This is a great transit hotel when you need to stay between flights. Staff is very welcoming 5min walk to outdoor food market and small shopping mall (Paseo mall/market) and Robinson living mall/market another 5min walk. The hotel has big spacious rooms with small balcony with AC! They also have a small fitness room and a medium pool outside. Small restaurant/cafe and a breakfast area for a small fee. Another pleasant surprise was this hotel has regular medium firm. Something that seems hard to find.
Will definitely come back if I need connection/transfer flights.

Its a quite location with a walking distance to shopping mall, convenient store, local restaurants and 10 mins ride to nearby train station to city.
The early check-in available option with additional acceptable fee to secure your room is the reason why I choose this property.
The only con I wouldbe no hanger for clothes. Nor the shelves for toiletries in the shower rooom. But its not a big issue if you stay just a night.

Okay hotel and excellent location.

I have used this hotel many times due to it's location. 10 minutes from the Airport and 5 minutes walk to Paseo Mall that have restaurants, thai street food for 20 baht etc.
There is also hamburgers, pizza places. You have everything when it cones to food.

The hotel is okay. It was nicer before but like everything it's getting older.
It's still okay for a night. Before they had a good restaurant but now they only serve breakfast I think.
But that's okay you have everything just 5 minutes walk and also 7-11, Lotus, Tops just around the corner.

The service is real bad it was an airport transit and I need a room for a sick person to rest . She can’t walk by herself . Atleast she needs two people to help her . They said they only allowed one person to go to the room . We told them it was only for four hours transit we are not going to stay overnight. Travel a lot never happened before. Will not recommend. Bad neighborhood too

Used this hotel a lot.

Used the hotel many times before.
The hotel is in a very good location -6 minutes walk from a mall (Paseo mall I belive) with McD, Pizza Hut, Black Canyon coffe, Swensens different shops etc and also thai food and food court.

Across that mall they have no opened others like Burger King, Homepro, I even saw a sign Robinson. Also a big thai restaurant and smaller so there is a lot to chose of around.

So like i said, the location is excellent.
Airport just 10 minutes away.
Trainstation airport railway like 5 minutes away (car -can't really walk to it.) This goes in to Bangkok (and airport) and then you can take MRT train everywhere.

Breakfast before was good not anymore. I understand they can't have all food if the hotel is not fully booked so it's okay. Though all breakfast was from chicken -chicken ham, chicken sausage, eggs...
But there is a lot around like i said so can eat there instead.

I like the location and the hotel itself is good, friendly staff, nice beds, big fridge etc.

spacious room, clean, with ref and free 2 bottles of water. they offered transport to the airport for 150 baht which is a good deal. you need to walk 5-10 minutes away for the nearest food place-a japanese buffet, mcdonalds and starbucks but there is a nearby family mart similar to a 7-11 shop.staff were polite and welcoming.

The Crystal Suites is a transit hotel very close to Suvarnabhumi airport. Transfers take about 15 mins & the hotel provides a shuttle service for a very reasonable 159 Baht. The room we had was entirely functional & very clean.There was plenty of hot water, the air con was cold , the WiFi strong and the bed comfortable. The hotel provides basic restaurant facilities and there’s a mall very close by. There’s also a Thai 7/11 type store nearby which is open 24/7 . I would stay here again .

Ok for a night stop over if you need to be near the airport and just need a bed for the night. Towels,etc need replacing, door to bathroom didn’t shut properly. Breakfast adequate, nothing special. Shuttle available for extra cost.

Well, we would not stay again. Receptionist are nice.
But choice of food not a lot, only two coffee packets, tea and sugar in the room.
Breakfast looked awful, no great choice and tbe wanted 220baht each, we declined, tbe eggs looked like rubber.
We spilt a drop of wine on a bed sheet, they tried to charge us 500Baht to clean it.
I wouldnt recomend this hotel. Sorry.

We booked this hotel because it was less than 15 mins to the airport and we had an early next day flight to Phuket. Conveniently located with shuttle service provided 1 way only. Next morning they charged us equivalent of $10 USD to take us back to the airport. Staff is friendly and hotel does have nearby street vendors that was worth checking out. Only complaint we experienced was that there was mold in the bathtub. Not a deal breaker for us, but something the hotel should address.

Sadly a disappointing stay this time, being our 3rd visit in 8 weeks.

Ground floor room & the wifi was terrible, not sure if it was the amount of guests staying or the location of the room.
The bath towels are paper thin & grey, time to replace please management.

Usually a great airport stopover but disappointing

Having stayed with Crystal suites previously, we were disappointed with our room on this occasion as the locking mechanism on the room door was faulty & could not be repaired. Management offered to move us but we were exhausted & declined. Also we could not get the bath tap to convert to the shower option & taking a bath was annoying & time consuming. We complained to management the next morning & they offered a free airport transfer as compensation.
Apart from those issues we already had pre booked another 2 nights stay so hoping those stays improve.

The hotel is worn out. The hallway doesn't have Air Conditioning. Rooms are OK. The electric kettle had some white stuff in them and wouldn't come off. There is a mart a few steps away from the hotel. Also there is a nice restaurant down the street.

Staff messed up my booking and specail request was not answered or understood. They staff was even pretty rude about it and was not trying to understand. Charged me more money for one person to stay only a few hours. I paid for 10 nights, one bed, for 2 people. Had 3 people (myself and my 2 Wives) one night (few hours) and then one person (myself alone) the rest of the stay.
Did not feel welcome in any in way what so ever.
The television was the worst. Not one entertaining (movies, tv series/citcoms, cartoons, or anything other than news) in English. Had only 17 to 20 channels mostly in local language and many in other languages. I understand this is Thailand. But I hotel should think more about the customers that are staying.

I will not return. Mostly because of the treatment received from the check in staff and rude treatment. There are other just as nice hotels in the area. Many cheaper and in my past experience much more friendly and HOSPITABLE.

Not much of a nightlife area at all. But the Sangain is short taxi for local nightlife experience.

This is a good value hotel very close by the airport. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff were all very friendly. The shuttle service which dropped us off st the airport worked out perfect as well. I would recommend over some of the very expensive hotels connected to the airport

Hidden Fees!

The problem with this hotel is that they charge 150 baht per person for their shuttle. A taxi is only 75 baht, with a tip 100 baht. Then unlike similar hotels they charge 220 baht per person for breakfast. There are similar hotels that have a free shuttle and free breakfast for similar rates. I would not stay here again.

Perfect hotel for the airport.

The hotel is not new but has/is being refurbished. For an overnight stay or a couple of days it is perfect. 10 mins from airport and surrounded by markets and food outlets only a short stroll away with a 24 hour convenience store only two minutes walk away for emergencies. The hotel has a small restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The dinner menu is limited but what is served is plentiful and well cooked. The staff are willing, friendly and helpful at all times and nothing is too much trouble for them. Views from rooms are not good but you are in the centre of a busy area. I have stayed in The Cyrstal Suites on four previous occasions and have no problems with returning again on my next visit this year. For better prices when booking, book on line with agencies as opposed direct with hotel. Good value for money at an airport.

The room was basic, very clean with comfortable beds.) Everything you need for an overnight. I arrived at 3am from the airport and the staff were very welcoming. They organised the shuttle for me in the morning. Much cheaper than the taxi the night before! (Do not accept a flat rate. Ask for the meter.)

We were returning to Bangkok after an 11 day trip which included 5 nights in Bangkok. We needed a hotel close to the airport as we had an early morning flight and traffic in Bangkok can be heavy. This hotel was perfect - it was convenient, clean, had a great staff and was a short walk to an outdoor mall with lots of shops and restaurants. It was also 10 minutes by cab (arranged through the hotel) to the airport. The staff was very accommodating.

Did not book one portion of the airport shuttle; had difficulty with email communications when booking pickup from airport; had to enlist help from our tour guide on an unrelated portion of the trip. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but door and walls were thin, amplifying hallway noises (voices and slamming doors). Staff prepped a (free) breakfast to go for early 1:30 am departure, which included a small chocolate muffin, juice, and tea sandwich. Everything worked out well, except for the worry of not knowing about shuttle arrangements in advance, which would have been expensive for the 7 of us. Hotel rate for shuttle service is 150 baht per room, which is about $5.50 Canadian, cheap!

Not so good. Our WiFi didn't work at first and they had us switch rooms. We wanted a queen or double bed and received two twin beds. No kettle in the room, had to ask for one. The TV didn't work and the pool was under renovation. It's close to the airport which was good.
