I did not use the pool. He was often too full. There's a lot of families who go there, especially at Christmas. So the pool was 20-30 people at a time. It was too full and it's a small pool as well. There was a day when there were three dogs in the pool. So I didn't want to go in after I saw that the only other thing was the noise because it's a very Hollow building and with people so many people in the corridors and children screaming and the even the staff at 8:00 in the morning with really loud music while they cleaned it made so that you you couldn't really sleep in so there were some very good things with it, but also a few negatives. They kindly changed my room as well for a balcony with had a view of the beach and made the stay better.

Hola, Buenos dias a quien corresponda:
Es una sugerencia para mejorar la calidad del servicio, si inspeccionarán los aires condicionados en la habitación 104 no enfría para nada, los baños necesitan limpieza profunda, en el vidrio y paredes y el piso de la regadera, Pero imagínese 14 cuartos por limpiar en 8 horas pues ni cuando tengan tiempo de limpiar a profundidad las recamareras, pobrecitas.
El buffet o desayuno lo mismo todos los días y la porción es un poca y jugo de agua teñida😅.
Gracias pero por $100 y $80 niños pues ni me llene, ahí dice buffet en la reservación y resulta que nada.
Las toallas para la alberca no tenían disponibles, sin toallas, esperar a que la recamarera la miráramos para pedir toallas de habitación imajinese que porque no tenian las suficientes toallas, que mal servicio. No tienen secadoras, ni lavadoras para secar ropa, ni para cabello.
El internet pésimo no agarraba señal a cada rato se iba

Good Mexican Style Hotel

Good Mexican style hotel. Right at a public beach so not the cleanest beach area. But the room was clean and comfortable. They were able to accommodate my handicapped mother and our dog so we appreciated that, greatly. Ample parking and right next to a convenient store. About a 20 min drive to more tourist friendly areas but for the money it was a great place for us. But then again we have lived in Mexico for a number of years.

Terrible customer service. I was there at 245 and it took them almost 2 hours to check me in.
Apparently they don't block your room and the cleaning lady does not pick up to tell the receptionist what rooms are available which cause everyone to be disturbed. Only one computer is available so the manager only answers calls and the other lady next to the receptionist just staples your paper work. Would not stay here again. Location was terrible as well.

It's the only hotel not in hotel zone. It is close to downtown and you are not on the ocean. Your view is the ships docking in. Not a good location. Definitely not adults only like you have advertised. The pool too small with more children. I am sure it was filmy due to kids peeing All the time. I do not recommend this place. No free coffee and no micro or small refrigerator.

It's not on a good side of town, not good service, the swimming pool is very small, the room they gave us had 3 doors, (front, back and on the side to another room) , it just didn't feel secure for us to stay there. The shower Not in good shape either, it supposed to be all electronic but the bottoms were all distroyed, air conditioning didn't work, so my husband and I decided not to stay, and looked for another hotel. Afterwards We were told that this place is for people that works here at the sea or on construction in this area, not for people vacationing!!

I spent five nights in the hotel. The staff was nice and competent. The hotel is at 10' walking from the center. The breakfast was ok, mexican style but with no choices.
The hotel have a nice pool and a good free wifi.

For what you pay its alright

Staff was good. The maintenance guy was alot more helpful than any other staff. Rooms were adorable great colors. The only real downside was the fact that our shower was not draining the water correctly and so the water was coming out from underneath the shower and it was all over the bathroom floor. I did let the front desk know and the staff, Alexis, was more than helpful trying to get us into another room. I declined mainly because our room had a balcony and the other rooms did not have a balcony with a view. Which was a bit stranger since it did not seem that there were other guests in the hotel. Overall I would definitely stay there again. I'm sure once the construction is all done with it'll be a great place.

This hotel is so far from the main beaches but close to historical history on Manzanillo. The beds where really hard and the pool was really dirty. You can feel and smell the chemicals they use to clean the pool. They have great AC in the rooms and the rooms are really clean.

The hotel still has construction going on around it but it was easy to find and its right in front of the beach which was so convenient. There are shops around the beach and entertainment. Our stay there was good, the breakfast varied from day to day. The room got pretty cold and there was warm water. The shower was a little outdated and the beds a little hard but nothing to serious. I would definetly book here again especially for the price.

Beware Construction site!

We stayed here for 4 nights in a ground floor room backing into the beach. We arrived at night and the first thing we noticed was the huge construction site on the hotel doorstep. A new flyover is being built & the immediate area around the hotel is a complete mess including the waterfront walkway to the old town. The room had two beds & was generally comfortable with quiet aircon and a powerful shower. Otherwise the rooms are very spartan with no storage & a meagre 5 coat hangers! Free bottled water everyday was a bonus. Although the room had an outside patio there was no table or chairs so we could sit outside. We had continental breakfast but it was pretty bad - one cup of coffee, watered down juice & 2 slices of white toast. Most mornings we didn't bother & got coffee & doughnuts from the well stocked shop next door. The pool area was nice but frequented by large groups of Mexican men which we found a bit intimidating plus they were still there in the evening and were very loud keeping us awake. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was very overpriced due to the lack of room amenities and poor breakfast. Plus the wifi did not work in the room at all although it was good in the reception area. The walk into the old town is awful due to the construction work & overall I'd see no reason to stay at this hotel or Manzanillo again.

Hotel is new and modern but bad location.

The room was clean and inviting but the bed was hard and the toilet did not flush well. The location is bad as the small beach is dirty with pollution from the huge ocean liners that came in and went out daily. Many dock workers in the vicinity some loitering outside drinking. We moved out early as three teams of teenagers moved in and were up most of the night running through the place and loud in the rooms. Pool was very small and hard plastic loungers, most of them broken.

This hotel is not a big resort, if you re looking for a resort type place to vacation this is not for you! The staff is great, they go out of their way to please you. Janet in their front desk is wonderful! She is a great asset to this hotel, she had a smile on her face, but most importantly she had answers for all my questions. The room is very clean, the AC worked great. WiFi worked perfectly on the public/common areas, not in the rooms. They are working on improving the WiFi signal. They served a basic continental breakfast - juice, coffee, toast. They do offered other choices and you pay additional. They also serve lunch for about 3 hours everyday - fish, ceviche, etc; There is a small supermarket (Kiosko) right outside of the hotel, very convenient! The beach is great for kids, there are no big waves. We loved it!

The customer service here is horrible. Hidden fees. They will try to make excuses to get some extra cash out of you. Pool is full of kids. People from the outside can easily enter the pool or rooms. The train is next to the hotel. They will only give you one towel. Just a bad hotel overall. Price is cheap.

Great trip for families

This hotel is not in the hotel zone, however the beach was great for kids. There are hardly any waves and the beach was not crowed even though we went in high season. The room is clean and spacious. The front desk personnel is exceptional, they go out of their way to help you. Janet is a really nice asset to this hotel property, she always has a smile on her face! She is great! AC worked, WiFi worked great in public areas, did not really work in the rooms. This was the only issue we encounter. The price is great. This is not a resort, not a big hotel, very clean and I can't thank the staff for doing an awesome job!

For being Manzanillo, a tourist expensive destination, Zar Manzanillo is a good choice, budget, good for your money. It's in San Pedrito, an ok beach but hotel is clean and nice. They can do some improvement on their showers on the rooms.

This is a perfect smal boutique hotel if working in zlo, if on a beach vacation you are 20mins from the main strip of beaches the beach accross from thenhotel is small and within city limits. Access to downtown zlo is walking distance and offers great values for local restaurants and shopping, internet is good but pick room where the router is closest to the door. Good service clean but beds hard as rock. Shower is a built in plastic deal but good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Pool is clean and wel maintained, theynjust purchased new lounge chairs so much needed. Construction on main road in front makes it a bit difficult to access but ok. Train goes in po ft area 5 times a day and could delay 10mins at the crossing. Slow moving train no biggie and only blares horn at night, never bothered me. I stayed 8 nights I go to zlo everynother month for work and this was not bad I had rental car to get me places. From downtown you have road access to highway 200 which goes direct to airport or colima or santiago beach, golf courses, and newer part of z lo this highway avoids entering the more congested part of the harbor and traffic.

Overall good value & comfort. This hotel is located at the entrance of the south shipping port. There was a lot of construction in Feb 2014 on the road in front of hotel and the train can hold you up if in a hurry to drive somewhere. Clean, comfortable, good parking, good beds, modern. Located on the beach with a nice walking path, mini market in parking lot & vendors with in 100 ft including a few taco stands. It is not in the Zona Hotel area. It is 2 minute drive to the south waterfront & shops. No complaints, good value if that is the area you are looking to stay. I would stay there again

Muy cómodo, pero en algo está fallando y es en el espacio para la (s) mascota es que NO tienen un techo para evitar el sol, la lluvia o el sereno de la noche, y pues se trata de que estén en ese patio lo más cómodo posible para que nosotros salgamos con confianza y dejarlo ahí o que duerman tranquilos.
Ojalá mejoren eso y aunque el precio sea económico ($280) pues creo merecen ese techo tan necesario.

Me gustó la vista al mar, está en muy buena ubicación, a unos metros de la playa. Ademas cuenta con alberca que tambíen puedes ver la playa desde ahí. Las habitaciones están limpias y son comodas. Es un buen lugar para hospedarse. La ubicacion es buena si se quiere conocer el centro pero alejada si uno quiere pasear en la zona turistica.

Se reservaron dos habitaciones en ocupación doble con un máximo de 4 personas por habitación. Al momento de hacer la reserva se puso en una habitación que entraban dos adultos y en otra 1 adulto.
