Une honte ! A éviter absolument.
Chambre 402 : rdc donnant sur un patio dans un état moyen.
Chambre qui sent l'humidité.
Carrelage qui se décolle.
Lavabo qui évacue mal.
Porte de douche cassée.
Portes de la salle de bains et d'entrée qui raclent le sol et ouvrent mal.
Le détail qui fait la différence : des cafards dans la sdb.
Nous avons demandé à voir le directeur. Il n'a pas souhaité venir.
Nous avons demandé le livret de réclamation. Ils n'ont pas de livret. Et de toute façon déchireront notre réclamation selon les propos des personnes de l'accueil.
Nous avons voyagé dans bcp de pays et n'avons jamais vu ça.
Mérite un 0 sur tous les sujets.

Very nice humble hotel, closely located to the sea, restaurants, lunapark and more. No need to pay a fortune at other places. Very kind staff too. Parking is a problem though, in the whole area.

Spacious for 4 of us. Convenient for the airport. We stayed there only for 1 night on our way back from the South of Sardinia. We had everything what we needed there. The hotel is a short walk from the centre where we waljed for dinner.

Not a 4 star by any stretch of imagination

This was a straightforward case of false advertising. This is not a 4 star hotel. It’s more like a 2 star. My experience was horrible. No hot water , stains on the walls , broken faucets etc. when I complained they said my expectations are higher just because I’m an American! When I went to check out it they charged me city tax for 4 nights when I only stayed one night. Total disaster. Take a pass.

Cute unpretentious hotel

Just a few steps from the port and the historical center. The staff and the owner are very polite and eager to help. Wi-Fi worked well. The restaurant next door is convenient. The only thing I did not like was finding out that the electricity is cut out when one leaves the room, and therefore I never got to recharge my camera batteries. That's the sort of thing that can spoil a perfect vacation. The management should post a note about this in each room, and should indicate at least one functioning outlet to be used for things such as recharging devices.

Good position just outside old town and could easily walk in. Room was tiny as was bathroom and was difficult for 2 people to cope with. It was one of a couple of tiny rooms on our floor. Reception helpful when bedside lamp did not work.

Alglero is a lovely little place to visit and the old walled town was really interesting, we were there for one night out of our week long visit of Sardinia and could have happily stayed longer but perhaps at a different hotel ,lots f good quality restaurants in the area

As previously, a very nice stay. Staff are great, although the wonderful staff members who were there during my first stay in 2015 have gone to other venues. Hotel is clean and people friendly. Easy access to old town and beaches - about 10-15 minutes walk to each. A good lace to stay.

Great value for money

Clean, very well maintained hotel for the area. Great value for money. Was pleasantly surprised by how modern and tastefully furnished the rooms were. The continental breakfast was perfect. Huge spread from cake and croissants to cereal, meats and cooked breakfast! The only thing to mention was the surrounding area - on a dark side street and did feel a little isolated at night. Easy access to the heart of Alghero though - just a 3 minute walk to the bus stop to the airport and centro storico.

Right place, location and most important Price!

The staff was really kind and took care of all my requests and curiosities. The room was very clean and the location is at 3 minutes from the center and 5 minutes from the bus stop, just in from of the port.
Cannot complain at all, on top of that, continental breakfast really good with lot of choices.

This is hotel is very clean and the desk staff are very helpful and pleasant but in my view this does not match any other 4 star hotel I have stayed in. It is firmly in the 3 star. The reception, common rooms and bedrooms lacked any sense of style and were all very plain and basic in decor. The bathrooms had nasty plastic furnishings and the shower was barely big enough to allow you to soap yourself (oh and take your own as the soap provided is useless). The toilet was so close to the shower it took a contortionist to use it. The bed was not that comfortable. Breakfast (included in the cost) was cheap and cheerful though plentiful. If you want this hotel for a romantic holiday or to impress do not select it. But for a good value stay near to the old town (about 4 minutes walk) it is fine.

While the location and cleanliness were very good, the staff friendly and helpful the noise levels both external and internal impacted negatively on our sleep. The plumbing system is very loud.Shower area is extremely small and nowhere to place your toiletries. You could not swing yourself never mind a cat. Walls very thin so you could hear other couples copulating. While we ate breakfast at the hotel most mornings for convenience it could have been a lot better. Teas and coffees were barely tepid when you took your first sip from the tiny cups. Bread was white and tasteless. Scrambled eggs were powdered. Juices were not fresh and limited fresh fruit.

Short and sweet!

We stayed at the City Hotel for 2 nights as we had to travel onwards for a wedding. After our first day here and in Alghero we wanted to spend our entire holiday here.
Rooms are extremely clean, we had lots of space with a huge bathroom. Although the view wasn't the best, it was still pleasant. Air con was spot on.

Gianni (sp) on the desk was extremely helpful as we tried to organise our journey to the middle of the island (top tip - you need a car if you intend to travel around this mountainous island!) - he went out of his way to ensure we made it.

Also, for a cheap and tasty Pizza, make sure you stop in on the restaurant before heading out to sample the numerous bars and gelaterias in the old city.

We stayed just one night as a stop-over for an early flight from Alghero airport. It gave us an opportunity to visit the town, which is probably the nicest in Sardinia. The experience was easy and pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. It gave us exactly what we wanted with the minimum of fuss.

I had to work in Algae to so didn't get spend to much time in the surrounding area, but the hotel it self is a perfect beach hotel with great accommodating people. I should up at 1am without dinner. The hosts and bartender went out of their way to make me a little something.

Overall, it's a ver nice place. We chose it for its location near both the old town and the beach. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast wasn't included in the room price, but for only five Euro per person the breakfast buffet was incredibly awesome. Again, we chose it for location purposes only. Still, we were very satisfied with the stay.

I spent a magnificent 4 days with my 2 daughters at the Alghero City Hotel. The location was brilliant, the rooms basic but within the Sardinian character. I was staying for one night at the hotel in a standard double room. The hotel is a larger one and may not be the most appealing hotel from the outside. But the foyer is tidy and clean. The hotel has a bar and a elevator. The room and the bathroom was quite large and the room had a balconey. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. The hotel is very close to the harbour and the city center. I have nothing to complain and can recommend the hotel.

Un incubo, assolutamente da evitare!

Ho soggiornato in questo \"hotel\" la notte di Capodanno e la mia esperienza è stata terribile. Non c'era acqua calda, e quando ho chiesto spiegazioni al proprietario, la sua risposta è stata ridicola: \"Se c'è acqua calda nelle altre stanze, dovrebbe esserci anche qui.\" La realtà era che l'acqua era gelata, e considerando che si trattava della notte di Capodanno, ho preferito non insistere ulteriormente pensando che almeno la mattinail problema sarebbe stato risolto. Inaccettabile!
Inoltre, il phon nella camera non funzionava, e la coperta che ci è stata fornita era spessa solo 1 cm, assolutamente insufficiente per affrontare il freddo. La pulizia lasciava molto a desiderare: polvere ovunque e un'igiene generale che definire approssimativa sarebbe un complimento.
Non sono stato l'unico a lamentarsi: anche altri ospiti nella struttura hanno segnalato altri problemi.
Per finire, il prezzo era esorbitante per un posto del genere. Non solo non abbiamo avuto i servizi di base, ma anche la qualità della struttura era ben lontana da quello che ci si aspetterebbe per una cifra del genere.
Questo \"hotel\" è l'hotel peggiore in cui sia mai stato . Non ci tornerò mai più e consiglio a tutti di evitarlo. Le uniche cose positive? La posizione comoda, ma nulla può giustificare una simile esperienza.

Struttura operante nella stagione estiva e, a detta dell'addetto alla reception (disponibile e cordiale) , aperta giusto per Capodanno per offrire il servizio ricettivo ai turisti. Abbiamo prenotato l'ultima camera matrimoniale/doppia disponibile e, telefonicamente, vengo subito informato sarebbe stata una doppia causa disponibilità. \"Nessun problema, uniamo i letti\" ho risposto. La stanza assegnataci non è stata di certo tra le migliori: piccola, odore di scarichi come siamo entrati, letti singoli frontali (quindi non unibili), copriletto macchiati, capelli nelle lenzuola, box doccia da sistemare. Di certo non è stato un trattamento da hotel classificabile come 4 stelle (vista anche l'assenza del servizio colazione), ma il tutto risulta comunque comprensibile vista l'apertura straordinaria.
Non ho ritenuto tuttavia comprensibile, la mattina, non poter fare una doccia tiepida, manco calda, perché (testuali parole) \"la stanno facendo tutti contemporaneamente\": ho richiesto il checkout posticipato (subito concesso), abbiamo atteso ma niente doccia. Scendo nuovamente, nessuno alla reception, lasciamo la tessera e partiamo.
Forse era meglio non aprire per l'occasione (o aprire con prezzi in linea col servizio offerto).

Esperienza terribile; struttura da poco ristrutturata ma in camera e in bagno mancavano cose fondamentali come dei ganci per appoggiare gli asciugamani, eravamo in 3 persone, delle zanzariere, o delle tende per non essere visti dalle camere di fronte. L’acqua calda non funzionava, ho dovuto reclamare per averla. Il telefono in camera non funzionava. Personale alla reception che non parlava bene italiano e non ci ha assistito in situazioni di bisogno. Colazione discutibile a 9€ con: caffè non del bar ma con le cialde, non c’era caffè dec,non c’era nessun tipo di latte vegetale; da mangiare due tipi di cornetti surgelati e una ciambella dura e vecchia; pane un affettato e un formaggio, allucinante per 9€ a persona. Per terminare l’ultima sera con una blatta nell’’ascensore sopra le nostre teste. Sconsigliato

Buena estancia en general en este hotel. Estaba muy limpio y a unos pocos metros de la playa.La habitación con balcón grande.pero no tiene mobiliario para poder sentarte. La cama grande y muy cómoda. Lo único que nos ha sorprendido es la poca amabilidad de la chica de recepción que estaba de día. Sin embargo el joven de noche era muy atento y servicial. Hemos tenido buena estancia en este alojamiento.

I go on holiday 5 times per year. This by far worst experience I ever had. The owner is only objective is money and giving a good experience to his customers.

- Old & outdated shower, tap and showhead. Very rusty
- Insects in the bed and all over the floor. The owner didn’t want to give us a new room although there were a lot of rooms available. He didn’t want to clean the room again for other people. His solution was to spray poison all over the bed and floor while we are stayin in this room.
- You have to use your towels for 3 days. If you want fresh towels before these 3 days. You would need to pay EXTRA 2 euro per towel. As a reason is given that is better for the environment
- The doors are very bad. Doesn’t stop any noise. You hear all the people that are in the hallway as if they are in your room.

After we didn’t get a new room because of the insects in our bed. We decided to leave the room 3 night early. We ended up loosing 400 euro because the owner didn’t want to cancel our reservation. But we felt this was the right decision. Expedia also tried to contact the owner to cancel our reservation but the owner was only after the money. We received a voucher of 87 euro from Expedia to compensate for this.

Fint lille hotel og æstetisk pænt indrettet. Ok service. Morgenmaden var skuffende, så var glad for, vi ikke havde betalt på forskud. Meget lydt da der er klinker på gulvet. Så kan høre når overboen trækker stole ud eller værelset ved siden sf hørte musik eller så TV. Så husk ørepropper. Vores altan var ud til meget kedelig baggård. Hotellet er fint til gennemrejse eller for nogle dage, hvis man gerne vil se byen. Ligger godt placeret til strand og den gamle bydel!

Hotell med centralt läge i Alghero. Vårt rum hade alla bekvämligheter man kan behöva. Vi hade bokat rum utan frukost, men detta fanns att köpa som tillval. Sängarna var bekväma, även extrasängen som vi hade på vårt rum. Enda problemet kan vara att hitta p-plats i närheten, tänk på begränsningarna för körning i de gamla stadsdelarna.

Personale cordiale e disponibile, avevo prenotato una camera singola e mi è stata data una matrimoniale. Posizione ottima sia per andare in centro ad Alghero che per prendere il beach bus. Dovessi tornare ad Alghero, alloggerei sicuramente qui.

Ospitalità, cortesia e gentilezza di tutto il personale sono i punti di forza di questo hotel, che ti accoglie nel cuore di Alghero a pochi metri dalla spiaggia e dal centro storico. Le camere sono dotate di tutti i confort, la colazione a buffet è ricca e gustosa. Consigliato vivamente a gente di ogni età.

L’hotel è carino e pulito, ma dovrebbero migliorare i servizi, la luce di chiamata dell’ascensore non funziona, il frigorifero nella mia stanza non funzionava, il water e il bidet si muovevano perché il cemento era staccato l’ho fatto presente e mi hanno detto che avrebbero provveduto ma niente, gli asciugamani vengono cambiati ogni 3 giorni oppure si deve pagare, alla reception la sera non c’è mai nessuno e le chiavi sono appoggiate sul bancone, chiunque entra può prendere le chiavi e salire nelle stanze, che dire un hotel non a 4 stelle.

Hotel taki standardowy. Wymaga odświeżenia.

Ogólnie jest czystko. Pokoje standard, bez przepychu. Jest łóżko, szafa, stolik, krzesło, mała lodówka, TV i łazienka. Położony całkiem fajnie. Blisko knajpy, deptak i port. Tylko wygląda na trochę zaniedbany. A winda to już żyje własnym życiem.

Non lo consiglierei

Sulla pulizia e la cura dei dettagli c'è ancora molto da lavorare. Servizio molto scarso per essere un hotel 4 stelle. Unico aspetto positivo: la disponibilità del personale a risolvere bisogni e necessità.
Ottima la posizione sia per raggiungere le spiagge sia per il centro.
