We had an excellent time because of the very professional staff like Eduardo, Luis and everyone else we encountered. The room was clean, comfortable and modern. Nice pool. Free parking. Good Mexican style breakfast. I like having a fridge in the room but there was a good ice machine.

The room was clean and quite spacious. The hotel is reasonably quiet in the evening. The breakfast was pretty good serving a regional dish, refried beans, chips, salsa, eggs, yogurt, various juices and fruits. I did have some technical issues with the local phone but Edguardo was quite accommodating with arranging my needs until it was fixed.

The property was quiet and clean. Very convenient. I booked this hotel because it said it had a shuttle bus to the airport. I asked about it and a woman at the desk was shaking her head. The receptionist asked about it and she said the guy was sick. I'm thinking so you don't have anyone else to drive the shuttle thats why I booked this hotel due to convenience. I was very disappointed,I should of stayed at the Barcelo Karmina.

It was not what we expected. We have stayed in various Holiday Inn Express and they have all been exceptionally clean and well kept. This one in Manzanillo was old, towels were super old, frayed with a tinge of gray not white, shower curtain was torn in different areas.

It is like 15-20 minute away from the beach, it’s an inconvenience if traveling with elderly or small children. There is not much around the hotel within walking distance and even to order food for delivery was difficult, I had to order from the restaurants that were approved by the hotel because nobody would deliver to that area. The hotel itself was very clean and complimentary breakfast was good. The pool was nice too; heated, but wish there was a Jacuzzi

It’s hot ! The entire hotel is hot ! The rooms are muggy …the floors are dirty . There was no ice in the hotel !… my room description said ocean view there is not one ocean view at all located by a port pier a lot of Noise …never going to this hotel again

The room had all the cleanliness and comfort you'd expect from holiday inn, so no complaints there. By far the comfiest beds in all of Mexico. The problem for me is the location but moreso the lack of parking lot security. This is inarguably the bad part of town. There are no cameras, no fences. There is a gate but it is only monitored a few hours per day. The security guards are afraid of walking alone. The police came on our first night because someone was trying to break into a car and attacking people with a screwdriver. The bank they share a parking lot with has a history of robberies in the parking lot. I appreciate your dedication to consistency holiday inn, but you need to adapt to your environment. Other: Housekeeping kept forgetting to give us things like a bag for the ice bucket, more coffee, and almost refused to give us a 4th towel for our 4th guest. Outside smells like a sewer so the balcony is worthless (and only available on the second floor btw). The room is so hot you can't breathe when you first show up, because you have to put your key in for the air conditioning to turn on and it takes about an hour to cool the room. After that it's fine, just leave one of your keys in when you leave the room. We forgot our key twice and neither time did they ask to see ID, just asked us what room we're in and made a new key based on our word. Convenient, yes, but I'd rather see a dedication to protocol. The beans and eggs at breakfast are actually really good though.

My colleagues and I got in on a delayed flight and arrived at the hotel just after 10 PM and there was nothing open any more, no food, no ordering in, so we went to bed hungry. Still, for a business hotel in a busy port, the place is not bad. Friendly staff, good size pool, good size rooms, decent breakfast.

A Great hotel..un excelente hotel

Great hotel. The only problem is that no restaura Close bay so you need to take a cab to reach one or order to your room.
Also the free car to take you back to the airport for free was a nice surprise, the driver Don Salvador give an excellent service courteous and professional. The room included breakfast and I was pleasantly surprise with it. The front desk is responsive and helpful, and extremely friendly. In sum a Gem if and hotel.
Este hotel es una gema, el desayuno excelente el transfer gratis del hotel al aeropuerto es también excelente, el conductor Don Salvador es profesional y uno de los mejores chismorrea que he visto.la gente del front desk son profesionales y amigables.
En suma un excelente hotel.

We spent one night in Manzanillo as we were travelling through the area. The hotel was in good condition, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hot breakfast in the morning was much better than the average continental breakfast served in most hotels.

Across the highway from the shipping port so away from the tourist area and beaches which may be a problem if you don’t have a car and aren’t here for port business. Did not see any restaurants in the immediate area. Very clean hotel, everything worked. Large shower. Good parking. Breakfast was adequate: yogurt, bananas, apples, sweet breads, toast, scrambled eggs, frijoles. No bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles.

Excellent accommodations and breakfast. Friendly and very helpful staff. The internet worked and the place is clean. My only comment is that it is not a place where you can walk around near and see anything. In the evening, you will not be able to walk to any restaurants or other places.

Comfortable, despite many young families during Easter holiday, it was quiet at bed time. Bus stops close to front entrance. Ten minutes to downtown, five to ten minutes to Las Brisas beaches, restaurants, shopping malls on Blvd. Miguel de Madrid. Front desk Staff were very helpful, pleasant,fluent in English. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel in very poor location for tourists

Very friendly staff at booking and empathetic about our concerns as tourists as to location.
As it was a busy time, the free local shuttle service was significantly booked and not readily available.
Also, it was only available to bring you to a location, not for pick-up.
Very out of the way for a tourist and nothing of any interest withing 2 -3 miles. Walking to the beach was out of the question. Unfortunately, the online information did not make the tourist unfriendly location very evident.
Otherwise, the facility was very good. The pool area was average. The room was bright, spacious and well-appointed.
We only stayed one night and relocated, with a substantial cancellation penalty, to a more tourism appropriate location.

For the most part this is a nice hotel. The beds were comfortable, and for the most part clean, except for the bathroom, which had several hairs on the toilet, which during our stay were never cleaned. Also, the rooms are not very soundproof. We could hear people in the room above us, and also the noise from people in the hallway was very clear.

Great Hotel, Weird Location

If you're only looking for a great hotel, and don't care where it's located or what the view from your room is like, then look no further. The rooms are great and the staff is so friendly. If, like me, you wanted to enjoy the beauty of Manzanillo during your stay with a spectacular view, you will be disappointed. I feel bad even saying that because everything else was so perfect, but I literally teared up when I saw where it was located. Then again, for the price, it's not a far drive to the beautiful beaches and prettier part of town, and again, it's a very clean and comfy hotel.

this hotel is perfect for the business person going to Manzanillo, its the closest to the port, however as a tourist you are about 10 mins from restaurants and beach, the location been next to the port is somewhat dusty due to constant traffic, the hotel is clean, grest pool, good gym and excelent breakfast. Staff is friendly and beds are US quality comfort with large plasma TV and a desk, free wifi is standard. For Manzanillo and the value of the room this is definitely a great value.

Definitetly the customer is not the priority in this hotel

The hotel doesn´t have trolleys to carry your luggage from the car to the room.
Nobody from the staff is available, nor prepared to assist with it.
The receptionist \"does not have acces to the priority club database\".
Be prepared to power interrumptions every 10-15 minutes.
Be prepared to queue at bkfst time since there is only one toaster and hotel´s staff personnel is using it.
Rooms are clean. Swiming pool is nice.
Not customer oriented.
