had a wonderful stay at puri sari. the villa was beautiful and clean, the grounds were lovely, and the staff was friendly. amenities basic but perfectly adequate.

breakfast was included, the nasi goreng was delicious. it's a little bit tucked away but perfect for a retreat, there's a little private stretch of beachfront to relax in too. would recommend!

Me and my family had a pleasant time at the Puri Sari beach Hotel. Rooms are clean and very spacious. The food was delicious and staff were very friendly.
Unfortunately the beach in front is not very nice to swim.

Stayed for one night here before a week of diving in Komodo. Lovely big room with nice stone shower. Gardens and pool really nice to walk around, it feels very tranquil and in nature. Restaurant was nice with live music the night I was there. Breakfast was very good, lots of options and tasty food.
Wish I could have stayed longer!

A few days at sunset beach

We stayed in a villa at the hotel. It was fantastic. Large comfortable rooms with huge bathrooms. A patio outside to relax or hang clothes and towels after using the nice pool or beach was a nice plus.
The restaurant was good, with a variety of dishes. And there are beautiful sunsets. A perfect place for relaxing.

We only stayed for one night before a Komodo cruise but wish we had stayed longer. We had a 2 bedroom villa which was huge with amazing bathrooms. Pool was small but fine....beach is incredible and restaurant has an amazing outlook. Food was not amazing but okay. Beach is definately the drawcard, amazing sunsets!!

Environmentally conscious place. Own sewage system, selective waste collection, clean drinking water to spare on plastic bottles, clean beach. We loved it. Everything top quality. Purisari is a beautiful place to stay. For the environmentally friendly minded people they are reusing and recycling as much as possible It has a lovely beach front area which is always so clean and raked daily, all other areas around did not clean their property like Purisari did. Staff we always smiling and greeted you, it made us feel very welcome, they always tried to help with everything we asked. I would definitely stay there again. I give it my 2 thumbs up.

This property is a breathe of fresh air in Flores, away from the hustle of the city, but only 5 min cab ride, or free shuttle ride away to get into town. The place is beautiful with huge gardens and amazing sunset at the beach. Bean bags and big shady trees at the beach for sunset viewing. Breakfast/lunch and dinner all fantastic at the restaurant, highly recommend. Best service too, always friendly and happy. Big rooms, great aircon, huge bathrooms, hot water, honestly can't recommend enough!!

stayed 4 nights in May '19.as most reviews note,the staff is very friendly & accommodating.they went out of their way to find an item i had lost on the property which i was most appreciative of.they keep the grounds & the beach really immaculate on a daily basis which is nice compared to many other beachfront establishments.the room we had was well appointed and met all our needs.the touches like the water pitcher & mini frig were great.and the AC was good & cold.the kitchen does an outstanding job with the meals,especially breakfast.such delicious fresh local fruit, fruit juices,& the local seafood served at lunch & dinner was so much better than most restaurants (a great value!).also,the ability to be able to order food at the pool or beach and have it brought to us was a nice touch.they are doing some construction on the grounds,paths, & pool area cabana but it was not a disruption during our stay.
the one caveat to staying here,which was quite annoying during our time,was the local mosque's call to prayer which was broadcast long & loud MANY times during the day.including early morning & during evening hours while trying to sleep.not sure if this timing occurs only during Ramadan (we were there during this) or if it is a consistent thing,but if it really is a multi time daily occurrence i think this hotel will suffer as the word gets spread regarding the disruption.it unfortunately is distracting enough to lessen the enjoyment of lying on the beach or enjoying a massage.

Puri Sari Beach Hotel is a wonderful hotel.

The service was consistently superb, every staff member was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious (generous servings too!) and the grounds of the hotel (the gardens, pool, beach) were beautiful. There was easy transport to and from town with frequent free shuttles.

The room was spacious, very cool, and very nice. The bed was large and comfortable and the room was a lovely place to return to after exploring Komodo National Park.

The pool was excellent, the beach was lovely, all of the facilities were really good. Everything was very professional and very well run.

We really appreciated how every single staff member made us feel welcome and we could tell that they wanted us to enjoy our stay. We adored our stay at Puri Sari and we will definitely stay at Puri Sari again when we return to Labuan Bajo in the future.

This property was a great stay. They are making upgrades, but it didn't effect the quality of my stay at all. They were sold out on the last 2 nights, so I moved to a different hotel about 5 minutes away. In comparison:
1. Puri Sari offers free filtered water (and free bottled water)
2. Resteraunt menu is much better, and at least half the price
3. Free bug repellant lotion. That works!!!
4. All the staff are welcoming and constantly asking about your stay
5. If you can't make breakfast due to a day excursion, they will pack a breakfast box.
Highly recommended. They may be a bit less eye appealing than this other property, but I'd prefer Puri Sari.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Especially when it rained so hard and a nearby river burst it’s banks flooding the grounds of the hotel. Food was good and plentiful. However the hotel was tired and in need of some tlc. Swimming pool was great but some repairs need to be carried out . A little out of the town but shuttle (free) is offered.

A pleasant stay

I had a lovely time at Puri Sari. The staff was attentive and extremely helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the room was comfortable. The breakfast provided is good. The staff helped arrange a private tour to Padar Island, Pink Beach, and Rinca Island (to see the Komodo dragons). I recommend this hotel.

Cute, friendly place to call home in Labuhanbajo

Labuhanbajo has changed greatly since we were last there about 15 years ago, and Puri Sari is an example of a change for the good. There were previously few options for accommodations. The room, while plain in style, was nice and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Service was great—everyone was so friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Hubert, the manager, who helped us arrange a delightful day’s excursion to Komodo and various snorkeling sites. The pool is a good size and sparkling clean, and you also have the option of swimming on the beach that is just beyond the gardens and pool. We ate lunch in the restaurant, as well as the complementary breakfast, and the food was very good. The hotel gets high marks from me for being Indonesian owned.

Far from the port, but in a positive way

Nice hotel, a little bit far from the center, but this is ok, cause it's quite, with a beach that feel private, and they have a free shuttle, so it is no issue to be far from the center of Lubuanbajo.
The pool was also very nice and relaxing.
The bathroom's door didn't work that well.
I read it in other reviews something about the wifi and I felt it was dumb compliants, but then, I saw the reason, every time that you lock your cellphone or ipad, you need to re-register again with username and password and after 5 days, I think I register several hundred times, they really need to improve this because it is really annoying and inefficient.

This is definitely the most underrated place Ive ever stayed. The staff were incredibly friendly and the room was bigger and better than the pictures. The bed was so incredibly comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and serene. It is easy to get places with the airport and city shuttle. They even booked us a Komodo tour for 650,000 IDR a person which included transfer, hiking, snorkeling with manta rays and a small reef, Komodo island, and breakfast and lunch. We had the most comfortable stay and everything was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer

Puri Sari is a lovely hotel with really nice grounds, a good pool and a private beach with amazing view of the sunset. The staff are lovely and do their utmost to offer great service. The restaurant is rather good, we had dinner there when we didn't have the energy to go into town (although the hotel offers a regular free shuttle, which is great) and it was reasonably priced and very tasty. The breakfast options are very generous. Our bed was enormous and very comfortable. The bathroom probably needed a bit of a refresh in terms of decor but nothing worth complaining about. I would recommend this hotel.

Paradise gardens!

After the horrid 'hotels' of Ende this hotel is an oasis! All the staff and super friendly, smiley and helpful. Room is large and clean. A free shuttle takes you to the town centre, (which is dusty and built up so we are very pleased we didn't stay closer to the centre). If you miss the shuttle a taxi is 50r. Set back in lovely gardens, with a great pool. Backs straight into the beach, which is also very clean. Love it here, well worth the money. Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Nice hotel to relax after boat trip

Our family of five arrived in the evening exhausted after our two day / 1 night boat trip to Komodo / Rinca / Padar / Kelor islands and Manta Ray alley. A warm shower and clean air conditioned rooms were very much appreciated. We had two adjacent rooms which was great as it meant we had two bathrooms to have our showers before heading to the restaurant. The food was delicious and affordable, the service was fantastic and staff were friendly. We only had one night and immediately wished we were booked for an extra night. We had to handwash some clothes and didn't quite have enough time to get it all dried but we had enough time for kids to have a swim in the lovely pool in the morning while we waited for clothes to dry. The hotel backs onto the beach so we walked on the beach which we had to ourselves - the views were spectacular.
Guests should remember to bring insect repellant - there were plenty of mosquitos outside the rooms.

Nice old-fashioned hotel on the beach

The welcome was pleasant and professional (was picked up from town and dropped off at airport for free - the distances are short).
Room no. 175 on the ground floor was a good size with a huge canopied bed, but only one bedside table (?). The A/C worked well, the barfridge equally. Water pressure was very good, but the two lights in the bathroom expired soon after arrival and weren't fixed during my 3 days stay.
The attractive gardens are full of birdsong and butterflies, very pleasant. Breakfast buffet was plentyful and varied every day. The beach is very well kept, has a row of comfortable seating/reclining elements, especially appreciated for the spectacular sunsets!
The \"beach cafe\" is simple affair with a few wrought-iron chairs and tables and a lovely breeze.
What bothered me about the relaxing pool area was the entry/exit: as is common in a lot of pools in Indonesia, there are no rails to hold on to and the steps are very high for somebody with knee problems.
Generally, personnel was very friendly and helpful, if a bit inquisitive at times (especially the males).
As is common with pretty much all the hotels in Indonesia, maintenance becomes a problem when the place isn't new any more.
Overall I would prefer this hotel over others in the area for its traditional style and the tranquil environment.

Best Hotel in Labuan Bajo

We spent 3 nights and enjoyed it so much we wanted to extend but they were full. It is a well run hotel. The staff is wonderful - very welcoming, helpful, friendly and always smiling. And that is everyone from the gardeners to the restaurant and reception staff. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool area very private and quiet and surrounded by lovely flowering trees and bushes. Our room was comfortable in every way. The beach area is beautiful with comfortable seating and amazingly clean. A wonderful place to watch a sunset. The only drawback is that very few hotels in Labuan Bajo have beaches where you can comfortably swim. They are shallow and somewhat silty/muddy. But the pool made up for that.

The room had AC, this is great for some. I prefer the tropical air, but could't open the windows because there were no screens. Some refreshed painting on garden items would help. Great free shuttle. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Room was large, spacious, clean and with nice amenities. I just downgraded it to 4 because I couldn't open the windows.

Exceptional hotel with top notch service

My stay at Puri Sari was. Itching short of perfect. The staff went above and beyond to assist with food when restaurant was closed, assisting with booking book charters and other activities and providing drives when needed.

The value of the hotel and restaurant was the best of any of my accommodations over three weeks throughout Indonesia. I would highly recommend staying here.

PERFECT PURI SARI BEACH HOTEL EXPERIENCE

The Hotel offers free airport pickup. We arrived and had a wonderful welcome from the staff. All the staff were always polite and professional. The room looked like the pictures. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the water pressure was very good. The wifi worked well. The first night there was a BBQ on the beach and it was great; delicious food and a traditional dance show. The shuttle service to town was perfect.

Nice hotel. Very big rooms and bathroom. Bed is good but not best. Towels are miderate.
Enjoyed swimming pool. Best part is they have small cabin to provide drinks, snacks and towels. Unfortunately, during our 4 day trip wifi was very slow or almost not there in room as they were upgrading it. However, it was very fast in dining area.

It has beach in back of hotel but it is dirty. No swimming is possible. We enjoyed nice sunset.
Best part is staff very accomodative and ready to help. Early morning they will pack breakfast without fail for your early trip. They have good spread of breakfast, combination of American and Indonesian food.

Hotel is far off from town n nothing is there near by. We had availed there free pick up/ drop at airport and to n fro market for money exchange.
I enjoyed food at their restorant. Food is reasonably priced and tasty, never felt like going to market for dinnrr. I enjoyed Soto Aham, Nicole Salad, fried noodles, vegetable curry stew, Nasi Goreng/Fried rice, seafood curry
Over all I enjoyed the stay. It would have been excellent if they improve ther garden and beautify beach to make it s resort.

Wonderful stay in Labuan Bajo

Room is the same as the picture. Beach is right in front of hotel. Heated outdoor pool, lovely scenery. Wi-Fi spotty, but that's all of Flores. Bed comfortable, had a balcony for myself. There was a laundry rack for clothes. Hotel offers shuttles to take you into town, so you don't have to walk. I ordered the shuttle everyday to drop off and pick up from town. Shuttle was always on time, and punctual! Thank you Hubert (manager) and Felix (shuttle driver) for the impeccable customer service.

Complimentary breakfast was an added bonus. :)
