The building its self is not super sound proof. You hear noise of doors (even from different floors) and if people hang out at their table outside their room its like they are in your room. The room and property itaelf is fine, you just cant control the door sounds and people talking.

An ideal place to stay for our few nights in Chiang Mai. Clean, has all that you need and helpful staff. Great location! 7-11 and nice cafes for breakfast just round the corner, and markets, temples and a lovely park are just a short walk away. Perfect base when wanting to head out sightseeing. Can be noisy at night.

If you try to understand the definition of an Excellent hotel, this is the one. My stay could not be more pleasurable. Everything in this hotel was perfected, as it was carefully planned. If I decide to come back to Chiang Mai, I definitely will book this hotel. There is a laundry in front of the hotel and several travel agencies on the main street. Great Budget Hotel

A great location, great price, and nice overall stay. The room was small but great for 1-2 people with minimal luggage. It is a great deal find with a clean space and a safe area close to everything. Only issue was the AC requires the room key to be inserted so you will constantly be waiting for the AC to cool the room.

Very comfortable stay, rooms are small but we were provided with everything that was needed. Our breaker shut off about once per day but electricity was back up in less than 5 mins. We even extended our stay too. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Chiang Mai.

A very clean and neat hotel. It’s a little noisy sometime, the walls are quite thin so if you're a light sleeper this could be a problem. I had my own room and it was fine size wise but 2 people in a room might find it a little snug. The location is ok, I’d pick a hotel closer to the river next time but it’s close to the Saturday and Sunday night markets. Note the address on apple maps comes up in soi 7 but the hotel is actually in soi 3. Use google maps. Really good hotel for the price

The price is great but they request a deposit for the room key which you do get back at the end of your stay when you present the key and your receipt but seemed a bit excessive. Check in was slow, noise levels from the surrounding areas was pretty loud and the rooms are small. It’s not bad for the price though just depends who you get as neighbours.

The Cozy Inn Chiang Mai is great. Great value, clean, quiet and comfortable. We stayed for 7 nights while exploring Chiang Mai and the surrounding area. The staff is very friendly and helpful and free the breakfast buffet is exceptional for a small hotel. They even make your eggs anyway you like them every morning. The rooms are a little bit small. Other than that...a perfect stay at a good price!

Convenient location to visit old city. You can remt bike, scooter or môtrbike at the hotel. Don’t forget to visit Warorot market (outside of the old city) that would take about 20 min walking - worth for ít various commodities including foods, herbs, decortions.

I chose this hotel based on other reviews. This hotel is nestled on a small side street, with a short walk to the closest temple and only 10 min to the airport. Staff was friendly, room was clean and modern looking as the pictures show. We enjoyed having the small table and chairs in front of our room to have enjoy the night weather. Shower was warm enough and they provide shampoo and soap in a dispenser. We did use the laundry service, out clothing was returned to our room nicely folded, prices for this were very fair. We did not opt for the inclusive breakfast but paid 300 baht for 2 of us the morning before our tour. It had a small amount of choices, omlet, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, toast, juices, coffee. I would opt to eat at a local shop. We had breakfast at a cafe down the street for a lesser price, about 100 baht for 2. Overall, this hotel was great. We enjoyed it, only downside, which I did read in some comments, the bed is a little too firm. I still slept well but for others it might be a little much.

This hotel is great for the price. The room has everything you need. You get fresh bottles of water everyday, the wifi is great and hot shower. The breakfast was 150 baht and was very good as well. It had a great location, very easy to get to everything or get a tuk tuk or taxi is a breeze. If I had one complaint its that the pillows are very high, causing some neck pain, and the beds are hard, but this seems to be the norm in Thailand. The hotel staff was also ok, but for the price we were very happy with our stay.

pretty cosy, if your expectations match the price

was a solo traveller, so it was a nice cosy room for one. they had everything you needed, sufficient towels, a fridge for cold drinks, shower curtain to prevent too much water from getting all over, enough toiletries, toilet paper, hangers, mini bar (excluded from the room)

table in the room was rather small but they had a nice chill out spot right outside the room with a table and 2 chairs. appreciated the space too, was cosy not cramped, not that big but, enough to open a luggage with enough space. rooms are also relatively clean, could walk around barefooted without my feet getting all black.

was quiet when i was there but rooms are back to back so if your neighbours are noisy i'm guessing you could probably hear them. air conditioner was a bit noisy and you can hear the water dripping from the compacter from the toilet. but wasn't that overpowering unless you're sensitive to sounds.

didn't explore much but the hotel looked really inviting with all the greenery around. there's construction going on about 2 buildings down but there's no noise at all. 7-11 is also around the corner. near to sunday market but will need to walk a bit more to the saturday market.

breakfast wasn't included with the room. wished they gave a tour of the surroundings during check in though. there's not much security, you can practically walk past reception to go to your rooms.

Awesome! The rooms are small but very well utilized - the bathroom even has a little shower carved out versus just having a shower head on the wall as in many places in SE Asia. Exceptionally clean, one of the cleanest rooms I had over a 5 week trip staying in multiple cities, especially great when looking at the price point. Location is great too, walking distance to every temple in the old city and even the night and weekend markets. You also get a great view of the Doi Suthep mountain, perfect for watching the sunset while having a beer on the (shared) balcony and you can see the temple on the mountain as well. Breakfast buffet is good to, all the food is very fresh and your main is prepared upon request so it isn’t sitting out all morning. My only negative was that the coffee wasn’t to my liking, but it did the job. Would definitely stay here again on another trip to Chiang Mai.

Home Base in Old City

I stayed here for eight days. Location is great - in Old City, surrounded by temples and restaurants, yet situated down a quiet, residential lane. There is a lovely park two minutes away - perfect for early morning or evening walks. Hotel is new and maintained beautifully. Staff could not be more accommodating and professional from housekeeping to dining/kitchen staff, especially Pongpun who looked out for me when I wasn’t feeling well. I was made to feel at home each and every day.

Hotel was clean and easy to check in.. Extremely small for a 200 lbs male.. I could noy use the bathroom as i was unable to close the shower curtain around me.
No hot water so no shower for us

The hotel staff collected 300 thb as refundable security deposit for the room keys. The rooms are very clean with minimalistic looks. The hotel provides 2 complimentary water bottles per day. The bathrooms are clean and tidy. Overall , I would recommend this hotel and suggest the hotel to continue to provide the same service always.

We stayed for one night prior to an elephant sanctuary excursion outside of Chiangmai. After checking out in the morning, my partner realized he had left his money belt with passport, cash, debit cards and ID in the public washroom on the second floor (rookie traveling mishap!). We were already about 20 mins away by car, so we frantically phoned the hotel for help. They were able to secure the money belt and bring it to the elephant sanctuary office for us to pick up the next day. We were SO grateful. All the cash, ID and passport were located inside the money belt. Cozy Inn staff went above and beyond — saving us a huge travel headache and proving their honesty, integrity and excellent service. Thanks a million!

The rooms are cute and nice, and of course cozy as it says in the name. Though for this price, I don't think it's that cheap cus the room is quite small. However, the design is modern and the (small) room space is well managed to fit the essentials.

The staffs were nice but not remarkably helpful.

The location is not too bad, it's quite convenient to hail a song taew (two-benched shared taxi) when you walk out the soi (alley). There are cheap street restaurants around the neighborhood.

Pretty much no hot water in the room.... Good and quiet location, but breakfast ends early. I went upstairs to eat and sat down but no one bothered to tell me they weren't serving food. The room was quite nice, but the lack of hot water in the shower was awful.

This is cozy but has everything you need for a great stay. If you are new to Chiang Mai you should consider staying in the east side of the Old City before staying here. Cozy is in a residential area and has fewer options. In the east side, stay near the Eurana hotel or Jonadda Guest House. In this part of town there are dozens of cafes, hotels, restaurants, markets, coffee and juice bars , etc., at your fingertips. Kuhn Kae's Juice bar is a must daily stop (add fresh ginger and turmeric for no extra charge). At night you must check out the North Gate Jazz bar. It is trendy and the music and energy are a must see. Get there around 8:00pm if you want a seat, they go fast. Cozy is s close walk to the night markets which are also a must see. Staff at Cozy are very helpful. I asked to be moved because of noisy neighbors. They were full and couldn't move me but they did take care of the issue and problem solved. Cozy is great. Rent a bike or scooter to save your feet.

Clean, good location, quiet, helpful staff, and yes, cozy is accurate. Small rooms but nice. Like all the outdoor seating. Only criticism is the very expensive fines for ANY damage even a glass if it should fall is pretty pricey...so be careful. Also, no elevator for older guests but staff helped carry heavy bag up to 4th floor. Nice sunset view from balcony. Decent beds, too.

Cute, cozy, good mountain views

Overall very clean. Not any amenities like a pool or gym or anything. Cute and cozy is a good way to describe. Staff were really nice. We really enjoyed sitting at our little balcony set in the morning and having our coffee with a mountain view.
The only thing I would say is it's right next to the loudspeaker where they do the announcements in the day, so you will hear that if you happen to be there at the same time.

Nice modern rooms, although a bit compact. Comfortable bed, a small table out front of the room to sit outside, desk inside & power outlets conveniently located near the bed. Friendly staff & tasty breakfast with both Western & Thai options. Some problems with mosquitoes in the room (but this is frequent in Thailand) - they are aware & provide a nice lavender mosquito repellent cream in the room, which I used & didn't get bitten. A good area within the old town, not too far from the weekend walking street. A bit far from other things like the night market, train station or bus terminal, but easy to flag down a red bus close by. Would probably stay again.

Hotel was located in a small alley in between of the locals, surroundings is quiet & with nice mountain view. Room was pleasant & cozy except for 2 small problem which I think can be rectified just to please the guests. 1) the hot water heater was not hot at all & at the most warm but most of the time cold 2) cable was not much of choice of programs, other than that this is actually a nice hotel to stay.

Lovely and very affordable location to stay at. Rooms were decked out beautifully with all the necessities you will require. Minor downside is the absence of a lift, but the comfort of the rooms made up for it. Definitely a gem to stay at when you visit Chiang Mai!

Clean, friendly staff, modern comfortable style.

We loved our stay. Our favorite was the made to order eggs in the morning. You will need to book your room with breakfast. Otherwise you pay separate. Most is traditional Thai style food for breakfast but they also have granola, yogurt, and toast. Someone mentioned the beds are hard. This is true. This is the only problem of the hotel. If you are staying only a short time or have no issues with this then no problem.

Surprisingly nice for the price!

I was worried it might be a dive for $20 per night, but it was comfortable, the staff are of course friendly (it is Thailand), they rent out motorbikes, and the breakfast was delicious if simple. Not some cheap continental breakfast like in the US. Great location for being in old town in Chiang Mai.

Lovely little hotel

Stay was excellent. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Modern hotel, breakfast was nice. Definitely recommend and would stay again without hesitation.
