezeption war man bei 3 Nächten Aufenthalt nicht in der Lage, das Zimmer zumindest einmal adäquat zu reinigen
- an zwei von vier Tagen meines Aufenthaltes fanden tagsüber Bauarbeiten mit deutlicher Lärmbelästigung statt; wir sind mit Kleinkind gereist, das tagsüber Mittagsschlaf hält, was unter diesen Gegebenheiten nicht möglich war; normalerweise wird auf anstehende Bauarbeiten bei der Hotelbeschreibung hingewiesen, so dass man die Möglichkeit hat sich ein anderes, entsprechend ruhiges Hotel auszusuchen
– Ich hatte ein Studio gebucht, so dass ein Schlafzimmer und ein separates Aufenthaltszimmer nutzbar sind; diese beiden Zimmer waren jedoch wie zwei separate Hotelzimmer mit zwei Verbindungstüren ausgestattet, die jeweils nur mit einer separaten Schlüsselkarte zu öffnen waren; ein einfaches Türe auf und zu war nicht möglich, man hat immer per Motorschloss und Schlüsselkarten öffnen müssen; mit Kleinkind hat das einigen Stress bedeutet, die Schlüsselkarten in Reichweite zu beiden Seiten der Zimmertüren allzeit griffbereit halten zu müssen, ohne sich permanent auszusperren

Gemessen am eigenen Anspruch der Dorint Hotels nicht gut genug und aus meiner Sicht, trotz sehr gutem Frühstück und super Personal, nicht zu empfehlen.
Das wichtigste in einem Hotel sind nunmal Erholung und guter Schlaf und nicht ein toller Fernseher an der Wand.
Die Kissen waren zu klein und nicht gut und die Matratzen der Betten günstig und nicht gut 👎👎👎.

Jeden morgen ab 06.00 Uhr wurden die Rollcontainer mit der benutzen Wäsche raus geschoben und in einen LKW verladen, sowie aud den Fluren bewegt. Bei diesem Lärm war kein schlafen mehr möglich.
Das schieben der Container über den gepflasterten Bereich vor der Tiefgarage war extrem laut.

Leider war der Aufenthalt alles andere aks Erholsam.
