First off I tried to cancel my reservations two weeks in advance since my business trip got moved to a different area and I was told that they would not honor my request nor would they give me a refund. I also had a family emergency and needed to check out on Saturday and they still refused to refund my money. The hotel is outdated. The carpets are nasty. The so-called restaurant is basically just burgers and fries not good. Also I NO got Sleep two nights in a row, because of the room next to me the first night I didn’t complain the next day. I did mention I wanted to be moved the desk clerk would not move me saying that there was a new person next to me and still got woke up at 2 o’clock in the morning. I had to call to complain at the front desk. They so were loud so I got no sleep, mind you I was on a business trip and needed to get up early and with no sleep was not good. I mentioned at checkout about it. The desk clerk was very rude. No care in the world I will not Ever recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

I hate to complain but I was really looking forward to the stay and it did not meet the expectations of what I saw in the pictures.

Got to our room, toilet was leaking water from the back tank. One of the soap packages was open with the bar of soap sitting out. After filling up the Jacuzzi and and running the jets, the tub started filling up with \"cucumber\" shaving and bits! I called down to the front desk, took forever for him to come up. Saw the issues and was offered nothing. Said he would put it in the notes. Stopped by the front desk at 4 am and the lady working hadn't heard about our incident and check my account, no mention of the issues. She informed me she would note my account and told me a supervisor would be in in the morning. At checkout, a young male at the front desk told me that because I booked my room through 3rd party that I had to contact them. So now I'm writing a review and I will be escalating this after the holiday, on Monday.

I’d give this place 2 stars. It’s barely a step above ghetto and feels like an overpriced motel dropped into a middle‑class neighborhood. I had to switch rooms three times: the first had a “hot” shower that was basically heated pool water, the second had water running nonstop and wouldn’t shut off, and the third had a dead phone.
The hallways constantly smelled like marijuana, and the smoke drifting in gave me a contact high more than once. The rooms were minimally cleaned, the lighting was dingy, and the door felt as thin as paper. You can literally see the grime embedded in the hallway carpet.
Don’t let the lobby fool you. The coffee tastes like dirt water, and the breakfast is extremely basic—cereal, a waffle maker, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, and a few random items. Staff presence was minimal, and I didn’t see any security or cameras anywhere inside or outside, which didn’t feel great.
I will say it was quiet, but that’s about the only positive. This place desperately needs an update. Definitely not what I expected for Troy.

I had spiders and ants in my room. What the heck? There were hole in the bathroom wall. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay open. They did not come and service my room from Mon tell I departed on Friday. I sent a video to the hotel of the terrible conditions no one responded.

The hotel smells strongly of cigarette and marijuana smoke. There were dead light bulbs in the room.
The kitchenette was completely empty and the front desk said that they would not provide any flatware, dishware, or cookware.
Cleanliness is generally an issue with peeling paint and deeply stained carpeting throughout.
Not a pleasant stay and checked out early to find alternative accommodation.

The hotel is of extremely poor quality. The rating and reviews are completely misleading. To start with, the balcony door had a large hole that the management tried to fix with nothing but duct tape—which wasn't even sticking. Freezing air was blowing directly into the room, and I could hear all the traffic noise from outside. The floor was filthy; it hadn't even been swept after the previous guests. All the furniture was covered in stains from spilled drinks. There was hair on the bed and in the shower, and the toilet was dirty. During breakfast, the tables in the restaurant were simply disgusting.

Relatively clean, comfortable room. Toilet needed repair because it stopped flushing and shower curtain bar was broken, so the curtain did not stay closed when showering. Other than that, it was ok. Nothing amazing, but if you need a place to stay at a reasonable rate, it works.

It took 3 rooms before we could find one acceptable. First one had urine dried on the toilet seat. Second room wasn’t even made up. Third room was ok. Although funny smell and hallway smelled like cigarette smoke and dope. For breakfast in the morning the waffle dispenser was broken. Another customer showed me how to get the batter out. Front desk the next day was helpful in recovering an item we left in the first room before we moved. Went to have dinner in restaurant and looking forward to a glass of wine. Restaurant wasn’t licenced to serve wine. Overall disappointing.

My only problem was with breakfast. The first morning, there was no yogurt or breakfast sandwiches. I looked for them twice within 45 minutes. No eggs on any day You know they are listed as available, right? I would have liked banannas over apples. Most people would.

Staying here felt like stepping into a hilarious mashup of Home Alone 2 (the New York dream vibes) and The Shining (minus the spooky twins… I think). The king-bed kitchenette room was spotless, cool, and comfy enough to make me consider moving in.

Front desk staff? Kind, patient, and actually helpful — unicorns in hospitality.
Cleaning ladies? Absolute angels with vacuums. I wanted to adopt them.

The hotel sits all tucked away at the dead end of Troy, which makes it feel secretly luxurious and deliciously secluded. Tons of parking too — you could land a small plane out there.

Didn’t try the pool yet, but I’ll be back this coming up summer to splash around like it’s my personal home state resort.

10/10 recommend — especially if you like your hotel stays with a little personality and a whole lot of comfort

So I've been here before they changed companies or got bought out, always been good. But this time i stayed for a weekend instead of a full week and honestly im kinda glad i stayed for a few days. The room had some grime or mold in the bathtub so drainflies came out, i didnt notice it was from there till the second day, but honestly some bleach and elbow grease can get rid of it. But the part i didnt like was i had a conjoined room, but whoever i was next to wreeked of smoke so hard that the alarm was going off, they smelled putrid and of heavy smoke and it kept leaking into my room. It was hard to breathe at times, so my ac was always cranked to cool, high fans. Everything else was good, staff is always friendly and remember me, new restaurant they opened has really good drinks and portion sizes for the food also great staff.

I’ve stayed here before and it was great. I stayed again and it was, odd, to say the least. First, I had a joining room which I don’t particularly like, but I never specified that I didn’t want it. The door was very thin and the lock seemed like a normal lock you’d find in your home. Second, the balcony door lock was completely broken. I was on the second floor so I didn’t bother asking to switch rooms. I felt safe because of the area, but as a solo traveler I didn’t really feel secure. Neither of those were dealbreakers though.

My second time showering, it wouldn’t drain and the toilet randomly started running throughout the night. Again, not a dealbreaker. But then my third night, there was some sort of party happening downstairs at the restaurant and music was blasting until about 11:30 pm. I also noticed my alarm clock was blinking and my tv completely lost service so I couldn’t even drown out the sound of whatever was happening. I texted the number I was given, asking if there was a power outage or something, and no reply. It was about midnight at this point so I just tried to go to sleep.

All in all, it was just a really strange experience. None of these would prevent me from staying there again on their own but to have it all happen in a matter of a three night stay will make me think twice next time I’m in town.

We have stayed here several times with no issues until this time. The staff is always wonderful and the rooms are generally clean- this visit we closed the curtain to the room at bedtime and the curtain was covered in pizza sauce or something from someone else's stay. I did let the staff know. Other than that things were comfortable.

This is boarding 2/3 stars. Looks like they attemped to remodel but didnt hit the mark. Wasnt terrible but looks like an old motel 6 or something similiar. Always clean, comfortable & friendly staff! We have stayed here several times for hockey tournaments & will continue to do so. It's a Fantastic stay, especially for the price. The beds are quite firm, which I love. It's a great location & feels very safe! They also now have a little burger restaurant that smelled Amazing!

Worse I've seen in a while

The entry way and reception was fine, except for the overwhelming scented odor of some sort of air freshener. In the Room, carpet smelled like dirty socks, bath room is dilapidated, Smoke alarm continued to peep, upon close inspection its over 24 years old. They are to be replaced every 10 years. Not 25. Also the wrong battery was used. More than likely the source of the constant peeping. TV did not function, remote control did not work and the battery cover was missing. Restaurant is under construction, yet the website does not say so. It claims its open. In room fridge smelled as well, unsure the last time it was cleaned. Overall, its disgusting. Would not recommend this stay to anyone.
