Good hotel!

Nice location, 5-10 minutes walk to the city center and to the nearest beach. Had an apartment with a small yard. Included grill, there is a supermarket close by, so we had a great barbeque in the evening.

Only adequate - not luxury

Cons: This apartment was adequate only, but definitely not a luxury suite as described. It is a basement. The furniture and equipment is basic, tired and worn as is the decor. Poor patched-up repairs have been carried out. The bedroom and bathroom are to the rear of the living room/kitchen and have no windows.
Pros: There is plenty of hot water. The room was cleaned every other day and the sheets and towels changed. Additional equipment is available at no charge.

Room dark.. Shower head fell off and towel rail broke..Ok for students.. Some English TV.. Quite spacious our room but meant to get room with outdoor space.. our apartment had no natural light.. Smoking area by reception very hot.

Enjoyable Stay

Last minute holiday changes forced me to spend two nights in two different hotels in the same area. Having spent the prior night at a substandard hotel (location, value, amenities), I found my stay at Rich Luxury Suites \"refreshing\". First, the location is great. The neighborhood is in a good area and is about 2 kilometers (1 mile) from town. My apartment had a bedroom and a living room, so basically two sleeping areas. It could have been three if you count the outdoor couch that was in the \"backyard\". There was no bedding for the indoor couch, so I simply moved the outdoor twin mattress, already made up with a bedsheet, inside. There was only one person manning the office and since I got there two hours early, I had to wait about 30 minutes. However, they let me have the room before the 3PM checkin. I did have a water leak in the kitchen about 30 minutes after checking in, but it was handled right away. Rich Luxury Suites earned a solid 4 for location, staff, and value. The downside was no bedding for the couch so I improvised which forces a 2-3 for amenities. Overall I give it a 4.

Small (but clean) room with spacious bathroom. Good working Wifi connection, nice kitchenette. Not far from beach or Eilat center. Located in quiet residential area. Grocery shop nearby. For this price in expensive Eilat it was great choice.

Not a well maintained hotel at all. Rooms are of poor quality. Lack of windows and light. The room that we had on the first floor felt like a bomb shelter due to lack of light and a tiny window. You get what you pay for with this hotel. If you are looking for a cheap hotel and aren't concerned with cleanliness , then this is fine. If you want a top notch hotel, then stay away. Loved Eilat but hated this hotel.

Worst accommodation ever...

We had a horrible room, it stinks. During our stay the room got flooded in the middle of the night we tried to call them no one was available to help us. They send a cleaner at 9 am, by that time all our clothes and belongings are destroyed. We asked the owner if he can accommodate us in a different room, he was super rode and unpleasant to me because he had a gender issues I guess. We never experienced such a bad accommodation in our life. We are world travelers and they don't have any sympathy for the kids .. my kids were sick after staying in a horrible accommodation. Please don't believe on the pictures they have for the rooms.. they are total fraud.

Great Value in Eilat

This is the second time we've stayed (during the Eilat Jazz Festival). Room was clean, quite, comfortable and spacious, just as it was last year. We also like the outdoor patio space, which is enjoyable in the morning and evening when it's not too hot.

Nice location. Horrible shades dont block light at all: 5am and it is super light in the room. Bad mattress and pillows, linens too small for the beds. Only spoke with staff on the phone, due to a very short stay. Nice people! Air conditioner makes a very high noise (of course also during the night!).

the room was not nearly as nice as pictured. My daughter went to take a shower and the door fell off the hinges and shattered. I called the front desk to get somebody to clean up the bathroom floor which was covered in broken glass. It took forever for somebody to come, and I was made to feel that I was being too demanding despite the fact that there was glass all over and my daughter was bleeding (not seriously). when somebody did arrive, they came with some paper towels and nothing else! On top of that, they refused to give me another room.

It is not a hotel

1st thing you need to realize is that this is not a hotel. Rather it's few rental studios. Nice and smiling staff but poor quality place. Paper-thin bedding, pillows, towels. Broken bed. Mold.

Inexpensive place to stay in Eilat

Room was spacious with two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. We were only there for two nights so did not receive service while there. There is a grocery store a block away so it's easy to pick up stuff for breakfast, although the kitchenette only has a microwave and fridge. Also no dining table, so we ate sitting around the coffee table. The more commercial part of the beach is a 10-15 minute walk away, but you probably want to drive to the Oceanarium or coral beach area. There is street parking in front of the hotel. To get to our room we had to walk by a bank of A/C compressors next to the hotel office - maybe it's not so bad when it's not 45 degrees C out.

Not just a \"room\"

First off, the owner was exceptional. The hotel was a little off the beaten path, but still within minutes of the beach and restaraunts. There is also a grocery store two blocks away. The room, or apartment (which it was), had a living room, kitchen and bath, all newly renovated in a modern decor. There was also a private patio with grill and furniture. The place was very secure and I would definitely return. Awesome.

Perfect for Dead Sea and Petra

Great pre-stay communication; we couldn't get in before reception closed & we asked for a hair dryer to be put in the room. The hotel is very convenient,key was right where we were told, room was easy to get in to, hair dryer was on table. The towels were soft & thick, room was clean and spacious, WiFi was strong, shower was huge! We'd love to go back and stay longer!

Easy apartment close to beach

This was an easy apartment to access and get into, within walking distance (10-15min) from much to see and do. However, as many places in Eilat thy advertise better than they deliver. I booked two rooms. One was great (basically what you see online) and the other was clearly a step down, very basic. It was fine for us as we were not in much. However it was clean, quiet and convenient. The management was friendly, but not helpful...more like too busy and not able to communicate in English very well. I would stay here again, but push for what was promised or advertised.

Very good value, with some slight shortcomings

I stayed in a \"Luxury Suite, Terrace\" (Room 4). It provides excellent value - as per the photos, including a very nice walk-in shower. Some slight problemettes, however: 1) wi-fi in the room very flaky; one needs to walk round to the reception area for a decent signal.
2) my terrace always had a cat sitting on one of the chairs. There are a lot of cats in the area.
3) the duvet cover was extremely thin. On the other hand, there is air conditioning/room heating.
As against all that, the terrace apartments are very pleasant for the price paid.
Location: 800m walk from the beach.

The staff was very nice and helpful, but mainly available on call. The room was big and clean, with a panoramic view on the Red Sea. The building has no elevator. The city center is at 15 minutes walk, but there is a very close supermarket.

We stayed with our two kids for two night. Overall the place was small but nice. Service was reasonable but we had a leak in the AC and at midnight they could not provide help for that. This was pretty bad because the the AC leaked all over the sheets and we had to improvise beddings for the kids.

Very good experience, much better then I expected.
We felt that we got our moneys worth and were very satisfied.

The names of the rooms are a little confusing but we booked the Garden view room and got a room with its own little semi private garden that had synthetic grass, a table and chairs and a tanning bed. We were able to smoke and make a BBQ in our garden which worked out very well for us.

The suite was also very comfortable and clean and included a separate living room, bedroom and bathroom. additionally everything was more luxurious then we expected from the pictures and we were pleasantly surprised.

The only negative things I can say is:
A. The sofa bed in the living room was a little flimsy.
B. They don't provide Shampoo which is a shame since they provide everything else.

Don't get your hopes up by looking at the pictures

We stayed here overnight and got up early for a tour to Petra the next day. We just needed basic accommodations for the night. This hotel was OK for that, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are coming to Elat on vacation. It is far from the beach and its really in a residential area away from everything. No soap or shampoo provided in the bathroom, so bring your own.

This is really not a hotel; it's part of a condominium complex, and they are renting out some on a nightly basis as a hotel. We heard a barking dog on the floor above us until about 2 am; the owners apparently left the dog alone and didn't care if would bark all night. There was no one at the front desk to complain to because they are only there at check-in.

Overall, not a terrible experience. If you are just looking for place to sleep and leave the next morning, this would be OK. If you are planning a vacation with your family, find a better place.

We knew going into this stay that the place was no luxury hotel. It was an apartment and it was the only place a family of four could stay without renting two rooms. That said, you get what you pay for. The rooms were mostly clean, although our bedroom had ants near the balcony door. Since they mostly stayed there, it wasn't an issue. We got upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, which was nice because my sons didn't have to sleep on the sofa bed. Unfortunately, I couldn't sleep at night because there was so much noise outside my window where there were people BBQing and talking loudly and laughing through most of the night. To be fair, when I notified the manager, he said he'd talk to them and try to get them to be more quiet, and the second night, that helped a bit, but I still heard them even though our balcony door was closed and I was wearing earplugs. I loved the shower, which had awesome water pressure and was nice and hot, but the place does not provide any toiletries so you must bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and bath wash/soap. They do have a kitchenette, which was useful because we took advantage of the grocery store around the corner to buy some staples like milk and yogurt for breakfast and saved ourselves having to go out to eat. The location was great, but we had a car and for people who don't, the walk to the center of town or to the beaches might be a little much. I wasn't too happy that when I asked for extra towels, I had to justify my request.

This is not a hotel but apartments

The owners explained that this is not hotel but apartments using as a hotel. So, staffes are not always staying in the building, and sometimes they are indeed away from their office. Also, I had to do some things by myself. But, everythis was going well in my stay. The difference was not problem at all. The owners are really kind, and the room I stayed was very clean and new, and the design was modern. The location is ten-min walk to the north beach and close to some stores and a supermarket.

I am a New Yorker. This place was a dive. Management did not change the sheets before my arrival and the room still had the stench of feces in it from the prior occupant. The bathroom window was opened. This is not a hotel simply a room rental with a bathroom. Stay away. The bathroom was tiny and absolutely disgusting. They should have paid me to stay there. And it looked nothing like the pictures.

I understand the concept of self service apartments but to be honest was underwhelmed with the apartments. The information on how to access the apartments came late via email that we didn't have access to , the front door locks were confusing and hard to open or lock and there was no cool water in the fridge for when we finally made it in to the apartment. (it was 40 degrees outside). For the money we paid i expected more and wouldn't stay again there is far better places to stay for less nearby. The closest obvious restaurant was more than a 20 min walk away and was not ideal. Good concept not executed well and in the wrong location.

Just right for our trip

We stayed for two nights so that we could do a day trip into Jordan to see Petra. It was a 3-person suite with a double-bed bedroom and pull out sofa. The sofa was not easy to set up and not the best, but no real complaint. The suite had an outdoor sitting area which was really quite nice. The location is not very close to the city center so walking to beach, restaurants, sights was not an option. Luckily we had a car (parking was free and easy at the hotel (but not in town)). Other reviewers have said that it was hard to find the hotel. They must not be too observant. We thought it was simple. Others have complained about the staff at reception. We had a very positive experience.

Keep in mind that this isn't a hotel, it's an apartment/suits complex, so no fancy lobby/pool/dining room... If you don't care about that and all you need is a place to stay - rooms are great, spacious, clean and nicely styled. A room like that in a proper hotel will cost you 3 times what you'll pay here, so I think it's an excellent value for money.

The girl at the desk was screaming back and forth with an unsatisfied customer when I arrived...not sure who was the agressor, but it was unprofessional, unpleasant and uncomfortable having to stand there waiting to get keys. Great value for Eilat. Convenient that hotel had small kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Other kitchen supplies offered upon request. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. There was a neighborhood supermarket very close by for groceries.
Hotel is not located in tourist area. Beach is walking distance but it's not 10 minutes like the locals claim. We had a car so it was easy to get around to tourist attractions.

Loved it...Staff was great. This is NOT a $500 a night hotel...but it is very fine for what it is...Near everything, great staff. I am returning in July and I plan to stay there again. The two women who worked in the office were a real treat...very helpful in every way.

This hotel is run by native russians. They are very cheep in everything. The beds are terrible. The sheets are self sown. They didn't even have ables or a place to put your clothing or makeup. Like I said, VERY CHEEP. Would not stay here again.

Luxury? I think not!

We were staying overnight, because of our tour of Petra in Jordan. Our first challenge was finding the place. The directions given to us appeared to have been Google translated from Russian and were ineffective at best. After we finally found the place we had to get our key from the lock box, as the office is closed after 9 pm. We were greeted by a clowder of cats, a few of which were not friendly. The place smelled of them which was revolting. The suite was basic. The only modern device was the television which was never used. The beds were cheap and uncomfortable. To the end of our days we will laugh at the name of this place. Those who gave this place 4 or 5 stars are either shilling for the owner or had very low expectations. We found the place repugnant. When we left, the office wasn't open, so we returned the key to the lock box. I will give the place 2 stars because we were able to park our rental car in front of the place while were away on our tour.

An overall good value.

We stayed there before taking a tour to Petra, Jordan and on our return. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is a small apt. and it was good to have a few things in the fridge for morning breakfast. It is not fully equipped for much cooking but that was not important. There was enough cutlery for two and glasses and a couple of plates. It allowed us to be ready for a 6:20 pick-up from the tour service and was much less expensive than the big hotels. We left our car at the suites hotel while away in Jordan for 2 days without incident.

We stayed in this hotel just couple weeks ago, and we are so happy we found it. Actually it is more of \"rent an apartment\" kind than a traditional hotel, and this is exactly what we liked about it! We were arriving late (after 9pm) and they were very helpful about it (thank you, Lyuba!). Very clean, close to everything. My only concern is, they offer tours but you have to call somebody to make a reservations and with me paying $2.50 a minute it was easier just to walk to the nearest hotel and buy all the tours we wanted. Besides that - excellent! Will defiantly stay there again and recommend it to our friends.i

Didnt see staff during my stay, not what i spected

Lest the keys in a sagebox, and ask to leave them on my way out. Never saw anybody from the staff, everyhing in the hotel seemed closed, the room was ok, quite big but the bathroom was really small.

I thought the facility was really nice. I was not able to leave my luggage because there was no full time staff, but the apartment was REALLY nice. Everything else was really convenient. I would stay there again.

Fine for what it is

This is an inexpensive place mainly aimed at beach vacationers. It is a short walk down to the beach, and the nearby grocery store was useful even for just an overnight stay. We were told that our room was on the other side of the hotel from a group of young (college-age?) clients, but we nevertheless heard quite a bit of noise around 3am. The room satisfied our main needs, though: an inexpensive, clean place to stay while passing through.

Nice new apartments with a small kitchen. Difficult to find as the house numbers are mixed up. Common area not nice due to AC units generating heat inside the area.

Would stay again to save money....

This place is not really a hotel, but more like an apartment rental. You have to schedule your check-in because there is no one consistently working in the office. Also, if you have a question or need to speak with someone, you must call and wait for someone to arrive to address your concern. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom room and it was clean and comfortable. It is roughly a 10 minute walk to the beach and promenade.

Given the price, it was a great place to stay for us. The room was small but very clean, and the a/c worked well (important in Eilat, which can get very hot).The hotel has a deal with the Ginger restaurant for a free dessert with a full meal, which we ended up using, and which we enjoyed very much. Two things we were not thrilled about: the lobby was very cluttered and full of some debris, which we did not see getting cleaned up. Also, if you want to check in after hours, there is nobody on duty. They will make it possible to check in, but it is much less convenient. Overall, though, we were very satisfied, especially given the price.

Spoiled time in Eilat

This place operates differently than a hotel, it is an apartment complex, where guests called \"clients\". Check-in time listed on Expedia and in their e-mails is 15 to 21; however, the accommodation is done by appointment which i consider absurd when dealing with travelers. They e-mailed me asking for arrival time, but they did not mention that i had to be on time, otherwise, the place would be locked. This is what happened - Rich Luxury welcomed me to Eilat with closed doors when i arrived earlier than i indicated in my e-mail. Besides, there is no front desk and no person available 24/7 which i always rely on when traveling. This was totally wrong place for me, and it is very unfortunate that i booked it based on information that is simply not accurate.

The hotels in Eilat are expensive,and you have plenty to spend I would probably pick one of them,but this hotel is much less expensive,clean,in good repair,close to the beach and for me it made my week stay in Eilat possible.

Some better options for just a few more bucks

This was my first time in Eilat so I kind of booked at random. I would say that there are many more options for a better price like Astral. This is more like an apartment complex, kind of hidden. It took me forever to find it and when I tried calling the place for instructions there was nobody. Looks like the person in charge is there only sporadically or as needed, so that is very inconvenient. The place is in great shape but the pics about the yard are not accurate. The sheet of rules and responsibilities kind of scared me. Again, there are more hotels for the same or better price and in a more central area unlike this one.

helpful management, lovely room

Big thanks to the management of RLS for their assistance during our stay. My husband had a foot injury and they went out of their way to organize transport and other assistance for us. They manage a lovely property a little outside the main centre of Eilat that means the rooms are quiet plus its a sorry walk or taxi ride to the beach. Will stay again. Best wishes.

Small apartment hotel for family

Dilapilated outside but surprisingly very clean and comfortable inside. Comfortable futon for two children in living room but futon small for two teens. Luckily they had a chair futon as well. Close to supermarket and 5-10 min walk to restaurants an beach. Free parking on street that is under a surveillance camera . Not luxurious but comfy and clean and good base for a family of four. Is really a small apartment rather then a hotel room

very nice management

the rooms are small unlike on the pictures that make it look biger. However, the rooms are very clean and the Management are super friendly and make you feel very welcome.

This hotel has no restaurant but is very well located to make places to eat, shop and have fun, plus it is located in a very peaceful area. Therefore, if you are looking for a clean place just to sleep and rest this is very good place to stay and not too expensive

Rich Luxury Suites - Select room Carefully

The first time we stayed we were very impressed by the room & incredible value for money. The second time we stayed we were put in a much smaller room - calling it a suite was very misleading & god help you if you actually wanted to cook something. So overall, a good experience but be ready for a tiny room unless you specify a larger one!
