of lovely Cannobio.

Very nice hotel at a superb location. Rooms vary in size and getting one with lake view makes the experience fulfilled. Breakfast is amazing and the restaurant, with separate seating next to the lake, is also very good Italian cuisine. Service varies depending on who sits at the counter but most are very kind and speaks several languages.
Only minus to be aware of is that cars cannot park close to the hotel so a remote parking is required and not serviced by the hotel.
Plan to come back again....

Charming Lakeside Hotel

This hotel has been here for a very long time and has retained the grandeur of old times still, but with modern amenities. We had a lake view room, which was a corner room at the side of the hotel, providing a view over the piazza and shops along the lakefront. Room had plenty of space for bags etc. Two twin beds pushed together. Very modern and spacious bathroom too. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was an extra E20 each per day, so we opted for local cafes, of which there were many that offered continental breakfasts. Many restaurants nearby, but best to just have a drink at the lakeside ones and eat more economically just behind in the old town. Sunday clothes market was huge! Need to be aware, that only limited ferry service at Cannobio and the rapido service down to Stress is the best to reduce the time from 2 to one hour. Cannobio easiest to access by ferry, but can get buses x 2 from Locarno.

exactly what we expected, superb!\n

Although our 4 day stay we were treated as honoured guests. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff, although professional,were kind and friendly. The hotel had two outdoor dining options, one being more formal and expensive the other had more of a brasserie feel to it. The breakfast was fabulous with everything you could possibly want, even sparkling wine.

Cannobio: im doppelten Sinne ein Traum!

Sehr schönes Hotel in einer Umgebung, die keine Wünsche offen liess. Lage am See (mit Bademöglichkeit in der Nähe) und Service waren perfekt. Das Frühstück, das bei herrlichem Wetter vor dem Hotel eingenommen werden konnte, war vielseitig und sehr lecker. Extrawünsche wurden sofort erfüllt. Im nächsten Jahr kommen wir gern wieder, werden uns dann aber um ein Zimmer bemühen, das nicht im ausgebauten Dachgeschoss liegt. Unser Zimmer war zwar sehr geräumig, aber eher nüchtern eingerichtet und auch etwas dunkel. Lediglich zwei kleine Gauben (davon eine im Bad) ermöglichten einen Blick auf den See.

hier kom ik zeker terug

Door ernstige familiaire problemen moest ik mijn vakantie hier na 1 dag afbreken. Echt een super hotel, komen met de auto op het plein aan en worden geholpen bij uitladen en men rijd de auto voor je weg. (Wordt ook weer elke keer terug gebracht indien gewenst) wij hadden een junior suite met bad en balkon. keken direct op het lago maggiore uit. kamer super mooi. Ontbijt geweldig, wat een mooi hotel, je wordt als koning bediend. In de nacht nog een glas aperoll spritz voor mijn vrouw gemaakt

Het hotel was gesitueerd aan de boulevard waar het in de avond autovrij is. Mooi uitzicht over het lago maggiori. Heel veel gezellige Restaurants op loopafstand. Ruime kamers met schone badkamer. Goed en ruim gesorteerd ontbijtbuffet.
Jammer (door het weer) dat we niet gebruik konden maken van het diner op het terras.

Die Lage ist super...direkt am See..und Dank der guten Fenster hörte man von draußen gar nichts .
Ein großes Manko ist die Klimaanlage, die sich nicht runter regulieren ließ. Wir hatten immer 24° im Zimmer bei über 30° Außentemperatur. Das geht gar nicht in einem 4 Sterne Hotel für diesen pteis

Das erste mal in der Villa Anna von Hotel Cannobio. Wurden sehr herzlich empfangen
und begrüsst. Das Frühstück war einmalig. Danach mussten wir leider nach einer Uebernachtung wieder die Heimreise an treten. Wir werden sicher gerne wieder kommen, und empfehlen das Hotel Cannobio gerne weiter.

Top Lage und tadelloses Hotel

Die Lage ist einfach top und wenn man dann noch ein Zimmer mit Seesicht hat, ist das Glück perfekt. Die Einrichtung ist etwas altmodisch, aber das passt in dieses alte Herrenhaus. An der Reception waren sie sehr unkompliziert und äusserst freundlich.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Der Check-In war schnell und zuvorkommend, der Parkservice war sehr bequem und pünktlich. Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, jedoch gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber.
Das Frühstücksangebot war sehr reichhaltig und von sehr guter Qualität.

Sehr gepflegtes Haus, nettes aufmerksames Personal und ganz hervorragendes vielseitiges Frühstück. Das Auto wurde - da dauerhaftes parkieren vor dem Haus nicht gestattet ist - durch das Hotel in einer Tiefgarage parkiert und wieder geliefert. Schade, dass es kein Aufenthaltsraum gibt.
