What should have been a special, long-overdue break turned into a complete disaster.
My wife and I were evacuated in the middle of the night due to a gas leak—a genuinely frightening experience. We were abruptly forced out of the hotel with no proper reassurance or handling of the situation, which alone is unacceptable.
We were offered “alternative accommodation,” but it did not have the same facilities or standard as what we had paid for. Given the circumstances and the time of night, we chose to make our own way home instead.
This was our first time away since having our son, and the trip was completely ruined.
To make matters worse, the hotel has refused any refund or compensation, despite the stay being cut short due to a serious safety issue entirely outside of our control. That response speaks volumes about how they treat their guests when something goes wrong.
Safety concerns, a ruined stay, and zero accountability. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value basic duty of care and customer service.
