This was one of the NICEST Holiday Inn Express Hotels I have been to. I take my kids regularly to Holiday Inn Express Hotels & THIS ONE was by far the BEST one yet! It was clean, quiet, & better than I hoped! The Jacuzzi Suites are the BEST! Also the breakfast was BEAUTIFUL (so many choices), the pool was PHENOMENAL & the work out room was WONDERFUL! LoL. I had a GREAT time & experience here! I wish I lived closer than 2 hours because I'd be staying here with my kids every weekend as a getaway! Actually it's worth the drive, so I think we'll be back sooner than later.

We had booked a queen suite and when we added a second room and asked for it to be adjoining we were told we would be accommodated. Upon arrival we had been put into two queen rooms and were told there were no queen suites available. They did move us to a king suite that adjoined to a queen room on the second day.

When we got to the property, they informed us that they were overbooked and only had one room left in the hotel and still had to turn people away because they were more reservations where people hadn’t checked in yet. We reserved a double Queen Suite with a sofa bed, we needed the three beds, but the only room they had left was a room with a King bed and a sofa. When we got to the room and pulled out the sofa bed, there was two big blood stains on the mattress protector. I called down to the front desk to let them know, they did apologize. We informed them that we wouldn’t be sleeping there and she said they understood but they didn’t have any other rooms Available. They would not refund my money because she said I booked a non cancellation room on Expedia. So I told her because my room had a blood stain on the bed and they couldn’t give me another room that wasn’t my fault. As we were there another couple was coming in to check in and she told them they didn’t have any rooms available either. Then she asked them if they were going to use the sofa bed and they said no, so she told them she could give them a king room that just because available but the sofa bed was broke, pretty sure this was the room I just hav where the keys back for. We ended up driving a mile or so down the road and got another room, but I am still out the money for this room. If I was you, go down the road and don’t stay here.

I was ready to give a 5 star review because the reception I received upon arrival was great and my room was clean with an exception of a few minor areas in the bathroom.

My main complaint was the breakfast room attendant. I'm a person with a disability and went to fix my plate when the attendant offered to assist me, I kindly declined because I knew I can handle it myself. However, she walked away but continued to watch me. Came back and insisted on helping, grabbed my plate and said, if you drop this, we're going to have a problem.

Because of my encounter with her, I am leaving this review and will not plan on visiting again. I already had a procedure the day before and was not feeling very well.

Customer service and hospitality can make or break the experience. Businesses seem to struggle with the importance of patience, tact and kindness. If I can't get those things, I take my business somewhere else.

I had the room 102 with the jetted tub and the shower was dirty. The wall and floor had mold on it. I asked them to switch me to another room with the jetted tub and there wasn’t any more available so what I paid for I didn’t get. 227 was a king suite and the remote was missing and there wasn’t any face towel left in the room to wash up with.

Checked in late on Thursday night (OCT 30), as we were checking in myself and my partner noticed the breakfast sign (that we were never told about). Basically saying the fridge is broken and breakfast will be limited, I asked the girl at the front if there’s a partial refund or anything that will be applied because of this issue. We booked here because of the breakfast and we know what to expect. Was rudely told no, then she said they would have everything as normal but just limited.

Next morning, there was only bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and frozen eggs (hard as a rock). This was the rest of the weekend mornings. Only had maybe 3ish nice faces out of the whole time there (interacting with maybe 10+ employees).

Only had housecleaning go into the room 1 time out of 4 days (the bed wasn’t even made nicely just flipped back). The room was dirty to start with and we probably left it cleaner than they do.

Saw a lot of stuff under areas (leading me to believe they really don’t vacuum).

Came here for my boyfriend’s golden birthday and was a major let down of an experience (I felt horrible brining him here as we both left unhappy and angry with the experience and treatment we received). When we checked out no smile or nice face from ANYONE, left feeling more like a burden then anything.

Would never recommend this place to anyone.

It just wasn’t the best experience.

Since we weren’t diamond members (I believe that is what it was called), we couldn’t get a late check out. We needed 30 more minutes for my kids to do their online class, but we ended up leaving early anyways, because wifi wasn’t working in the building.

No towels in the pool area, we had to track those down.

I got a soda out of the pop machine and it was expired in 2024. They did refund me the money, but I didn’t try to get anything else because I didn’t want to run into that problem again.

Are stay was not the best. We had to literally lean against the doors to get them to open very difficult. The bathroom was the same way. The soap was completely empty in the shower also was very inconvenient. We had sewer issues in our room. The second floor smelled like a sewer. We had mold and water leaking in the window. We had to use excessive force to open and close the door to our room because the floor was buckling underneath the door. We were unable to even use the second lock on the door because the door was so out of whack. I was moved to a different room as a result. But we immediately checked out of the hotel early because the hotel lost power. It was a terrible experience and I’m expecting a refund.

Booked this hotel specifically because it could accommodate us and 5 kids and had a pool only to find out the pool was down and wasn’t informed at check in found out because of a paper in the elevator. Ladies at front desk at night were wonderful though. First room was dirty and smelled bad had to be moved to a new room which was much better! Next day power was out for a couple hours. House keepers were very kind, breakfast was good overall it wasn’t a horrible experience but could have been better for the amount we paid to stay.

Breakfast was available however multiple staff members helping themselves to breakfast and congregating around area during meal hours on 2 of the days. Found them to be rude, unwilling to fill pancake mix even though meal time was still going. Coffee creamer spoiled. They turned off lights as to close up the area while a couple of families were still eating. Staff starting sweeping floor next to tables while we were eating. Pool closed. I would chose another place next time I visit the area.

Place needed restoration, at least in the room. Wallpaper ripped, carpet smelled and had holes/rips, bathroom ceiling had water stains or steam spots. It just looked worn and smelled moldy/not fresh. Towels and bedding were clean, but not a pleasant room. (Entry and lobby were more modern, breakfast was fine.)
