Negativo: La habitación no está bien cuidada, el asiento del baño estaba salido y descascarado, las lámparas estaban sueltas y no encendían con facilidad. Dejaron solo un rollo de papel sanitario. Al día siguiente, al regresar del paseo en la noche, no habían limpiado la habitación, y se había acabado el papel, bajé a recepción por más.

Positivo: El personal del front desk es amable; tambien nos dejaron guardar nuestras pertenencias en lo que se pasaba el tiempo para el ingreso a la hora reglamentaria; el buffet de desayuno de cortesía es sencillo pero bueno y limpio. El restaurante del hotel tiene precios económicos y la comida es rica. La atención en el restaurante es muy buena. Es un hotel totalmente familiar.

A decent hotel.

The hotel is nice enough, the restaurant was good too with a decent range and reasonably priced. The pool area was in good condition and enjoyable and the staff friendly and helpful, though not scared of asking for a tip. Only real gripe is the airconditioner sounded like a jet engine.

Location close enough to Puerto Iguazu to make short trips and easy to get to the cataratas. Good organized to help to get whatever one needs.
Swimming pool is excellent. The restaurant could be a reason in itself to stay in this hotel. Very, very nice dishes of local fish!!! And one can get a very nice meal at any time of the day. Wifi everywhere, also at the swimming pool.
The air conditioning, rather loud and noisy, should be updated though.

Very nice hotel close to Cataratas de Iguazu at good price and with good conditions and an excellent restaurant in place. Breakfast buffet is very good with wide offer. Esteban is an excellent service person in the restaurant and all the staff is very friendly and took a lot of care to us. I strongly recommend this hotel for visitors to Cataratas. Thanks

Incredible value, great location !

For the price, this place is an incredible value at a fantastic location. It is a bit like Hacienda style hotel, with a full service restaurant and bar that are open late. It also has a swimming pool. The staff is friendly and speak English. The Hotel is located about 5 minutes from the border to Brazil and from the Argentinian side of the waterfalls. It is a bit older with a wall AC unit, my room had a large walk in shower. I stayed here jan 4th, 2017. I can definitely recommend it.

The rooms are well priced for the area. The pool is great on those hot Iguazu days. You are not far from the falls and can easily catch a bus, although a bit far from town to walk in to the supermarket. Staff is very nice.

Way too expensive for such a basic hotel

The front office guy was nice and the morning restaurant waitress was too. Mostly, I can say it was clean but two travelers checking in at the same time who we talked to left because of insufficient cleanliness. Our room was clean, but the bed was uncomfortable, pillows were worn out, no bath mat was provided, and the fan has two speeds: tornado and off. And the windows had gaps when closed, so there was no real full closure, meaning you could hear people outside. The location is not only outside the center, but there is nothing within reasonable walking distance like a tienda or restaurant. So a 160 peso ($11) round trip taxi ride to and from the center is required if you don't eat at this hotel's on-site restaurant, which provides edible food, but isn't really \"good.\" So I would summarize by saying that compared to the other Argentina hotels we visited all around the country, mostly similarly expensive touristy areas, this is overpriced at $65 USD. I'd be less dissatisfied with this hotel at $40 or less, because we had much better quality lodging in other place for $39, but this hotel was less nice in comparison, so I'd say the low $30s to $40 max would be the right price for this hotel. Next time I'm in Iguazu, I'll look elsewhere.

Very cold with terrible reception staff

The website advertised the reception staff spoke English. This was the main reason I booked having struggled with my Spanish in the last few places I stayed. When I arrived to check in the receptionist spoke no English, was very slow and seemed to struggle as two of us arrived at the same time. Later I asked the receptionist to book the airport shuttle for me, he keep new nothing of the airport shuttle, did not think it was part of this role to make the call even once I handed him the number. He was rude and unhelpful. I have encountered my staff in South America who were happy to muddle through the language barrier using apps and actions, this man was not.
When I eventually got into my room after a long journey, I jumped in to a Luke warm shower that never heated up and only produced a drizzle. On stepping out of the shower I discovered no towels. I asked for one reception where they were rude and non challant. My room was cold with an air con that made noise all night but appeared to have no other function and could not be turned off.

The unpaved driveway is unwelcoming. The dingy furnitures in the lobby is discouraging. Dark hallway made us feel a little bit insecure. Lack of any help to take your baggage to the room with no elevators made us feel uncared.

The happiness you get while checking out is unparalleled.

This is a budget hotel and even the Hotels.com rate seems a bit too much.
That said, the room was clean (I didn't see one bug in the room, and there were plenty out there) and the bed was very comfortable. AC was silent enough and worked perfectly both to cool and heat the room. Breakfast was passable, and also inconsistent: one morning there was fresh squeezed OJ, and the next they served some sort of orange-tasting Kool Aid! yuk. I told this to one of the girls at reception, and she acknowledged, saying that they always get the same comment from guests.
I had to wait over 12 hours to get a hold of a hair dryer, and when they finally gave me one, it literally started to MELT as soon as I plugged it - scary. Needless to say, I had to walk out with my hair still damp. I was told they were short of hair dryers because guests sometimes stole them.
This and the other hotels on the same area are far from the town and the only way to get in or out is by taxi (high-speed road, no actual sidewalks), but that's OK if you're hiring a packaged tour to pick you up and take you everywhere.

False advertisement, run-down rooms. Stay away!

This hotel was the worst experience in our trip across Argentina! The hotel lists an airport shuttle among its amenities, but it actually does NOT have it. The frontdesk staff barely spoke (or pretended to not understand) English on the phone, so we ended up paying for transportation.
Upon arrival, the manager continued to insist that listing a shuttle among hotel amenities does not obligate them to operate or to provide one. He became very agitated, and retaliated by giving us a dorm room in the hostel wing instead of a normal hotel room. It had a row of 5 narrow beds with stained sheets, and the toilet with marks of someone's recent diarrhea. At that point, my wife broke down in tears.
We did get a room with one large bed, but the bed sheets were so thin that you could clearly see the patterns on the mattress underneath. Also, the sheets had obvious blood stains on them. For $90 per night off-season, we expected a corresponding level of service.
I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property.
Miscellany: No safe; No refrigerator or microwave. Clothes hangers are hand-made from an ugly bent wire. Tiny old TV. Rough towels. ZERO noise isolation: you can hear others as if they were inside the room. Breakfasts were scarce and plain, same selection on consecutive days. The front yard got flooded by the rain to the point when we couldn't leave hotel by foot without soaking our shoes. Far from both the waterfalls and shops and restaurants.

The hotel Stuff gave me the most impression. Hotel manager Fabian is very considerate and helpful, he speaks good English, and that helped us a lot, since we don't know any Spanish. And I even he even helped to call Experdia and another hotel to deal with some issue on a booking of next destination! The lady at front desk also very polite and always trying to be helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel, and I will come back to the same hotel if I will come back to Iguazu!

Excellent staff hospitality, communications, services, and breakfast. Plus: indoor ramps, full size swimming pool, free parking. Minus: music tracks (disco is popular with other guests) and outdated noisy rooms, especially because the windows are inevitably left opened due to the climate.

The best part about the hotel is proximity to Iguazu Falls National Park, about 16 km / 10 mi away, but there is nowhere else really walkable around the hotel proper. Puerto Iguazu is not far, but better to have a car or take a taxi - the walk would be uncomfortable since there aren't really sidewalks.

Staff service was friendly & acceptable. The included continental breakfast offering is passable, but heavy on carbohydrates. While the hotel is advertised as a 4-star lodging, it is more like 2 or 3 stars, if being generous. This felt like a youth hostel, and indeed they do have hostel operations on property. Rooms were bare bones and clean, but in need of a refresh - especially the thin bed sheets and pillows.

Hotel wi-fi is weak in the rooms & even had connectivity problems in the lobby. When wi-fi was available it was slow. The hotel does have computers hard-wired to the internet, but obviously inconvenient if you prefer to login from your room.

I might stay here again as a solo traveler because of the location and price, but would hesitate if traveling as a family or a couple, UNLESS one is very budget sensitive, in which case, this hotel will suffice.

My travel profile: I stay in hotels about 45-60 nights a year around the world, primarily in high-end chains like Hyatt and Starwood. Though I could have stayed at the Sheraton Iguazu on cash and points, since this was my second visit to the falls, I opted to save my Starwood points.

One of the worst places I have ever seen

One of the absolute worst hotels I have ever stayed in (and I have been over 49 countries and 150+ cities). The electricity failed twice for several hours within a two day period, the bath room flush did not work properly, the in room safe was broken. The staff are useless and do not even have the manners to apologize for the unmitigated disaster and inconvenience caused to guests. I paid $110 per night for a place not worth $10 per night. If this happens one more time, that'll be the end of my using Hotels.com

Really there should be a process in place for a customer refund when its this incredibly bad, I am way way beyond disgusted.

I got told by him that I needed to leave my key behind after I came back from the town centre was never told originally when I first checked in. I just felt there was a better way of telling me. Another thing to keep in mind if you stay here is that your in between the town centre and the falls. Both trips take about 15mins each way

I would barely give Marcopolo Suites a 3. The beds were clean. The towels were absolutely terrible: clean but ripped and very old. The toilet seat was in a very bad shape.The breakfast was ok. It is more of a hostel than a hotel. For the price I paid, I should have got a better quality. When I talked to the front desk, both of us were surprised to find out that expedia charged me mo than what the hotel charged, even with the official rate taken into consideration. I booked through hotels.com but they have the contract with Expedia. This is the only hotel I booked trough hotels.com where I got charged more than what the hotel charged. All in all, I do not recommend it.

Very helpful staff. Clean basic comfortable room with an English news channel. Nice patio and pool. Good breakfast (included).
The hotel accepts credit cards and US$. Come with Argentine Pasos or you will have to use money changer in town. No changer at Iguazu Airport. Only a cash machine at entrance to Iguazu Falls. You do not need a guide at the Falls. Map and internal train rides are included.

We arrived early but they accommodated us with no problems. All the staff was helpful and friendly. Nice pool and patio area, Breakfast is typical Argentine hotel breakfast, Bread, Ham and Queso Slices, coffee. English Speaking Receptionist. the rooms are large. The hotel is a ways from the city center, the cataratas and the airport, so you have to get a cab or take the buss, or both to get anywhere as the buss stops running before you might be ready to go to bed.

am absolutely amazed that Expedia would have this dump on their list of recommended places to stay in iguazu. tne hotel is a dive, room had nothing in it but 3 beds, towels were shredded, no table, no chairs, toilet was on a platform, up 3 steps, an absolute safety hazard, breakfast was acceptable, pool was nice tho how clean it was is in question. location was alright tho not that close to the park entrance. please do not list this hotel again as it is sub par, i'd say minus 3 stars.

Great trip

I stayed only one night but I would stay again just for the service alone. The rooms were ok and clean, sheets are old and smell like humidity but it wasn't anything I couldn't deal with. The location of the hotel is not near town which is a problem if you wanna walk around and eat and shop but I didn't mind it they have a perfect little bar/restaurant in the lobby and they serve dinner daily and snacks before 8pm. The bus to the falls is right across from the hotel for just AR $35 or $5 dollars and it drops you off right at the hotel again. Very convenient. Service was great! They really go out of their way to help you with everything

\"FALL'S\" hotel

The bathroom, especially the shower was nasty, the towels were permanenently stained, paper thin and coming apart. The breakfast was meager at best, a bowl full of rotten apples and I mean everyone of the dozen in the bowl were rotten, the tea water cold and the cereal milk warm (dangerous?), only part of the staff was friendly. The price for this hotel is absolutely way too high- I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

The main thing that impressed me was the staff - friendly, knowledgeable and multilingual. The only down side was the food, breakfast was just cereal and toast and the buffet which we paid extra for was bad even for 85 pesos you're better off eating in town

Family hotel near Iguazu falls

We stayed three days in two rooms. We liked the location of the hotel. It is in the Countryside, about ten blocks from the city border, so you can walk to the city. Also, it is easy to go to the Iguazu Falls. You can take a bus just crossing the street and walking fifty meters, but it was cheaper to hire a cab for several people.
The heating system was not very effective, one of the rooms was cold. We could not use the pool because those days were very cold.
Breakfast could be improved. There was not enough fruit and cereal assortment.
Internet connection was free but it was slow and was not available in one of the rooms.

I wasn't little reluctant to book this hotel based on reviews but was happy as I found it better than expected. Yes, the room smell musty coz of the weather conditions as we couldn't dry our clothes in two days but it's not hotel's fault (I guess they could use dehumidifier but remember it's a 3rd world country) 3 Pesos/10 minutes bus ride to the main city (Puerto Iguazu) and 30 Pesos/20 minutes bus ride to the falls (fixed public fare), restaurant service at dinner was the slowest ever (40 minutes to get food) and chicken entry was literally one piece of either thigh or drumstick, better go with the steak (not sure if chicken is more expensive in that region). Airport ride is 40 Pesos/pp or if you are 3, it's the same as you get the taxi but there were not many available outside the airport, you should arrange by the hotel, I guess. But we found one after 10-15 minutes wait for 120 Pesos. Breakfast was included and nice. Only, if I could get wifi signals in room, better quality bed sheets, hooks to hang clothes in bathroom, I would have given it 4 Star. Bus stops outside the hotel. It's simple driving, mainly one road, so may consider renting a car from airport. But we saw huge lines at gas stations and little rough traffic in Puerto Iguazu (city center) Guido at front desk was very helpful and spoke good English.

This is not a city center hotel

Although it is marked on the map that this hotel is located in the city center next to marcopolo inn hostel, it is NOT. This is located 5km away from the marcopolo inn hostel. The exact location is across from hotel cataratas. The location is on the main highway to Iguazu that allows you to catch a bus, but it is not as convenient as the city center.

Lousy restaurant with little variety of food. We could not choose from the menu, but only the buffet was available during our stay. The breakfast was slightly better, but staff was very slow to refill food, utensils and napkins.
It is not possible to pay with credit card.

I loved this hotel good instalations..very clean ..and very near to the falls....but best of all fernanda..the girl at the front desk gave us the 5 star treatment...she went out of her way to make us comfortable....I highly recommend this hotel..

Great hotel

The hotel is located 3 km from the city centre, but frequent local busses makes it easy to travel to the city. Very helpfull staff! Clean rooms and a beautiful pool area.

Marcopolo Iguazu

This hotel is good if you are looking for a standard motel style hotel and room, because that is exactly what it is. The rooms are old and tired, beds uncomfortable, as well as the rest of the place. But the help is awesome, They have a fine restaurant, and an awesome pool. Not sure what the hot tub shaped pool was for, because it was not hot, and did not have jets, and was too deep for a kidie pool. The hotel is also out of the town, which also can be a pain.

Better than expected

A very comfortable for a reasonmable price. The bufet breakfast was exceptionally varied in choice and service was good. NO hesitation recommending this hotel. Pool is nice too.

a weekend to see the waterfalls

The room itself was just ok, kind of dark but fine. The staff at the front desk were very helpful (they also spoke English). The breakfast room/lounge room was nice and there is free wi-fi in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was ok. There is a bus stop across the street to get a bus to the national park, coming back was a little difficult because there was no way to signal when or if we wanted to get off the bus without going to the city center bus station (not too far away, but too far to walk). The hotel is between the city center and the national park, there is really nothing around the hotel so you'll need a taxi to get to/from the town.

Nice swimming pool and terrace. Good complementary breakfast. Staff is OK.

but

Too far from the city centre. I had to move to another room as they were cockroaches in my room, sorry. The jungle is nearby ! The room was clean, nevertheless.

The hotel is crowded so I got a room on the first day on the street side, which was kind of noisy.

You can find a better deal for cheaper price in town

We weren't expecting this hotel to be so nice. There were large common areas inside with pool table and free computers. Being winter and raining we didn't use the external facilities. The laundry service was good and the staff friendly and helpful. It was easy to catch the local bus into town or to the falls.
Only drawback was it wasn't located within walking distance of other restaurants/cafes and the evening meals started at 8pm. Otherwise the food was good.

Nice and clean and good staff

over all expedia was up to it's usual standard and I was happy with where I went and at the hotel where I stayed. The Staff were friendly and could speak English and Spanish. The LAN airline was good and service was great.

Ok for a daytrip

Hotel was clean enough, and staff were very helpful and friendly, but it is a ways out of town. There is a bus that runs every half hour to town. Would be good if you were just staying the one night to make the day trip to the falls.
Hotel did get a little noisy at night, has a number of hostel rooms too.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, but connecting door to next door room with few sound isolation, large restaurant areas and halls, breakfast ok , nice swimmingpool and outside bar, located outside town, bus stops up front, 30 minutes frequency, taxi downtown costs 4 Euro one way(15 minutes), bus to Iguazu Waterfalls in front of hotel, bookings of bus and boats tour in hotel, hotel taxi driver makes tour to Iguazu Brasilian side for reasonable amount, ho(s)tel accepts only cash

Keep your valuables with you at all times.

The rooms were a nice size and were quite clean. The food, although limited in variety, was very tastey and reasonably priced. The pool and surrounding garden area was a great size and very well maintained and the staff was very friendly and eager to help.
I can't stress enough though, that there seems to be a high security risk at this hotel. The \"secure\" luggage lockup that we were promised was accessible through the front dest staff who had the only key was actually available to everyone who asked for the key.

O café da manhã deixou um tanto a desejar, frutas e frios nunca estavam frescos. O quarto é simples e bem antigo, porém sempre limpo e organizado, com ar condicionado. O atendimento dos funcionários foi muito bom. A piscina foi também um ponto positivo, gostamos bastante. A localização é excelente, próximo à fronteira com o Brasil, ao parque das Cataratas e ao centro comercial.

Un hotel es muy viejo, con llaves antiguas, no se ve limpio y se encuentra sin mantenimiento, la regadera sin presión el agua caliente tarda en salir, no hay secasira de pelo hay que solicitarla en el lobby, el desayuno es super escueto, para el check out te hacen esperar a que revisen.
