Expedia lists these rooms as smoking v
Non smoking, but the main Baymont site does not make that distinction. Our room smelled of old cigarette smoke. The odor came home with me on/in my cpap machine. I plugged back in at home and smelled the stale cigarette odor immediately. Thankfully I had new parts at home I could swap out.

Expedia also lists as accessible v mobility accessible but our room would not have qualified as accessible bc the door to the bathroom was more narrow than a standard size. A walker or wheelchair would not have been able to get into the bathroom or turn around in the space in front of the toilet between the wall and bathtub. I am a larger bodied human and had to turn sideways to walk through the bathroom doorway.

I booked a king bed through Expedia, and received a single queen bed room.

Definitely overdue for some upgrades, had an odor upon entry, when I needed towels there was no one available to bring fresh ones and I had to bring the dirty towels to the front desk myself to get new ones. It’s overpriced for what you actually get. And neither of the tvs worked properly.

Property needs to update carpets and hot tubs. The building could use a good power washing especially on the balcony areas going around the property. But overall still a good place to stay. I just like that they have hot tubs suites mainly.

The place was extremely run down. This is the most motel like hotel I’ve ever been to. There is no amenity even the breakfast that’s promised as the options are terrible. We got the hot tub room and didn’t want to even use the hot tub because there was a ring around it of dirt. It was gross in there. I don’t recommed this place at all.

Their pictures greatly misrepresents the property. Extremely run down. We showed up on a Saturday and just about got high from all the pot smell, inside and out. Dark, dingy, cracks in walls not properly repaired, furniture that’s worn out with a chunk of wood missing, stains on lamp shades…how do you get stains on lamp shades? Microwave dirty. Refrigerator made obnoxious noise so I unplugged it. The bed wasn’t bad. The people there are friendly. They should just knock it down and start again.

On check-in, the lobby smelled strongly of marijuana smoke. When I went upstairs to my room, the 3rd floor hallway smelled as if someone had just been smoking there, despite posted signs that proclaimed the hotel is a non-smoking facility.
As I checked in after 10 pm, I did not bother to go back down to the front desk to inform them that the bathroom floor was dirty (visible dirt and debris) or that the tub had scum in it. The room phone did not work, so it was impossible to call them.
When I returned the next evening, after having been gone all day, the trash had not been emptied, towels had not been picked up, and the bathroom was still dirty. The lobby still reeked of marijuana smoke, and the upstairs hallway still smelled of cigarettes.
I checked out early and went somewhere else. I cannot recommend this facility. It is nasty.

The hotel itself was fine. Staff pleasant. However there was a melee in the hallway for about 6 hours. Kids running, screaming, slamming doors. I callwd the desk about 1am and nothing. Another guest even tried talking to the kids to quiet them down. Apparently they were left by their parents alone. The bed was also worn out. Very mushy. It was about impossible to turn over. Overall ok stay doubt I'd book again since they don't investigate excessive noise.

This hotel is greatly in need of updates. Our desk chair looked like the arm rests had pieces that had been chewed off, the towels were worn and very thin, there were multiple dead bugs on the walls of the room when we checked in, the place in general wasn’t kept up well and did not look like the pictures online, and a woman was walking right outside our window at 3 am that was dressed like an escort. I did not feel safe at this hotel and felt it was not worth the money I had spent for the night. On a positive, the shower pressure was good and the bed was comfortable.

When we arrived our first night the clerk was rude the room was ok beds were terrible . Our FIVE nights there we were overwhelmed by Marijuana smoke in our rooms halls everywhere! We stayed at this hotel because it advertised a pool when we got there they posted a sign closed for season in mid August? The pool was littered with trash and water was green. We asked clerk if we get a discount he said no. When we travel we have always stayed in a wyndham hotel and this was awful and we will be choosing a new chain.

The room was dirty, the blankets had stains. Cigarette ashes were on the toilet paper holder. The chair to sit on had what looked like “human stains” all over it. Room service didn’t show up so I had to track someone down for towels and toilet paper. The pool was gross with leaves floating in top. Breakfast was supposed to be included but was only available one day of my stay. 2nd floor smelled like something was rotting. Staff was not friendly and acted inconvenienced when asked for help.

I would not recommend staying here. The entire room smelled heavily of smoke the moment we walked in, and it never went away during our stay. On top of that, after sleeping there we woke up with rashes all over our bodies, which was very concerning and uncomfortable. This was an extremely unpleasant experience, and I would suggest avoiding this place.

I would NOT recommend this hotel. It was the worse experience I have had. I travel often nationally and internationally. Photos on website were misleading. I couldn't wait to leave. It advertised breakfast and was not available. Upon check in we were told breakfast was available from 6:30-9:30 daily. The second morning they said the time had changed to 6:00-8:00! We were not informed of this change. The third morning they said that breakfast was not available. They made NO attempt to be accommodating or offer restitution.
Another issue was poor cleanliness, no cleaning of the room/taking garbage out/smelled of smoking, clean towels, mattress was grossly stained with yellow stains; hallways smelled of rotten garbage/vomit. Staff was unfriendly and attire was unclean. When approached, they seemed to be bothered. I would not advertise this hotel on your website.
I think I deserve a refund!

Review of stay 6/20-6/23

This property needs to be refurbished, or is on its way for doing so. The bathroom had patch areas from being re-spackled and had not yet been painted. The shower curtain had a few rips in it. The tub had old safety strips that absolutely need replaced. The bathroom color choice?….wow, couldn't have been more offensive. Mustard brown and the harsh lighting made it all the worse! Several of the floor moulding tiles had been chipped. Very poor!
The only reason I rated the room as ok was because the king bed was very comfortable!! It provided a restful night.
For a couple spending more than a few nights in this room, there was far too little drawer space!
I realize the breakfast is “free”, of course, it isn’t…there was no decaf coffee available. On the morning I was downstairs, there were several of us that only drank decaf. Had to go to the McDonalds across the street for decaf.
Breakfast was barely adequate. Scramble eggs had a decided aftertaste…not appealing!
Had to go to the front desk three time to have entry card keys re-programmed. Most of the front desk staff was very nice and helpful . When we asked the gentleman that works night to re-program our key cards, never said one word and we obviously disturbed him….
Overall…..I’m quite certain I will not stay with Baymont again!

It was nasty and disgusting, fifth all in the elevator, they had no hand washing soap in the bathroom downstairs fiber breakfast serving room smh so he asked him to put some soap in the bathroom and they did. they put me in Room 122 which was disgusting and it smelled as if somebody was smoking and drinking in there and I told them I don't smoke or drink. The customer service was awful, all of the women were rude and nasty, instead of them wanting to move me from room 122 which I suggest nobody ever gets, they wanted to give me my money back because the manager the clerk was on the phone with said all the rooms were the same, which is not true! smh, so I told the lady I traveled too far for this and she decided to let me look at room 302 and I liked it much better then 122. There was stains on the wall in 122, crumbs on the floor and you could barely fit in the bathroom if you're plus size and I'm a full figure woman smh. the breakfast food is terrible and it's just overall a nasty dark atmosphere with rude people working for them but I must say the housekeepers were very sweet. Oh and I forgot to mention the pool was broke, they got attitudes when you asked for washcloths and dry towels even when you were returning your Old Ones... I will never go back there again and I suggest nobody else does either. I strongly advise no one to ever go to that place because it's disgusting and nasty.

Stayed there for 3 nights and not once our room was cleaned. We saw the cleaners in the morning before we left to go out one day but it seems they skipped our room. I wish there was more communication from their part. Our door didn’t have the “don’t disturb” sign.
