Nice Place, quite and clean with excelent location

Very nice place, not fancy but cozy and very quiet. Nice room, clean and spacious. Nice and friendly staff. Excellent location in the old town near to everything, main touristics places in the city as well as great dinning places can reach by walk from here and is easy to get any transport in the area. If you stay there would be great if visit near places to take a meal, Al Dente italian restaurant, Espada or Drop In, all with excelent western food.

Great stay!

I have enjoyed my stay here! Although it is older and dated the room is clean and spacious. Very affordable room rate! The office staff is fantastic!!! They are there to help get a taxi, give directions and even help with cell phone connections. My stay is for 3 weeks and it feels like a home away from home! I definitely will stay here again if I come back to vacation in Chiang Mai.

The space was super affordable, I received a private room at Chana place for the cost of a dorm bed in most of the a ailable accomodations in Chiang Mai. There is no elevator, so if you are tired of walking around Chiang Mai a fourth floor room, while a good deal, may not be for you. Very easy check in, super super appreciated the early check in they allowed me! Thank you!

I stayed here in late May, 2019. All the staff members I worked with throughout my stay were helpful and knowledgeable.

I stayed in a private room with a double bed. The room was very spacious with desk and chair, a fridge and a TV. Private bath was also huge.

The only negatives, I had very tiny ants in my room. But I figure it’s SE Asia.
Also, three things you’ll get fined for: smoking, food, durian. Kind of sucks you can’t eat in your own room. But might be related to ant issue.
Finally, the WiFi is weird. You’ll need to get a new username and PW every two days. Also, there are times in the day (usually weekends and some busy evenings) where the connection is spotty at best. The concierge said it was because I have an iPhone and those have issues with there internet.
That said, these issues aren’t enough to not stay here.

We stayed for 3 nights and I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here more than 1 night. The AC isn’t that strong, there was a constant weird odor coming from our bathroom and the bathroom ceiling was leaking down the vanity mirror. Also, watch for huge cockroaches. Our original reservation said room with view but there wasn’t even a window in the room!

Staff here where great. Very helpful and friendly. Location was good for getting around the old city and if you wanted to go further out grabs and taxis were readily available. Room was not as nice as I was hoping to see but did the job. Pretty basic accommodation but we booked based on price and this was very reasonable. Overall I would say this place is ok, not bad but also not a five star hotel.

The Chana Place staff was most accommodating. I broke two ribs in a motorcycle accident during my stay. The staff drove me to the hospital and when I returned they moved me to a lower floor so that I did not have to climb the stairs. They also moved my luggage so that I didn’t have to carry them in my condition. They did this on their own accord without being asked. These people truly care about their guests. I will always choose Chana Place when I am in Chiang Mai.

nice room but floor filthy feet were literally black from walking inside the room. outside road noisy with building work for 630am.
on check in they demand a 500tb 'key' deposit but when you check out and give the key back you have to wait for them to check your room! also not helpful display things like airport drop off and motorbike rental but when you ask for it they direct you to the main road. room however was nice typical hard bed but it's Thailand

Check-in was easy and staff happily lock up your bags if you're early. Room was okay- no hot water and wifi is slow. The booking said city views but there was only one window in the bathroom that overlooked roofs. Renting scooters from them was easy- though the man who works there was extremely rude.

Nice basic hotel - no elevator

Nice size rooms with good amenities, comfortable bed but could use some updating including changing bathroom doors to something other than frosted glass for greater privacy and making them not swing with air pressure at night which was disconcerting until we figured out what the noise was.

The big draw back is the lack of an elevator so if your room is on a higher floor you will have a hike up with the luggage - at least the staircase is relatively wide and easy to navigate.

Hotel located a bit on the sidelines of the main tourist venues but within an extended walk to those.

Nice place next to the park

I loved the room. Bathroom was nice and had hot water. Bed was comfortable. WiFi, fan and A/C worked well. I could work from the desk in the room. The park is really close by if you want to go hang out in the afternoon.

This is a reasonable hotel. Decent sized room with everything you need - safe, fridge etc. Air con doesn't work too well so room was always very hot. Plenty of space.
Good location in the old city, fairly quiet but only a 3 minute taxi ride to the lovely market areas.
Staff were very helpful in showing everything on a map and always asking if we have everything we need

Decent hotel but I'd keep looking

27 year old married couple from USA... Stayed here for Yi Peng festival and although it is in the square, it's a bit away from the action. However, only 15min walk or 2$ ride. The room was marginal and staff spoke poor English. Overall, the price was right but if we come back, I'd try to stay closer to Tha Phae gate, in or outside of the square.

ในห้องมีกลิ่นท่อส่งกลิ่นเหม็นมาก เปิดประตูห้องน้ำทุกครั้งก็จะได้กลิ่นเหม็นเข้ามาในห้องนอน รถจอดซ้อนคันมีเสียงโทรศัพท์มาปลุกให้ขยับรถตอนตีห้าครึ่ง มีน้ำรั่วบริเวณที่นั่งเล่นกลิ่นท่อน้ำทิ้งเหม็นเหมือนกลิ่นในห้องนอน และไม่กลับไปพักอีกแน่นอนค่ะ

ファミリールームに宿泊。窓がなく電灯も少ないため薄暗い部屋です。基本外出していて寝るだけなので、部屋でゆっくり過ごさないスタイルの場合にはコスパ良し。掃除もしっかりとしているので、清潔感はありました。部屋内は全面禁煙ですが、ロビーに喫煙エリアありです。フロントデスクの人の対応は非常に良かったです

空港から近く、近くにコンビニ、マッサージ店、観光客へのツアーを組んでくれる所があり、歩いてマーケットやお寺に行けるので場所が良かったし、ホテルのスタッフの皆さんは気さくで優しかったです。
お部屋はとっても広くて、コスパがとても高いです。窓がなく、コンセントが少なくて、少し困りましたが、一泊であればなんとかなると思います。

フロントスタッフは皆フレンドリーでした。飛行機のチケットを手配して頂き、時間の無い私の為にセブンイレブンまでバイクで支払に行って頂けました。近くには非常に綺麗な公園もあり毎日散歩に行けます。スタッフに再会する為だけで再訪したいホテルです。

Sehr schönes Hotel in Stadtnähe.

Wir würden freundlich empfangen. Sie waren alle sehr hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren für den Preis sehr gut , eigenes, großes Bad. Es herrschte ein Eohlfühlklima.

Staff Very Rude.

The Hotel is generally good and in a strategic position for reaching the airport. However is in a dark and narrow street, faraway from the zone where to hang out such as Night Market.
The staff is very rude and when you arrive do not care so much to provide information to tourist and is absolutely not helpful. However is very fast to exclusively ask for the key deposit and the money related.

空港より、ソンテウでのろうとおもい声おかけたら１００バーツというので諦めて、歩きで５０分かかった、でも途中で７．１１によりコーラを買い飲みながら歩いて宿にタクシーはもっと高い値段でした、　帰りは、ターペー門より少し歩きソンテウで空港へ５０バーツでした。最初から吹っ掛けた値段でないのがわかりたまには、まともな人がいるんだと思った。市内は２０バーツです、中に５０バーツと吹っ掛けたやつがいたが、市内なので降りた際２０バーツ渡しそのまま私は去っていった。律儀な日本人の方々くれぐれもぼったくられて後から来る日本の方々迷惑かけないで。現地の情報収集してください。

去過曼谷三次,清邁是第一次,飯店在古城區交通便利,價格優惠,服務不錯,反應房客大清早和深夜吵,也有改善,住了12天,由三顆星提升至四顆星,是因為能重視房客建議做改進,員工素質不錯,搭機返國那天大清早下大雨,飯店工作人員只收費合理費用載我去機場,感覺蠻溫馨,以後有時間會帶親友去造訪住宿.

先後住了6晚。頭3晚的房間較好，只是被單有點污漬，窗外可望見遠景。後3晚的房間較差，窗外只看見本房的冷氣机。酒店尚算好找，附近亦可找到些價廉物味的食店。乘車去airport central plaza 購物，只需20 - 30 bahts, 約10分鐘，算很便利，去机場亦近。建議大堂改為非吸煙區，免得員工及非吸煙顧客受罪。我在登記入住時，由於房間正在清潔中，整個大堂都滿佈二手煙，唯有在按摩室外躲了半小時。我住過多間旅館，要這樣躲還是第一次！
