This is a clean hotel, courteous staff, couldn’t ask for better. And if you enjoy an extra firm mattress, this is the place for you (not me)! At my age I need a mattress with a bit more give (completely personal preference). No reason you shouldn’t stay.

Beds were not clean. Had hair, skin flakes and crumbs in them. Was moved to two seperate rooms with the same problems given the excuse that possibly the wshng machines werent cleaning properly. Very upsetting and was given no other options than to stay there for two nights. Staff was annoyed and rude at the issue as well. Will not go back

Stay there annually for the NCAA tournament (hang at Gator Jakes - walking distance away and walk to the hotel that night). Staff always great. Breakfast is ok (from a hotel breakfast standpoint). Not gonna win any awards, but it’s enough. Rooms are clean and very nice.

Room was gross, someone literally wiped poop on the wall and it was left there. Crumbs all in the bed frames, weed coming through the vents. People screaming and running in the hallways until 4 am. A guy literally smoking a blunt right outside the front door and the staff says nothing. Yogurt machine? Empty. Pancake machine? Broken. Milk was spoiled. There was a sweet girl at the front desk that worked at night and one elderly gentleman that cleans that’s nice but other than that it was not a great stay. I came here for a hockey tournament and I’m the one that convinced our team to stay here because I always love staying at the Tru but this one was not good. I do have videos and photos to prove what I’m saying if you’d like. Thanks

The breakfast was fabulous although we thought it should be open until 10 on weekends instead of 9. There was a big disturbance on the 4th floor where we were at 6:30 am and the police had to be called to kick out the people. The hallway reeked of weed when we left that morning. Super convenient location with grocery and food places nearby.

Honestly, the room service was terrible! They cleaned the room but didn’t even bother to leave clean towels in the bathroom. The hand soap and body wash were empty, and they never refilled them. When my husband called to ask for towels, they told us we had to go down to the reception to get them ourselves. So disappointing!

I stayed at true by Hilton at another location and it was very very clean and I loved it but this location wasn’t as nice. It was just OK. The housekeepers were always on my floor around the door a lot of the time so it was a little noisy and a lot of talking and moving around

Worse stay ever at TRU

Loud, kids running through the halls banging on doors & running. While the parents set out at the fire pit drinking. Chalk & trash everywhere. Lady put a bag full of poop outside her door at 7pm. It was still there at 10:30am. Front desk said we try to keep ppl with kids on the lower levels but I didn’t have any kids & got stuck on the rowdiest floor.

Save your money, it is GHETTO!

The lady at the front desk was great, she deserves a raise for what she had to put up with. The hotel was so ghetto with the amount of people there. The pool was so crowded and it was cold, dirty and just a horrible time. There was lint all around the pool floor, the people who were in the pool had stuff everywhere, they were so loud and obnoxious. The kids swam two short times last night. Then once this morning, but after they jumped in we quickly had to take them out for sanitary reasons. The people who were there at night left towels inside the pool, a key card, keys, and what looked like poop at the bottom of the pool. The pool should have never been open. At night there were groups of parents drinking in the lobby while kids were in the pool alone creating chaos. There are no ice buckets in the room, no coffee maker, microwave, etc. People were outside yelling and smoking/drinking. The place is just something we will never return. I would ask for my money back because of that, but i know they will deny and it is not worth the headache!

Driveway entrance is not marked from public street. Locating the parking lot, which requires driving between unrelated businesses is ridiculous. Essentially, the drive entrance can only be found by trial and error from a high speed, traffic congested road.

The front desk girl was extremely rude when we arrived and we had to ask for the manager. We got a king size bed room, for me the mattress wasn’t comfortable, got a back pain the whole time we were there. Someone had puked on our floor by the elevator on Saturday afternoon and by Sunday when we were checking out, (around 11am), it was still dirty. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The bed was very uncomfortable and hard. It was questionable on if the sheets were new because it was very wrinkly. Mold growing in the shower and the door protective stripping. Walls also need to be cleaned in the bathroom. First time at a Tru not sure that I’d do one again. They do allow you to pick a room at check-in on line which is a PRO.

I was excited to stay at this hotel to explore the area and swim with my daughter, but unfortunately when we got to our room and checked the beds, it was absolutely GROSS. There were crumbs everywhere and the bed frame looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. I always check the mattress and bed when staying at a hotel, and this one was just disgusting. We immediately decided to leave.

Thankfully, Expedia was incredibly helpful and issued us a full refund without any hassle, huge thanks to them for making the process smooth during a frustrating situation.

I will say the front desk woman was very kind and understanding, and I appreciated her professionalism. But overall, I was extremely disappointed in the room cleanliness and wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel was really cute and the staff were great. However, common areas needed cleaning and the place was so noisy. Quiet time was not enforced at all. Kids were running up and down the halls until 3:30am and back up again at 7:00am. We definitely didn’t get a restful night’s sleep.

‏ I did my reservation on Friday June 27 I reached the hotel around midnight or before it a little bit before the dusk was trouble there was a lot of stuff like junk the lady which is check us in she had a dirt shirt. give us a room with bad smell and the AC was turned off will ask him to change our room first time they told us there was no room available all sold out but my wife insist to change the room. She talked again with them. They give us different room the lady at the dusk. She was in bad mood. Thank you.

At check in the room was not ready and the front desk did not like that we booked through a “third party”. We checked in 2 hours after check in time with 1 king room. Rooms were average but the kicker is that in multiple rooms there were hand prints on the walls and ceiling. Clearly not the cleanest place.
The breakfast was nice and a good variety. I personally will not stay here again. Not up to the Hilton standards this time.

The hotel only had 1 front desk worker at the time of checkin with a line out the door. Anyone that reserved a queen bed had to wait because their rooms weren't ready (thankfully we had a queen, but saw others still waiting in the lobby almost an hour later).

The space seems nice, pool, gym, pool table, store but we were there for a quick overnight trip and didn't use any of it.

The rooms are loud. People were in and out of the hallway at 2am. We could hear the people above us anytime they moved.

Overall just a meh experience. Probably wouldn't stay here again with the risk of not having my room ready.

Great staff at a great hotel!!

Check in was fast and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the rooms are nice and bright. They serve a hot breakfast with eggs, sausages, oatmeal, pancakes etc…. The area around the hotel is safe and there are a few stores in the area. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and we had a great sleep. We will definitely stay here again.
