We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was stunning and a short 20min walk along the lake shore to Malcesine. The hotel bistro was amazing! The food was beautiful and delicious. All of the hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, particularly, Octavian, who was delightful! Our room was spacious and well equipped. The only thing missing was a kettle but we were given one as soon as we asked at reception. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge amount of choice and the food was so fresh and delicious! The private spa experience was amazing, and one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, an exceptional place to stay!

Fabulous property right on the water’s edge. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, eaten overlooking Lake Garda. Beach towels provided to laze on the sun loungers either by the pool or admiring the lake view - simply stunning! Would definitely recommend this hotel without question, one of the best I’ve stayed at.

We have been to the Hotel for 4 times and I have recommended it to personal friends and family who in turn also had an awesome time. You can’t fault the location, the staff are all friendly and keen to provide you with anything you may need to make your stay one to remember. If you want to walk to the town you can and it’s a stunning walk along the lake. If you want to get there quicker the hotel will gladly lend you a bike or two for free again to make the difference!!! Breakfast is great and is the bar service, especially by the pool. The only slight negative I can think of is that there is no tea or coffee in the rooms. But you do have a fridge and there is a little shop just up the road. You even have English tv which was a new addition for this year and makes it feel more like home. We will be going again next year.

Incredible hotel with amazing staff and pool

Absolutely one of the best hotels and locations I've ever stayed at...if not THE best.
Everything about this hotel is superb, the staff, the food , the amazing breakfast , the choice of rooms, the incredible location (just 20 minute walk along the lake to Malcesine and just off the main road set in a bay - perfect ), the pool , the relaxed atmosphere , the parking , the style ......everything just how I like it to be.

Couples retreat

Our first trip without kids in 7yrs and this hotel did not disappoint. Tranquillity was everywhere, whether it was on our balcony overlooking the lake, on the open veranda for breakfast or by table light for a high end dinner we were always relaxed and well looked after.
Breakfast caters for everyone and the dinner menu is very specialist with many meals prepared at the table. I would only say the meals were good but not all dishes were worth the extra you pay compared to town.
Finally it is a 20 to 30 minute walk to Malcesnie and a beautiful walk day and night that helps build your appetite for all the Italian food.

Housekeeping put a lovely message on our mirror, recognising our 30th anniversary, along with 2 glasses of Champagne delivered to our room. Very nice touch. Evening dinners limited menu and quite expensive. This was the only slight negative of the whole experience.

One of my favorite hotels

My family of 5 (3 kids, 8, 12 and 14) loves Hotel Val Di Sogno. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and overlook the gorgeous lake. The food is excellent, including the included breakfast buffet, lunch by the pool and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Pool area was great too. No complaints, this place is great. 25 minute beautiful walk by the lake to Malcesine.

Excellent hotel on the shores of Lake Garda

This is a friendly and welcoming hotel with excellent facilities in a great location . Our room was very well appointed and had a balcony with stunning views of the lake.
The staff were fantastic and would go out of their way to help you get the most out of your holiday. Special mention to Isabella on reception who greeted us every day with a smile.
Hot and cold Breakfast options were available although a little more variety (especially hot food) would have been good.

The hotel staff were absolutely fantastic. Not only were they polite and accomodating, but they had good knowledge of the area and were happy to go out of their way to assit us with nothing but a smile on their face. We had a room with a lake view wbich was absolutely breathtaking. I would definately be back and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay at Lake Garda.

Nice place, friendly staff.

The service was top-notch, the room was a little dusty and I wish they allowed the air conditioner to be turned on in the month of Oct. Had to keep the door open over night.. The nights can still get plenty warm and then get really cold in early morning ... Overall, beautiful place in a good location.

Excellent Hotel- superb food and stunning views

Recently stayed at this hotel whilst attending a family wedding in Malcesine. The Reception staff were excellent, the food was superb and the Hotel is spotlessly clean. This hotel is right on the lake and a 10 min walk into Malcesine, there is a spa on the lower level which is well worth a visit. I would definitely recommend a stay and would happily return to Hotel Val di Sogno

Best Hotel in the area

We could not fault this hotel, all the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and everybody had a smile on their face. Which is not surprising given the view they look at every day!
The location is perfect as only a 5 minute bus ride or 30 minute stroll on the beautiful coastal path into Malcesine. Can't wait to return.

The hotel is right on the lake and has amazing views. The rooms are large and modern. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. It has bicycles you can use to cycle along the lake front. It has a wonderful heated outdoor swimming pool and a brand new spa/gym, all overlooking the lake. I would definitely return.

1) Location; in a south facing small bay, with all the rooms against the sea. Amazing view.
2) Spacy rooms with a lot of fresh air from a silent new air conditiong system
3) Excellent breakfast,

Ein super Hotel in allerbester Lage mit wirklich erstklassigen Personal. Sie Essen & Wohnen gefühlt direkt am See in einer der schönsten Buchten. Es wird von der ersten Minute Wert auf besten Service gelegt. Wir waren begeistert und haben schon viele andere Hotels am Gardasee gebucht. Alles zusammen war dies das Beste, auch wenn der Weg nach Malcesine zu Fuß etwa 30min dauert :-( Dafür bekommen wir aber Ruhe und absolute Entspannung. Wir schreiben eigentlich keine Bewertungen - dieses Hotel hat es aber absolut verdient!

Immer wieder gerne! Empfehlenswert

Wir haben uns Willkommen und sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage mit direktem Zugang zum Wasser. Eine super schöne Gartenanlage zum Wohlfühlen und Relaxen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und der Tag fing gut an. Das Zimmer war komfortabel, sauber und hatte einen tollen Ausblick. Der Balkon ist unser Highlight am Abend gewesen. Wir haben die Möglichkeit der Fahrradleihe genutzt so konnten wir alles in der Nähe wunderbar erkunden. Die Wanderwege sind auch schnell und einfach erreichbar. Von dieser Unterkunft aus, sind alle Aktivitäten gut zu erreichen. Alles war rundherum perfekt! Wir hatten hier einen super schönen Start in unseren Italienurlaub!

Hatte ein Zimmer mit direktem Seeblick um so richti schön die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Einzig die Matratze war mir persönlich zu weich (bevorzuge eine harte Matratze). Und in einer Ecke war es etwas staubig, aber ansonsten war alles sehr schön. Würde hier also auch nochmal herfahren.

Glücksfund, werden wiederkommen!

Sehr schöne Lage, sehr gepflegt, freundlich, ausgezeichnetes Restaurant mit tollem Blick, was will man mehr? Per Zufall über die App gefunden und gebucht für eine Nacht am gleichen Tag bzw. Abend. Sehr freundlich beim Check-In und die Dame zeigt einem persönlich das Zimmer. Darüber hinaus wurde ich auch darauf hingewiesen, dass ich das Motorrad auch sehr gerne in die Parkgarage stellen könnte.

Das Bad hat eine getrennte Toilette und die Badewanne/Duschkombination hat eine ausreichend hohe Wand, sodass man als großer Mensch (knapp 2 m) das Bad beim Duschen nicht unter Wasser setzt - prima.

Frühstück bis um 11 Uhr und man danach auch gerne noch länger bleiben, muss allerdings das Zimmer freimachen. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist umfangreich und Eierspeisen werden individuell zubereitet und an den Tisch gebracht. Kaffeegetränke kann man selber aus einem WMF Automaten beziehen, was für mich in Ordnung war.

War zwar nur eine Nacht und alleine hier, werde aber definitiv mit Begleitung wiederkommen.
