This was an amazing stay. We got a room upgrade which was great and highly appreciated.
The only downside was the food and drinks service. On a couple of occasions our orders were wrong and we had some miscommunication when trying to explain that one of the children in our group had food allergies.

The hotel is clean and quiet, the staff is excellent and helpful full and answer any question, the brakefast the good and there is a variety, the room is clean and the housekeeping is good, and they clean the room during the morning and in the evening and serve us every day with mineral waters and a dish of fruits and chocolate, the view from the room i excellent looking to the pools and the see,w e like it very much and i recommend it worth visiting and sleeping

An absolutely amazing hotel. From check in with cold towels and welcome drinks to the time we checked out there was nothing we could fault. Beautiful bedrooms with comfortable beds and powerful showers, friendly, efficient staff, amazing food and plenty of choices at the buffets all of high standards. Lovely swimming pools, always clean, not too loud, attentive lifeguards that were friendly- honestly this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in. After the stay when back in larnaca at our holiday home, my son realised he forgot his teddy. The hotel went above and beyond to find him (he ended up in the laundry) and we went and picked him up! Highly recommend this hotel, even if you just do a couple of nights like we did. It’s worth every penny! We will definitely come back again next year!

Amazing stay in the new Amathus Residencies
I have stayed in Amathus and Four Seasons a few times now and was delighted to be upgraded to Amathus Residencies for our stay with free late check out. The 1 bedroom with pool was stunning and in its own private block, the garden and sunbed area was private and a few walking steps to the beautiful Adults only salt pool - i love this pool. The service was great, breakfast was good and overall stay was a great start to my holiday. We enjoyed every minute and were very appreciative of the upgrade - Thank you once again Amathus for an amazing stay, great memories were made!

For families with young kids, I couldn’t recommend highly enough. The outdoor kids pool was heated with fun slides for both younger and older kids. The most disappointing part was that the children entertainment show was only in English. First visit to Cyprus. Lots of hotel choices in Limassol but stayed at the Amathus on a recommendation. The facilities are excellent with a huge choice of swimming pools and restaurants, and easy access to a number of small beaches. But the service is absolutely outstanding - from the front desk and bell staff, to the cleaners, pool staff and waiters and waitresses. Will definitely return!

From the first step inside Amathus beach resort, we were so pleased we had booked to stay there.
The hotel itself, the facilities, the room, the view and the breakfast were all fabulous. But what made it even more special was the attentiveness of the staff. Without exception we felt so welcome by every single member we came across. Friendly and helpful without being imposing I feel they struck the perfect balance making it a more personal stay. The Xmas decor was beautiful and tasteful, the live piano was wow.

We enjoyed our stay! The rooms and facilities were nice, clean and well kept, the gym was well equipped and modern, there was a decent selection at breakfast and the food in the dinner restaurants was good too. The garden & sea area was also lovely. The staff were friendly, especially the reception and guest relation team, I would say that we found the bar staff a bit slow and inattentive at times though.
We went during winter and the car park, restaurant, pool etc were already quite busy so this might a bit much in summer.
The location was convenient and overall we enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel!

It is a beautiful hotel! A kid’s heaven and there is also adult only pool and beach. Nice walk way in front of beach for daily walk or running. Although we did not have the VIP upgrade cause it was not available. But the room manager was very kind to give us a dining voucher and a late check out.
One thing to be aware is the restaurants will bring you bread without asking and then charge 7 pounds for it. Especially at the Limanaki Fish Restaurant, with 2 tiny slices breakfast bread, and half bagel looking slice. The Grill Room brought a full round bread. I don’t mind to pay for it, if they asked at the front. But don’t like the way they sneaked in to charge it!

We stayed here after staying at its sister the Four Seasons next door. In April the advantage of the Amathus is the pools feel warmer as they are smaller and easier to heat. the garden is lovely and bigger than the Four Seasons garden area for sun loungers, they also have a good free kids buffet. Drawbacks are the bathroom has no door (the loo has) which is tricky if you are a family sharing - you need to close the blinds on the shower too. And the general restaurant is much more cafeteria like particularly the outdoors area.

This is a lovely hotel but somehow I was left feeling disappointed. The staff were very nice and attentive, the breakfast was great quality, the facilities fine but on arrival the building seemed like a concrete block and it felt more of a great business hotel rather than resort hotel. The first floor had odd baths which at first I thought wee for disabled people but seems to be just a style of combining bath and shower. The sofa bed is not recommended for anyone but younger children. The mattress is too thin and uncomfortable for older children. Nevertheless it is a great place and I cant quite put my finger on why it did'nt work for me.

From the minute we checked in, the service was impeccable. We were given a beautiful seaview upgrade room. Throughout our stay, the staff allowed us to sit in areas around the lobby, near the pool or the dining areas, for as long as we wanted; continuing to politely ask if we needed anything. The morning buffet had the best selection and highest quality food; as well as the evening dining along the Med, was so enchanting with the fine dining and excellent serving staff (showing us the fresh seafood and explaining each). We were provided the General Manager's name and said, not to hesitate if we needed to, to ask for him. However; the only reason we would have asked for him to tell him, would have been to tell him HOW GREAT OF TIME WE HAD AND HOW WONDERFUL HIS HOTEL IS.

We went to Amathus for two nights as part of a getaway without the children! The staff really knew how to pamper us and made us feel like royalty! Was definitely needed (someone else taking care of us) after spending months in lockdown with a newborn and 5 year old (I am sure most of you can relate). From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out our well-being and needs were always on the mind of the Amathus staff! Thanks for making our well deserved break all that more memorable!
