An utterly dreadful hotel, particularly for the price. The rooms smelt musty and unpleasant, the carpet was worn and the shower and windows were covered in mould. We paid more than £80 for a family room that was meant to sleep four people. We arrived to find three beds - a double and a single. On further inspection, we found a made-up pull-out bed underneath the double, but there was no space to put it up. Eventually, we wedged it at the foot of the double bed, which cut off half the room, unless we climbed over the bed with our sleeping children in. We also had one towel to share between four of us. Check-in was slow, mainly as people have to pay on arrival, and communication was difficult, with the staff on reception using a translation app to speak to customers. Drinks had to be purchased via the front desk too, and there was no outdoor seating, not even a couple of benches. Grim, extortionate and inefficient - avoid!

Easy access, safe parking. Cleanliness not sure.

Extremely easy access from motorway. Super smooth checking and payment. Several decent restaurant options within walking distance. Parking with security cameras and gate that locks at night. Spacious room but quite worn out, particularly in the bathroom/toilet area, which did not look as clean as other newer ACE hotels used in the past. A couple of bugs spotted walking on the carpet - it was a ground floor room after all.

No Food for Doggy

Stay was good other than we weren't allowed to take our very small dog into the breakfast area. The hotel accepts dogs and makes a charge, why not allow dogs into the breakfast room?

Excellent one night stay

Have stayed at this hotel twice before. Much better than other budget hotels in this price range. Large, clean room, comfortable bed. They've done something with the free wi fi access and I couldn't get it at all but that might just have been me. We had breakfast for the first time and it was ok, but I was surprised to find no fresh fruit, or any fruit for that matter ( but they do have DIY boiled eggs..!)
This is a great overnight stop, very easy to find from the A71, or, as we found this time, the A77. There is an excellent ring road - the N142 - which takes you almost to the front door of the hotel from that autoroute.

Tidy. Modern.

My one night stay was my third hotel due to a long road trip through france. Thai hotel was inexpensive and about 30 km from Calais and my ferry home. I arrived at 8pm. Booked in and asked if there was anywhere to eat. The person did not know of anywhere to eat. This was frustrating. The Campanile opposite had a restaurant. Alas it was for guest only and they were full too.
Back in the car for a trip into Dunkirk. The morning breakfast looked good. Alas. I was late so left without tasting it. Staff in the morning were very friendly until I said I would not be staying for breakfast. The smiles left and I was left with a cold feeling.
