Needed a stay for 1 night while on the road. Booked online. Arrivedto check in, staff member was on the phone. He didn't acknowledge my arrival, and, once iff the phone, continued working at his desk. 2 men arrived, and with that, staff member got up to assist them first, but they stated that i was ahead of them. He was sullen and as unhelpful as could be. I filled out the paperwork and we went up. The room was basic, it could definitely use some freshening, fresh paint and upgrades to the sad looking bathroom. Overall, its a mediocre place and I would never stay here again.

We have been to this hotel over the last 8yrs on many occasions to visit family that live locally. Unfortunately on this occasion we were hugely disappointed with the hotel and the lack of modernisation. It's looking very dated and tired and the room we were in (315) had a tap in the bathroom that had a lot of rust on it, in addition to a cracked bathroom window that couldn't would stay opened and we had to use a pencil to keep the window open to remove the condensation. The outside was also poorly maintained with tiles missing on walls. Despite it being convenient we won't be returning to this hotel again.

Nice hotel close to old town

The hotel was conveniently located close to the old town but it was too far to walk so we used public transportation. The bus stopped close to the hotel. Was able to find parking outside the hotel for free. The room was large and met our expectations but it was kind of dark in there due to the window being small. There was a small kitchenette outside our room which was a nice feature. There was only one elevator and it was slow so we used the stairs for 3rd floor room. The receptionist was great and helped answer any questions we had.

Place is a dump. Not in the center of the city as advertised. It's an old apartmemt converted into a hotel. There was a police raid in the next building, tells you about the area. Wyndham should be embarassed.

Quiet, clean and comfortable hotel

Nothing extravagant, no wows or splurge, but definitely a welcoming place where you can rest well, sleep well, recharge all you need to (lots of plugs in the room), do some work, if you have to (quick and free wifi) - and get quickly and conveniently to the train station and the city center in minutes. Quiet, clean and comfortable hotel.

Unfriendly staff!

The hotel was not really accessible to a person in a wheelchair although the hotel info led me to believe that it is and I had specifically requested such an accommodation in advance. According to the Orbitz's site, I should have been notified in advance by the hotel if the accommodation was not possible but I wasn't. The front desk staff who handled the situation, when I checked in, was more concerned about covering for their error and lack of communication than acting quickly to resolve the problem while my party was waiting. Eventually she found a bigger room that at least allowed the wheelchair to roll in. Very disappointed by the slow response and unfriendly manners of the staff! The value for what I got was not worth the trouble. I will not stay here again!

My room was spacious, clean and modern. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. For example, a trip to the city centre was easy as the Reception was well prepared with specific bus schedules that showed where to get on and off the bus. I will choose this hotel again when I stay in Lübeck next time.

The hotel is just ok. Not right in downtown thats why the price is convenient. It is a walkable distance to downtown or a short ride in bus. The hotel is not well mantained,feels 80s-like but was clean and ok for a one night stay. Breakfast,if not included is expensive,we didnt take it. Wifi is free but disconnects from time to time.

Hotel as last resort.

The staff was fantastic but the facility just passes as bare minimum. Bathroom requires gymnastic capabilities for usuage, towels are limited, lay-out of room is not user friendly and parking is a disaster. Recommend TRYP hotels only as final option!

Staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and there is a bus stop at the corner of the street and only a 10 minute bus ride from the old city. There wasn't any shops or restaurants nearby so you may have to plan all your meals. However, I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Pay the extra 50 euro and stay somewhere else

The cleanliness of the hotel was reasonable, however the staff where abysmal. Everything seemed like too much hassle, room service was none existent and anything you needed brought to the room ie plates, knives and forks, teabags you would have a conversation like the following:

'uhhhh well I can't get you it because it's in the kitchen'
' do you have a key'
'uhhhh yes but, go to the kitchen and get it yourself'

Above all of this, we where given do not disturb signs to hang on our doors for privacy. These where completely ignored. Twice cleaning staff strutted into our room in the mornings and the third time they just continued to knock until we answered the door. We also requested an extra blanket and where bluntly told no by the staff at reception. All in all, although the hotel looked nice the experience was totally diminished because of the 'I can't be bothered' attitude of the reception staff. The ONLY redeeming factor about staying at the TRYP Hotel Lubeck is the restaurant girls where lovely and helped in every way they could. Very polite and nothing was too much trouble.

Dame an der Rezeption sehr wortkarg, unfreundlich. Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht . Wenn die Dame uns gefragt hätte ob wir eventuell doch ein Frühstück möchten hätten wir das gerne genommen. Das Personal auf Zusatz Verkäufe Schulen! Das Zimmer war für den Preis ok. Viel Potential nach oben vorhanden. Zum übernachten ohne große Ansprüche völlig ok.

Parkkihalli oli hyvä,mutta ei suoraa hissiyhteyttä huoneisiin ja jyrkät portaat ylös. Liikuntavammainen ei olisi voinut käyttää hallia. Portaikko oli muutenkin sottainen.
Huone oli ihan siisti ja muutenkin ok, lisäpisteitä normaalikokoisesta jääkaapista ja keittomahdollisuudesta.
Aamiainen oli tosi hyvä ja hintansa arvoinen.Ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer war okay und sauber. Das Bad hatte kaputte Fließen, welche einfach übermalt oder überspachtelt wurden - hier sollte dringend renoviert werden. Es würde rund um das Hotel Parkplätze geben, welche jedoch gesperrt sind und man muss auf den danebenliegenden, öffentlichen Flächen parken?. Wir haben ohne Frühstück gebucht.

Sehr schlechte bis keine Service! Offenbar soll derjenige die am Rezeption arbeitet beim dich als Kunde informieren dass deine Zimmer Standard gemäß Nicht gereinigt wird! Nur auf Wunsch aber wenn derjenige die am Rezeption dich nicht informiert dann wird dein Zimmer nicht gereinigt ohne dass zu wissen. In das ganze Hotel ist nichts von Essen zu kaufen noch nicht mal Schokolade oder Chips. Nur Frühstück und nach 09.00Uhr wird es auch sehr knapp beim Buffet. Brötchen alle, Aufschnitt alle, Yoghurt alle usw. Frühstück ist aber bis 10.00Uhr! Ich hätte ein Besprechungsraum angefragt und reserviert und nach den Preis informiert konnte derjenige in der Rezeption mich nicht erzählen. Nächster Tag nochmals nachgefragt ob der Raum frei war und wurde bestätigt. War aber eigentlich kein Besprechungsraum sondern eine Erweiterung für den Frühstück Raum an Kapazität. Ich hätte ein Kanne mit Kaffee gefragt und 2 Tassen und etwas von Kekse und oder Schokolade dabei. Bekommen habe ich eine Undichte Kanne die gekleckert hat! Ohne kleckern konnte man nicht den Kaffee einschenken und der Kaffee war schon beim Anfang nicht wirklich warm. Ich habe den Raum für etwas mehr als 1,5Stunden benutzt und dafür haben die mich €79,- berechnet und ich sollte sehr froh sein weil normalerweise war das €129,-!! Wobei ein Zimmer für die ganze Nacht inklusive Frühstück rund €100,- ist! Fahrstuhl hat nicht funktioniert und nicht seit kurzem! Das Hotel steht auf umfallen!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unseren Zimmern. Es war alles sehr sauber und die Betten bequem. Eine Haltestelle, um mit dem Bus in die Altstadt zu fahren, ist direkt um die Ecke.

Riktigt bra hotell med möjlighet att laga mat och med kylskåp. Jättetrevlig personal, bra frukost och rena rum. Orkar man gå 2,5 km kommer man till zentrum av Lübeck. Prisvärt är det också. Förstår att detta är hantverkarnas val.

War früher mal ein „Best Western“ und hat davon nur die alte Ausstattung geerbt. Der Lack ist ab und es hat leider nur noch das Niveau einer „Handwerkerabsteige“. Kiva, siisti hotelli. Kolmelle henkilölle oli reilusti tilaa kahden makuuhuoneen verran 🙂 ilmainen pysäköintialue hotellin vieressä oli ihan luksusta myöhään illalla saapuneille matkaajille! Aamupala oli hyvä ja riittävä vaikka olimme paikalla vasta aamiaistarjoilun loppupuolella. Tätä voin ehdottomasti suositella 🙂
