Nice hotel - near the top of the market, but the price point reflects that. Only concerns we had were the hotel did not have air conditioning (we could open the window, but that would not help if there was a heat wave) and secondly there is very limited parking - except for the parking lot across that street that is paid parking, but often full with tourists etc.

Excellent. Reception team and staff very helpful, great lake side location, with a large verandah/deck to sit and enjoy a meal, drink, or just the view. Room was very clean and comfortable. Limited on-site parking, but there is a large lake side car park across the road, Eur 4 or 5 for overnight parking. Dinner was one of he best we have enjoyed, meat cooked perfectly to carve-with-a spoon tenderness. Buffet breakfast was extensive and thoroughly enjoyable.

Nice surprise

Found this hotel in a small village just 1 hours from Hamburg. Only reason for picking it was that all others were fully booked.

But it is a great hotel at the lakeside in Ratzeburg. Nice large rooms, perfect breakfast and dinner.

A great location, if you get a room that doesn't face the road! Lake views fantastic, breakfast good and dinner excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable - recently refurbished. But the traffic noise - constant. A great pity about the noise because the hotel does everything else for me.

Fantastisk hotell!

For et fantastisk hotell! Beliggenheten er helt nydelig med innsjø på begge sider av hotellet. På baksiden har de en nydelig terrasse helt inntil innsjøen. Rommet vi fikk var kjempelekkert rett og slett, stort og med balkong. Utsikten fra balkongen var ned på terrassen og utover innsjøen. Kunne ikke vært bedre! Dette hotell anbefales på det sterkeste, det må oppleves:-) kan også skryte av både middagen, frokosten og dessertmenyen! Vi skal definitivt tilbake:-)

The hotel enjoys a stunning lakeside location, but the rate of around €200 per night feels high for a small, quiet town with limited options for dining, shopping, and activities. Parking is available nearby for a fee, and there was no EV charger despite the listing on Hotels.com. Service was friendly but a little too laid-back.

Hotellet havde glemt at vi havde et barn med på 8 år, så der blev mast en ekstra seng ind på værelset. Borde t stole måtte flyttes og det hele var meget klemt.
Vi fik ingen information om hotellet da vi tjekkede ind. Personalet var på ingen måde imødekommende eller servicemindede. Hotellet lever IKKE op til billederne- meget nedslidt. Meget skuffende oplevelse.

Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind unzureichend. Vielleicht sollte das Hotel gegenüber auf dem Parkplatz anmieten.
Die Beleuchtung im Zimmer war ebenfalls unzureichend. Entweder Festbeleuchtung oder Schlaflicht. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage des Hauses ist hervorragend.

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Bei Frühstücksbüffet habe ich allerdings eine größere Auswahl an Bio-Käse am Stück vermisst. Das Essen im Restaurant war schmackhaft und übersichtlich auf dem Teller angeordnet.

Sehr schön zwischen den beiden Seen gelegen. Tolle Terasse zum Verweilen, Essen und Frühstücken. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Strand zum Schwimmen und eine Sauna.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am See mit schöner Seeterasse. Nur wenn man leider ein warmen Zimmer zur Strassenseite hat, ist es nachts entweder zu warm oder zu laut. Das Personal war sehr nett und zurvorkommend. Auch das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Großes Zimmer mit schönem Bad.

Husk at bestille værelse med udsigt

Vi havde desværre ikke mulighed for bestille et værelse ned udsigt ud mod vandet - så vi bestilte med udsigt mod byen.
Udsigten fra vores værelse var glastagene over restauranterne.

Der er så utroligt smukt ud mod søen, så det bør man priorieter

Super fint hotelværelse, dejlig seng og en helt perfekt udsigt over søen både fra værelset og fra restauranten.
Super fin service fra receptionen.
Skøn og veltillavet mad, dog lidt skuffet over at finde skiveskåret, vaccumpakket ost på morgenbordet.

Övernattning på resa

Hotellets restaurang serverade en utmärkt middag och en bra frukost. Det var nog det bästa på resan. Lite märkligt att man däremot behöver passera mitt igenom retaurangen för att ta sig till sina rum. Kändes väldigt märkligt.
Helt OK rum med bra sängar trots det inget som inbjöd till någon längre vistelse, men helt klart ett bra övernattningshotell för långresan (på väg norrut igen).

I informationen i Hotels.com stod städning dagligen men på hotellet gällde städning var annan dag. Man hänvisade till miljöskäl. Hotellet ligger dock väldigt fint och frukost och middag var bra. Mitt sammanlagda betyg blir 3,5

Jättetrevligt ställe för en natt eller två på väg ut i Europa. Väldigt trevlig personal och god mat i restaurangen på kvällen. Frukostbuffén var väl tilltagen och väldigt god.

Wunderschön am See gelegen. Sehr romantisch. Hervorragende Küche, schon etwas teurer, aber m. E. berechtigt. Die Getränke waren hochpreisig, man wurde aber mit den gemütlichen Sitzplätzen und der tollen Aussicht belohnt. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Man sollte darauf achten, ein Zimmer zur Seeseite zu bekommen, da die kleine Straße vor dem Hotel stark befahren ist. Die Fenster bieten allerdings einen sehr guten Schallschutz. Nur ist der Ausblick auf den See so schön, das sollte man sich nicht entgegen lassen.

Gute Adresse!

Der Seehof liegt ideal am Küchensee, man geniesst richtiges Ferienfeeling. Die Küche ist sehr ansprechend, das Personal immer aufmerksam und zuvorkommend! Wir kommen wieder nach Ratzeburg!

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am See mit Badesteg und Liegewiese mit komfortablen Liegen. Am Steg findet sich eine Badetreppe in den See, der am Einstieg teilweise mit Schilf und Seerosen bewachsen ist, was das Schwimmen aber nicht behindert. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und sehr bemühtes Personal. Reichhaltiges gutes Frühstück und leckeres Mittagessen. Unsere Junior Suite war gemütlich, recht großzügig und modern eingerichtet mit 2 bequemen Sesseln und einem Tischchen, Spiegelschrank und Schreibtisch. Bequeme Betten, sauberes Bad, angenehme Dusche, Föhn und Kosmetikspiegel. Balkon mit zwei Korbsesseln, Tischchen und Sonnenschirm und Blick direkt auf den See. Leider hatten wir nur 1 Tag Zeit. Gerne jederzeit wieder.

Lage top allerdings nur für die Superior Zimmer mit Blick auf den See.
Die Standardzimmer sind direkt neben der Straße. Deshalb nachts entweder schlaflos durch Dauerlärm bei geöffnetem Fenster oder schlaflos durch Sauerstoffmangel/Hitze bei geschlossenem Fenster.
Eine Klimaanlage wäre wünschenswert. Eine Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkung würde auch deutlich lärmmindernd sein.

Dafür sind 150€ die Nacht einfach nicht angebracht.

Service und Essen nichts zu beanstanden.

Fantastiskt! Lugnt och avkopplande.

Bokade hotellet två nätter på vägen hem från en längre resa - ångrar inte! :-) Supertrevlig och professionell personal som tog väl hand om oss. Rummet var riktigt mysigt och vi fick t.o.m. sjöutsikt som kunde njutas. Vi åt på hotellets restaurang bägge dagar, både frukost och middag - maten var riktigt bra! Har inget illa att säga om stället. Det skulle i så fall vara att alla parkeringar var upptagna, men rakt över gatan fanns massor av lediga och för 4 euro natten kan man inte klaga! :-) Lübeck ligger endast en halvtimme bort, om man vill ha lite fler shopping-möjligheter. Kommer gärna tillbaka!

Hotel mit Potenzial

Service gut, Frühstücksbüffet sehr umfangreich, das Zimmer hell und sauber.
Leider hatten wir im Zimmer während 4 Tagen kein W-LAN (wir hatten eines der äussersten Zimmer). Es hat nur wenige zum Hotel gehörende Parkplätze und diese sind sehr schmal, ansonsten muss man gebührenpflichtig gegenüber parkieren.
Zum Frühstück wurden teilweise mehrmals aufgebackene Brötchen aufgestellt!

Gerne wieder!

Das Hotel liegt direkt am See mit idyllischer Terrasse. Darauf achten, dass man kein Zimmer nach hinten zur Straße bekommt, die ist recht befahren. Das Essen ist sehr gut, sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen. Der Service könnte nicht besser sein.

Alles super, aber in einem Nichtraucherzimmer hat ein vollgeaschter Aschenbecher (wurde auch am naechsten Tag nicht gereinigt) nichts zu suchen, auch nicht auf dem Balkon. Der Zigarettengestank der Nachbarn zieht dann auch ins Zimmer rein. Am zweiten Abend mussten wir den Balkon verlassen und bei geschlossenem Fenster schlafen da wir leider frische Luft bevorzugen.
Positiv: Das Zimmer an sich, die Lage, das freundliche Personal beim Fruehstueck. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Hoffentlich dann in ein auch fuer Nichtraucher geeignetes Zimmer.

Smuk beliggenhed. Meget trafiklarm.

Vi har besøgt hotellet en gang før. Det har en fantastisk beliggenhed og lækker terrasse ud til søen. Dejlig morgenmad, aftensmad og service i restauranten. Værelserne er dog meget varme om sommeren. Vi havde vinduer ud mod vejen og det larmer en hel del. Aircondition ville gøre underværker. Det er lækre værelser, gode senge og badeværelse, dog med et stort minus: brusenichen, som har et frygteligt glat gulv. Jeg havde et voldsomt fald fordi det var så glat. Fra hotellets side var der ingen hjælp at få, så jeg købte selv en skridsikker bademåtte - hvilket jeg vil anbefale alle at medbringe.

Hotell vid sjökanten

Hotellet har ett fantastiskt läge vid sjökanten. Egen liten badbrygga och en liten \"gång\" i vattnet mellan vass och näckrosor, och genom den simmar man ut i sjön för ett tidigt morgondopp. Högklassig restaurang med trevliga bord bland rosenrabatterna och ända ner till bryggan. Trevlig omgivning med stor allmän badstrand, restauranger och en vacker gammal stadskärna några hundra meter ifrån hotellet. Enda nackdelen var att vi saknade AC på rummet i sommarhettan. Och standardrummen mot gatan kan vara lite störda av trafiken om man sover med öppet fönster.

Virkelig lækkert værelse

Fantastisk hotel med udsigt over søen. Lækre værelser og dejlig mad. Byen i sig selv er ikke specielt fed, men der er strand på den anden side af vejen, en fiskerestaurant (der ikke tager internationale kort) og en hyggelig bådtur.
Eneste minus... jeg syntes vandet lugtede lidt muggent... 🤔
