A quiet oasis near the autobahn
Simple, yet nice and clean hotel that is conveniently located near the A9 autobahn. We spent a night here while heading through Germany and enjoyed the quiet location. The village is very quiet and a nice place to wind down after a day on the road. The room was not the most modern, but clean and comfortable. The only thing we missed was air conditioning as it was quite warm at night, but this is rarely available in Germany for some reason. Our two year old also enjoyed the playground across the street.

Room was clean and big, shower had good pressure, bed was comfortable. However, breakfast was not hygienic, flies and insects were on the food on display including the bread, meat, and fruit- quite revolting. The milk I was given for my coffee seemed to have been used by a previous guest and the cups/ utensils were not clean. Despite the low of the breakfast, the other aspects of the hotel were good

I booked this hotel on Hotels.com the day I intended to stay. I was traveling and on my way to Wittenberg. This place was just what I was looking for! I got a single room that was clean, sizable, and quiet.
The hotel has a very good restaurant and bar. I had the schnitzel for dinner and took advantage of the included breakfast the next morning. They were both excellent.
The staff is friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a place to stay that's close to A9 or Wittenberg, but don't want to pay the outrageous prices, this is it! I definitely recommend.

Vi bruger Waldschlößchen som mellemstation på hjemrejse fra det sydlige Tyskland. Hotellet ligger fredeligt og tæt på motorvejen. Det er særdeles billigt og i god stand. Menukortet er absolut tysk; men de laver også en rigtig god rump-steak. Der er ikke aircondition.

Wir waren enttäuscht.Erstens hatte ich es als Geschenk zum 60. Geburtstag geschenkt.Wollte eine Nacht mit Wihrpool und Sauna nutzen .Leider wurde mir erst vor Ort mitgeteilt das es im Umbau ist und nicht nutzbar.Es hätte auf der Webseite stehen müssen.Mein Zimmer 115 im Bad hat extrem nach gulli gerochen.Übel .Sonst war das Zimmer sauber und ordentlich.Essen war sehr gut .

Schönes, sauberes und modernes Zimmer inkl. ordentlichem Frühstück und kostenfreiem Parkplatz zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Sehr ruhige Lage, trotzdem sehr verkehrsgünstig ca. 5 min per Auto von der A9 gelegen. An der Autobahnauffahrt gibt es eine kleine Raststätte mit allem, was man als Reisender braucht. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen als Unterkunft auf der Durchreise aber auch für den Urlaub in der Region.

Ein schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Mit der Renovierung der Zimmer ist begonnen worden, aber auch die anderen Zimmer sind OK. Für uns Ältere wäre ein Aufzug prima. Sehr gutes und preiswertes Restaurant

Eigentlich hat das Hotel weder mit einem Schlösschen, noch mit Wald viel zu tun, der Name suggeriert etwas, was die Unterkunft nicht unbedingt bietet. Dennoch ein relativ schön gelegenes Hotel mit großen, sehr sauberen und gut ausgestatteten Zimmern. Im Kontrast hierzu steht lediglich das Bad, das sich ins Ambiente nicht recht einfügt und eher den Charme einer Nasszelle versprüht. Ich empfand das Zimmer (2. OG) auch als etwas hellhörig, da insbesondere die Zimmertüre geklappert hat, wenn andere Gäste auf dem Gang ihre Tür oder die zum Treppenhaus geöffnet haben. Selbst ein doppeltes Absperren der eigenen Zimmertür brachte nur wenig Abhilfe.
Das Hotel wartet mit einem reichhaltigen und liebevoll angerichteten Frühstücksbuffet auf. Der Parkplatz ist ausreichend groß und direkt vor der Eingangstür gelegen. Die Speisekarte des hoteleigenen Restaurants ist leider überschaubar und wenig exklusiv, die Qualität war in Ordnung.

Hotel Waldschlösschen har en fin beliggenhed mellem Dessau og Wittenberg, som vi besøgte. Stemningen på hotellet var lidt dæmpet p.g.a. Corona, men værelset var fint, morgenmadsbuffeten rigelig og afvekslende. Alt i alt et fint ophold og supergodt til prisen.

Egal, ob im Frühstücksraum oder im Zimmer, es fehlte durchgängig an Kleinigkeiten. Der nicht übermalte Wasserfleck an der Decke, die Spinnweben in der Ecke, die mangelhafte Aufhängung der Lampe im Zimmer der nicht justierbare Duschkopf geben den selben Eindruck wie die abgewohnten Stühle, die vertrockneten Blumen und der angeschlagene Spuckschutz im Frühstücksraum - es fehlt deutlich an der laufenden Instandhaltung der Zimmer und des Inventars. Das Angebot beim Frühstück war o.k., die Aufbereitung war jedoch nachlässig. Es geht nicht, dass Reste von Tabletts auf dem Buffet vom Servicepersonal auf frisch angerichtete Tabletts geschoben werden und Vorlegebesteck, dass auf den Boden gefallen war wieder auf das Büfett zurückgelegt werden. Da kann auch korrekte Bekleidung im Livree nicht über den Mangel hinwegtäuschen.

Es war insgesamt sehr gut,nur hatten wir ein bißchen Pech mit unserem Zimmer.Unter unserem Fenster befand sich die Raucherecke,wo die Raucher (Monteure) früh morgens vor ihrem Frühstück noch eine Rauchen mußten.Und dieser Rauch zog leider in unser Zimmer.Wir sind beide Nichtraucher.

Bodde en natt på det här hotellet, valde de bland annat pga av spa och gym. ”Spat” är det värsta jag varit med om, smutsigt, det fanns inge vatten i poolen och ingen bastu var på. Att man ens får kalla det gym när man ställer in ett löpband, en cykel och en crosstrainer i ett rum är skandal, ingen ventilation i rummet där ”gymet” låg.
Servicen på detta hotell är den sämsta jag varit med om, ingen pratade ett ord engelska! Wi-fi var bara att glömma, vi fick inget lösenord till det och jag satt i receptionen i 25 minuter för att få kod till det men de fanns ingen där som jobbade. På rummet var det runt 40 grader trots ”luftkonditionering” som var helt obefintlig. Vi fick ingen information om något alls vid i checkning så som frukost, utcheckning och allmän information. Rummen kändes inte rena och inte handdukarna heller. Inget med detta hotell var bra. Skulle aldrig någonsin rekommendera det för någon.
