This hotel could certainly need an upgrade. Capet all over was dirty,. Room needs an upgrade, cigaret burns on the table, tv didn’t work, bathroom door couldn’t close, hinges were loose. The hotel elevator, don’t get me started.

Experience was mostly positive, only negative was we had a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom on arrival, but when we brought this to the attention of the reception staff he was very apologetic and gave us a drinks voucher with the new towels. Bed was comfortable, but the room was a little too warm.

Nice but aircon malfunction

Modern style, affordable hotel within walking distance of the old town and Christmas market. Super clean. Dog friendly. Great brakfast, including DIY waffles. Friendly staff.

BUT problems with the aircon meant little sleep, both nights. Second night we switched rooms, but after a few minutes, same problem occurred, so another night in sauna-like temperature.

Have stayed at this property several times prior to this stay. It was as enjoyable this time as during prior visits. Top grade experience from check in to departure. Super clean rooms, excellent breakfast, and efficient as well as pleasant staff. Will be going back again in September.

The family room was lovely and spacious enough; however the top bunk had large gaps in the railing (it was designed that way) so I did not trust even my 9-year old to sleep up there without falling down if he rolled over.
We also discovered that the shower drain was stopped up and water leaked all over the bathroom floor. The receptionists kindly dealt with that and the fact that the hand soap was empty upon arrival, but it seems that such things should have been dealt with before we checked in.
The breakfast was great.

Affordable clean and comfy.

Location is outside the main gates but easy to get from train station by bus or cab (5euros). Walking also possible without small ones in tow. Bakery and Netto below. Clean entry. Cosy rooms. AC worked fine. Comfortable shower. Will hold luggage too. Recommended by this family of 4.

Location:
On a main road outside of the city center ~ 5 car minutes to the central train station. I selected this hotel because I did not want to deal with the costs of parking in the city center. There is some street parking, back parking, and a garage that is 5 euro per night if I remember correctly. There is a small supermarket and bakery right next door - very convenient.
Room:
Simple, small and clean room, very basic but very clean!
Bathroom very clean with sink and shower working well.
The bed mattress was not great. There was some overlay on top of the mattress but I was waking up with some back pain.
My room did not have a coffee machine, water heater or microwave etc.. A coffee maker would have been nice but the staff is very friendly and accommodating - they offer to make you a coffee at any time night / day with their professional machine - you pay by the cup (the cups are small).

Food:
There is a small bar and a breakfast room - the buffet looked good with the usual mix of bread rolls, cold cuts, cheese , sweet spreads, fruit etc..
I usually do not sign up for breakfast buffet due to the high costs given that I only drink coffee and a bread roll - so a local bakery is usually the better option for me.

Staff:
The staff was super friendly and helpful! Check-in quick and the staff members I encountered were genuinely interested in making it a good stay!

Good hotel when you visit the city by car. Easy to get there and plenty of parking. Distance to the city center is around 2 km - so still walkable. Hotel itself was clean and the comfort was also good. Quick and easy check in & out. Nothing to complain.

Nice comfortable hotel for a perfect night sleep.

I arrived a bit early but they were able to look after my bags until I was able to check in at the normal time. Not far away from the city, it about 20 minutes walk or just take a bus from the bus stop across the road which I believe is only 5 euros for a day ticket. The beds are very comfortable, perfect night sleep. Buffet breakfast is available for 12 euro which I had to say was worth it, excellent choice of hot and cold food, fruits, bread, yogurts, cereals, and my favorite was making my own waffles. I will return when I am in the area.

Basic, decent hotel in OK location

The hotel is about 25 mins walk into the centre of Lubeck and not the prettiest of locations.
Good sized room and comfy bed. No kettle or mini-bar and the only toiletries provided is a shampoo bottle attached to the wall in the shower.
We didn't have the breakfast - way too expensive. There are a few cafes around doing food for much less
There isn't much outside parking and it's confusing as the car park is shared with Netto. There is an underground car park that we used on the first night, do not use this unless you are happy to pay a surprise 6 euro charge. There is no sign to warn you of this nor can I see it mentioned on the hotel listing.

I was just driving through Germany and had to stay one night in Lubeck. This was more like a highway stop. The hotel was quite comfortable, friendly and English speaking staff. Breakfast was also nice in my opinion. The hotel also provides free parking. There are roughly 10 parking spots behind the hotel. I travelled here during a non-touristic time so this could be of more difficulty during high seasons.

This is a good comfortable hotel about 10 to 15 mins walk from the City Centre. I can't fault anything really the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy and the shower rooms are ok too. I would recommend asking for a room at the back as the road has a lot of emergency traffic at times.

Highly recommended!!!

Really great hotel considering the price. It takes only 15 minutes walking to the center of Lubeck. There is also a bus stop just outside the hotel, with its own \"Ibis Hotel\" stop :) Buses number 7 and 9 run often, so it is very convenient if someone does not wish to walk. There is a nice supermarket just next to the hotel as well and many small bars around. The roon was small but comfortable. The hotel has a nice little bar with very helpful stuff and 24h roomservice. Highly recommended!!!

The hotel appears to be recently refurbished and the rooms are consistent with the high Ibis standards. The hotel situated next to a supermarket and is about a 15 minute walk from the centre of the wonderful city of Lubeck and its delights. Friendly and helpful staff there is a bar and restaurant with typical Ibis fare.

Perfect efficiency hotel

The hotel is a short walk from the main train station, though in the opposite direction of all the local sights. It's going to take you 10-15 minutes, at least, to get where you want to go. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was small but you don't book at the Ibis for roomy conditions. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean with plenty of hot water. You could hear your neighbors during the prime time hours but once it got time for bed I didn't hear anything. Free wifi in the room and the restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner.

Great Location

Came for the Christmas Market and found this hotel to be excellent value. it is only 15-20 mins walk from the centre of town, and 10 mins from the Central Station. And if you prefer not to walk, several buses stop literally outside which take you to either place in no time. Helpful multilingual staff available 24 hrs, along with a bar and restaurant if required. Modern rooms spotless with all amenities and multi-functional pod bathrooms. Couldn't fault this hotel.

We had booked the Ibis far in advance as part of a 30 tour of Europe. When we arrived, we learned there had been a fire that had destroyed the reception area and bar. Attempts to contact us were unsuccessful because we weren't carrying a cell phone. The rooms were fine and the dedicated staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The room was quiet and comfortable, making our stay a pleasant one. Free in room wi-fi was appreciated. Our only issue was an overall lack of places to eat in this neighborhood....Make sure to take advantage of the many restaurants in the city center.

In dem Zimmer war am Tisch vor dem Fenster eine Reparatur mit Farbe vorgenommen worden, die noch nicht
ausgetrocknet war und unangenehm roch. Unter Haustierfreundlichkeit habe ich in anderen Häusern zumindest einen Wassernapf vorgefunden.

Huone siivottiin ihan hyvin mutta käytävillä ja yleisissä oli niin paljon käytön jälkiä että tuli likainen vaikutelma. Sänky oli muuten hyvä mutta jostain syystä sain inva- huoneen kaksine vuoteineen vaikka tilauksessa oli yksi leveä vuode. Aamiainen ihan perus josta18 euroa oli ehkä hieman korkea hinta. Ei pidempään oleskeluun mutta yhdeksi yöksi kelvollinen.

Sunkigt hotell i vackra Lübeck!

Sunkigt rum med gammal heltäckningsmatta som luktade gammal cigarettrök. Fönstret gick inte att ha öppet i och med att rökarna stod nedanför på trottoaren och bolmade. Läckande handfat som inte åtgärdades. Vi påtalade att vi bara skulle stanna en natt trots att vi hade bokat för två nätter men det hade man ingen förståelse för. Överlag ett risigt hotell i ett extremt tråkigt område. Dags för total renovering och byte av personal..

Bo inte på Ibis hotell när det är sommar

Kan ännu en gång konstatera att Ibis hotell har problem med sin AC på rummen. Har vid tidigare tillfälle bott på Ibis hotell och även då fungerade inte ACn så även i Lübeck. Trots att de erbjöd oss ett nytt rum som var det lika illa i det rummet. Därav det dålig betyger. Om det är kallt ute funderar säkert detta hotell bra för en övernattning men när det är över 23 som igår 29 grader då får man i rummet ingen kyla alls. Tråkigt för det var nog sista gången vi vågar oss bo på Ibis.

Das Personal war wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und sehr höflich. Das Zimmer war oberflächlich sauber (Gardinen und Fensterzargen schmutzig), allerdings zur Straßenseite hin gelegen und auch in der Nacht einfach nur laut.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfand ich persönlich als unangemessen. Wie gesagt, dass Personal hat alles mit Freundlichkeit wett gemacht!

Wir (3 Erw) waren hier (1 EZ, 1 DZ) für ein Mädels-Wochenende. Zu Fuß in die Altstadt waren es ca. 20 Minuten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sauber und modern, das Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
