Lovely room with fantastic views. Really enjoyed the spa. Bed a bit too soft, but great to have bathrobes included.
Restaurant pricey but mains were good. Disappointed by desserts. Awful experience in the Sea Deck bar - service was dreadful and food mediocre. Most tables at knee level so not ideal for dining. Breakfast decent but nothing special - buffet only. Apart from the service in the bar, staff were great and we enjoyed our stay

The building is long and has multiple levels and no elevator. If one has mobility issues, it would be wise to make a note when booking.
The staff are super helpful and accommodating.
Dinner was nice with fresh meat from an award winning butcher.
They take bookings for the small outdoor hot tub, so keep this in mind if you’re looking forward to the experience.

It was hard to find staff, especially for lunch. Our room was down a weird warren of hallways up steps and down steps. The room and bathroom were attractive. The pillows were awful! They wouldn’t fluff. It was a heatwave when we were there. The cleaning staff left the heater on. I was hot and couldn’t sleep. There wasn’t a fan to help move the air. Dinner was expensive and bland. The shower was difficult to get in and out of.There were no extras in the bathroom you would expect from the price point. Expensive all around for what you get. Bedding (especially pillows), bathroom extras, and a fan need to be updated.

Our room was spacious and was cleaned thoroughly every day whilst we were there.Staff were all helpful and all appeared to know their job role and responsibilities.Breakfast was initially from a menu but was changed to a buffet on our last two mornings.Both ways were fine and there was a very good choice of hot and cold food.
The bar was well stocked and staff were pleasant and attentive.
We ate in the bar each night and the food was very good with several choices and priced very reasonably.
The hotel was close to the beach and was accessed by a board walk which we used.The hotel had a pool and spa which we did not use as we went out sightseeing each day.
The view from the hotel was stunning too.

Great location to the ferry - very dog friendly - staff very helpful - spa facilities excellent - food good - could provide a separate table from restaurant for those with dogs - eating breakfast and evening meal sitting on a sofa not very comfortable.

We stayed at Kingsmill Hotel Inverness and they provided a table away from restaurant and bar - so much more comfortable eating at a table rather than being crunched up on a low sofa or chairs.

The Isle of Mull Hotel is superb. Everything was perfect - staff, rooms, restaurant, bar and spa.
We particulary enjoyed walking along the fairy glen to and from Craignure.
We also appreciated the pick-up to/from the ferry, as we were travelling without a car.

Stunning views, beautifully maintained & clean rooms, great spa & pool and very good restaurant/bar food. There are bikes to hire, too. The hotel had great facilities especially the pool and spa. Parking was plentiful, however, EV charge station was not operating. Our room was clean and welcomevyreats were appreciated, however, all walls in our room were either stained scratched or in need of washing or repainting. Generally felt that all staff had only had minimal amount of training.

Our stay was wonderful; the room was spotless and cozy, with a breathtaking view. We enjoyed a warm, restful night. One area for improvement might be the restaurant, as prices are rather steep—almost £40 for a main course. I expected a larger portion, but it was just a single piece of sea bass, which had a fishy flavor.

We had a fabulous week at the Isle of Mull Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and our sea view room stunning.

We ate at the bar and in the restaurant and both were amazing, staff were polite and attentive, especially Sean.

The hotel is great for touring round the island and provided us a comfortable and convenient base for our trip.

Only downside was the pool wasn't open as there was a problem with the heating of the water, but I think that was nearly fixed as we left. Spa was open though, although we didn't use it that looks lovely - outside sauna/hot tub.

Would definitely return if we visit Mull again.

Nice staff and rooms, but the communal parts of the property are quite dated.

The pool wasn’t open during our stay due to heating issues which we were emailed about a week before but by then we had already booked excursions from Isle of Mull, ferries and travelled from far so it was too late for us to change all of this and we’d loose to much money.

We were also surprised that you had to book a slot for the hot tub which was cleaned every other hour and completely emptied every three days according to maintenance man- this was extreme we felt as we have the exact same hot tub at home and have had for over 20 years and we have never been told we need to empty it every 3 days!

The spa chill area behind the hot tub where you can sit inside and enjoy the view is also very small and there were several people walking in and out leaving the door to slam so hard, walking back and forth all the time to check the hot tub and it made for not so “chill” of a location so I just went back to my room.

One thing I would like to say though is the massages were incredible. The two ladies that work there are extremely kind and skilled. I would definitely recommend getting treatments with them as it was certainly worth the money.

The room was fantastic we paid for a king with a sea view, we had a really busy day and thought staying here would be great, we arrived and the pool was closed we were not told during the booking this was the case, when it came to dinner the ordering was made really difficult with staff confusing what was going on, the food we ordered was put on another table,

Lovely stay and enjoyed the spa facilities. We ate in the bar area as we had our dog and the staff were very welcoming. The Mull scallops were delicious as was the whisky and marmalade ice cream.

The hotel has some nice qualities: it’s conveniently close to the ferry, has tasteful décor, and the staff are generally friendly. A special mention to Miguel from Miami, who worked the breakfast service—he was genuinely warm and attentive.

That said, several aspects were disappointing. Our room was never serviced, even though we were out during the day and hadn’t placed a “do not disturb” sign. The spa felt underwhelming—very limited facilities, the pool is shared with the local community, and while the hot tub is free, you have to book a slot, which feels odd for a place branding itself as a “spa.”

Practical frustrations added up too: reception was empty when I tried to check out in the morning, and navigating the hotel requires going up and down what feels like a million stairs. Lastly, the hotel sells spa products but doesn’t use them in the rooms—seems like a missed opportunity, since people are more likely to buy if they get to try them first.

Overall, it’s not a bad hotel, but for the price and “spa” label, I expected more.

Room to start looks great very nicely done with the coastal theme. But its all surface dressing very little storage space is provided, the bed is a cheap sprung mattress that wants to throw you out of bed if you get too close to the edge. Bath room is finished well part for the shower screen that has mold forming in the seal due to being a clipon design. Room was otherwise quiet but might be due to being at the furthest end of the building from everything else.

The hotel is very nice, the location and view are stunning. The spa is great. The pool closed at 8 which seemed early and prior to 7 they had kids swimming lessons so we only had 1 hour to use it. Our only real complaint is that we were on the ground floor. And we both woke up with lots of bites. Maybe ants but were not sure. Also the halway carpet is very outdated.

This was our second stay and it’s a lovely property with wonderful staff that was both friendly and very accommodating…the food in the restaurant and sea deck bar is excellent. Our only complaint was a musty smell in one of the two rooms we rented that was quite overpowering and the lobby fireplace wasn’t working on a cooler day when the patio door was left open. We would definitely stay here again.

My recent stay was far from the spa hotel experience I expected. The room was underwhelming, walls were visibly dirty, there were no robes or slippers provided (which are standard for a spa-focused stay), and the room lacked a refrigerator. Overall, the facility looks tired and in desperate need of refurbishment.

To make matters worse, the service in the dining room, particularly from Powell, was poor. He came across as rude and disengaged, showing little personality or hospitality. For a hotel marketing itself as a spa destination, this level of service is unacceptable.

The entire experience felt more like staying in a dated motel with spa features tacked on, yet charging luxury hotel prices. Very disappointing and not something I would recommend.

Like.- superb bar staff. Shame about automatic 10% service charge even though I know you can have it revoked- leads to embarrassment.

Dislike- room29 had large tear in curtains- picture taken and shown at reception. Damaged painting on window sill and windows is a poor look.
No air conditioning provided- not even a fan. Shame because when I left window open to cool room down at night, led to many midges getting in.
Considering the charge of over £200 per night for a room only, I believe this place not to be good value for money.

Really nice 4* hotel within walking distance of Craignure ferry terminal. Room, shower and food all good. Well maintained grounds with walkways down to the beach, and pleasant outside sitting areas including a balcony off the main bar lounge with great views over to Oban. Generally the service was very good, but the only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was that on the restaurant menu there was a cheese plate for 2. As my wife wanted a pudding I asked if I could have the cheese plate for 1 - \"No\" was the response. I genuinely don't understand this lack of flexibility and would appreciate someone from the hotel explaining the thought process to me.
That said, I would stay again.

Comfortable enough, reasonably nicely decorated and appointed but overall very poor value for money. The room was pretty small and the windows single glazed. Lots of condensation in the morning. The food and drink is astronomically expensive. My partner and I had a couple of drinks each before dinner (beer and wine) then two courses from the restaurant menu and other beer and wine each. Almost £200 for the meal and drinks! In a decent five star hotel restaurant that may be a fair price but the food served was no where near good value for money. Almost £40 for a small piece of venison and potatoes. Utter robbery. There is a small pub in the village about a mile from the hotel, where we ate the following evening. It’s excellent, honest, good value food. Unlike the hotel. Furthermore the serving staff have difficulty with understanding English as they are not from the U.K. At breakfast the order had to be repeated numerous times and still turned up wrong. A request for had boiled eggs resulted in two lightly poached and runny eggs. We won’t be back.

Communal areas were nice. Spa treatments were expensive and not worth the money. Room 38 had a damp musty smell, curtains were ripped and behind the bed was dirty. Breakfast was not great, food had been cooked and sat keeping warm so was overcooked. The quality of food for the prices charged was not as expected. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Hotel staff were lovely though.

A large, well-maintained and well-managed complex. Friendly staff. The rooms are spread out along extensive corridors. Our room was at the end of one, no lifts and up and down staircases! Food excellent but wine is expensive.

The hotel is convenient to the Craignure ferry. It was very nice, updated, quiet and very clean. Staff were lovely. We had reserved a room with 2 town beds. When we arrived it was a single king. The front desk person was very accommodating and had housekeeping change the bed over to 2 twins while we were having dinner. We had a small view of the water with Lismore lighthouse in the distance.

Lovely hotel for a night away in Mull

Lovely hotel with thoughtful, modern decor and comfortable rooms.
Stunning view across the water from Bar, Lounge and Restaurant.
Made good use of pool but didn't realise an additional charge was required for the spa.
Breakfast was excellent foodwise but service a bit slow - possibly just due to busy bank holiday?
Would recommend.

Great location with beautiful views.

Clean and comfy rooms.
Food was good.
Nice enough hotel but spa facilities are run down.
Hot tub was out of order during our stay.
Only hand towels available in spa, 2 foot baths were broken and pool is open to the public so pretty busy.
Good choice if your looking for a good hotel getaway but if your looking for a spa weekend, I’d look elsewhere
