Pets fine, but this place is Section 8 housing . So, if you want drugs, hookers, and to hear banging doors, this place is for you. The room was gross. There was somebody's bra hanging in the bathroom. Was refused fresh towels the next day. Had to ask for a blanket. There was blood spatter on the nightstand and big drops on the floor. Yucky

Staff support was ok, first room bed was firm on one side and other side,you had to fight from rolling off. Toilet was leaking, was transferred to another room. It was 4 star , little dirty and vents on air conditioner/ heater was not cleaned. Whiskey bottle found in there and walls and windows are dirty. Otherwise second room was ok.

Deluxe room supposed to have coffee maker and does not have one. They say free coffee at front desk everyday and barely have it about 3 times a week. Ice room was broke down for 9-14 days plus other problems. You would think, since ive been staying here for over 3 months they would offer a free stay or refund me some cash for all the inconveniences.

Had to wait almost an hour to get somebody at the desk to check us in . Called several times nobody answered range the bell for several minutes nobody came then the gentleman came from outside almost an hour we waited to checkin granite he was very polite just took him forever to get to the office to check us in.We get our room there's stuff all over the floor like it hadn't been vacuumed. Few days go by and we need the heater a snowstorm hit didn't work thank God we had to electric heaters in the truck. We let them know front counter say come in at or before 11:00 tomorrow and we can switch your room. Try to call in the morning before walking down and the snowstorm lady has us leave a message in our own room which we didn't even have a phone second time calling she hangs up on us third time it just raining went to voicemail fourth time it finally went through had to call four times to get taken care of room. The room we had sas a king suite one of the higher priced room. She then switched our room to a reg queen.1/2 the price of the king room lady had no idea what she was doing I don't really think a whole lot of them have any idea what they're doing . The heater didn't work in here either there was mold in the bathroom we were next to neighbors who had four dogs in one room that could have been more than 200 square feet that literally barked all freaking day lots of druggies running around and working girls. People dont clean or look after there dog's.use to be nice here.

I never actually stayed, I requested a refund after for the third time they gave me a dirty room with defects. First room, 125, no one vacuum the floors, the lights by the bed didnt work, the surfaces where dirty and the toilet had poop stains. I went to the front desk and she didnt even said sorry, she just have me the second room, 137. This room was "clean" but the hand washer didnt work and the TV was broken, I went to the front desk again and she gave me room 135. I entered this room and it was a combination between 125 and 137. It had toilet poop stains, the hand wash didnt work and the room was dirty. I immediately told front desk to give me a refund. No sorry, no nothing, they didnt care. 0/10 DO NOT STAY THERE.

This hotel is very dirty. The first room they tried to put me in had dirty linen and puddles of water on the floor. The second room they put me in had cockroaches. I didnt even sleep here, the backseat of my car at a random michigan rest stop was cleaner and more comfortable. The gentleman working reception was awesome though.

"Non-smoking" room smelled of cigarettes. Complained to employee at front desk and he said there was another room available -- that one smelled even worse.

Door to room did not shut properly, so if we were to leave the room, anyone could walk in. Complained to same staffer who said it couldn't be fixed that day.

AVOID this place at all costs.

I purchased for three days and pulled him out of there 2 days early. O you want a refrigerator that’s extra o you want a microwave that’s extra or by the way you need to pay in cash $20.00 check in fee. After I just paid $ 221.00.

Never again will stay at a red roof inn. Garbage

Zero star!! I stayed here several years ago and there were no issues. It is a transient area, but it is fine for a night or two. Or at least it used to be. My room was definitely full of smoke as all of them are because people are going to do whatever they wish when they reside there permanently. In addition, the toilet overflowed onto the floor, and I had to rush my belongings to my vehicle. I entered the un air-conditioned lobby was met with a young man that literally had no words and simply called the poor housekeeping, individual who did not have proper safety equipment to clean up a mess that athey reside their permanently. The hotel clerk went out of his way to make sure our room choice was to our satisfaction. The first room was very smoky smelling, so he personally escorted us to a better room.
The room was great for the money..no coffee pot or hair dryer and no breakfast, but we didn’t expect much. But a decent, clean and comfortable room for a quick overnight stay was all we needed.

Don't expect to get anything you booked.

I booked a handicap accessible room with a king bed and when I arrived i was told that I would be getting non of that. Was put in a double bed room with a nasty bathroom and shower curtain, not to mention what looked like blood on the broken chair in the room. I wasn't even offered a better rate, just got charged for a room i didn't get. I heard it was under new management and you can tell. I used to stay here every time we were in Michigan but never again

Staff tried breaking into my room while I was showering. Had I not had the bar locked, they'd of been in my room DURING my shower. Their reason? Too add a cable box. Like, how about calling before just showering up and breaking into my room? Horrible staff.

The location is great! Close to the express way and plenty od nearby grocery stores and restaurants. Downside is that the ice machine as been down for quite some time. Not sure if they plan to fix it, when asked they just say "we called and we dont know when they'll be out". It also gets noisy at times due to the children running around playing on the stairs.

This was a last minute decision to stay the night, and the motel wasn’t terrible, but not great. Cons: The bathroom doors had 5 holes in it, smelt like cigs, shower leaked on floor, and under the bed there was debris. Pros: Nice bed, came with fridge and TV close to gas station, not noisy, and close to a gym.

The service in the office was great ! The rooms have plumbing issues and broken drawers in the rooms. My 12 year old son and I were sleeping and woke up to at least an inch of water all over the floor drenching our clothing and belongings. The front office gave us a different room but did not accommodate the $70’s in laundry I had to do at the laundromat.

I was pleased with the price and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in while on the road. The shower was good and so were the towels. The tv was adequate but barely!
On the negative side, people made a racket above me and beside me every night into the wee hours. It was disturbing and it went on for 4 nights. It sounded like someone was working on building something or repairing something. Outside in the parking area right outside my door was a car jacked up with a tire removed and some of the suspension lying underneath it. In 50 years of travel this was a first and I must say it left a negative impression on me as I would never let someone repair their car in my parking lot if I ran a hotel. Makes the place look less hospitable in my opinion.
Overall, aside from the noise, it was very adequate and I’ll probably stay there again to see if the second time is an improvement over the first visit!
Also, the room could use usb outlets on the bedside table. That is very common in hotels as I travel!

For starters, after booking online I was told they required a 50$ deposit for the room
after paying with a debit card they told me it took 3-5 business days for a reimbursement. Once checked in noticed the Lock on door was broken. Cleanliness was very poor. Air conditioning was next to nothing. Comfort was not present. La as lackluster and subpar stay at best.

Booked a reservation for two beds. Of course they said they were out of doubles. The property had shady characters all around. I didn’t feel truly safe. About midnight someone tried to open my front door. They started trying to kick it in. I yelled that I was in the room but they were determined and kept kicking. I called the police After a few minutes the kicking stopped and I called the front desk. They said it was them kicking in the door. Stating that no one was suppose to be in that room. I stated you were the one that checked me in. He asked my name and apologized. The cops finally showed and said they had just spoken to front desk. They were apologizing for kicking the door. Never again

I didn’t have a good experience from the time I checked in. The room smelled, wasn’t clean, the shower had bugs and wasn’t clean. It was uncomfortable to say the least. The first night people was up late outside my door drunk, yelling, partying etc. The second night a couple was arguing outside my door for a least 3hrs. I had to pay 2 deposits for a 2 day stay. It wasn’t worth it. From now on I’ll just pay the extra money to be comfortable
