Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah was oustanding. The property itself is luxurious but what sets it apart is the level of service from all of the staff. I would highly recomend this hotel & area to anyone thinking of taking a trip to this area of the world.

As much is you write about this hotel and the entire single manager and employee is never enough!!! Name it: valet, room services, check in, pools, spa area, gym, sauna, steam room, the beach, cigar room, breakfast, dinner, the whole entire property is more than fantastic, any chnace i get the time i will definitely come back to it, this place is really amazing, i have been to so many countries and so many hotels, i would this the best or at least one of the best hotels i ever stayed in!!! That's absolutely my truth.

I loved this hotel, it was very high end. Extremely attentive staff, my daughter loved the water slides, the kids club staff were super friendly and it was very very clean. We only stayed for 3 nights and didnt leave the resort so cant speak about the location.

This is a great hotel for families due to the facilities. The staff were simply incredible. It was our first holiday with our baby (one year old) and they all went out of their way to make her and us feel welcome. Special thanks to: Bel, Chablita, Trang and Chef in dining - they all deserve promotions! Aramay in reception was really helpful and welcoming too. Thank you to Abdou at the beach and Jos and KC at the pool, as well as the two gentlemen with the falcons for always being helpful.

Everything was so beautiful and breathtaking from arrival to checkout i can't think of any negative memories upon arrival was upgraded to a ocean view room the staff were so helpful the rooms were so nice and big with 2 queen beds beautiful and charming views from balcony we went half board food was absolutely amazing
Would like to to massive thank you to hasan the guy who bought our luggage to room the front desk staff who upgraded us hopefully can't wait for us to return back

The hotel is really beautiful - spacious and rooms are massive. However for a 5* hotel the food options weren’t great - I would have expected more for the lunch/poolside menus, and also there was a lack of poolside service. Had to wait ages to get someone to come and take our drinks/food order and then wait another 45mins for it. The service at breakfast was also quite slow - could take more than 30min to get a black coffee. It’s definitely a good resort and quieter - pool is great fun for kids - but there were a few small things like service and food that could definitely be improved.

Luxurious and family friendly. Rooms are spacious and palatial with gorgeous patio. Also very quiet it was my grand daughter’s birthday and they made it special for her. Children get to check in, get a passport and collect stamps during their stay. The kids club is amazing. She wanted to go every day and the staff were so kind Ample lifeguards constantly watching and keeping everyone safe. Food was excellent. Will definitely be returning

Amazing Family Stay

This hotel is the perfect resort for families, the facilities and food standards are of high quality. The kids club gives parents the opportunity to relax whilst under the good supervision of the care takers. The staff were very pleasant especially Kian who went out of his way to serve us as best as possible. The pool and beach area is well set up with the kids slides being a major bonus. The gym is well equipped. I would definitely go back.

The property is not new. They have all the water activities for the kids to enjoy themselves while the parents spend the day at the beach. They have 7 restaurants. The decor was average for what one would expect from a Waldorf. The property had that upscale Disney warehouse hotel vibe. It’s a big property. I would say that it looks more unique on the outside than it does on the inside. The rooms are well proportioned but need some upgrades and remodelling. It was an above average stay but there are a lot better and newer properties available in RAK and certainly in Dubai.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful and clean. Loved the way it was all lit up at night. It was easy access to the beach. The staff were always on hand to assist with any needs I had. The food was delicious and cooked to my liking. A huge thank you to housekeeping Faroq, Ramyah Teja/Dyah who kept my room spotless and made sure I had plenty of water and tea & coffee.
And a huge thank you to Sarah Jane who organised a trip for me & transport to the airport. Overall an amazing experience. I look forward to visiting again.

It’s my fourth stay in this place and it’s an amazing hotel , very friendly staff especially Mohammad at the reception , very beautiful and large rooms , very comfy beds , also , the lady at the coffee shop camellia was very helpful and friendly . I stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every moment . It has an amazing and huge lobby , the best thing is that the rooms are far away from each other as it has a very spacious corridor

Absolutely top notch. Even before we arrived Mary the concierge was in contact to offer additional assistance. Room ready on arrival, with some nice extra touches. All the staff so friendly and helpful. The food and service in the Lexington restaurant was amazing. Great pool areas which would suit either couples or families.
Can’t wait to go back again soon!

My husband and I went for a staycation to celebrate our anniversary and it was worth every penny. They upgraded us for free to a suite. The view was amazing, and the sound of the waves at night set a relaxing mood. We enjoyed the pool bar, and then had drinks and shisha at one of the restaurants when the pool closed at 7pm. We will definitely be back with our kids for a family staycation and get connecting rooms. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience everything was good. Only couple of things. For a family Rooms, if we have two toilets,it will be better. Also, the soundproof between Rooms are not good. We could hear the noise from adjacent room and when our kids play in our Room, othee room members were getting disturbed. When we are unwinding ourselves, we would like our kids also to enjoy freely whether inside room or in external amenties in the property. Not a major complaint, but can be improved on this

From the check in onwards the staff have been brilliant. Great with kids and there is an adult section too. Nothing was too much for the staff and they were always smiling. Lovely hotel. The rooms were great, food was brilliant.

Very imposing and love the detail in the main areas especially Peacock Alley!
Great beach and pools , loved the terraces at the restaurants in the evenings - some of the best meals I've had in ages
Everywhere we went the staff were unbelievably nice and helpful
Suite was huge!
Only took 50mins from Dubai International so very easy transfer
Was only there three nights so sadly didn't get to the mountains - look forward to that next time!

We check in and the room wasn’t even ready. Waited for almost 3 hours to get another room. We ordered a beer at the adults pool and waited for 1 hour to get it.
The property is in need of a lot of maintenance. Management doesn’t really care much about guest experience.

Great hotel - personnel was so so. Lost our jacket and didn’t return it until saying it wasn’t found at all, until we confronted front desk and they magically brought it to us. On the beach, delivered our food when we We’re away from our beach bed and let flies sit on it. We asked to change the dish, they brought it back and again served the same plate. Nightmare! Several order issues throughout our 2 day visit, wrong bills and wrong orders..forgot orders. On day of arrival we waited intill 5pm to get a room with proper sea view, which we originally booked. In evening restaurant said they had a French male chef, when actually the chef (who was amazing by the way) was not French. No idea why they need to come up with this and change story. Morning of check out they came to do a “mini bar check” never seen this in a 5 star hotel before, and 4 hours before our check out. If this is considered the better hotels in RAK it’s far from organized.. we had to chase every part of the service.

Luxurious but not worth the money

Great hotel, very luxurious and huge facilities.

However, bed sheets were torn, the room equipped with only basics, starting from only two portions of coffee, no spoons, only one shampoo and shower gel, one thin blanket, etc. we had to call room service 10+ times on the first day to deliver all the missing items. Reception charged me 300AED fees and taxes even though hotels.com charged them already. I’d to negotiate to get my money back. Room service charges 40 AED extra for delivery, which is a joke for five star hotel. The pool is full with people walking around and taking videos of people, me and my wife felt very uncomfortable and left the pool after a short time.

Stay was okay, I stayed at better places for less money though.

Unique Experience, Great Hotel and Fantastic Staff. Everything in this hotel was superb. Starting from the check-in and warm welcome. Room was better than expected with nice layout, decoration, amenities and view. In the restaurants the food was great and the staff fantastic. We also had some drinks at Lexington Grill and the bartender was so kind and good. Definitely a place where I will come back soon.

We was woken at 340 by a member of staff with blankets, they went to the wrong room. Woke the whole family up.
Kids half board menu was disappointing, not many kids want soup or salad for starter.
Octopus on the adults Main was delicious. Little choice though. Very crowded in the pool on the Friday.

Great stay overall. Very good service, superb sea view from the balcony as promised by the room I had booked. Very nice beach and we loved it wasnt crowded at all at this time. The water sports team there is really good too, enjoyed the activity we tried. Because of the less people all the restaurants except Azure were closed and that doesnt really offer much, so had to go out for dinner. The breakfast was very good.

Very disappointed in the level of service in the hotel restaurants, especially Lexington, where the hostess was the most impolite person I have ever encountered.

Room service took an hour and 50 mins to reach and was served cold, other than the fact that it was a very pricey.

Beach service was horrible, each order took 30mins to 1h to reach us.

Wouldn’t stay here again, would go to the Ritz Carlton Al Hamra if you are willing to pay a bit more

We had such a wonderful stay and it was truly fantastic.

All travelers are recommended to get the option with breakfast if possible, it is very good and well worth the money.

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The pools are lush, the beach is lush, the food is lush. Everything was opulent and grand and just radiated luxury. This is a fantastic place to spend one night or many.

Nader, the night desk clerk, was absolutely lovely and very friendly.

Hamid, the night manager, sorted us out a beautiful room and we could not have been happier.

Jessica, a day supervisor, was absolutely lovely and so instrumental in meeting all of our needs. She went above and beyond our requirements.

Olga and Sajid were two fantastic concierges who helped us find medical services for an urgent problem that arose, and they were extremely helpful and friendly to us at all times.

Veera, on the breakfast waitstaff, was helpful and always keen to be of assistance to us.

Majid helped us tremendously with the details of checkout.

Taimoor was of great assistance with his encyclopaedic knowledge of restaurants in the RAK area, and we had a few lovely meals thanks to him.

And of course Irina was very helpful arranging our booking when we first decided to come to this wonderful property.

Fantastic hotel, luxurious and service wise. We had a family holiday during what was supposed to be a busy UK half term week (Oct) and although the hotel was 80% full, we hardly noticed.
We could actually get a sunbed around the pool without having to set our alarms - just an all round relaxing proper holiday without hassles or inconveniences. Prices were fair, and much cheaper than central Dubai/Palm - this is an hour away from main Dubai but we've done that, so decided to lap up the same weather/beach/pool experience for half the price. It was so good, we'll opt here instead of Dubai in future.

Beautifully appointed rooms. Service was mixed! Check out could not have been more courteous and professional but check in was a little disappointing. Understandably It was very busy as it was a public holiday and I arrived just after 12pm. As the room was not ready I went to the pool and was advised I’d be phoned when it was. After waiting outside for 2 hours hearing nothing I phoned reception as my phone battery was about to die. I was advised it was ready but I had not been called. Food was also expensive and not the quality I’d expect from a hotel of this standard. Some aspects excellent others mediocre.
